How is possible to insert the Author name of sheet on header page??

Were you able to sort your problem out?
Based on what you have written, what I understand is:
1) Your clients have access to various business areas
2) They are creating their own reports either using Discoverer Desktop or Plus.
3) They want their name to appear on the header as a report author.
The solution I had suggested was let them select 'user' from your quary 'select user from dual' and place it as a page item in the report. Thus, when they select page items to be displayed in the header, their name will automatically apear as an author.
However, there is something that I had not thought of....if some other user (with whom the author of tha report has shared the report) logs in and checks tha same report...then, his/her name will appear instead of the author.
Answer to your last question: I'm from India, but, working in Mauritius.

Show Subreport Name in the header part of the main Report subreport wise

Hi,
I want to create a Report which contains a collection of Subreport.
In header part of the main report I have one expression which shows specific text for specific subreport.
In Detail
I have three subreport named as
Sureport1
Subreport2
Subreport3
I have given page name for all the three subreport as subreport name.
Now I create one Main report. Where I drag one table and delete the group.
I created three rows in this tablix.
And in each textbox I have inserted one rectangle.
and place all the three subreport.
and here my expression is mentioned below.
=IIf(Globals!PageName Like "Subreport1","Subreport1",
IIf(Globals!PageName Like "Subreport2","Subreport2",
IIf(Globals!PageName Like "Subreport3","Subreport3","")))
This expression is working when I am placing all the subreports inside separate rectangle but not working when I am placing all three subreports in one tablix.
For both case it is showing in report designer window but in second case it is not showing in the pdf.

Hi,
As the description, I understand that you want to display the subreports’ name on the page header of the main report. When the page display a subreport, display the corresponding subreport name in the header part of the main report.
Base on my understanding, you should have page break on each subreport(suppose you add the subreports without Rectangle) since there is no group in the main report and there should not be a page break in the main report. If I have misunderstood, please correct
me.
I was not able to reproduce the issue currently. How did you define the page name of your main report. If it is possible, please upload your rdl file to your OneDrive and share the link here. You can also capture the screenshot so that I can understand the
problem in more details.

How to get the 3 character sytem name in the header of SAP window

Hi,
I have 6.4 version of sapgui and while working with multiple SAP sessions of different systems it would be good to have the 3 character system name displayed in the header so that when the sessions have been grouped together, it is enough to just get a list of all the open sessions with their system name and transaction name instead of clicking on each one the sessions to find the right one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Sometimes you want to display additional information such as the system name, module number or client in the SAP GUI window titles."
It is a simple registry tweak which allows you to see this additional info on the taskbar of the GUI sessions.

launching FB50 or other t.code, I can see the Company Code in the header of the window.

We can keep the company name too, ask your FI guy for the steps to keep the company code and name by default.
I remember our FI guys have kept.. currently i am not have the SAP in my system to tell the steps.

How to display the responsibility name in the header of a SS page?

Customer is wanting to show the Responsibility name at the top of the Self Service page, similar to the way the PUI forms does.
For example, if you are in Forms and have the System Administrator responsibility opened, in the top of the forms window you will see: System Administrator
The customer has several iProcurement responsibilities
“KNAW Internet Procurement 210”
“KNAW Internet Procurement 220”
“KNAW Internet Procurement 230”
“KNAW Internet Procurement 240”
“KNAW Internet Procurement 250”
and would like to see the which responsibility they are in displayed at the top of the SS/OAF page.
They are on R12.1.2, and I have looked through the Framework Profile Options but not finding anything there.
Is there a way to do this?

Problems displaying the site name in the header tab.

In the header displays the word "Connection" instead of the site, although the site is already open.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

If the extension or theme isn't working then you need to disable or uninstall it.

Click on your name and then click on Users and Groups Preferences. In Login Options change your preference under "Show fast user switching menu as".

Field/Table to change the header tick in sales order billing plan

Hi SD Guru's
I am using a GUI screen to create standard sales order (VA01). Since my order dates at header and line item level can differ, i want the field name or table name of the header tick which is taken as default from my billing plan in my sales order.
Or is there any setting where my billing plan at item level is not defaulted from my header.
Its really urgent. Would appreciate your reply.

