Audits of Dumps ST22

Hello to all!
For reasons of SOX audits, in our production system we have the job SAP_REORG_ABAPDUMPS that eliminates dumps generated in the system, to run every 3 months.
But we are realizing that there must be another process that eliminates the dumps without this job that runs.
The questions is, there is an additional process in SAP to remove the dumps from time to time? apart from the Job SAP_REORG_ABAPDUMPS ???

Hi kaushal, thanks for the replay.
The problem is that by SOX audits can not run this job every day, but every three months. We want to preserve the Dumps generated in a period of time.
What I want to know whether there is an automatic process sap to me what this erasing or eliminating, because when I want to see the dumps a month earlier by the transaction are no longer st22.

Hi Tobias,
I get your point. Solman always has yellow alerts in the DB14 screen which it evaluates. As it is not configured to respond to green alerts it would not take into consideration the changed status. The satellite system sends green status and it reflects in the RZ20 screen but no mail is sent. As the CCMS on solman is not configured to check for success messages.
Now could you clarify these points:
1. Do you get any mail when the backup completes successfully from any of the satellite systems?
2. Do you want to get mails when the backup finishes successfully?
3. Do you get mails when the backup starts and only when it fails and not when it completes successfully?
Please let me know these points so that I could understand your problem better.

Can't open layout getting Dump in ST22

I am getting an layout no display and dump ST22 with the following details for few users, It seems the data set they try to open via the layout is locked but ususally when the layout is open and they select that version then they get a message ' this is locked or somthing', but I have never seen they can't even open the layout. Specially, with only one layout. Is there a table or somthing I can release that locked for this user? OR how can I resolve this issue!!! I am in SEM 4.0 Add-on into BW3.0B
The termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLUPC_DATASLICE" in
"UPC_DATASLICE_CHASEL_CHECK".
The main program was "SAPMHTTP ".
The termination occurred in line 162 of the source code of the (Include)

I think the problem is related to Active/Deactive Dataslices.
In your case Dataslices is ACTIVE ??
Please put a break point in FM UPC_DATASLICE_CHASEL_CHECK and check exactly where are you getting the dump.
Just to analyse the problem , deactivate it and check whether you are getting the dump or not ?

What happened?
The current ABAP/4 program "SAPLSTUW " had to be terminated because one of the statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP/4 program.
A value does not fit in a calculation field.
If you require an interim solution to this error, you can look in the SAP note system. If you have access to
the SAP notes system yourself, enter the following search strings:
"COMPUTE_BCD_OVERFLOW"
"BCD_FIELD_OVERFLOW" (By release 4.0a, this error has been remedied at this
point)
"SAPLSTUW " or "LSTUWF01 "
"CONVERT_PFDIAREC"

Hi,
Please search for SAP Notes for your system and patch level.
This sort of error usually occurs when the amounts involved are too big for the program to handle. The ABAP will be trying to write to a table or structure which does not have enough space.
Get an ABAPer to work with you and analyse the short dump (ST22 will take you there). Then run the proposal in debug mode and see where it drops out. Once you have identified the table or structure get your basis people to allocate more space to it, re-index it or generally kick it into shape.

Short Dump While Printing Good Receipt Using MIGO

I have copied standard program /SMB40/M07DR for printing Goods Receipt from MIGO for a purchase order.
I am getting a dump: ST22 (POSTING_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT)
Error analysis

Looked for many SAP NOTES but no luck.

Hi,
it means the Function Module does not exist.
it must have specified the FM name in the dump st22.
check whether that FM exist in the system or not.

O certificado esta ok pq foi feito um teste com a NF-e 1.10 e funcionou normal.
Dump ST22 que acredito estar relacionado ao nosso problema:
Erro tempo execução    DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND
O SLD esta ok, pois utiliza os mesmos BS da 1.10
Se eu executar a interface de assinatura pelo RWB passando o XML a nota segue todo o pipeline da NF-e corretamente.
Estamos com o SP15 no GRC.

Segue uma thread com o sofrimento que quem começou com o SP15 (parte dele) NF-e pré-validação erro - XML 2.00 - /XNFE/VERSION 0006, aí tem por final seu erro.
Vá para o SLL-NFE SP17 e XI Content, ou liste todas as notas pós SP15 de SLL-NFE e aplique em seu sistema.
SP15 não funciona sem correção para layout 2.0
A dica é SP17 + SAP Notes do SP18...

