Audition 3 compatability problems in Windows 7 64bit?

Hello,
I'm having a very strange problem with Audition 3 burning CDs in Windows 7 64bit.
On most occasions the first track is not playable in my CD player (Arcam CD-192) although other tracks do play.
Sometimes only one track on the disc is playable and at other times the player can't load the disc at all.
Is there a compatability problem with this OS? If so can it be handled in some way?
Please help if you can.

Yes it did play on the computer drive on which it had been made, but this is a really maddening problem.
Yesterday I updated the firmware for the optical drive in question (PLDS DVDRWBD DH-6E2S) and then, after that, Auditon did produce a disc that played perfectly on my CD player.
Today I made another disc with the same drive and it didn't even load into the player.
Huh??
It seems to me that one should be able to expect the same results from a drive every time.
I wish I could speak with the manufacturer of the drive but I have no idea who that might be.

SHARING COMPATIBILITY PROBLEM IN WINDOWS 7

we have an accounting software very old 2003 model, we use it only to review old database , this software use a share folder (company file folder) (we mapped to Z drive in all machine) it was located in windows server 2003, and every machine will pull the
information for Z drive
I transferred this share folder from the windows server 2003 to windows 7 pro , and sharing exactly the same, with all permission given (everyone full control) and sharing permission as well, and the we face the following problems :
every windows xp client runs the application work perfectly without any problems.
when you open that application for windows 7 machine, even the Z drive is accessible it will tell you the folder location cannot be found, but if you go to the Z drive, and you open that company folder exactly like if you are looking at the folder contents
and keep windows file explorer open, then you open the client application at the same time will work perfectly ,
if I close that folder window, I can keep using that software until I close it then cannot open again..
so the application will only open when a specific folder is open
if I map the Z drive on the same machine contain the file, it will work
when I called someone knows about the software, he told they were doing something in windows registry to solve this but he don't remember what

Can you run the application without any problems in Safe Mode with networking? If it works, I suspect that the issue is caused by your security programs or firewall.
You may also try running this program with compatibility mode by the steps below:
1. Right click the program's shortcut or the executive file and then click Properties.
2. On the Compatibility tab, check "Run this program in compatibility mode for".
3. Select the Windows xp in the pull down list.

However, if the issue persists, please contact the application vendor and confirm whether there is any update for their product.

Adobe After Effects CS5 Crash and compatibility problems with Windows 7 64-bit

Hello,
I get a lot of crashes of After Effects CS5. I get the message thar Monitor Kernel program stopped responding and recovered.
I also did a compatibility test and found that After Effects CS5 is not compatible with Windows 7 Premium 64-bit.
Could you suggest a solution please?

ITunes compatibility problems with Windows 8 Pro with Media Center

I get this message on my screen:
iTunes.exe has been set to run in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows. For best results, turn off compatibility mode for iTunes before you open it.
When I open my iTunes the only music I can see is that which I downloaded from iTunes; the other music I have which I have physically loaded via CD, although on my PC and playable through Media Center is unobtainable through my iTunes home window.
Can anybody help me fathom this out?

We are really sorry to hear about the issue you are facing,
Usually, a computer can appear to hang (stop responding) in the situations of insufficient system resources, high CPU usage, high disk usage, deadlock in kernel mode or key system processes, or hardware problem.
You can check if this hang issue usually hangs when high load, that may points to a resource issue, enable perfmon log to located which process caused that.
Regarding to the deadloack issue, based on my experience, most of these issues caused by the outdated driver, refer to the following action plans:

1. upgrade all the hardware driver, firmware, BIOS.
2. upgrade the AV software.
3. Run disk check, if there is build-in hardware health Diagnostics Utility, also run it.

I have a 6th Gen ipod nano. Is there a compatability problem with Windows 8.1?

My 6th gen ipod nano is not being recognised in itunes. I have tried all the suggestions in the itunes troubleshooting section without success. I am running Windows 8.1 , is there a chance of an incompatability problem here?

Doublechecking. Have you also tried a complete uninstall of both iTunes and all the other related software components and then a reinstall? If not, try the instructions from the following document:

Seriously though... I did professional testing of antivirus software at Intuit for about six months in 2004 and the ONE thing I learned foremost from it was:
Mixing antivirus programs does more harm than good in 99.999% of cases.
I also have a serious problem with Microsoft (in)Security Essentials. I spent six hours reformatting my brother's office computer in May because MSE was unable to detect or prevent the FBI "Ransomware" virus from infecting and taking over his PC. Microsoft is the primary reason that anti-virus software exists in the first place. They built Windows so full of "gaping" security holes, that they're STILL patching them in XP thirteen years after they released it.. just how good can their security software be if they can't identify all of the security flaws that have been in their OS since 2000?
At least you don't have Norton or McAfee installed... (yet). Getting rid of those is more trouble than removing a virus. Find youraelf a good solid antivirus app like TrendMicro or AVG and stick with it. Get rid of all that other stuff as it's causing conflicts in your system whether you see them or not. This errant incompatibility message is a good (or maybe bad) sign that things are starting to act up.

