Audio to my Digital TV (Pandora Radio App)

I plug my iPhone into my digital TV to watch movies and hear music that I have stored under the "iPod" app. [on my iPhone]. I can see and hear the movies (etc.), and everything is fine with the iPod app. BUT, when I try to listen to the "Pandora Radio" app. from my iPhone -- through my TV -- IT DOES NOT WORK. The TV shows a blank screen, and the TV says that it can not find a signal...
WHY??? Can anyone help me? Thank you very much.

I am just a user like you. I don't have any inside information on whether Apple will allow internet applications to ever display through an external monitor.

I don't believe that would be possible for any developer to create. iOS sandboxes apps from each other, so an app would probably have to include a player for Pandora within itself rather than trying to launch another app. I don't see any such apps in the iTunes Store, ones that include Pandora access with an alarm clock function, but I could easily have missed something.

Pandora Radio problem on 3G iphone 2.0

I d/l the Pandora radio app yesterday and it played fine for awhile. Then last night up until today everytime I try to listen to it, the songs will play for like 4 seconds, then cutout for a second, then come back in and play for another 4 seconds before this repeats over and over again. Its like a skipping record. The phone is on wi-fi or 3G during this time so I dont know what the problem would be. Should I delete the app and then reinstall it or wont that help? Anyone have this problem too???

Well, it doesnt show that an update is available for it, when I downloaded it yesterday for the 1st time it said it was the version 1.1, the most current. Should I re-download it or something?
I like AOL radio too, I just like Pandora to listen to certain bands that never seem to play on AOL radio...

What "says it is open"? Do you mean that there is an "open" button for the app in the App store? That means you can click the button to open the app. (That is, "open" is a verb in this case.)
As to where the icon resides currently, I cannot tell from here. It would have gone on some home page that had room for it.

Why don't use iTunes? Because this just needs to many handling in order to get it where i want it (in general, this whole idea of doing everything online just works likes... ). An app is easier (that's why it is invented).

Playing internet radio app on 4S over MB audio system

I have an iPhone 4S and ran an internet radio app on it. Then I connected the phone with the ausio system of my 2011 MB E550. For about 2 seconds I could hear the radio station over the car speakers but then the phone switched to the ipod app. I could not switch back to the radio app neither was I able to stop the playing song on the phone since the desplay would not allow me to actually go into the ipod app while connected to the car audio system.
Why is this and is there a way to make the phone play the internet radio station?
The fact that I heard the radio station for about 2 seconds tells me that it generally is possible but then there must be something in the iphone software which makes it flip to the ipod. Can this be bridged without sacrificing the phone's warranty?

I'm not saying that this is your problem but it could potentially be and needs to be corrected. After making the corrections as stated below test and let us know if things improve.
If your DHCP range is 2 to 254 that means the whole range of addresses can be assigned to dynamically. This can cause problems because you haven't left any addresses available to be assigned statically. You will notice that addresses 90 and 100 are within that range.
Set the DHCP range to 250 to 254. That reserves an range of 50 addresses for use by the DHCP. You don't need to make any changes to the IP addresses of the PC or Express as their addresses will now fall outside the range reserved for DHCP.

Using radio apps

I have an ipod connector in my car and I when I connect the iphone it says that it is not compatible and can weaken signal. It's a BMW and supposedly it was made for the iphone. I know, I have to call BMW. But I have another question.
When I connect it, it acts like an ipod and will play the music. Is there a way I can connect it and play the radio like I heart or pandora, do you know what I mean? I know that I can do it without plugging in the ipod connector and just hook up the audio, but then it won't charge and the battery will run out.
Does anyone out there know how to use the feature with a car that has an ipod connecter? This came with the car at factory. It is not an aftermarket product.

IHeartRadio and TuneIn radio app work fine.
Look next to the volume slider in the app for the AirPlay icon.

After foolishly loading a desktop feature for "PANDORA RADIO" I now cannot use fIREFOX. The screen only goes to "PANDORA" and is unusable......How do I get rid of "PANDORA"?

Upon trying to open FIREFOX, the screen displays a blue PANDORA RADIO radio screen and does nothing else and I cannot use my FIREFOX. This the rusult of ADD-on for my google home page. I am assuming that this is some kind of virus or malware that came in with the "PANDORA" add-on...the result is that I can't use firefox anymore???????

The problem has been resolved for me. I am a little fuzzy on how it got fixed.
I only have 3G, so I think I went to the library to use wi-fi.
I think I just deleted the stuck apps, and the downloaded them again. You do not have to pay again when you download a previously purchased app.
It is now August, and fortunately I have not had any stuck apps lately.
As you may already know, you cannot download an app over 20 MB via 3G.
I have the Kindle app also. No new updates lately. I only bought one thing using Kindle. It was a guide to iPad that was only $1.99 or so, but it did not really have anything that cannot be found in normal free Apple guide.
I have borrowed an ebook from the library using Overdrive app. You can choose the ebook version from Kindle.
I don't have any weather apps.

FM transmitter and Pandora Radio

I know that the FM transmitter is intended to work with the iPod on the iPhone but will the FM transmitter work with apps such as Pandora Radio so that I may listen in the car without the use of headphones.

I assume you're trying to download from the App Store, right? This is the only way it can be installed on your iPad. What is the exact error message you're getting?
Try rebooting your iPad and attempting to download Pandora again:
To reboot your iPad, hold down the sleep/wake button and the home button simultaneously until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears. If, during this process, a slider appears on the screen to power it off, ignore it and keep holding the buttons down.

I have the Jabra Cruiser and love it. The battery seems to last forever before needing to be charged. The forward and reverse track buttons don't work with the iPhone's but this is Apple's fault not Jabra's but the Pause button does work. You should be able to pick one up pretty cheap on e-bay or Amazon to give it a try. It's FM transmitter works as good or better than most FM iPod/iPhone transmitters.

Yes, listening to Pandora through headphones is no different than listing to any other music/audio through headphones. When you plug them in your speaker should automatically turn off. Perhaps there is something wrong with your headphone sensor; try blowing on the opening to see if there is dust/debris getting in the way of its operation. Sometimes plugging and unplugging your headphone jack multiple times will clear it as well. If the problem persists take your phone to the Apple store and have them take a look at it. It should still be under warranty.

Not enough information with regard to what you have tried. Can you download other Apps, but not Pandora Radio? What happens specifically when you try to download this App?
