Exiting CPTX did not reset either.

Please, could you give more details? Just guessing: when you preview, play the slide you do not hear audio? In that case check the small audio icon on the Timeline, maybe you clicked it and it got muted? And with Preview you point to the other Preview modes (like project, in webbrowser, next 5 slides) when a temporary SWF is generated. Since audio plays there, it must be the small audio button that has been clicked.

In Firefox 4 and newer versions, the Go, Stop and Reload buttons are combined in one button at the right end of the URL or Address bar. The button changes depending on the activity:
*green Go arrow when typing in the address bar
*red Stop ("X") button while page is loading
*gray Reload (circular arrow) when page is finished loading.

Are your tracks pat of a collection? Different artists, but still one album? Then mark them a s acollection or set the album artist. See this guide on how to group separate tracks into albums:

it sounds like you were using iCloud. Go under Settings > iCloud and make sure the switch for Notes is ON (green side showing). If it's already on, turn it off, wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on. Your notes should sync up.

iMovie ’11 is not programmed to come with all Macs — it didn’t come with my Mid 2010 MacBook Pro.
Presuming that your Mac is newer than mine, have you checked to see if you can download iMovie ’11 gratis from the Mac App Store?

It sounds like you are unable to find the Settings app to configure your device.
First I would try searching the device using Spotlight.
You can also use Spotlight Search to find and open apps.
Choose which apps and content are searched. Go to Settings > General > Spotlight Search. You can also change the search order.

If you are unable to locate it there, I would attempt backing up your device to iTunes, then restore your device.

You can also turn OFF Split Keyboard

I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

It sounds like you may have either set the iPhone up as a new iPhone or restored from a backup that didn’t have your messages on it. If you do have either an iCloud or iTunes backup that you believe has your messages saved, you can restore from that backup to recover your information. Check to see that Settings > General > Keyboard > Predictive is turned ON.
