Audio tag not support some .wav files

i use <audio> tag to play .wav files.
it is working right in Chrome and old Firefox,
in firefox 16.0.1, some of these .wav files can not play. error message is: 媒体资源.....无法被解码

It is possible that the .wav files are encoded in an unsupported format: Media resources ..... can not be decoded.
Maybe try to recode the files if you use some kind of compression format.

I have succesfully creating a training app using the app packager for IOS (and to a certain extent android), however when you start the app a message starts up saying :"This browser does not support some of the content in the file you are trying to view. Use IE 9 or later, Safari 5.1 or later etc. " The interesting thing is that I am using the latest versions of both safari and chrome?
I checked out the javascript and and althouth there is an "if then" test, clearly it is not testing correctly. Has someone got a fix for this e.g. modifications to the code to make it work?

Why can't I manually fill in info for some WAV files?

I've been importing wave files into itunes and filling in the artist info manually, one cd/playlist at time, with the intent of later converting the entire library to apple lossless. I need to do it this way because importing one CD at a time, I select the whole thing, and then fill in the info for the entire selection at once. If I import a bunch of files first I get a huge disorganized mess because there is no "tag" info. The problem is that, for some reason, artist info entered manually for some WAV files "won't take" but if I change to apple lossless first it will. Can anyone suggest a reason for this inconsistant behavior in the iTunes program?

WAV files don't have ID3 tags, which hold a lot of the song info.

I guess the question is, (I haven't found any documentation on it). What are the restriction to the size of an application that can be deployed in the OAS server.
I had heard that there was a bug that prevented apps of over 500meg from being deployed, but this is only 159meg.
Or are parameters to the java command line start up that will allow this app to be loaded?
Or alternately, where would I find specifications or parameters recommended for OAS standalone server startup?

Suitcase 11.0.5.1
The troubleshooting I have done so far:
Updated Suitcase.
Reset suitcase, deleted font caches, re-synced with server.
Updated InDesign.
Deleted and reset InDesign preference files.
Re-saved the problematic documents by selecting 'Save As.'
Finally, I copied and pasted the text and graphics into a new document which seamed to work for a few minutes but then I was back to the same problem of not being able to edit the size of the text etc

I have been working on a very large project using CS5 on my desktop computer. Now I am on the road and bought a laptop so that I can continue to work. I placed all of my assets on a back-up external 2tb drive (which I was able to open without incident on my desktop). I installed CS5 on my new laptop and now when I try to open the project I get the following message "The selected file cannot be linked because its type (audio) does not match the original file's type (audio and video)". This message appears before I indicate the path to any of the assets. Then, when I do indicate the path to each asset, I get the same message for individual files.
Any advice is appreciated.

I had this problem and have found a solution / workaround: my issue was when trying to open a cs5 project that had been collected on mac and then transfered to pc, my footage was all png image sequences but this will hopefully work in other situations...
Open the project and cancel the first dialogue box that pops up where you get the "file cannot be linked" error when trying to reconnect footage. The project will open and then in the project panel, right click on any footage that needs reconnected and choose "Replace footage..." this will open a dialog that will allow you to select the file that gave you the error in the first place without any issues. Any sequences with that footage will now work and everything show be all good.
You may experience "Offline material is present in this export and will be encoded using the offline media graphic" on first export but apparently you can just ingore that, but i guess it's woth testing a few short sections before commiting to a huge render...
This workaround isn't perfect as i had about 50 pieces of footage i had to relink via this method one by one but at least it saved redoing the edit which was critical for my project...

Stereo Mix Audio format not supported?

I'm pretty new at streaming, and i need help with my audio setup, I'm selecting Stereo Mix from the dropdown menu in the FMLE 3.2 but when i do it says.
"Audio format not supported."
"Audio format provided by audio capture device is not supported by this application."
I don't really understand why, since my mic device is supported. Why does this occur?
And how can I fix it?
I have a motherboard soundcard "VIA HD".
EDIT: I figured out why it doesn't work.
I went to the Recording devices menu to check the options but I noticed that Stereo Mix was "Currently unavailable" I figured maybe a program was using it but I don't know how to check what programs use the device.

I have noticed something else which is weird : the recording device is ALWAYS called "Line 1".
I tried renaming both the VAC playback and record devices Line 1 to other names, FMLE still displays "Line 1". This makes no sense (and Audacity sure doesn't behave that way, I have checked).
Should I need to make a complete uninstallation to wipe old FMLE settings ?

