Audition 2.0: Beschriftung in Marker-Liste wird nicht angenommen

Bei einer laufenden Aufnahme kann die Beschriftung zu einem Marker nicht editiert werden, da sie nach ein paar Sekunden immer wieder automatisch auf den Default-Eintrag gesetzt wird. Das ging noch sehr gut in Audition 1.5!

I am bit confused with your explanation.
1. Does all zip files will be picked by file adapter in one shot or is it conditional, since you have a XML descriptor file in firts zip file and the XML files describes the list of JPEG files which might be stored in the other zipped JPEG files?
2. Can you tell the exact flow of your scenario

    Meine iTunes Karte wird im Store nicht angenommen obwohl sie ganz sicher aktiviert wurde.
    Ich habe mir Freitag bei Edeka eine iTunes Karte (15€) gekauft. Zuhause wurde bei iTunes der Code nicht angenommen und auf meine 2 E-Mails hat mir noch keiner geantwortet.

  • Is There a Better Way to Work in the Marker List Window?

    Is there a better way to sequentially listen to phrases one-by-one in the Marker List window? What I'm doing is Auto-Marking one single long file to break out 271 bits and save each as their own file. It's WAY faster than copying and pasting bits into new files and "saving as" 217 times.
    BUT, after Auto-Marking, I have 300-400 phrases to listen to, deleting the non-keepers as I go, until I'm left with my "keeper" 271 marked phrases. But it's so tedious to move from phrase-to-phase. I have to double-click each one before I can hear it (you can move the cursor with the down-arrow, but it won't actually select the audio). So I have to use the mouse (unless I'm missing something) and double-click each of the hundreds of phrases. Then whenever I delete one (which I'll have to do about a hundred times or more to get rid of bad takes, alternates, etc.), inexplicably the cursor jumps way up the list so you have to scroll back down dozens of files to get to where you were. It took me 35 minutes to do it this last time.
    Contrast that with Reaper's audition/preview functionality (which, ironically, AA has also, but only for files already saved into a folder). Once I had all the files saved into a folder, I QC'd all 217 files in Reaper and MAN what a difference! All I had to do was use the "down" arrow to advance to the next file AND have it play automatically (Audition can do the same thing with the "Open File" feature). It literally took me 5 minutes to check all 217 files that way. If AA could add that kind of functionality to the Marker List window, or if I'm just completely missing something (very possible) I would REALLY be happy.
    Any ideas?

    That doesn't quite do what I need. My end-product is 271 (used to be 116) separate files created from one large file. That large one is made up of WAY more than 271 (the VO actor records different versions of some commands, makes mistakes, etc.).
    So I need the ability to listen to each marker, and then be able to delete it if need be.
    The Playlist makes this impossible in two ways. It only has 2 options for hearing each marker, and neither option allows me to delete that marker after I've heard it. It either plays them all back-to-back without stopping, or it plays each as you click the "Move Down" button. That last one would be great if showed me which marker was playing! But it doesn't, so there is no way for me to know which marker number I just heard, nor can I delete that marker after I hear it.

  • Marker List: Batch Export Marker Regions MISSING

    Hi guys,
    I am running Audition 3.0.1 on Windows 7 x64 and just went to use the 'Batch Export Marker Regions' function in the 'Markers' panel to save any my marked regions to seperate files.
    However, the icon for this seems to be missing completely.
    Any ideas what is wrong and how I might get the icon back?
    Here's a grab of the panel. As you can see, the icon that should be bottom right just isn't there!

    I have solved the problem! Although I now realise that I have totally missed how this all works.. Doh.
    Basically I was expecting to see the batch export option icon in the 'Marker List' when in 'Multitrack' mode. I now realise that it is only available in 'Edit' mode.
    Sorry for wasting your time although this might help out others who make the same mistake as me. I assumed I would be able to do this from Multitrack mode as I find it easy to edit a large VO take in multitrack and then apply effects to the whole track easily. It would be nice to be able to batch export from this view based on the current track settings, but it's not too bad.
    Also, for anyone who is wondering you can take a multitrack session down into edit mode with ALL markers in place by going to File->Export->Audio Mixdown. From here it's then a simple case to export all markers out based on your preferences.
    So pleased to have solved this one.

  • I can no longer organize my drop down book mark list ,from the toolbar in alphabetical order like I used to Why ?

    Used to, I could organize my drop down book mark list from the tool bar, in alphabetical order from A-Z by clicking on view, sort by, select . Now every time I add a new bookmark it goes to the bottom of my bookmark list in Unsorted bookmarks . I can go to the bookmarks and sort the menu in Alpha. order. However, when I go back and drop down the bookmark list from the tool bar, the new bookmarks are still in the Unsorted list at the bottom. The bookmark's menu may or not have them in assorted list. This occurred several updates back. Why can I no longer sort the drop down book marks list in A-Z alph. order? This is a major obstacle when trying to search for a particular bookmark that I have made in the not too distant past.

