Audio problem after rendering!

Hi everyone! I am having a problem with sound in my project after rendering. I am using Adobe Premiere CS2 , and in Audio track 1, I have someone speaking, and in track 2 I have backround music. When I play it back in the window, together it sounds perfect. After rendering, the voice becomes very crackly and distorted. I have tried rendering just the voice without the backround music, and it sounds perfect. It seems the addition of backround music is causing the distortion to the other track. I have tried rendering the backround music seperately and adding it in, but still the problem persists. I adjust the music so that when the kids are talking, the music dips down, and when they are not, I leave it at it's normal level. HELP..I am losing my grip on this one! Thanks so much....Tammy

Tammy,
If we've dropped a bit of time for this part of the edit, you now have time for more fun aspects of it.
While I will casually monitor my Meters, I spend much more time with a good set of noise-canceling headphones, listening critically. The Meters are basically to point up potential issues. With Audio, if you have not invested in a really good set of headphones, do yourself a big favor, and sneak 'em into the budget.
Glad that you got things toned down.
Now, let's go on to Lesson 02 - The Audio Mixer. Unlike adding Keyframes to a Clip, when your cutting is done, you can apply Track Keyframes to attenuate (also Pan, etc.) you Audio Tracks to suit. One would just change the Send in that Track to Write, or Touch, and "ride the gain" with the slider, as is required. I probably do most of my Audio editing there, than addressing the individual Clips. First thing that I have done is cut back a bit on the frequency of the Track Keyframes in Edit>Preferences, as I find the default to add too many (and you can go in and adjust these by hand, if you need to "smooth" things out a bit.). One caution: do this when you are satisfied with the cuts, Clip placement, etc., as these Keyframes are applied to the Track. If you were to remove a Clip, and replace it, those Keyframes would apply to that new Clip, whether you want them to, or not. This trips some folk up, if they do the Audio Mixer thing too soon in the editing. Wait until you are "in love" with your Timeline otherwise. It's like scoring a Project. One does that as about the very last step, or much work will be repeated, and that is not fun.
Good luck,

  • I have Audio problems after 6.1.2 update. What do I do?

Is anybody else having audio problems after updating to 6.1.2? How do I Fix it?

    No problems here.
First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  It could take well over an hour!  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

  • Sound problems after rendering

    Hi,
Being that I have Premiere Pro 7.0, I am not too sure how  much help I will get, but i was hoping that someone here could still  help if all possible. Here is my problem. I thought I start practicing  developing video lessons for 3d software. These lessons would be created  using a screen captureing program, called camStudio. In my first  lesson, my first try doing the entire lesson as one video, I found out  that the video file size exceeded CamStudio's exporter file size  allowance when trying to save out to Microsoft DV 1 AVI file. I then  decided to split the lesson into 2, but final compose it as one video in  Premiere Pro 7.0. Since the lesson was broken up into 2 screen captured  videos, I thought it would make things easier if each screen captured  video was in its own simulation. So, in other words,  I have created 2  simulations in one project, and then I had nested both of them into the  3rd simulation. For example, simulation 1 was called lesson1 part a, and  simulation 2 was named lesson1 part b, and the third simulation was  called lesson1. Once I had everything setup, at first everything was  working fine, meaing I could see the video and hear the sound tracks.  However, after I choose to render the sequence using Microsoft DV11 AVI,  I do not get any sound, and yet I made sure that the exporter exports  both the video and audio. Furthermore, after rendering the project,  going back to Premiere Pro's project, and pressing play, I get the  error.... Disk Write Error: Verify drive connection, available disk  space and disk  access privileges
However, when I go inside  simulation 1 or simulation 2, I still hear their sound tracks. One other  thing I have noticed is that I get the sound back in the project if I  move the orginal simulations into a new simulation. By doing that, I am  then able to recover the project,. but if I choose to render again, the  same process happens all over again.
    Does anyone Have  any ideas?
    My Specs
    Adobe Premiere Pro 7.0
    Windows  XP SP3
    CPU 3.0GHz processor

so are you saying that the problem could be comming from how I did my recording with CamStudio? Not to change the subject, but you see, I am kind of lost. My goal is to provide some free video lessons. I was thinking my final encoded videos will be in DivX or XVid. CamStudio does offer users to compress to thise types of format. Howeveer, due to owning a very cheap microphone, those kinds that sit on your desktop, is causing me to have the biggest problem, since there is a good amount of background hissing noise in my recordings. So, I have been using both CamStudio for the screen capturing and Audacity to do the voice recording. Then in Audacity, I try my best of tuning up the voice and removing the background hissing noise. Once that is finished, I then need some sort of video editing software that allows me to put the video and my voice recodring together as well as splicing areas of the lesson where I stutter or slurr my speach a bit, which can be easily fixed in Adobe Premire Pro. However,  my version of Premiere does not offer XVid or DivX encoding. I was thinking of using VirtualDub, but I really do not want to have 5 programs, just so that I can fix all of my problems, not to mention I have no $$$$ left. So is there a free better way?

