Audio problems playing games on Pavilion g6

Basically whenever I play certain games it doesnt play sound. But I can listen to iTunes at the same time as playing the game and it will play iTunes music but not the game.
It doesnt seem to like certain games, NBA 2k14 plays well, but with no sound, also so does PES 2014 with no sound.
I thought it was with all games but The Wolf Among Us works well, with sound so its just certain games.
I just want some help.

Hi erenmus. If the sounds works in Windows and iTunes it seems like the sound is functioning properly.
If certain games aren't producing sound, it would be an issue specific to each game. NBA 2k14 seems to have a patch released recently. PES 2014 seems to have a patch or 2 available as well.
Also check the sound settings from within the game itself.
Have you tried the game with HDMI out, or just on the notebook screen? Are you using headphones or notebook speakers?
Also make sure your audio drivers are updated here:

Problems playing games

Hello all,
When I play Doom 3 with my FX5700-VT2DR256, P4 3.0E with 1GB RAM and Samsung 753DFX (1024X768 / 85Hz), the initially games's movie begins normally but when the control of the game will handle to myself my computer blinks and then locks. It seems that it entered in a stand-by mode.
I only return to Windows XP turning the computer off and turning it on again.
What parameters have I set to play this and other games normally.

ps: The Need for Speed Underground have the same problem, but I can play a little before the problem comes, but the problem appears in different parts of the game, but it's the same problem of the doom game.

After you tip I decided to buy another case with 600W of power and two openings, one lateral that direct air in the processor and another superior that serves as exhaust fan, beyond coolers and normal fans of the case and an exhaust fan under of the processor installed before my AGP board, the result was an internal ambient temperature of 26ºC (the Intel recommends maximum 38ºC), but exactly thus, making a simple test in the Word, as typing of a word in looping, the processor arrived 71ºC.
First I got that these line of Intel processors work in a high temperature, the processor that I got have to get the maximum of 69ºC. After I searched in the Intel problems with the processor that I have, and I got an interesting link that tells which motherboard is compatible with its processors. I got in this link that my motherboard, despite the motherboard manufacturer saying that it is compatible, is not homologated by the Intel. The link is:

I am waiting to arrive a motherboard of the MSI (MSI 875P Neo-FISR - PCB 2.0) that is homologated by Intel to restart the tests.

Is anyone having problems playing games on their 4th gen nano?

Honestly, what a joke. I download the game Phase, only after being instructed at the top of the page that it will work fine with my 4th gen ipod. I pay for it and load it on, and the screen is a quarter chopped off. It's moved so far to the right of screen that I can't play it properly.
Anyone had the same issue? Anyone know how to fix it?

Afraid not...plays smooth as butter on my 16 GB nano. Admittedly the controls feel weird having the click wheel on the left/right of the screen instead of below...but its a minor quibble.
You might have an actual problem with your nano. Tried any other games? If they work fine (not the ones that come with the nano, other Click-wheel games from the Store), then you might want to either a) Try removing Phase, syncing, disconnecting, reconnecting and putting Phase back on the iPod, or b) Ask Apple to let you redownload Phase.
Or c) Return the nano for another one. But of course, thats always the last resort if its just a software problem...

Problem playing game since last update

Right after the last software update from Apple, I stopped being able to open Myst V. The game won't start at all. It took a long time to get the game installed on an intel Mac in the first place, because the Ubisoft patch has a bug and the directions for fixing it by hand were not easy to find. So I'm frustrated that now it stopped working again! I tried reinstalling the game (with the repaired patch), with no luck. Is anyone else having this problem? Any tips?

For starters, Try using Disk Utility to do a Disk Repair, as shown in this link, while booted up on your install disk.
You could have some directory corruption. Let us know what errors Disk Utility reports and if DU was able to repair them.
Then Repair Permissions.

Audio Problems - Playing Sound in Windows

I would like to know if this is a bootcamp bug or a setting: I plug a headset into the internal sound jacks and the audio in Windows XP plays through both the internal sound card and headset. I thought when you plug in a headset its only suppose to play through the headset.
Is this a bootcamp bug or something that can be fixed with a setting in Windows. Thanks!!

