Audit report to check who has accessed the dsahboard

Hi All,
We have a dashboard (Xcelsius swf file) published in infoview.
This dashboard is used by end user community ,now we as administrator wanted to check who all are accessing this dashboard with date and time of usage.
Is it possible to generate any such audit report based on u201CActivityu201D universe so that we can have information about dashboard usage.

Hi,
Does audit database capture activity like opening/retrieving a file(regardless of file type) from server. I know its possible to determine who has opened a webi or crsytal report.
Can I check same for dashboards?
Will really appreciate any advice here.

assigned any privilege
to someone as an Editor. If so, he/she would be able to change, edit or delete meeting requests. You may enable auditing for such changes that will help you to check the changes such as,

Can someone tell, how to check who has approved the PO or PR?

Go to PO display ME23N go to enviornment data and see for header changes here you can see the person who has release the PO at what dat with time, user id and T-code used for release.
Else if version management is activated in your client then check at the version tab at the header level of PO here also you will find the required details.
For PR you can check the item details.

Report all user who has access to * infotypes

Hi guys,
im loking for a report that show me wich users has access to infotypes.
right now i need to go to su01 then clic on roles, then clic on a especific role and then in display role authorizations, there i can see human resources, personal data and infotipe with *.
and i need to know all the users that have access to all infotypes or an especific one.
any ideas?

There are a lot of auth objects in the HR area....
My advice would be to pick the main ones and search with pattern '#**' for the infotype field to see what you get.
But other fields are also relevant. In HR you need to know the data, and not just the coding and the customizing (SPRO) and the authority (PFCG).
Talk to your functional folks and the HR system support. They will be able to help you more than we can, most likely.

How do I get a list of the reports that a user has access to?

I need to be able to determine which reports a specified user has access to. This is for an application where users will be able to search and view reports that have been archived through a separate process. I've searched through the developer library, but I can't find this specific information. Can I use the ObjectPrinicpals class to get this info?Thanks!-Dell

Yes, the presentation went well.Â It was a lot of fun to do and I had a great time at the conference.
Your suggestion works great if I'm walking down through the reports looking to see who has access to them.Â
However, I need to do this starting from the User object.Â When I use the ObjectPrincipals of the User, I get a list of the users who have the rights to modify the user.Â I did a lot of work on this last week andÂ it boils down toÂ I'm going to have to actually log in as the user (I can use trusted authentication to do this without having the user's password) and then run a query to select all of the reports in the system - this should give me just the reports that the user has access to.Â Not the most efficient way to get the data from my perspective, but it should work.
This would be a great feature to have added to future versions of the SDK.Â I need it for a couple of purposes:
1.Â To gather information to set up the security in my archive viewer application.
2.Â For auditing purposes - we currently have only Professional licenses so I don't have access to the internal auditing functionality.Â Plus, I'm not sure that that includes the kind of info I'm looking for so I'm building an app that extracts information to XML which is then used by a couple of reports so that I can provide the audit info as needed.

How to get the list of users who has access for list of tcodes.

Go to transaction SUIM, this has a number of reports for users/authorisations
open the Where used>Autorization Values>In Users
and double click to execute
in authorisation object, enter S_TCODE
then press the "Enter Values" button
It will offer entry boxes to put the transaction code you are interesed in.
Then execute and the list of users with access to this transaciton code will be returned.

Folders/reports and who has access

I want to create a report/export of all folder and reports that are in the folders. And who has access to them. Is there a way? Do I need a SDK program if so does anyone have a program that does this?

I did not get your question clearly but here is the answer on the base of my understanding.
Are you trying to schedule a report or reports?
If you are trying to schedule multiple reports at the same time it is not possible. You will have to schedule one by one. (If I am wrong let me know)
Are you trying to give access to a folder or folders?
Are you trying to export folders... Such as from one environment to other?
Yes it is possible. You can use Life Cycle Manager to do this.

Hello Praveen,
You can find the user info from the trace files which are located in usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS<SysNo.>/j2ee/cluster/server0/log/ subfolders.
Try to extract the info from the Tracefiles.
Again if you have the Logviewer configured then you might be able to find the same info there too.

You can't do it in pure Java.

Who has changed the Custom Field value?

Dears,
Need to know the information regarding how to fetch that who has changed the Custom field value from PWA/MPP.
Example:
There is a PDP (say ProjectInfo):
There is a Custom Field added to that PDP (say Project Status = In Progress).
Now for ProjectA, someone has checked out and changed the Custom Field "Project Status" from "In Progress" to "Closed".
I need to fetch the information regarding who has changed that Custom field.
In which direction should I move: Event Handlers, PSI???? Any other stuff?

I'm not a developer but I do know that you can use an event handler pushing the resource name and date in custom fields.
Another way is to use a 3rd-party tool like
FluentPro Audit Tool.

How to find who has deleted the objects in 10g

All,
On 10th feb i have created a sequence (M_KEY_SEQ) as per my user request.
But i could not find the sequence in the database now, Could any one please tell me
how to find out ..who has dropped the sequence, (looks like some drop actions has been carried out from my user side, we suspect those drop jobs might dropped this sequence but we dont have correct information about who has dropped it..so we cant tell them that you have dropped).
Any suggestions please...

Hi,
Did you try the method I had suggested. It will work.
Also its better to try the path I had suggested as it will display the logs for that particular Cube only.
But if go through SM37 > B_DEL* it will display all the logs for all the deletion jobs not just this cube and it will be difficult to find out.
Try that and you should get the log.
