Audio modifications not effecting both a1 and a2

I'm worried I've made some sort of adjustment in a setting somewhere without knowing it. In my FCP7 project, I have several audio clips in stereo with audio in both a1 and a2 (or a5 and a6, etc.). In the past, when I have made an adjustment with one of them, say I brought the level of a1 up or down (or used my pen tool to adjust a increase or decrease in volume), it automatically did the same for a2. But for some reason today it isn't making the automatic adjustment for a2, it is making me go and replicate the same thing in both channels. Does anyone know how I can get back to the point where if I adjust one, it automatically adjusts the other?

                 The scoreboard i designed via query print layout. So i calculated by using formula field ie totalsales- sales return for that i used formula and i follow the below steps
Choose repetitive area -
> Right mouse click---> sort
in the sorting i choose the formula uinque id and i choose Ascending then summary, after i click ok
Suggest me the solution

Why is my Photoshop CS4 not installing both 64 and 32 bit versions?

Hello,
I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit.
I purchased and downloaded Photoshop CS4 Extended and it installed as a 64 bit program. Now I need a 32 bit version also (for some Nik plugins), but the installer didn't install the 32 bit version (it would be in Program Files (x86). It should have installed both as a default.
Also, I didn't change the default pathing as I know that can screw the install up.
I ran the install program again and it runs through the complete install without giving me the Options Panel to select which version 64 or 32 (or both) to install.
Should I completely uninstall PS and reinstall to see if I get the install Options Panel? Other Ideas?

It's a great idea, but I don't know how. I have the downloaded the PS CS4 file from Adobe that I used to originally install PS. I re-ran this install program and it reinstalled the same 64bit program that I already have; it never gave me any options as to which version to install.
I'm think I'll just have to de-activate, uninstall, reinstall to get the PS install Options Panel.

My audio stopped working suddenly (both w/ and w/o headphones) and a bluetooth error message keeps popping up?

Abruptly today my audio stopped working and when I plug my headphones it doesn't work either. A popup comes up saying something like "A Bluetooth Error Occurred, we are having trouble connecting to your audio device blah blah blah" then the only button to press is "Stop using headset", so I click that and nothing happens. When I open the bluetooth thing on system preferences the only device is a speaker that is across the country from me and is not connected.
Can someone pleaseeeeee help me?

About two months ago I had a problem where no sound came out of any left headphones (headphones where fine) and this lasted about a week. I was going to have it checked, but then it started working and been ok since. Maybe giving it time will fix it by itself, or maybe it's a more serious problem and needs to be checked out. Hard to tell. It's best to get it checked out if this problem continues but first try restarting the computer. Goodluck on finals, I got em too.

Imessage not working, both ipad and iphone

I've been using imessage for the last few weeks, and suddenly a few days ago i stopped being able to send texts as imessage. aswell, i stopped recieving messages that were sent to me using imessage (they just dissapear into cyberspace). this problem is not just on my iphone, but on my ipad too. im wondering if it has something to do with a problem with my apple id. i can still facetime from both devices.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

first, turn off Send As SMS. This will ensure that your iMessage will only get through as an iMessage over Wi-Fi and not as a regular SMS charged by your carrier.

Audio files saved as both mp3 and wav

I'm using CS5.5 and suddenly when I save a file as an .mp3 it will also make .wav copies of the file, and since at this radio station we conserve space by only recording at 320Kbps .mp3, wav files are just too big. Is there a setting I can change to save only to the .mp3 that I have chosen?

Can you please describe exactly how you're doing this? FWIW, I'm not aware of any way that Audition can do this unaided...

Time capsule wireless router can not connect both Macbook and iPad

Currently my new time capsule can only connect my macbook pro wirelessly or by ethernet. My iPad or PC can not been connected to it. I guess the setting for the router is something wrong, but I do not know how to fix it. The settings indicate that there is no DNS address, and the router is off (bridged). I tried to change the router setting, but does not succeed. Sincerely ask for help.

Sorry but I need you to clarify.. router is off.. what router are you talking about??
If the clients do not have DNS, have you tried just supplying the standard google dns ie... 8.8.8.8 (very lucky number for Chinese) or 8.8.4.4

You can usually set dns manually whilst still using DHCP for IP address.
But better to start again.. reset the TC..
Give it a simple name .. no spaces.. all alphanumeric.. the default name is NOT windows networking valid.
eg I name my TC.. TC1
Wireless name.. same rules.. I use TC24 and TC5 (I use separate names for 2.4ghz and 5ghz as I do not want computers auto swapping bands) I also set channels manually.. again because I do not want them auto swapping channels.
Wireless passwords.. same rules.. you need to make it a bit longer of course.. but pure alphanumeric no spaces.
In the disk area, assuming you want disk access.. then put in the WORKGROUP name.. usually WORKGROUP.. in caps btw.
If you do all that it will usually also work with iPad.

