Audio problems while watching a downloaded tv show

What would cause Apple TV to lose the audio, but the show continues? I downloaded season 4 of Damages, and watched the first show with no problem. Once I get 1.5 minutes into the 2nd show, the audio goes, but the scenes continue. I've reset, changed audio settings, made sure I'm up to date, unplugged, internet connection says its the highest it can be. I'm at a lose and would love to hear if anyone can help me!

That depends on the source and format of the downloaded show.
If it was purchased from iTunes, then you can simply sync it to your iPod the same way you do with music.
If they came from elsewhere, they must be converted to MPEG4 or H.264 format and then added to your iTunes library in order to sync with your iPod.

FThanks for the quick reply! I have the X-Fi XtremeGamer, I unplugged the rear speakers and plugged headphones into that jack (I'm assuming that the rear speaker output is also know as line out 2), I had CMSS enabled and when I played a music file, I did hear it through the headphones.

it has been a while since we have last spoke, I would like to let you know, I am still working on getting used to the switch from windows to a Mac/Apple system. I do have a new question for you, I did purchase In Design CS5.5 through journeyed.com through Cuyahoga Community College of which I attend as a student, is there a way to purchase an online book through iTunes to learn that as well? Also, you know me, the struggling student, I would also, when and if the book can be purchased through the iTunes, would need to know if you do know of a much easier book for struggling students like myself and at a reasonable price as well for the In Design CS5.5 program. Our campus bookstore had closed early, and, so did the colleges library and our local library here where I do live, so, I cannot go to either place to purchase a book or to take out a book, plus cash funds are low at this moment as well but, I do have money left on the iTunes account to use, if it can be used. So, can it be used, the iTunes money, towards finding a low priced online book? I am in great need of assistance as I have a project due for my one course for this Tuesday, September 4, 2012.

If the TV Show is downloaded on your iPad, you don't need Wi-Fi to watch it.

Delay in watching my downloaded TV show

When I try to watch my downloaded tv show on itunes, there is a delay between the talking and the picture...like a buffering issue? The episode plays fine on my ipod, just not on my computer. ?

not sure if coincidence or the same question, but the same question got asked internally. The seeded option is required to get the OJSP filter installed. Here's the internal response

In web.xml, you need to have mds-ojsp intg enabled to load jspx base + customizations from MDS. In your web project in Jdev, go to ADFv project properties and select “Seeded customization” property. It would enable mds-jsp engine configuration in web.xml. If you want to use user personalization feature at runtime, you would need to select “User customization” property as well which would enable ADFv change persistence config in web.xml.
Warning: Some of the metadata under ... is packaged as part of both WAR and MAR. This metadata cannot be accessed from WAR using MDS.
For these two packages, you are including the files in both WAR & MAR. This warning conveys that since these base files are being put in MAR, at runtime they would be read from mds repository & not from WAR.

Error 403 while trying to download TV shows

I can download music fine but have been unsuccessful downloading any tv shows/video from the store. The error message is "Problem with download error 403". I have tried at work and at home via wireless network and get the same answer.

Volume problem while watching videos

Flash player 11.8.800.94, Windows 7 (64-bit), Internet Explorer 10.
Updated to the latest version of flash player, my volume is way too low while watching a video on youtube for example, same problem with twitch.tv, dailymotion.com etc
I have to tune up the volume of my speakers nearly to the max if I want to hear anything from the video, when I uninstall flash player, the volume is normal again, equal to my standard volume of my pc.
I reinstalled the flash player but the problem remains.
I also did everything for IE 10 http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-games-video-or.html#main_Flash_Player_ information
Is there any solution to this problem?

Problems while watching Dvds

I have bought a 32 Hl833 10 days ago
-- everything is alright while watching the regular Tv channels
-- the problems is when I am watching Dvd movies on my Dvd device
-- Dvd device is connected with TV with Scart
(P.S., I am from the eastern Europe)
-- now, the trick is that for unknown reason, while I am watching Dvd device, my Tv is constantly "losing the contact" with device, or like he is trying to identify the device over and over again
-- in reality it means that I am watching a movie, and the Tv is "refreshing" the connection with Dvd device like every 30-120 seconds
-- to describe it better, it feels like:
= you are on the channel for Dvd (output channel 1 or however it is called) and watching a movie, and every 30-60 seconds you get the black screen (the same like when you are switching between channels with your remote controller)
-- so, you know the feeling when you are on Channel 2 and then you click Channel 3 on your remote, and then from the channel 2 you will see the black screen for a few moments and after that you will be redirected to a channel 3
-- and on the top of the screen, you will see the Info, like: Channel 3 in the left top corner and the clock in the right top corner
-- so, while I am on the Dvd channel, it basically feels like the TV is constantly switching channels (without me doing that)
-- but that switching feels like constantly refreshing the same channel over and over again
-- and while watching a movie, it is extremely dumb and annoying
-- you are watching it, and every 30 seconds, you lose the picture for 1-2 seconds, you see the black screen, and then you are on your channel again, and you constantly see the info (number of channel, clock and date on top of the screen)
** It never happens while watching the regular Tv channels
-- so, there is a some problem in connection/compatibility of Dvd device and my Tv, I guess
-- also, sometimes it happens that this problem doesn't happen for 90-120 Minutes at all (or once in the whole movie), and on the other days (this evening again), you get this problem every 30 seconds and it is basically impossible to watch the Dvd
-- I tried to turn off both my Tv, Dvd device, checked all (Scart) connections 20 times
-- problems is still here
** also, if it happens, it seems that my remote controllers for a Dvd device and a Tv controller have very similar codes
-- for example, I press the Up button on Dvd remote controller, and my Tv suddenly switches to a channel 7 on my Tv :/
-- so, Up button on Dvd device has the same meaning/code as the button for channel 7 on my Tv :/

