Audio spikes in right channel while using "reduce noise" function.

When I go to Process>Reduce Noise, the audio gets REALLY loud in the right channel when the dialog box comes up. This has happened to me on different computers, while editing different files. Any suggestions? Click here for screen caps.

Which operating system are you using?
In photoshop elements 6, as far as i know, you can only change the Reference Point Location for transforms using the small grid in the left hand corner of the tool options bar with Transform enabled.

Audio only through right channel

I get audio mainly through the right channel and in order to get it through the left channel I have to lift the jack. It's been this way since I bought it. I don't know what to do to fix it.

I am getting audio from the right channel only my iPad and it is distorted with static. How can I resolve this problem?

There is no adjustment as the iPad 2 speaker is on the right side only.

How to select left or right channel while playing video in QuickTime X?

I have recorded a TV movie with EyeTV and exported it to Apple TV format (M4v). In Germany often stereo movies have original soundtrack on right channel (e.g. English) and German soundtrack on left channel. With QuickTime 7 it was no problem to select the channels for playback. But with QuickTime X I cannot find this possibility anymore. Does anyone know how to select one of the stereo channels for playback? You can imagine that wihil playing German and English simultanously you cannot understand a word at all.

Thanks, but I actually do not want to remove a channel permanently, because I sometimes want to listen to the original English version and sometimes to the German version. But as it seems QuickTime X does not have the simple playback option to select a special channel, is this right? This is sad as I really like the features and the look of QuickTime X. It is not very comfortable to switch between two players just for the need of a channel selection. I hope that Apple will give us some more basic playback comfort in a version to come.

Communication Channel while using a BPM

Hi All,
I've created a BPM which implements a sync-async bridge. I'm trying to use an HTTP service to send a sync message to this BPM and receive a response. While configuring in the integration directory, i created a business service representing the HTTP client and a HTTP communication channel. But when i create the receiver determination it is asking for a communication channel. But since the receiver is a BPM, there are no communication channels. What should be done in this case.
Also my understanding of this process is:
HTTP client sends an XML to the BPM. The BPM routes the data to the bridge and again send it back to the HTTP client as a response. Is it possible to achieve this.

I shall explain my actual scenario.
1. One HTTP client(or any synchronous interface) sends an XML payload to XI.
2. XI should map this XML to another fomat and create a file.
3. Once the file is created, a response should be sent back to the HTTP client.
So the sending interface(HTTP Client) is a synchronous one. Because it sends the XML and waits for the response(File creation status)
And the file creation is done using a File Adapter and it is an asynchronous process.
I hope the sync-async would be the best design in this scenario. Please share your thoughts

Audio/Video Out of Sync While Using Media Manager

While viewing most video files through Media Manager, the audio is a fraction behind the video. It is not significant but it is noticeable. I have looked at the Media Manager sticky but the posts are on all different areas where the Media Manager is flawed.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to correct this issue? I may just go back to using my original set-up. It's very surprising how bad this application is. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi mhiggins8450, I just read your post about the trouble you're having with the Media Manager. Have you had this problem since installing the software or has this issue just started recently? If it's been a problem since the beginning, you may want to look at removing the software and reinstalling a fresh copy. The newest version can be found at:

If it's a problem that just started happening, you may want to try and reset the units. The best way to do this would be to power down your PC, unplug the router and unplug your STB. Leave everything unplugged for five minutes. From this point, plug the router back in and wait for it to boot up (the Internet light will go GREEN when it's complete). Now plug the STB back in and wait for the time to display on the front of the box. Now turn your PC back on. Test the Media Manager and see what happens.

Chromium no audio in some html5 videos while using pulseaudio

Hi all,
I'm having problems with some html5 videos with chromium (firefox, dwb and qupzilla works perfect)
eg. no sound from https://vine.co/v/htbdjZAPrAX (I've clicked unmute button on video) using chromium but I get sound when I run it with both dwb and qupzilla.
If I kill pulseaudio and restart chromium I get sound from these videos. (ALSA)
Any ideas?

32-Bit Audio Unit Bridge quit unexpectedly while using the Kore2 plugin

This is the message I get when closing a project that uses the NI 32bit Kore 2 plugin running 64bit Logic 9.1 - the project does manage to save though. I guess this is the same for everyone - or is it just my machine? Logic hangs afterwards - I have to force quit.
I hadn't given it any thought but I was amazed to note none of the NI stuff is 64bit yet (my NI library is fairly extensive).

Native Instruments' products are currently not available in 64-bit AudioUnit format, and are also not fully compatible with the 32-bit "plugin bridge" of the latest Logic and Mainstage versions.
It is therefore recommended for users of NI products to use the 32-bit mode of Logic 9.1 and Mainstage 2.1

Error while using the validate function in SwitchExec

I have created a Route in SwitchExec for connecting channels COM0 and COM1 for a particular switch in SwitchExec. I get the error: (Hex 0xBFFA0001) Instrument error detected.
The same connection works fine when run directly through the LabWindows/CVI function panel.
Has anyone faced a similar problem?

This error comes from the instrument driver, not switch executive. If this is a driver you developed, I suggest debugging the driver using the simple application that does the same thing as the validation process:
- open niSE session
loop through all routes
- connect route
- disconnect route
end loop
loop through all route groups
- connect route group
- disconnect route group
end loop
- close niSE session
You can write this application in CVI, and use the debug version of your driver which I presume is written in CVI. That way you can step through your driver's SetPath function (which is called from NI Switch Executive) and see why it fails with the 0xbffa0001 error.
You can also reuse existing NI Switch Executive sample programs in C
VI to reproduce the problem you were seeing in the validator.
If the driver is provided by a third party, and you have the source code for it, you can try the same procedure as above, and then either fix the driver yourself or inform the original developers about the problem.
If the driver did not come with a source code, then contact the company that provided the driver with the way to reproduce a problem.
For future reference, when you run into a problem that looks like it is coming from the specific driver (which was the case here) it would help if you also mentioned which driver did you use.

Mapping issues while using MapwithDefault Node function for Idoc

We are facing issues while trying to generate nodes at reciver side even though it does not exist at sender side.
we are using the matmas05 and we want the nodes E1marcm and e1mardm to generated at target structure.
the structure is like this

How can I have keyframes on one layer proceed while using the gotoAndStop function?

I have a Flash presentation that allows me to pair videos with the slides using a nice piece of ActionScript. The presentation advances to the slide on the next keyfram when the viweer clicks the "next button" and the video for that keyframe (on a separate layer) begins playing.
owever, I am now trying to pair two slides with the same video without having the video restart or requiring the viewer to click the"next slide button" I was hoping I could just turn the two slides into a video clip, convert it into a symbol and insert the symbol in place of the static slide, but nothing seems to happen. I'm wondering if the "gotoAndStop" function in the ActionScript is preventing it from playing.
Any thoughts on how I can have the presentation be controlled by the next and previous buttons most of the time, but have the exception of one slide that changes on its own? The relevant (I believe) code is below.

Error while using user defined function in reports

Hi,
When I use the below user defined function in oracle reports I got the wrong number of arguments error
select test_function(id,a_number,v_date-14,b_number) from dual;
If I remove -14 from the argument it works. But iIneed to subtract 14 days from the date.

you have to give the command like this to_date(v_date,'dd-mon-yyyy')-14
because the v_Date you choose in the parameter form is not having the corrent date format
the format dd-mon-yyyy is the format in which v_date is passed by the user.
