Audio Input Error Message

I have AA3 with a built-in Intel high definition audio card, and its drivers are up to date.
When I start the program, the following error message appears: "The audio input is not activated. Recording audio is not possible. Please check your configuration."
I am trying to troubleshoot the problem within the "Audio Hardware Setup" window (see the screenshot below).
It doesn't matter whether I check or uncheck "Release ASIO Driver in Background," the error message still appears.
Thanks for any tips on how to further troubleshoot this error message.

...and since there's no way you'll get an ASIO driver for an internal sound device, the 'Release ASIO driver' message shouldn't make any difference to anything...
One thing you might like to try though is the free ASIO4ALL driver, as a replacement for the 'Audition 3.0 Windows Sound' one. This has better diagnostics, and may give you more of a clue about what your sound device isn't doing. Just Google it - it's easy to find.

Automator Action "Import Audio Files" error message

I use this automator action daily when it is activated via an alarm time in iCal. It is the 3rd workflow run in a series of 7 worlflows to create audio files while I'm at work (I record XM programming for use later on my iPod). Since I upgraded to OSX Lion yesterday, I'm getting a new error message I've never seen and I can't find any info on it. Can anyone help? The error message in a popup dialogue box is:
The action “Import Audio Files” encountered an error.
Check the actionʼs properties and try running the workflow again.
Under the Log for the workflow I get this message:
The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus error -1712.) (-1712)
The imported audio file does actually get inputted into iTunes and converted properly via iTunes, but the error creates two problems. One is the source file isn't deleted after the action runs (which is a checkbox option in that particular action). This isn't a big deal, because I can create another workflow seperately to delete the file, so I'm not as concerned with that. The major problem is that the error dialoge box displays and the sebsequent workflows that are scheduled to run right after this one can't run becasue Automator is occupied with the error message.
I'm looking for any advice I can find, I've been using this series of workflows for a long time without issue, but seems like everytime there is a new OS I have to go through the geriatrics of figuring out what slight changes apple made to the Automator actions.

Hi,
I just solved the problem pretty easily: earlier, on Snow Leopard, automator had to be set to work in 32bit instead of 64bit otherwise there has been a lot of error messages.
I tried to do the same with iTunes on Lion and, oh miracle, it works:
close iTunes then go to Applications -> right click on iTunes -> read informations -> check the box to run the app in 32bits and restart iTunes and .... that's it.
I work in a local radio in Belgium and I rely on automator on an everyday basis to download then add prerecorded broadcasts to iTunes to be aired with Lion server and I was stuck since a few weeks because of that problem. Now I can finally work again :-)

Playing mp4 audio gives error message "Video can't be played because the file is corrupt"

Playing a particular mp4 audio file directly from a website link gives error message "Video can't be played because the file is corrupt". However other mp4 audio files from this same website do work correctly. What can I do to get all the the mp4 audio files to play directly from the same website? I must have the correct plugins, etc. since the other files play. This file is not playing from YouTube, is it on the website.

On the input : error message if there is no such id in the database to edit? and out put comments messed up the whole

then it get to the next page for you to edit (CoEditForm.cfm). then

Audio configuration error message

after upgrading to 7.3.1, i get an error message that reads "itunes cannot run because it has detected a problem with your audio configuration". and, consequently, itunes does not open. i have reset my computer to previous settings and have attempted to remove the update. anyone else having similar problem? everything was fine yesterday...

Since iTunes uses QuickTime to play audio/video content in iTunes, that error message most likely indicates that there's a problem with your Quicktime installation.

Weird Audio Configuration Error Message

When I turn on the computer and start up iTunes, everything works fine. The first time. If I close it and then reopen later, I get an error message that says: "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/video playback my not operate properly." Program proceeds to open, but I'm unable to play songs. On the Apple site, it said that an answer to a similar (but not identical) error message was to reinstall QuickTime, which I've done. To no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks.

When Audio Console launched, Unable to find audio device error message comes

When I launch audio console, I get an error message saying:
"Unable to find audio device. Please make sure that your audio device is enabled and installed with its driver. This application will be closed."
This can't be right because my soundblaster audigy 2 ZS platinum card is installed, its working, I can hear things etc.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the audio console software package from creative and that fixed the problem for a very short while and it is now reoccurring.
I've had this same setup for several years with no issues, now all of a sudden, this is happening.
Anyone out there had similar challenges?

Most probably you don't have passed the correct root= option to the kernel so that the kernel cannot, as it says, find its root device. Read the wiki page about refind in order to know how to configure it (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/REFInd). Refind as no fully automatic configuration like grub.

Dolby Advanced Audio V2 Error Message After Lenovo Update

I received the following error message after completing a Lenovo Update: "The current Dolby audio driver version is 8.2.8000.14 and the software application expects driver version 7.2.7000.7. Please install a valid driver and software application." I have run Lenovo Update again and no updates/downloads were required. What action do I need to take to correct the problem so that Dolby Advanced Audio V2 works correctly? Thank you for your help.

even though it was originally described as an E430 problem, there are reports in the thread that uninstalling Conexant Audio from Control Panel and rebooting fixed the Dolby Audio issue.

