I am from Australia but want to purchase my MacBook pro in London. I am eligible for student discount at home. Will I be able to get it in London? I have two valid student cards. One for my university and an ISIC card.

MacBook Pro with student discount

I just read somewhere that if you buy a MacBook Pro (or any other Mac) from the online Apple Store with a student discount that it is a refurbished one you get. This because it's with student discount.
Is this true?

How many systems can you purchase with Student Discount within 12 months?

9 Months ago I purchased an iMac with my University student discount, but now looking into upgrading my machine. I wanted to know if I would be able to get another machine with my Educational Discount? I purchased the iMac in my second year of University, now I'm in my third and find that I need a machine more powerful. It would be good to know if anyone has any information.

Buying macbook with student discount?

I'm going uni 20 september and discount offer states to order before 9 sept to get the discount. I'm on holiday until 16th sept. I'm getting the Air with upgraded 8 gig ram. Are my parents able to buy it on my behalf ( they have the official uni letter)? Or when im at uni on the network, can i order from there with the discount still?

As Joey R said, it's used on an honor system to get the computer at a discounted rate.
You do not need to send in any rebate forms to get the EDU discount. The Touch rebate you're referring to was a promotion that made it free (or greatly reduced) after rebate (much like they run with printers). You pay full price upfront and get a rebate form.
But as you noted, EDU discounts aren't rebates, they're discounts. Taken off at the point of purchase.
Just w/o the purchase of a MB, the Touch does not have an EDU discount. You happened to purchase the two when they were running that promotion. The EDU discount is for educational items only, and they deem that ipods are NOT education items (however the case could be made that they could be considered as such).

I've just finished my A levels and will almost certainly be starting university in october. The question is, do I have to wait till then if I want to get myself a student discount?

Student discounts are only available for college and university students. Proof of enrollment is required when you place your order. So, yes, you will have to wait until you have officially enrolled in a university or college.

If you are looking to save a bit of money, consider a refurbished iPad, available via the online Apple Store in some countries. Refurbished units are like new and carry a full standard warranty, but since they can't be sold as new cost a bit less, in the US about $50.00 less than an equivalent new unit.

You can do this, and without third party apps.
Go to "System Preferences," located under the Apple () Menu. Select the Keyboard menu, and the check the box by "Show Keyboard & Character Viewer in menu bar."
Keyboard view will show you the keys you are depressing, and allows you to see what characters are available if you hold down the modifier keys (shift, control, option, command). I just put in the Apple in the paragraph above by using the Keyboard view to find which key combination made that character.
Character view shows you the range of characters you might like to use.
If you have access to the US version, you can try it out to show which keys will work. On my US English keyboard, option-3 makes a pound symbol (£) and shift-option-2 makes the Euro (€).

I'm sorry to hear you may have encountered trouble when using both your College Student Deals and Movers coupon on an item. Aside from the system limitations, please know that the terms of the College Student Deal coupon currently prevents the coupon from being combined with other offers.
It certainly would seem odd to have multiple entry points for offer codes if the order was limited to one offer per order. To clarify, it would be one offer per item that this limitation refers to. If you have multiple items that each have individual offer codes, you should be able to utilize the offer codes for each respective item in one order. I can only seem to find the cc version or the extended cs6 photoshop. I do btw live in Norway, in case that matters. I don't whant the cc subscription and I don't need any fancy packages with all available adobe programmes. Just the regular photoshop cs6.

You can only contact them by phone or by web chat. They do not offer support by email.
They used to have a Contact button on most of some of their web pages.
To my surprise, I looked around just now and found no such thing.

Combining Mover's Discount Coupon and Student Discount Coupon on Macbook Pro with Retina Display

To whom it may concern,
I've recently saved up enough to buy a Macbook Pro with Retina Display 13.3" with 8GB Memory ($1235) and I read on a few forums that you could combine the Mover's Coupon and College Student Coupon on the Macbook. However, with that discount, many customers had trouble because the sales associate/manager said it wasn't applicable to apply the Mover's Coupon and neither was it applicable to combine both coupons.
As a result, I called my local Best Buy in Brooklyn, NY (Bay Parkway, Store #599) in advance to double check if it was possible so that I wouldn't be wasting my time trying to argue with the store manager, etc. The sales associate said generally, I couldn't combine two coupons regardless of what type they were.
I was wondering if combining the Mover's Coupon and College Student Coupon still applied to the Macbook Pro.
If it did, would it be possible for someone to directly contact my local Best Buy store manager or sales associate that would be ringing me up and explain how to do it and that it is possible to combine the two coupons. I also have a $100 Best Buy gift card that I intend to use with my purchase so I was wondering if that was applicable on top of the Best Buy coupons.