N900 Cannot play media - Audio Codec not supported

I'm trying to play a radio station on the N900 internet radio but I get the message that the media cannot be played, audio codec not supported. I was able to play the same station on my old N96 and other stations work on the N900.
Is there something I need to download to sort this out?

HTML 5 audio tag not working in FF

I am developing a website in asp.net and html 5 and trying to add some audio to the site.
My site is:

It is, currently, a very simple set up, just the one song. It works fine in Chrome and Safari, IE does not support the Audio tag and the message appears where it is supposed to, however, Firefox does not display the error message or play the audio file.
I started using FF 3.6.10 and have now upgraded to FF 4 Beta 6 and neither version works.
Any advice as to how to fix this?
I also had a look on other forums and found others with the same problem: http://www.manifestmusicproductions.com/soundsNonflash.php for example, works in Chrome/Safari but not in FF.

my html was fine. in fact the server nginx was returning the wrong content-type and so i had to add the MIME types into my nginx config file.

The ans is Audition (& Cool Edit before) has very impressive BWF capabilities.
But with some MASSIVE fundamental & fatal flaw problems
So good but sooooo missing some vital aspects,
Adobe are so close to having an app the Film/TV post community could use & love ( just like loads of people keep using "Photoshop" as the best 2D graphics app, no matter they maybe principally working in 3D; it is a crying shame the fact Adobe have bought this "gem" and don't it seems realize Audition is for sure the Photoshop for Audio. IMO nothing comes close, Audition is the ultimate Audio editor (and in no way bad, well pretty good, as a multi-track).

P2 Audio render & replace yields mono .wav file

I import some P2 footage (shot with an HVX200) and use the source channel mappings
to map audio channels 1 and 2 to stereo and disable channels 3 and 4. My sequence
uses the DVCPROHD P2 720p preset with the frame rate set to 29.92 fps. I
then place a clip into the sequence. Because of the source channel mapping a
new stereo audio track is automatically created (Audio 5) and the audio from the
clip goes into Audio 5, not Audio 1 through 4 (because they are mono).
All is good so far and I can edit and export to my hearts content.
However, I recently wanted to use Soundbooth to make some adjustments to the
audio. When I right click and select Edit in Soundbooth, Render and Replace I
end up with a mono clip in Soundbooth. Also the rendered clip that Premiere
adds to the project has only a left channel. However, the sequence itself
seems to still have a stereo clip as evidenced by viewing the clip in the
source monitor. I cannot figure out how to get Premiere to render a stereo .wav
file with both left and right source channels and pump it out to Soundbooth.

Welcome to the forum.
Since this is PrPro CS4.1, it should have been posted to the Premiere Pro sub-forum, as this one is for Premiere, prior to Pro. This is a new change in the forum structure, and all of us are still working through it.
Now, let's see if we can get you to editing.
Does the Audio Track, AT 5, have the stereo speaker icons, or just a single speaker icon? From your description, it should be the stereo speaker icon. You can also go into Audio Mixer and check out the signal, or Dbl-click on the Audio Clip to view it in the Source Monitor.
Since Edit in SB is not doing what you and I think it should do, I'd bypass that, and just do an Export>Audio Only through AME (Adobe Media Encoder), as a PCM/WAV file. Open that in SB and edit, as is required. Do a Save_As (keeping your original Export file for safety) and then Import that edited Audio file into PrPro. Place it as is required on the proper type of Audio Track. Go to Audio Mixer and just Mute the old Audio Track. That should handle it fine.
If you do have a mono file, you can create a dual-mono (not exactly the same as a stereo file, but similar), with Fill-Left, or Fill-Right. Still, from your description, you should have a stereo file and why SB is not seeing it as such is puzzling. Still, if you can get to editing, you can probably sort that part out, when you have time.

I need to capture streaming audio and save to a wav file

I need to be able to capture an audio stream delivered via ethernet using UDP protocol and then save to a wav file.
I currently can capture the data stream but do not know how to format the data to save it to a file. Our format is 16KS/s, 16bit, PCM, no compression.

Did you do the thing about searching in the example database. Let us use that as base for discussion. Those who put in some effort will be rewarded. Also check out the AU file format http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Au_file_format As it is big-endian http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big-endian the numbers can be stored as is in Labview. Must players,matlab, etc can use the AU file format.
Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
(Sorry no Labview "brag list" so far)
