Audio stuck to Video!!

Question

Hi All,
I've been using Logic with video for years and have never had this problem before.
When I import the video, the audio can still be heard, without going throught the usual "im[ort audio from video" process.
What's weirder is that the waveform is non existent. It's like it's a ghost!!
I've re-imported the video as both .dv and .mov a number of times and it's still there.
Can someone find the ghost for me, need this done in 2 days.

Yeah. I didn't know until last weekend there's so many ways to import quicktime movies into Logic. Some of them give the automatic option to import audio from movie into arrange... others you need to do manually.
Then, aside from other things, I learned how you can set the movie volume in Logic' project settings here -
Settings : Video (Movie Volume)
It controls the same slider you use in the Quicktime video window, but is more precise.
tbirds method is useful if you definitely don't want the movie audio at all, but no good if you simply don't need to monitor it in Logic but want to export your score over the top of the movie and include the original audio track too.
