Did it work OK before? Did anything change on your PC, Windows updates etc.?
It could be that one of the Audition configuration files has become corrupted. Try renaming the Audition settings folder to something like "6.0.bak" which will cause Audition to recreate the default settings folder when you open the software again. If that works you can try copying various of the settings .xml files back from your renamed folder if you have any customised settings there. the folder can be found at:
C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Audition\6.0 where "username" is your username.
Otherwise re-installing Audition might solve the problem.

After effects on startup crashes constantly on me. I get various errors, the newest is error code 1268; D_MCp_SetupExporterModule
Sometimes it is a dynamic link error, and sometimes there is errors.
If I actually get it to open and work, I'm usually OK until I close the program. At that point there is almost no way I'm getting back in without a reboot.
I've worked on this same machine for three years and had pretty good luck with every version of AE since 5.5.If you're not on Service Pack 1 for Windows 7, you need to get it. SP1 is a minimum system requirement to run 13.1

I've just installed After Effects CS6 from the cloud. I run Photoshop, & Illustrator CS5.5 with no problems.
Here are the full errors it gives me on startup. I have never been able to successfully get After Effects to load.
"After Effects error: After Effects crashed previously attempting to initialize OpenGL. Consult the manufacturer of your graphics card for a compatiable OpenGL driver."
"After Effects error: Crash in progress. Last logged message was: <6632> <GPUManager> <2> Sniffer Result Code: 1"
I have an ATI Radeon 7850 card. Tried uninstalling the drivers completely and re-installing latest Catalyst drivers. Then tried uninstalling completely again and installing the beta 13.3 drivers. Still same crash error.
Running Windows 7 64 bit.

Also, Noel Carboni over at the PS forum might have to say a word or two on the drivers... He recommends to not use 13.3 at all and his list of "safe" versions only includes 12.8... You also have an awful lot of CoDecs in your list, so you might consider uninstalling some of them/ the apps that introduced them. This may also help....

Good morning: I'm using Audition CS6 on an HP laptop with W8 and more than the required RAM, etc. Every time I try to open Audition, I get an error message and it shuts down. Sometimes -- but not every time -- if I restart my computer, Audition will work. I need to get this figured out!
And that error message is....?! You need to provide more info. Also provide the crash details:

Hi All,
I have 2 sample applications say Exportex1 and Exportex2.
When I deploy exportex1from one machine and check for output, it is working fine as expected. When I deploy exportex2 from another machine, it is also working fine.
But Exportex1 is giving startup plug error when I log in into portals after the deployment of exportex2 application.
I find that Exportex2 is somehow overrides the Exportex1 application which means i can view only one application at a time in the portal.
Error:
RunTime Exception or StartUp Plug not found exception.
What could be the reason for this?
The application Name - Exportex1 , Exportex2
Project Name - Exportex1 , Exportex2
component Controller - Exportex , Exportex
Pls suggest.
Regards,
subashini.Hi Ayyapparaj,
They are pointing to their corresponding interface views. But the component controller name is same for all the applications say Exportex1 and Exportex2. Will it make any problem?
Ex:
Application Name: Exportex1, Exportex2
Component controller Name : Exportex, Exportex

Mic Not Working... Audition CS5.5 crashes when I hit Record
I'm doing simple recording of narratives for my animated videos. Seems simple enough. I have CS5 and Soundbooth on my Mac PowerBook Pro with Snow Leopard OS X and 4 Gigs of RAM. My microphone is a Blue Snowball Mic with a USB plug. I do not have a special audio card. All I have is CoreAudio. I've previously recorded and edited multiple narrations in Soundbooth with no problem.
My horror story started a couple weeks ago when Soundbooth stopped recognizing my Snowball Mic. I tried everything I could think of and nothing worked. Then I realized that Adobe had stopped supporting Soundbooth and switched to a totally rewritten Audition in CS5.5. Based on that nasty bit of info, I bit the bullet and spent the nearly $600 to upgrade my CS5 Master Collection to CS5.5. I uninstalled CS5 and installed CS5.5. Now, the Snowball is recognized in both my Mac Preferences and in Audition Prefrences. Unfortunately, when I tried to actually record, NOTHING HAPPENED... and then something did happen... Audition CRASHED. Now, whether I try to use Snowball or just the built-in mic, as soon as I hit the record button, Audition crashes. I rebooted my Mac... and Audition continues to CRASH.
If I've suddenly developed another fatal glitch in my own personal self, I wouldn't be surprised. Or is it the microphone and its USB connection? Or some incompatibility with my Mac? I've been working with After Effects CS5.5 and Illustrator CS5.5 with NO PROBLEMS, so I'm thinking the uninstall/install went ok.
Hoping to be embarrassed when told of my stupid mistake and the easy, inexpensive fix.
Best to All of You,
RoadQuillHmm, I tried re-sending and I received a rejection from your mail server insisting the address was invalid. I'll paste my response below in case anyone else finds this thread and is experiencing the same issue:
I'm sorry you're having troubles with your audio devices. I use a
Snowball myself for much of my testing, so I know we can get this working
for you.
My first question would be whether you updated OS X around the time you
noticed this problem begin. There was an issue with a few releases of
10.6.x where Apple changed how they identify audio devices to
applications, and this could often cause confusion to apps that had a
record of the old Ids. Please try the following steps:
1. Open Finder and navigate to /Library/Preferences (This is the
system Library folder, not the one in your Users folder)
2. Rename "com.apple.audio.AggregageDevices.plist" to anything else (eg.
"com.apple.audio.AggregateDevices.BAK" )
3. Launch Audition
If the OS update was indeed the problem, this should resolve the issue by
forcing OS X to update this property file and trigger Audition to use the
new device Ids. It should not negatively impact your system otherwise as
OS X simply rebuilds the file and updates the timestamp.
If this doesn't help, let's get Audition "reset" and configured properly.
1. Launch Audition, but hold down the SHIFT key while it's loading. (This
overrides Audition's preferences file and sets it back to its default
settings.)
2. Open Preferences > Audio Hardware... And set your Default Input: to the
Blue Snowball.
3. You'll likely want to leave your Default Output configured as-is, but
verify it is configured for your expected output.
4. Click OK and attempt to record. -
Chrome and Opera- Aw Snap/ Crashing Error on Literally Everything!
I bought the new Mac Pro this past summer and have never been able to get Chrome or Opera (latest versions of each) to work.
I have performed the steps suggested in the Google Help Center, including renaming the "Default" folder in Application Support/Google, and nothing has worked.
Interestingly, the exact same problem happens with Opera. Neither browser is usable at all. Chrome with the "Aw Snap" for every single page (including About, Help and Extensions) and Opera with the "Page Crashed" error message.
This has to be a solvable issue. I've posted repeatedly on the Google help forums and searched extensively, but found nothing yet, save a handful of people with the same issue.
What do these two programs have in common that could cause them both to completely fail?
By the way, Safari and Firefox work fine.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Mac OS X 10.9.4, Opera 25.0, Chrome 38.0.2125.104In case anyone ever has this issue, I never resolved it, not even with multiple contacts with Google's online support. The issue was instantly resolved when I upgraded the OS to Yosemite. NO idea what caused it or how to fix it if it happens again, but it does make me want to avoid Chrome unless it's necessary...