Does anyone know a way to make the sound work while using windows XP? Ive tried making a new MAC drivers cd for windows, but that didnt work, I also tried downloading audio drivers and none of them worked either. Is anyone else having the same issues? Oh, i also get a message when i startup windows that my motherboard doesnt support the Intel audio hardware? I'm guessing the message has to be a glitch or somethng because ive heard that other people are able to hear sound while using windows just fine.

How to Perform an Archive and Install
An Archive and Install will NOT erase your hard drive, but you must have sufficient free space for a second OS X installation which could be from 3-9 GBs depending upon the version of OS X and selected installation options. The free space requirement is over and above normal free space requirements which should be at least 6-10 GBs. Read all the linked references carefully before proceeding.
1. Be sure to use Disk Utility first to repair the disk before performing the Archive and Install.
Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported, then quit DU and return to the installer.
2. Do not proceed with an Archive and Install if DU reports errors it cannot fix. In that case use Disk Warrior and/or TechTool Pro to repair the hard drive. If neither can repair the drive, then you will have to erase the drive and reinstall from scratch.
3. Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When you reach the screen to select a destination drive click once on the destination drive then click on the Option button. Select the Archive and Install option. You have an option to preserve users and network preferences. Only select this option if you are sure you have no corrupted files in your user accounts. Otherwise leave this option unchecked. Click on the OK button and continue with the OS X Installation.
4. Upon completion of the Archive and Install you will have a Previous System Folder in the root directory. You should retain the PSF until you are sure you do not need to manually transfer any items from the PSF to your newly installed system.
5. After moving any items you want to keep from the PSF you should delete it. You can back it up if you prefer, but you must delete it from the hard drive.
6. You can now download a Combo Updater directly from Apple's download site to update your new system to the desired version as well as install any security or other updates. You can also do this using Software Update.

Problem playing games

Hi,
With some apps (lego Harry potter 1-4 years), after a while, the screen becomes totally black. I can hear only the sound of the game. The only thing I was able to do is to remove it and reload it with loosing all the previous levels alreday reached which is disappointing.

Each user should have their own icloud account, otherwise they end up getting the same emails, contacts, calendars, notes, reminders, etc. - usually not what you want. But if all have been sharing the same itunes ID, keep it that way, you can have different IDs for itunes and icloud.
If you already have another icloud account, and want to set it up on a device, then go to Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account. This only disconnects the device from that account, no data is lost on icloud. Then enter the account ID that you want to use.

Is the new verson fixed to play games on pogo

after i updated firefox about a month ago i had problems playing games on pogo. i had to install an earlier version i want to know if the problem is fixed with the latest version.

I'm on Firefox 7 and it broke several games in Pogo. I also updated Java which didn't fix it either. 2 games especially have problems that I know of 1 Sweet Tooth, 2 World Class Solitaire. There could be more but these I've bumped into after update.

Why do you assume that this problem is a "bug" that Apple has to address, and not a problem with your phone, that you need to address. Do you see others having this specific problem?
Try:
1. Reset phone (no data loss): press both the home and power buttons for at least 10 seconds, releasing when the Apple logo appears

Pavilion 751n audio problem

hi all
im having some audio problems with my pavilion 751n PC. it won't play music or sounds. and when i try to play music it says that theres no deice. also when I go to device manager C-media AC97 Audio device its highlighted in yellow and under device status it says "this device cannot start." I've have fully updated my computer and i tried re-installing the device but nothing works. could someody help me please!!!!!!?

The issue seems to be due corrupt audio drivers.
Try reinstalling the drivers using Application Recovery.You can find the instructions in the website below:

UT 2004 Hardware audio problems, aswell as some other gam

I have an Audigy 9000 (I bought it OEM so all I know is what it tells me in the control panel) and all my drivers are up to date. When in Unreal Tournament 2004 all the music and sound is perfect if I keep it in 3D audio mode but when I Change it to Hardware 3D or HW 3D+EAX it wont play any music and in the intro movie (and the rest of the game) no music plays and alot of the sounds are really quiet while some are rediculously loud. I can play it fine in 3D sound mode but I did not buy a good audio card to replace my integrated 5. sound card just to use the same settings. Does anyone else have this problem and how can I fix it's Also in World of Warcraft no sound comes out during movies and there is no music in the game but all the other sounds play. But UT 2004 is my primary concern, I even tried re-installing it and yes my UT2004 is the latest vers.