  • Audio delay after rendering

    Hello,
I'm a YouTuber from Poland who puts on my channel movies (named commonly gameplays) from variety of games. I rendered about 250 gameplays using Premiere Pro CS5.5 and CS6. Except for the raw video from the game, I also render my gameplays adding the video from internet camera and sound of my voice from TeamSpeak (material from the game, camera and teamspeak are recorded separately).
Recently I encountered a very wierd problem with my Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 - audio from the game is delayed after rendering movie. My voice is rendered as it should be with no delays.
Everything was fine earlier, I had no problems! And I haven't changed (consciously) anything at all im my Premiere Pro CS6 settings nor in my hardware. What is more important, when I render only half of the sequence or some part, audio is okey and there are no delays - therefore this excludes a hypothesis about beeing something wrong with my recording settings. It seems that is happening only when I render video from the beginning...
It may be important to say, that normally I record all videos with MSI Afterburner but recently I installed FRAPS on my computer. And than this problem came out. I have no idea how that may be related but it's just an observation. After instaling FRAPS I had another problem with memory paging file - games were closed when I recorded with MSI Afterburner due to insufficient virtual memory. Never had this problem either. I uninstalled FRAPS, reinstalled MSI, installed FRAPS again and now I don't have that problem. Another weird thing going on...
    Edit
When I close Premiere Pro CS6 I receive a message that Adobe Media Core CS6 stopped working... may it be related?

  • Audio skips after rendering

Does anyone know how to correct audio that skips after rendering? The video is fine and the audio matches up to the video but the audio skips as though it is going in and out. The movie is about 2 hours long and the first few clips were fine but now it is becoming a problem. I rendered both the video and audio at the same time then I went back and rendered only.....mixdown to see if I could get it to work......no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Audio problems after battery drained

Well, my ipod shuffle 2nd gen was working perfectly well. I'm sorry that I left it completely still in my desk for nearly a month... (No one ever touched it during that month)
After that time, I connected it to my computer, it needed a while (about 5 minutes) before my PC recognized it. iTunes recognized my ipod too, and I can sync music, copy files to and from my ipod. The problem was, when I plugged in the ear-phone, no sound came from my ipod, only some kind of weird noises. At first, I thought it would be my ear-phone's problem, but I tested it carefully with my other Music devices. I'm pretty sure the audio jack had problem, because I could hear disturbed music on my ear-phone. My questions are, why can the audio jack have problem after a month with no-one touch the ipod, and is there any solution for my problems? (I really don't want to use it as a 1GB flash disk...)

what kind of speed changes do you mean? If you mean using some clips in slo-mo (with the sound dropped out) then yes I used a LOT of them... but they are also working fine for the first several minutes...

  • Strange problem after rendering!

Hi guys , could you help me please? my system is Premiere Pro CS3, Win Vista32, 2gb Ram , integrated ATI xpress 200m with 128mb (with the last drivers), core2duo 1.8.
My problem is the following: after importing an AVI 640x480 30fps clip shot with my sony digital camera t20, i add it to the timeline, i play it and it works fine but right after rendering it , it jumps and flick. It also plays fine with windows media player so i was wondering why !!?!??
Are my setting of the project correct? I used DV NTSC 48khz project, but dont think that is something about these settings right? could it be main settings of premiere? i also read that some people had problems using the same graphic card 200m with premiere and vista, could the problem be connected with it?
thanks in advance if you can help...

No. Sorry. I have seen video shot on the same camera at 24fps and at 30fps and the difference was barely detectable. Both scenes were lit the same and shot the same other than frame rate. If we slowed it down it was detectable. Once played on a 20' screen it was a lot more evident, however. When the footage took up my entire area of vision, then the stuttering of the slower frame rate was easier to see. But on a smaller screen, no.
The "video" look is caused by a lack of depth of field and a sharper contrast, both of which should be addressed during production, not post. Just slowing the frame rate just isn't enough to make it not look like video.