P7000 Enable input: Error message: Amplifier Disables

Hi,
I have a P70360 and I want to connect it to a small stepper motor.
When I open P7000 Tools, I cannot probe the motor, since it always says that the Amplifier is Disabled (bottom right corner) and when I hit the "probe" button it says that the drive is fault, disabled, or disconnected.
I have no idea how I can get rid of it.
In the manual it says the following for this error:
Green 1
Amplifier is disabled
The enable input (J4-5 & J4-6) is not asserted if ENABLE is configured ACTIVE CLOSED or the enable input is asserted if ENABLE is configured ACTIVE OPEN.
De-assert the enable input or disable the soft shutdown from P7000Tools.
Can anyone help me with this?

I had the same issue.
I'm using a UMI-7774 Motion Interface; on the respective axis, above the COM cable connector there are three switches: Fault, Enable, Limit. I put the Enable switch in the "active low" position. In your case, ACTIVE CLOSED = "active low" for whatever type of interface you're using.
Basically, the error message means that P7000 Tools isn't getting the expected signal from the drive. Check the cable connections.

KT3 Ultra 2 onboard audio.. error message

Hi everybody:
I recently install a fresh copy of WinXP on a KT3 Ultra2-C board. Originally I installed only one sound card (a Sound Blaster Audigy 2) and everything was ok. No error messages, no bugs.
Today I enabled the "onboard audio function" and after the proper installation of drivers and software for it (Realtek AC'97 Audio for VIA (R) Audio Controller), I'm getting an error message window, opening the Control Panel that says:
"To enable the advanced sound effect for gaming, please make sure the setting of Hardware Acceleration is "full". The directory is as below: Control Panel -> Multimedia(Win98) / Sound & Multimedia(Win 2000, Me) / Sound & Audio Device(WinXP) -> Audio -> Playback/Advance... -> Performance -> Hardware Acceleration."
It opens about 4 times before I get to the CP.
I uninstalled the software and disabled the audio card. I even restore my pc to an earlier time, but I'm still getting this annoying window. Any ideas??
Is not that the machine crashes or something like that, it's only the annoying window...

hi, 2 days ago i had the exact same prob and what i did was download the latest drivers wdm_a3401 and installed these but before i installed these i re-installed direct x 9 and when i restarted the problem had gone away..
ohh i also deleted the directx.cpl file from my system32 folder..
anyway mines sorted now so try what i did and see if it works for you.. gl

Audio Engine error message

Hey all,
During play back and recording in a a lot of instances, Logic will stop and flash the "audio engine could not process data..." (The Audio Engine Overload Message). I've got 4.5GB of RAM, save my audio to a firewire external hard drive and I have the System Performance window open.
The Disc I/O has nothing in it and the Audio side has the bars lit up intermittent at times, but never going into deep yellow or red.
I have minimal efffects running and on tracks I DO have effects, I run them through a bus/send.
Any ideas?

You at 96 or 88.2 Khz sampling rate by any chance and using something like BFD or other sampled library which is sampled at 44.1?
How many tracks are you playing back?
This is what used to cause my problems because Logic has to up sample those 44.1 libs and it's a lot of work for it if you have something like 8-12 tracks.
If that's not it, my next guess is that your external firewire drive is either too slow or not optimized. I optimize mine constantly using Disk Warrior.

I installed all needed SDKs correctly (all was done like in tutorial movies)
I'm able to create Windows Mobile package and this package works correctly, but when i try to create Symbian60 package I always get message 'Error occured while packaging. Please check inputs and try again'. I tried to reinstall Symbian SDK and also Adobe mobile packager 1.1 but this not helps. I would like to ask if there is some log file craeted during packaging. I think that problem is somewhere in SymbianSDK but I can not find any log or any process file.

Error message trying to synchronise audio and midi sample rate 42463

I have a Rode Podcaster mic that is terrific. It has been working fine in GB. suddenly I am getting this when I try to record my podcast:
'Error message trying to synchronise audio and midi sample rate 42463 recognised. Check conflict between Garageband and external device'
Has anyone experienced this before? How do I resolve it? I'm still using my Version 6.0.5.
Apple, is this a way of forcing me to upgrade to V10?

Just click the icon on each track that stops it acting as a live input. It looks like a sound wave. Only have them clicked orange when using the track to record! I don't know if that will solve your problem!

Error message when trying to export audio file to DVD

I recorded an interview on a portable voice recorder and transferred the data into Garage Band by connection of a cable connected to the headphone of the device to the speaker input in the Mac. Garage Band took the audio file. It is 1.5 GB. I did some minor editing and wanted to save the file onto a DVD. When I selected "share" to export song to the DVD, an error message came up stating that the file was over 2 GB, which it wasn't. The file was then broken in two and one part was "shared", but the same error message came up. I took the computer to the Apple store for the Genus to help me with, but he had the same problem. The only way that he was able to save the audio file to a DVD was to select the file and place the file on a blank DVD. However, it can only be listened on a computer with Garage Band. I intend to use my voice recorder again to interview people. How can I input the audio file in the Mac and have it saved on a DVD to be played on multiple devices?

Are you using Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat to export PDF to excel?
What software version are you using?
Also ,could you please tell what is that error message and it would be wonderful if you could share the screenshot of the error message with us so that we can assist you accordingly .
I would also like to know what OS do you work on ?
Is it happening with all kinds of PDF you are trying to convert or any specific one?