Wait and buy a new sound card. Test this first! Install lets say XP and then after your normal soundcard installation "copy" the installed sounddrivers folder for you specific card. Then you paste that folder on a usb drive/cd or another harddrive that you again c/p inside to Vista when thats installed. Check in the device manager for audio and Update that with the drivers from your copied drivers folder from XP if you dont get an automatic driverinstallation. If you do use that guide. Vista will prolly scream that the drivers where'nt checked etc. Skip that mess and just install anyway (on your own risk ofcourse! ) and then reboot the pc. If all goes well as it did for me the sound will now work flawless even if not a specific software that came with the card might do. If this tip didnt work well then its probably time for a total new soundcard that does support Vista 100%. Good Luck!

I know that you aren't suppose too play games on mac. But I bought a iMac 27"
Processor 3,5 GHz Intel Core i7
Minne 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

and I installed wmvare and windows 7 so I could do gameplays for my YouTube channel on PC games. I didn't boot because I were insecure but anyways. I installed wmvare and windows 7 sucesfully but then when I were going too try too run the game Black Ops 2 in steam it poped up a message that told me
"DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error. Check the readme for possible solutions." So I sat for hours trying too understand what the problem was, trying to update DirectX with more. Since I already had the latest DirectX that wasent the problem. And finaly I found the sulution. There were some problem with the grapich card so I needed too upgrade the grapich card. Well ofcourse NIVIDIA didn't have any driver for the GTX 775M grapich card. I checked here https://discussions.apple.com/message/24065327#24065327 and used the link that took me to were I could dowload the drivers. When the dowloading were done and I started the system check after a while it stoped and told me that the NVIDIA installation coulden't go on. Becuase this graphics routine could not find any compatible graphics hardware. So what is the sulution? Because I am not going (I have already put so much money on this) pay more for this too work so as ordering new stuff like a driver, another grapich card or anything lika that I dont want to boot my computer but if I must I perhaps will do it just if I dont need to pay for another windows 7. So I want a awnser were I can and how I can dowload the drivers so that I can play games on my mac for exampel; Black Ops 2, Battelfield 3/4, The Forest, Day Z. Would be greatfull for awnsers that have a sulution!!!!

Okey, so when I was going too boot my computer it works good untill half the way thruh when boot campassistant is going too dowload the latest windows assistant it says "This computer can just do windows 7" then I press next after a few seconds it says "Can't dowload files because the server is busy" (this was just from my memory it may have been somthing else, but it is pretty much what it said). So how do I fix this, the easiest thing too just press a few buttons and choose a ISO image and the it can't even proseed to the pratipation....

GCreative Zen 32GB "There is a problem playing this audio" AACZ All right, this is driving me nuts. I have a Zen 32GB and a Vista 32-bit machine. I have been encountering a lot of problems playing AAC files on my Zen--many of the tracks stop short, and the error message "There is a problem playing this audio" appears.
These are AAC files that I ripped off my own CDs using iTunes, so there are no DRM issues. ? I'm not sure if the problem lies in the actual ripping process (although the problem tracks play on my iPod without problem), the importing into my Zen using Zen Media Explorer, or my Zen trying to play the tracks. I've tried turning off my antivirus program, as well as checking the box in iTunes that double-checks for audio errors after ripping. I thought at first that it could be related to scratched CDs, but it also happens with pristine CDs.
I have latest firmware (.2.03) installed, and also the latest version of Zen Media Explorer.
I've searched this forum as well as Google for this exact error message, and don't get any related hits. Can anyone out there help me? Please?

Thanks for that response--I was beginning to feel a little neglected. It's disappointing, though--one of the reasons I bought the Zen was because it advertised AAC compatibility, so that I could have just one library of AAC files for my iPod and Zen, instead of entirely duplicate libraries of AAC and WMA files. Most of the AAC files I've imported into the Zen play fine--I just have to check all of the tracks to see which ones have that audio error. Usually, if I re-import the track, it comes out fine (eventually).

Shockwave Player is strictly 32-bit only.
Most games on Facebook and Zynga use Flash Player, not Shockwave Player.
Flash Player is 32-bit and 64-bit, but you need to run it on a 64-bit browser.