    That did solve my problem. Madperson Thank You Very Much!!!!! I'm not real literate on the mechanics of working computers even though I use them all the time. Basically I'm a point & click kinda guy and beyond that I'm pure novice! This is going to save me a lot of wasted time.

  • Group Titles not working in Marker lists

    I've created a special alphabetical list of markers, using a custom name for the marker.  The list generates just fine and I have the page formated as I want, except for the need to add group titles.
    I created, on the resource page, a GroupTitlesAML paragraph format.  The line on the resource page looks like:
    Symbols[\ ];Numerics[0];A;B;C;D;E;F;G;H;I;J;K;L;M;N;O;P;Q;R;S;T;U;V;W;X;Y;Z
    But it is completely ignored.
    Are group titles even available for marker index lists, or only for actual index markers?  In other words, is GroupTitlesIX only available with files that have the IX suffix?
    I also noticed that doing something like "<Emphasis>maker text<Default Para Font> more marker text" is ignored, in that all of the text appears in the marker list.  The special text is not even parsed as special text.

    Michael is correct. If you want an index, then create an index of markers (IOM), NOT an alphabetical list of markers (AML). A list, being a list, does not have group titles, there being no grouping in a list. Thus, the GroupTitlesAML is meaningless for a list.
    I have a user-defined marker called warning. I also create an index of my warning markers (IOM). Although I do not group them under group titles, the IOM reference page does have a GroupTitlesIOM line that basically groups them all together.
    So, create an index or markers, not a list or markers.

  • Marker List question

    Is it possible to cut and paste the Marker List into another document? Under the edit option when the Marker List window is open, select all and trying to paste it into Word or Text Edit does not work.
    Would it not be useful to be able to paste a list of cues from the marker list - especially if they have been named accurately - into another programme as text/symbols?

    Thank you very much for replying, however, I'm afraid I did not fully describe the problem. The panel is not docked; I open it from the on-board icon. I have no problems maintaining the panel size, instead, I have a problem maintaining the size of the edit panel that is opened inside the Marker List panel. I make adjustments to open it as I wish, however, after shutdown and reopen, it reverts to the previous size.
    I would prefer to have the edit panel on the bottom, as it was in AA1.5 instead of the left side.

  • [suggestion] "Mark all topics as read" - "Mark listed topics as read"

    I spend a lot of time browsing the forums, and I've come to use the "Show new posts since last visit" function to keep up with discussions. This function works best for me when combined with the "Mark all topics as read" function. To see what threads had activity since my last check, I "Show new posts...", proceed to reading the interesting ones, and finally "Mark all topics as read". The amount of unread posts, of course, is proportional to how long since my last visit, and so it takes some time for me to catch up after some absence.
    Problem: During the time I spend reading new stuff there are often now posts added, so clicking "Mark all..." isn't really what I want to do.
    So naturally I "Show new..." again to be sure. This works, but there is always a slight possibility that one gets added during the .5 secs it takes for me to click both links. Call me obsessive-compulsive, but it would feel good to be able to be certain.
    Does anyone recognize this rationale? Are there existing solutions to this, maybe a non-web frontend or some forum feature I'm unaware of? Anyhow, if "Mark all topics as read" were replaced by "Mark listed topics as read" in the "Show new posts since last visit" view, there would be no uncertainty.
    Any thoughts?

    Even an extra <br> between them, or move them to one line and separate with ' - ' would help...

    After populating the DDList you can set a value for that list. Note that if the user did not want to choose a value for that list it will still be set to your default value and that default value will be in your submitted data (this may not be the behaviour that you want).

    Extension Manager is only responsible for the installation and management of extensions. Your question is about how to implement the functionalities of your extension. I am not clear about it. I am afraid you should post the question to the forum of corresponding product.

  • Export chapter marker for WMV file or print a chapter marker list?

    Is there any way to ether export chapter markers to a wmv file, or to print a chapter marker list from FCP?

    It's strictly a QT function, AFAICT, moving marker files from one QT app to another. Could be wrong, though, so I hope you get better advice later today.
    Does WMV even support markers? I haven't seen the ability in any of my references but I haven't actually gone searching for it.

    You'd think there would be a way. Perhaps there is, but I can't find it in the Manual. No doubt someone will post the right (& very simple) answer any moment; in the meantime, here are some thoughts about possible workarounds, in case you can't wait.
    The first thing that crossed my mind was simply to take a screenshot of the list. The disadvantage is that it would be an image, not text, so it would have to be typed up if you needed it as text.
    Perhaps one of the Export formats includes a text file including this kind of data? And you can certainly Print a list of Key Commands, so it's not completely unfeasible.
    You can Export a Score, so in theory you could make up a blank Score just listing the Markers, but it wouldn't include SMPTE positions. You might be able to do the same for a Final Cut Pro XML File — just don't include any audio.
    Sorry I don't have any better suggestions. Someone else will no doubt have the answer…