External mail routing not working both inbound and outbound

Hello there,
I installed AD 2008 R2 including the Exchange 2010 in my lab. I also use the DNS on the same server. I am able to send emails internally via OWA with other users, but I cannot send email externally nor receive one. When I tried to send email from my external
account it says no MX or A record, but when I use the nslookup tool it finds the mx record. I have my send connectors ok and also I created accepted domain. the smtp domain I am using is corp.contoso.net. I am new to Exchange and configuring mail routing.
I am sure I probably just mis-configured the server. I also use the mxtool and of course it did say no mx or A record exists. Any ideas that you can toss around is greatly appreciated please.

Do you have A record and MX record created in your external DNS?
Without MX record you won't be able to receive external emails.
Make sure "Anonymous Users" ticked in the default receive connector properties.
Check this
If send connector created please make sure it has internet and tick "use the external dns lookup settings on the transport server" and add external DNS IP in your transport server properties using this command .
Set-TransportServer Hub01 -ExternalDNSAdapterEnabled $false -ExternalDNSServers {192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.2}

System Audio Is Not Working: Error AppleLegacyAudio/AppleTexas2Audio.cpp

Hello,
I noticed last night that my audio has stopped working, both input and output. After checking the system log, this is the message that is repeated numerous times:

Is the reason the audio is not working simply a matter of a missing file or do I need to completely reinstall the OS? I have a back up that I can quickly copy files from.

Try deleting this file: com.apple.audio.DeviceSettings.plist
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences. Drag that .plist file from the Preferences folder to the trash, empty the trash and reboot. See if your audio works as it should. If not... might want to do an Archive and Install:

AUDIO PROBLEMS when converting to youtube - When I export my file, parts of the audio are not working on ipads or iphones - any explanation for this?

I am posting videos to youtube and for some reason different portions of my audio are not working both on iphone and ipads... any thoughts on this would be appreciated

Try using psd. Some rerports indicate some confustion between the apps with TIFF. See:

"The file [name of file] may have been changed by another user since you last saved it." Issue affects both network and local files.

When a certain user saves a file in Excel 2010, she gets a message: "The file <name of file> may have been changed by another user since you last saved it." She can choose to save as another file or overwrite with her changes.
This just started happening a week or so ago. She was concerned that someone else was accessing her files, but we did several tests that opened, made a change and saved in a matter of seconds, and she still gets the message. It happens on
most files, but not all – both network and local.
We already tried the QFE_Saskatchewan registry fix. I also checked the file server for Services for Macintosh.

You may be confused by the error in Excel saying “another user”. Actually Excel cannot tell who (the real human) is editing the file. Based on my research the No.1 possibility of the error is KB2626998.

For Excel 2010, follow these steps:
a. Click Start , click Run , type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK .

d. Type NetworkAvailableTimeInSeconds , and then press Enter.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\office\14.0\common\Internet
h. Repeat step 2C through step 2F again. Reuse the same value that you used previously.

A deployed bean can not be both stateful and stateless. You must specify the session-type in the deployment descriptor. The reason that deployed beans must be either stateful or stateless is that the ejb container must know how to handle them. Stateful and stateless beans have very different life cycles as I'm sure HeadFirstEJB pointed out.
What HeadFirstEJB might have been trying to say is that if you have a no-arg create along with other create methods, you may be able to deploy the bean as stateless in one environment and stateful in another. I can't think of any reason you might want to do this but I suppose there might be some valid reasons out there.

Lines in screen ( cracks but has not effected the way I can see stuff )

I have had my laptop for nearly 3 years and have loved it ever since , always looking after it .
One morning i wake up to find a few almost like scratches, (No one has touched it) on the screen now lucky for me they do not effect the visuals and everything is clear but litterally its the glass part of the laptop thats cracked.
Does anyone know the cost and what method this will all go through.

Duplicating audio to play in both channels

I want to take my audio for channel one and duplicate it so that the same audio plays out of both left and right channels. I can duplicate the audio and put it on the layer below but it just plays both layers our of the left channel. how can i make it play out of both left and right channels?

It sounds like you originally had a stereo pair (a1/a2) that you unlinked, which gave you a Mono(a1) and a Mono(a2), and then you deleted one of them.
When you unlink a stereo pair, each resulting Mono track retains its original properties, including left or right channel assignment. This can be changed with the pan control in the Viewer.
When you duplicated the clip (a1 for sake of argument) and placed it on a new track, all you got was another copy that retained all the same characteristics of the original - including the left or right channel assignment. That's why you still only had audio from one channel.
The way to change this is to pan to center as I described above.