Anyone else getting App Crash error message \screen\previewsequence.cpp-2705
Has anyone seen the following app crash error:
\screen\previewsequence.cpp-2705
Currently running PrePro CC on a PC.
i7-3770k cpu @3.5GHz
RAM 16 GB
All I am doing is replacing video clips on the timeline sequence with same clips due to project showing clips off line in the sequence but not in the project box. I have tried to relink the clips but still get the same gray/blue hash lines in the sequence. Recently upgraded from CS6 to CC to find myself in this situation.
Recently reinstalled the Windows 7 OS onto a new SSD which is also where I am installing CC.
Any suggestions?

Thank you for the response to my question.
Are the following two items also related to that error message? I am also noticing that my imported media clips which come in as .MXF files are now duplicates in both the project folder and timeline for an existing sequence.
My timeline sequence shows multiple clips, some of which have the hashed gray/blue in them, but when I bring over one clip (the first of the multiples), it seems to cover the length of the multiple clips as only one clip. It is at this point, the program periodically crashes.
Finally, from what you are telling me, it is not a good idea to convert a previously created 6.0 projects into CC, but to start fresh with a new project? While I still have my 6.0 project, I don't see the option in CC to re-install CS6. Any suggestions on if that is even possible to do under the current license of a group CC?
Thank you,
Michael -

Startup config error after upgrading to ASA from PIX
Hey guys. I get the following startup-config errors when reloading our ASA. A pix->asa conversion was just done on it. The ASA is currently running 8.2(5), and I am trying to get ready to update it to the most stable release, and wanted to make sure all my ducks are in a row. What is going on with the "will be identity translated for outbound"? This is part of the VPN configuration, and I understand nat0 is saying to not nat it. Is this something that I should be worried about? The ASA is not in production currently.
Let me know if you need further information
Thanks,

I would imagine that there is no problem as the firewall has not given any kind of error message.
I do personally wonder sometimes why is it so (atleast in the 8.2 softares etc) that the firewall shows a message on the CLI when you are for example configuring a "global" / "nat" command pair.
I wonder if this falls into the same category.
The configuration format for NAT has stayed pretty same leading to the 8.2 softwares. I'm not totally sure what software you are going to go for but you seem to have the latest 8.2 series software so next steps are already 8.3 / 8.4 / 9.0 / 9.1
ALL of the above mentioned softwares introduce a completely new NAT configuration format to the ASA. While the ASA automatically converts the configurations its not always 100% process not to mention that the NAT configuration probably is far from optimal.

Unable to send crash/error problem report
Hi There,
I have recently noticed that when a program I am running either force quits on it's own or I have to manually force quit the program, I am unable to send crash/error problem report to Apple. This has happened for all my programs from Safari and iTunes to recently Microsoft Word. The crashing messed up my internet as I had to give up using Firefox (because it kept crashing and wouldn't send a report) so I downloaded Chrome.
Yesterday, Microsoft Word had to force quit because I manually quit the program but it never closed. It kept running in the background at 192% under my operating processes. When I force quit Word, it gave me the option to report the problem or ignore it. I chose to send a report but once that Problem Report screen loaded, it would not let me send to Apple, stating "Your submission could not be submitted. Please try again later."
I have tried numerous times since all to no avail. As I mentioned, this happens on a lot of programs lately and I don't know what to do to fix it. Below are the specs of my Macbook. I can copy the problem details, but is lengthy.
Any help/feedback is greatly appreciated.Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Apple is apparently no longer accepting crash reports for 'Leopard' OS X 10.5.8.

Typical disk-maintenance activities when crashes occur include using Verify, and Repair Permissions on your hard drive (probably labeled Macintosh HD), using Disk Utility.
10% to 15% of hard-drive capacity is generally acknowledged as the minimum amount of free space needed for adequate performance.
