Audition update fails, unable to extract downlaod files. (U44M1I210)
When I try to update Audition, I get the following error message: "Update Failed Unable to extract the downloaded files. Press Retry to download again (U44M1I210)"
This is on a PC, Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit. I have other CC application installed and they update with no problem (Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge).
I tried updating again, several times, always got the same error. I uninstalled Audition and tried to install it again, but ended up with the same error.

. I just finished a chat with an Adobe specialist who walked me through the solution. So I recommend a chat to solve the problem for me (and I suspect all Mac users).
The Solution essentially this came down to the following:
Deleting the following:
OOBE and AAM Updater folders from ~/library/Application Support/Adobe
OOBE and Adobe Application Manager folders from /Library/Application Support/Adobe
Reinstalling the Adobe Application Manager.
Restarting the Creative cloud Application. -

I am downloading my apps. I get the message above and if I retry it still doesn't work.
Without system information nobody can advise. This error can have a million causes, mopst notably simply running out of (temporary) disk space during the extraction/ installation.

Hi there,
Today I decided to upgrade from ADOBE CS4 toa CC subscription. I am on PC, running WINDOWS 7. My main design computer is 64-bit, my laptop runs 32 bit WINDOWS. I downloaded the app manager and selected apps without problems on my main computer - but as I am trying to install on my Fujitsu Lifebook T900 laptop computer (running 32-bit Windows 7) - I get download problems - so far both Photoshop and Indesign have failed to install. Bridge updated sucessfully.
NOTE: I did uninstall CS4 on my laptop and reboot my system before beginning the CC app download
The error message for INDESIGN states this:
Installation failed
Unable to extract to temp directory. Please contact customer support. (EX11)
Can you help me with how to make this work?

Please follow the below steps:
1) Quit Adobe creative cloud desktop application.
2) Click on start button and right click on Properties.
3) Advanced system settings>> Advanced>> Environment Variables>> Highlight first line item and click on Edit.
4) Variable Name: TEMP and Variable value: "C:\Temp". Do the same thing for the second line item.
5) Click Ok and Apply, once done launch Adobe creative cloud and then try to install Indesign once again.

My daughter's ipod nano shows up in "devices" when I plug it in...but it disappears. Right away it says it needs to update, but then after extracting the files it comes back and says that it can't be updated because it can't be unmounted. help?!
When in DFU mode and connected to the computer iTunes does not say anything but iTunes will see the iPod and you can restore the iPod via iTunes. When in recovery mode and you connect, iTunes will say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

Photoshop CS6 mac OS X 10.9.5 - cannot update 13.0.6 - error "Update failed - unable to write at location." Tried manual update also failed. Tried to change permissions also failed.

Need Adobe help to solve this. My own searches in Forums and Google all have failed.It is not an Adobe problem. You have a OS permissions problem. You can try to correct this by using Disk Utility to Repair Permissions. It is in the First Aid area of Disk Utility.

I have completed the OS X Maverick upgrade, restart etc. but when attempting to update 8 other Apps to X Maverick I get this message:

Help!Similar threads solve this problem by either creating a new administrator identity, which allows one to update applications, or changing the keychain prefs to Best attempt. My issue was solved by adding a new admin user, and then updating the apps from the App store using the new identity. Under my orginal user identity the keychain app would crash when I attempted to open Prefs. After creating a new identity and updating the applications (iPhoto, etc) I found I was able to open the keychain Prefs logged into my orginal identity.