Hi Ravi,
I'm unsure whether this will help you or not. In VOV7, choose your It Cat, in detailed screen of It Cat settings there's a checkbox with "Business data" when not checked which will allow you to change Data at Item level.

How to remove author name and/or date from blogsite summary

Hello,
Can someone please help me find how and where to remove the author name from the blogsite summary?
I don't want any author name listed, just the linked title of the blog post and the date posted.
Or, is it possible to have the linked title, with 50 words of article displayed, but no author name or date created?

Acrobat 7-how to keep author name in Note Tool permanently blank?

One of my main uses for Acrobat is to review academic documents, which is meant to be done anonomously. When I use Tools>Commenting>NoteTool, my login name appears in the Note Tool box, even though I have deselected "Always use Log-in name for author name"
I know I can delete the author name in the properties box of any individual note, but is there any way to make a blank space the default author name?

PDF File - Author Name and Title

Product: Adobe Acrobat Standard Version 8.1.2
Product: Microsoft Access 2003 Windows XP Professional
Problem: When creating PDF documents using Microsoft Access forms as the source, the PDF document is created with a title and author other than what is desired. Thus I have to manually enter the desired information into the PDF document.
Question 1: Where is the default information (author and title) being sourced from?
Question 2: How do I change this default information.

You can edit the Name in Acrobat/Reader's Identity object, but login name is pass from the OS. But changing the Name in the identity object will not change the "Author" name of the PDF. You could try setting the Author/User name in FrameMaker's properties. If that does not work, you can create an Acrobat menu item, tool bar button, or batch process to change the "Author" name value in the PDF's by using JavaScript.

DSC Log Insert Names To Spreadsheet Header

Hello,
I'm using DSC to log, and use a "Write Traces to Spreadsheet File.vi" to export to a spreadsheet. My question is, is there a way I can include only the trace name in the header of the spreadsheet? Right now when I include names in the header it's the entire path where the trace is on my computer (i.e. C://mydocuments/user/labview/folder/folder/folder/Trace1) which is huge, I just need Trace1... just the name.
If there's no autamated way to do it with the "Write Traces to Spreadsheet File.vi" I can create my own header on the side and insert it, or write every name individually, it's just nice that it can automatically pull the whole path, so it would be great if it could pull just the names,

I did a bit of research and found that the headers that you currently see are the default format in LabVIEW. If you would like to change the format (i.e. show only the trace name rather than the path) you will have to do so after the fact. Thus, you would have to create the spreadsheet file with the full path as the header, then use a "read spreadsheet file VI" to programmatically make changes. As for using your own header, yes you can do that as well. But again, you would have to do so after the fact. I have included link to an example of creating a simple header for you to use as a starting point.

How to stop gweb server from returning server info in the header

Hello all,
Does anyone know how to prevent the GWEB server from returning the server name in the header? it returns LV_HTTP/1.0 by default. adding "servertokens prod" does not work. Is there something that can be added to one of the cfg files, or does anyone know where this is generated in the gweb server, perhaps its possible to edit or filter it inside of the server?

I have a few questions about your setup and application to assist you with this issue:
1.    What version of LabVIEW are you using?
2.    What version of National Instruments LabVIEW Internet Toolkit?
3.    What operating system?
4.    Why are you trying to prevent the server from returning the server name in the header? Are you trying to mask the server name (delete it/make it unreadable so the end user can’t see it)? Is this a privacy issue?
5.    Or, Are you trying to do data manipulation with your header and the name is causing a problem?
6.    Please provide me more information on your end use of your application.
Please reply to this thread with this information and we can get you the solution you need for your application.

Author Name Not Updated After XML Fix

I've searched high and low for a solution before posting this thread.
I'm on my 9th episode of my podcast. I've been on itunes since the first episode and my feed is through feedburner. I've always wondered why the Author name in the Itunes store is "Unknown" and wanted to get it fixed. A couple weeks ago I figured out how to update the XML information in feedburner and updated the Author name and pinged feedburner. Since then, Author name is STILL listed as Unknown.
Can anyone tell me what else I have to do for this to be updated?? It's just baffling to me that itunes is updating fine with my new episodes when I ping but is not picking up the Author info.
Please help!

Feedburner is not involved in this - iTunes is using the Libsyn feed and it's there that you need to make the amendment.
