Audio in left speaker not working properly

Hi I recently have bought the HP ENVY 27 and I'm having trouble with the audio. Whether I pay music through the built in speakers or through the headphone jack in the monitor the left speaker seems to be a LOT (at least 50%) quieter than the right speaker. At first I thought the speakers weren't leveled/balanced out but I checked and they are 50/50. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Ok so I just plugged the monitor into my PC through the front headphone jack and it's working fine, it must be the jack at the back of my PC that is messed up!

Left speaker not functioning properly.

Hi Friends,
I had visited Nokia Care Center five times, at the very first time left speaker was not functioning properly, they changed the speaker but phone was not packed properly. Today I facing speaker problem again as well as phone packing is loose.
Please suggest me whom to approach now because I am totally fed up of service provided by Nokia Care Center.

2008 Macbook pro left click not working properly after upgrading to 10.6.8

I have a 2008 Macbook pro and a few months ago after upgrading to 10.6.8 my left click has been wonky.
Using the trackpad the left click eventually gets "stuck" or stops responding and I have to push it multiple times before it does anything. I have tried plugging in a mouse, but when I do so the mouse also behaves the same way. The only way I seem to be able to get the clicking to work properly is to restart the computer with the mouse attached.
I have seen threads about trackpads being messed up by swollen batteries, but my battery is brand new and looks fine, and the clicking problem extends to an external mouse, so I believe it is something with the preferences.
I tried deleting com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouchTrackpad.plist and restarting and the problem seemed to be fixed, but then after about a half hour it returned.
Having to keep a mouse plugged into my macbook is driving me crazy, anyone know a solution?

I started having the same issue after update. I'm on a MacBookpro running 10.7.2
ICalled apple and they did a remove battery reboot, a reload lion and a option/command/R/P reboot on startup and then the computer started working. Two days later problem was back. I then did a reboot and the computer was back to working. Today the computer worked fine tell it went to sleep. I had to do a hard reboot to get the Mac up and running and now no left click. Please help. I can not use the Mac with the trackpad, a mouse, a Bluetooth mouse, or a digital pad. All so signs of left mouse click not working. One other item when you go to pick your user at startup the left mouse click works. Help!

External Speaker not Working Properly

Ok, i have this annoying problem with the external transducer...basically sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
This kinda disrupts all the allarm options as i can't rely on a device that "eventually" will work.
This is the second iPod Touch i change and the problem is the same so i guess it is not an hardware fault but most likely software.
Has anyone ever encountered a problem like this one?

A few days ago I tried to help a guy with Bose External Speakers and we found the male jack isn't quite long enough to make the connection:

Just to share information for others who might come across this problem with Bose or any other external speakers, where the male jack doesn't quite go in far enough for the MacBook to recognize it, here is the solution that worked for me:

IOS 6 update = Speaker not working properly

My speaker was fine and I have no reason to believe there are any hardware issues. As soon as I updated my iOS 5.1.1 to the new iOS 6 it stopped working and now I can't listen to music or watch videos on my iPhone unless I insert a headphone!
What's happened and how can this be resolved?

Experiencing similar problems with both me and my wife's iPhone 4S's. My phone's speaker was muffled until I played a song, then it seemed to work ok. My wife's will not work at all except for when you adjust sound settings (e.g. changing the alert sound). Then it works only during the "test" and reverts back to its broken state.
P.S. And yes, I've rebooted both numerous times. This has no obvious affect.

Lenovo T440 left-klick not working properly

3 weeks ago, I bought a new T440 laptop. It is one of those that have the buttons for trackpoint users painted on the touchpad. Because I prefer the trackpoint, I've disabled the touchpad function, so now it is only used for left- and right-clicks. Unfortunately, in the last week or so, the left-click function has become poorer and poorer. Sometimes it works with the first click, but often I have to click twice for something to happen, sometimes even 3-5 times. When it doesn't work, I have to use some force and not just click, but rather hit the touchpad with my thumb. That usually gets the click through. But it's time consuming and annoying, because I never know how many clicks it will take to open anything. Right-click seems to be working fine, but I also don't use it that often.
I have 3 years of warranty on this computer, but I bought it in Estonia, as I was visiting my family for a week. Now I'm back in Germany where I study and I'm not sure I can use the warranty here.... Right now, the only solution would be buying an external mouse, but I have to be mobile with my laptop and a mouse would be a nuisance anywhere other than at my own desk.
I would be very thankful for any ideas on how to solve this problem or even just for information on what might be causing the problem.

If you open the Lenovo Solution Centre, should normally be a red "blob" on the taskbar, it will show your system details. You need to enter the first four numbers / letters of the "Product" on the IWS site. Alternatively you should be able to find the number in the battery bay after removing the battery.

Ddts-100, side left speaker not working

i have a ddts-100, and a set of t7700 speakers, all the channels work in the correct order except the side left channel has no sound at all. all the speakers are in full working order because they work perfectly on my pc. any one got any ideas?

Your connection since you use the ddts-100 is digital so you use a coaxial or optical cable and the maximum speakers that can play with digital signal are 6.1.
If you want to use all of you speakers you have to connect the 4:3 cable.You can connect it directly from your soundcard to your speakers or through the cable divider .
Now if you're using the 4:3 cable check in Creative Audio Console that you check 7.1 option.

Speaker not working properly iPhone 4S

Hello. I got my iPhone 4S wet (oops) and I have no sound when playing videos or music but it still rings when I get calls/texts, other than that it's working fine. Any ideas??!!

Clean very well the iPhone charging port with toothbrush and small amount of Isopropyl Alcohol. If still problem consider replacing the iPhone charging port assembly with flex cable and lower mic, about $5 part. Water damage can be long term progressive worsening problem. Consider gdgmacguy advice and go to Apple.

How to fix left speaker to work on iphone 4 and headphone jack, it has caused my Beats headphones and another pair to become extremely low. first it was the left ear now both?

I first had a problem with the left speaker not working on the bottom of the phone, then when using heeadphones the left er began to lose nearly all volume and now both are damaged. this is permanent damage not caused by anything other than the phone and has already made 2 seperate pairs of Beats By Dre nearly useless. when i use the headphones in any other device the damage still exists also, the iphone vibrates randomly with 1 vibration not caused by any apps or notifications at all. does apple repair this for free?

The "left speaker" on the bottom of the phone is not a speaker. It is a microphone. There is only one speaker on the bottom of the phone.

MSI 865PE NEO FISR2 Audio not working properly

The audio on my board is not working properly. I have it set for 6 channel and am using Creative Labs Inspire 5.1 Speakers that have 3 inputs that match the 3 output jacks on the mobo. However, its just not right. It is sending anything to all 5.1 speakers and also to the proper speaker at same time. So every sound is coming through all speakers and it a tad louder on the speaker it should be coming out on. Anyone else have any clue as to what setting I can change to correct this or is this something wrong with the cmedia drivers?

The answer to all your suggestions is yes, already did it and in the demo app the sounds work fine. Its just so odd, I may just go to Circuit City tomorrow and buy another set of speakers and see if it is possibly them that are causing the issue. Then if so, I'll just return the Creative Labs ones as I just bought them 2 weeks ago and CC has great return policy