  • Picturesize problem after Rendering a timeline in Premiere Pro CS4

    Hello,
I currently work with 4.1.0 and have the following problem. When I import Tif sequenze 1280x720 as film, first the film looks correct. The red line above in the timeline says that the sequence is not rendered. When I render now this timeline by pressing the Enter-key, after rendering the content looks zoomed in the preview and on an output monitor the picturesize shrink to approx. 70 %. But there is no effect on this track. This happens simply with original tif files. When I use JPEG files the problem does not exists. So I presume a problem when processing tif files. Do you know problem like this?
    Thanks for an answer

  • Strange problem after rendering reader extension

Pdf file is working well before rendering reader extension right. After reader extension right one page is automatically created double.
I cannot realize why the page become double. I was analysing with xfa debuger. All properties of page same but page2 is created double.
    https://dl.dropbox.com/u/70850345/print/xfaDebuger.jpg
I also moved page 3 next to page1. Then page3 is created double after rendering reader extension right.
DO you know why this page is created double?

    Hi,
there are several bugs in you form, which is really 'complicated'.
Most are allowed page breaks for subforms where you did not allow page breaks for the parent objects (the surrounding subforms or pages).
You also set several subforms flowable while the surrounding page are set positioned.
I fixed a few of the problems but not all as I had not the time.
The next thing I don't understand are the many masterpages which have almost the same content.
You'll need just one. All the rest can be placed on the body page(s).
In fact you also only need a single body page which is floating top-to-bottom and allows page breaks.
There you can place all the subforms you currently set as single pages.

  • Audio problems after exporting out of iMovie

    Aloha!
I have a 48 minute movie created in imovie with lots of audio, clips and transitions. It works perfectly when I preview or play it in iMovie. When I try to share it to iDvd, export to iDvd, or to save it as a Quicktime movie, it looks great for several minutes, then the audio tracks get messed up. The correct audio is there, but overlayed on it is snippets from farther into the project, or whole tracks from later in the project, or places where the audio drops out completely. I spent about 70 hours creating this movie and really want to burn it to DVD so I can play it on the big screen. I did burn one version to dvd, and it looked and sounded great - until the audio problems began... any help would be greatly appreciated.
In Garage Band there is a feature where you can consolidate your bits into one track - should I be doing something in iMovie after I finish it before I export it?

what kind of speed changes do you mean? If you mean using some clips in slo-mo (with the sound dropped out) then yes I used a LOT of them... but they are also working fine for the first several minutes...

Couldn't you have backed it up to the "iCloud"? or some other cloud based storage before you did the upgrade? If you do not back things up before you upgrade your OS, you are only asking for things to go wrong.

    I did some tests.
    1. It appears the problem is not my monitor: I connected my PC to a CRT TV and also viewed the images on a Laptot and the brightness intensity is the same.
    2. I tried to render from AE to a loseless file and then import the loseless file in Premiere for the final render to MPEG2 file, but the final result doesn't change.
    3. I tried to use another program: Sony Vegas Pro 9.0. I imported the MOV into Vegas and started a render to MPEG2 file. The result was the same as in Premiere: too much brightness.
    4. So I went on with the tests and rendered to different formats/codecs. The most decent results I obtained with Lagarith Loseless Codec in Premiere and Sony AVC in Vegas.
But still I'm not satisfied. The image is still a little too bright, which is a problem because I have some granulation issues on the original footage.
I could try to darken the image before starting to render but I would like to find a more "professional" way.
If anyone else has other suggestions they are welcome
Thank you all for the support!

  • Audio shift after rendered

    Dear All,
I am trying to mix together three different audio tracks from a musical production. I can sync the three tracks up without problem so that they play as one during preview, but one of the tracks drops the whole beginning section after it is rendered for added effects and then is in sync again toward the end of the section...about one hour total segment. I have done this a hundred times before with other multi track sequences and never had this happen before! Should I just scrap those audio render files and start over? Any idea of why this happened? Thanks much!

After I render my project when it went to play back the sound had gone, you can still see the audio levels and you can here the sound if you watch the clips in the import section but there is no sound on the actual project. I have checked that it is not muted. And it can't need rendering because I just did that. Any idea how to get the sound back?
    Please help!
    Thank you

    Hi Jessrosem123,
    Welcome to Adobe Forums.
If the audio is there in the project bin and not on the timeline.
Right click on the audio portion on the timeline and click on audio channels and
check if the left and right channels are configured properly. If this does not help right click on the
timeline and choose replace with clip from project bin/source monitor( Provided the duration of the
clip in the project bin and source monitor is the same).

I have created a 43 minute iMovie with very, very heavy editing.
I love my movie, and until recently, it would play back fine within the application.
(but now, not even this works for me anymore.)
When I export the movie in any format, My audio gets all mixed up.. Random audio clips from other parts of the movie are heard with, or substituted during other parts. It is so frustrating after so much hard work.
Is there any way to resolve this problem without having to start from scratch?

Dito! I just worked for months on 45 min movie and the same problem. I have to get this DVD in the hands of someone by the end of the weekend that might be able to change my life and i have made a GRAVE mistake in intrusting it in a MAC