Oh, sorry, I didn't know that this is only for Us models
Anyway, I asked some friends of mine for the advice, and they advised my to try with a new scart cable
I have bought a brand new cable, and it seems that it works good now
(Even though on the old TV, even the old cable was "good", but nevermind)
Anyway, I think I have solved the problem and it seems that the problem was connected with the cable and not the Tv

Problem while trying to download files- Fatal error message

I have just bought a copy of photoshop cs3. Got a deal on it so couldnt refuse.
The problem I have is while trying to download pictures off my memory card. I put them into the card reader and when I went to advanced settings it came up with an error message which would then close the upload box when clicked ok.
This same message appeared when I didnt choose advanced settings and started to download pics.
I checked that some have downloaded but stopped once the error message appeared.

I normally use the canon downloader and download the pics straight from the camera.
The cardreader works fine with the memory card as it has worked fine everytime in the past.
I thought there may be some settings that need to be changed somewhere for adobe bridge downloader to work correctly.

My watched and downloaded tv shows still appear on my iPad, not on my computer. how do i delete them from the iPad. They don't take up storage, but the titles are there and they have links to the cloud

How can I delete watched and unwanted TV shows from my ipad. They don't show on my mac, they don't show up in the useage tab. But when I click on videos, the tv shows show up with links to the cloud. How can I delete?

The question is not only how to to hide them, but also how to mark them as watched!

Audio problems while playing videos from superdrive

Hi, i've got a macbook pro with leopard and a bootcamp partition with windows xp.
When i play videos (divx or dvds) from my superdrive under windows, i have audio problems (like noise), but the same videos are fine in leopard or if i play them from another storage, for example from usb.
Perhaps it's a problem with last bootcamp drivers..or maybe there is something wrong with my superdrive. i remember this wasnt an issue when i bought my mac (less then a year ago).

I had a video file that I had to convert for my iPod & iPhone, after doing so, only a white video screen and just the audio.
What the heck is going on? it seems like a few people are having this problem!

Authenticating Proxy problem? Can't download TV show, view account

I'm using iTunes 8.0.1 (12) on OS X 10.5.5 on a 1GHz mini. This evening I am unable to download a TV show for which I have a season pass, nor can I view my account information. Requests like "CONNECT p8-buy.itunes.apple.com:443 HTTP/1.1" clearly get to my proxy, which sends a "HTTP/1.0 407 Proxy Authentication Required" response, which iTunes is ignoring.
Now, here's the crazy bit. When I quit iTunes and reload it and head into the store, it requests my proxy credentials, which I give it. I can move around in the shop, I even started watching a free video podcast. But the show and the account are non-functional.
Anybody else seeing this? Anybody else using iTunes through a proxy that requires authentication and not seeing this? Any general suggestions?

Been playing with this more, it's still unresolved.
I also tried adding my proxy username and password into the Network -> Advanced -> Proxies page manually, and permitting iTunes to always be permitted to use the credentials. Doesn't help.

The only striking thing about this is that the first attempt when using the CONNECT method is that the first request is to a hostname like p2-buy.itunes.apple.com, followed by a request to the more generic hostname buy.itunes.apple.com. But after attempting to get to p4-buy.itunes.apple.com without including authentication information, no further queries are made.

Fan problem while watching youtube

my fan starts turning really fast - around 6000rpm - whenever i access a website like youtube which has flash content in it. why is this, and how can i solve it?

If you had written down the fan RPM, %CPU usage of the top using processes, and the Video you are viewing, including the browser you are using, and then if your friends would do the same then you would have useful information that we could use to determine whether you have a software problem such as a runaway app or whether you have a hardware problem such as restricted airflow or a discontinuous heat sink. the software problem is fixable without sending your MacBook away. A hardware problem very likely is not. It would be very useful to know which it is.
Without these numbers everything is nothing but a guess. We know almost nothing. For instance, if their CPU percentage is the same as yours, and they are running the same apps and watching the same video BUT their fan speed and temperature both are lower than your then it suggests that your computer is not cooling as well as their when the load is the same. This means you have an airflow restriction OR a poorly functioning heat sink on the CPU or other chip.
On the other hand, If their CPU% usage is much lower than yours while doing the exact same tasks then this means you have a software issue, NOT a hardware issue and it should be fairly easy to solve. but without these numbers, like I say, you can only guess what your problem is.