Sobre o DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND ele acontece quando uma screen é chamada em um processo sem diálogo, como uma RFC ou uma execução background. Não deveria acontecer no standard, melhor abrir uma thread específica para este com todos os dados que tiver em mãos, como acontece, em que código...

Data not received in InfoCube / PSA

Hi Everybody,
Today all the loads are failed with the Error "Data not received in InfoCube / PSA object / InfoObject", Could you please help how to solve the problem.

First check that your ODS is active
Then ensure it has data activated and for the selection you want to extract
What kind of load are you performing? A full or a delta?
In any case when you fire your InfoPackage from the ODS to the cube a job named BI_REQ* will be kicked. Check this job in SM37. If you can open an InfoPackage with your ODS as DataSource then the DataSource is fine and the transfer program is activated.
Monitor this job and see what happens.
If the job is cancelled for any reason, look if there is a dump (ST22), a system message in the log (SM21 on all appserv) and if there is a TRFC transaction with error in BW (SM58).

   CALL METHOD cl_gui_cfw=>flush.
It works fine in R3, but when i called it from portal it shows Access not possible using 'NULL' object reference with a short dump .

Load from ODS into InfoCube gives TIME-OUT runtime error after 10 minutes ?

   We have a full load from ODS into InfoCube and it was working fine till the last week upto with 50,000 records. Now, we have around 70,000+ records and started failing with TIME_OUT runtime error.
   The following is from the Short Dump (ST22):
   The system profile "rdisp/max_wprun_time" contains the maximum runtime of a
program. The current setting is 600 seconds. Once this time limit has been exceeded, the system tries to terminate any SQL statements that are currently being executed and tells the ABAP processor to terminate the current program.
The following are from ROIDOCPRMS table:
   MAXSIZE (in KB) : 20,000
   Frequency       : 10
   Max Processes : 3
When I check the Data Packages under 'Details' tab in Monitor, there are four Data Packages and the first three are with 24,450 records. I will right click on each Data Package and select 'Manual Update' to load from PSA. When this Manual Update takes more than 10 minutes it is failing with TIME_OUT again.
How could I fix this problem, PLEASE ??

hi,
There is some time limit set for the request to run when you run a program in the foreground or in the background. If the time limit exceeds this will occur, run the program again then this might not happen.
This might be related to table space issue, or roll area or memory. Show the short dump (ST22) to your Basis person and tell me to adjust/increase the respective tablespace .

Error during loading and deletion of write-optimized DSO

I am using a write optimized DSO ZMYDSO to store data from several sources (two datasources and one DSO).
I have disabled the check of uniqueness in the DSO, but I defined a semantic key for the fields ZCLIENT, ZGUID, ZSOURCE, ZPOSID which are used in a non-unique index.
In the given case, I want to delete existing rows in the DSO. I execute these steps in the endroutine. Here the abstract coding:

During the Loading (after the transformation step in the updating step), I get the messages (not every time):
1.     Error while writing the data. (RSAODS131)
2.     Could not Save DataPackage xy in DataStore ZMYDSO (RSODSO_UPDATE027).
Diagnosis: DataPackage XY could not be saved. Reasons therefore could be violation of key uniqueness (duplicate data) or general database error.
3.     Error in the substep of updating DataStore.
I have checked the system log (SM21) and the system dumps (ST22) but I could not find an exact error description.
I guess, I am creating some inconsistencies or locks (I also checked the SM12) so that the load process interrupts. But I also tried a serial updating within the DTP (I reduced the number of batch processes to 1). No success.
Perhaps the loading of one specific package could take a longer time so that the following package would overtake the predecessor. Could that be a problem? Do you generally advise against the deletion of rows within the endroutine?

And is this the end routine of the transformation while loading the same DSO?
if so we never do such a thing.
you are comparing the DSO with the data that is flowing in and then deleting the data from the DSO...
Which doesnt actually make any sense... because when loading the data to a DSO (or a cube or any table) the DSO (or cube) will be locked exclusively for any modifications of data. You can only read data from it.
If your requirement is that existing duplicate records need not arrive in the DSO then you can delete the data from the SOURCE_PACKAGE in the start routine like below