Bridge compatibility problem in Windows XP

I installed the Illustrator upgrade from CS to CS4, which also installs the CS4 Bridge. Photoshop CS3 is on the machine and I been using Bridge CS3. Now the CS4 Bridge does not allow direct access to the Raw Converter installed with Photoshop, and the CS3 Bridge installed with Photoshop will not open. (Uninstalling the Illustrator upgrade allows the CS3 Bridge to open and work correctly.)
How can I make the CS3 Bridge operate with Illustrator CS4 installed on the machine OR how can I get the CS4 Bridge to open the Raw Converter installed with Photoshop CS3?

You can't have Bridge CS3 and 4 running as same time although they can be on same computer no problem. It you have autoload enabled you may have to look in Task Manager/processes to make sure bridge.exe is not running and then start the one you want.
CS4 reads ACR version 5.x and the last version for CS3 was 4.6. You have to use the correct one, they are not interchangable.

Restart your PC. after the PC restarts, bring up your Task manager, and go to the "Processes" tab. Click "Image name" to sort the processes alphabetically.
Now try to launch iTunes.
Does an itunes.exe process appear? If so, does it vanish after a second or so, or does it persist in the Processes tab (even though iTunes itself never shows up)?

HP Envy X2 (32-bit) upgrade from windows 8.1 to Windows 10 has a display compatibility problem

When I attempt to install Windows 10 on my machine I get an error screen that say's: "The display manufacturer hasn't made your display compatible with Windows 10." The display manufacturer (which is my HP with Intel(R) Graphic Media Accelerator), has a display compatibility problem with Windows 10. Does anyone know what I can do? Actually it's H partition that hp drive encryption is decrypting 5 days now (without % sign). I have only my dropbox data there. I could format that partition and downlad the data from dropbox again (it would take 1 day to download 60 GB of the data again from dropbox). D partition is HP recovery partition but I don't have any problems with it yet (i made a letter mistake in first post). I also made HP recovery media on USB stick. Will hp drive encryption automaticaly update the status of H partition from 'Decrypting' to 'decyrpted', if I format the H: partition? Will drive encyrption login window (WinMagic’s Pre-boot UEFI) (before the windows login) automatically be removed, if I format the H: partition? Will FilterBootOrder (FBO) variable automatically be removed, if I format the H: partition?I imagine this is automaticaly done via decrytion of all partitions/disk in HP client security (which doesn't work correct at my computer). Maybe afterwards the H: partition is formated and HP drive encryption status updated, I can then uninstall hp drive encryption and hp client security and install win10. This is another option.

Oracle 8 client is not certified on Windows 7. Client 10.2.0.5 is compatible with Oracle 8 and is certified on Windows 7 too.
To install 10.2.0.5 client, please refer to the MOS document.

Installation problem on windows server 2008 r2 datacenter edition 64bit

today, i tried to install the current maxdb 7.8 release on my virtual server with a windows server 2008 r2 datacenter 64bit edition os. at the first installation, i got an error message something with "rte runtime error". at this point, the installation stopped.
because of this error, i tried to uninstall the failed installation. this was not possible, in the uninstaller, i didn't see any components, so i can't uninstall.
so i tried to delete the files manually: the entries in the start menu, and the application's path under "program files"... first, i need to kill a process named "serv.exe", that creates a tcp daemon under port 7200... after killing it, the deletion of the dir in program files was successful.
this is very very weird, now my server is "contaminated" with an uncomplete uninstallation of maxdb...
why maxdb 7.8 has problems on windows server 2008 r2 datacenter 64bit edition???

Windows 2003 != Windows 2008 - they use a different kernel, a different security system (UAC) and other features that may prevent a succesfull installation in the first place.
I installed a MaxDB 7.8 just today on Windows 2008 R2 and it worked fine.

Are There Compatability Problems Wtih Adobe Photoshop CS2 On The Windows Portion of iMac?

I understand that there are compatability problems with CS2 and lower vesions of the creative suite in relation to Leoapard OSX. Are there any compatability problems with CS2 for Windows if I install it on the Windows (using XP) partition of an iMac that uses the Leopard OSX?

If its not running in Leopard you should be fine.
don't confuse running PowerPC software in Rosetta (PPC emulation) with running CS2 in XP which is native. It like apples and oranges. there is nothing in common.
