Authoring cutting back half the light?

I am in a extremely messy situation. I cant what I am doing wrong. I shot a Ballet DVCPRO HD 720p 60p Direct capture into Final Cut. High Definition has such great quality in the RAW, and when I compress and Author the DVD, it *****, no detail, and I loose 1/2 the lighting. I am new to the post production side, and beg for your help. If anyone who works with DVCPro HD and 1 hour to DVD I would greatly appreciate it. Also am I suppose to be using a special DVD?

I actually check my FinalCut to Compressor Export against the frame of the FinalCut editing timeline image, and they are almost identical. NOW, When I pop in the DVD, Differnt story. Night an day on softness. Color and brigthenss is actaully brighter, and blurrier. Brigtheness is not night and day, I wish there was a way to take a snap shot of my DVD, but it says I can when DVD player is open. So to me, it seems as if DVDSP is doing something to it.

Phone keeps cutting back to the home screen

Hi
I was just wondering if anyone could help me, since last night my phone on most of my apps keeps cutting out and taking me back to my home screen. I cannot access my messages, calls, setting ect.. I can open things such as Facebook, Twitter and eBay but as soon as I click to type something on them they cut out as well. My lock screen button is broke so I can’t turn off my phone off and as said before I cant access my settings to update my phone if needed.

close all apps you are using, then resetyour idevice pressing and holding Home/Sleep buttons until turns it off and on again.

You can change the User Interface setting in General Preferences
Windows: Edit>Preferences... and choose Light from the User Interface drop down under General category

TS3700 have done this and reset my ipod, the music still cuts out when the backing light dims? any suggestions

I have a 6th generation Ipod nano (it is already a replacement after the firsts hold button broke within its warrenty) So now my replacement before it was even a year old has stopped working, the music cuts out when the screen goes dark. I have checked the earphone socket and tried different earphones, I have reset the ipod and still nothing has changed. the music still cuts out when the screen goes dark, any suggestions?

Call iPod tech support before your warranty runs out. Hopefully, you purchased AppleCare for the extra 2 years of piece of mind.

I deleted my note by accident i do have notes on icloud. so i had half the note saved but the other half was very important and hard to right. i restored my ipod on i cloud back up but it still doesnt show i put so much time in that anyway to get it back?

How did you delete the Note? If you did a "select all" and "cut", open the Note and shake your iPhone to undo the cut action.

As it was pointed out making prior arrangements could of helped extend the time you need to get your account back in order..
But if you have to have the phone and its the only thing you have to make calls, I would try other means ( Family, Friends, or other ) to get the rest of the balance payed and you can pay at a Corporate store using the stores Kiosk machine.! You can pay with Cash, Credit or I think with a check but using a check I'd ask the Local store how the policy is on that..

Final Cut Constantly crashes, Plus error code -600 half the time

Please someone help. I have the newest and fastest Imac available and final cut studio 2, all of the software is up to date. I'm currently running tiger. What is wrong. I've had no problems in the past, and recently the problems keep coming up more and more. I can't even open my project for more than 2 minutes before it will jam up on me. I have to force quit the program, then half the time I'll get error code -600. So I'll have to restart the computer and try again. I have my media files on an external hard drive. I don't know what is wrong. Is it because I have all the files including the project files on the hard drive? Anyone have any suggestions? Should I re-install my final cut program or move all my files from my external hard drive to the one and only internal one. (defeats the purpose of only being able to use one hard drive though.)

I'm using standard DV files. I've seached and searched for answers to this problem, and no one has answered anyone yet, other than try to update your software. I forgot to mention that also this system will not restart, and has to be forced off by holding down the power button, and also it loses an entire day of work! Twice it has done this to me. I have backups set to every 10 minutes, I also saved the project on 2 seperate files, and on seperate hard drives. Both projects reverted back to an entire day missing, back up files and all. I never lost this much data and work with premiere. The only reason I switched is because my TV Station uses final cut pro, and everyone hates it. I'm starting to find out why..... Is there a number I can call, the forums don't seem to have any answers, neither does google.

After my Macbook has been on for a little, the light goes out on the screen. When I start to close the screen the light comes back on. I can hold it in this position and keep typing/reading indefinitely.any idea what is the problem?

If I push it back open it cuts off again. So, I just leave it part way open and turn the laptop at an angle so that I can continue to see the screen & type. It acts like there is a short. It does sound like you might have a faulty video connection. See if you can make a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store.

If you have the chance stop by an Apple Retail store and talk to them about it...they often work deals for replacement of out of warranty non-working items for prices around half price. Won't hurt to stop by and see what they will do for you.

I have been watching a rental movie and the audio cut out half way through, tried restoring the apple TV now I've lost the rental.

I have just been watching (The Adjustment Bureau) a rental movie and about half way through the audio cut out, I tried rerunning the chapter but still the same problem so I tried the restoring function and now I have lost the 48 hrs viewing of the movie. So how do I get the movie back without paying for it again and is this problem likely to reoccoure and if so how do I rest without loosing the movie?

This must be a glitch in the movie file on the iTunes server because my husband and I just reached the same point in he film (The Adjustment Bureau) and no audio! Totally cuts out and doesn't come back in. We tried the same - turned off, signed out, and also couldn't see the rental in the menu... Sign out, sign back in and click 'Check for rentals' in the 'General' menu just under where you signed in.
It may come up with a negative 'no more rentals can be found' or similar but go back to the main screen and check anyway. It should be there.

Battery life cut in half all of the sudden

The battery in my macbook pro would last about 4 and a half hours browsing the internet and watching some youtube videos. but oddly just this morning after i unplugged it, it only lasted about 2 and half hours. I hadnt done anything but browse a few websites and watch some youtube videos. i tried draining the battery, and then recharging, but it didnt work.
the battery has been running hotter than normal lately, so the fan has been running more often as well. i thought maybe the fan constantly running would be the reason for the battery life issue, but would the fans really cause my battery life to be cut in half? i didnt have this problem this past summer, when temperatures were in the 80s and 90s and my macbook was hot all the time, the battery would still last normally.
what should i do about this?

ive done that. no unusual programs are running. and about watching youtube videos. why would it last 4 hours yesterday, and now. while doing something like browsing a website, something that should consume less battery. it only last 2 hours?

According to your description, I think this issue is caused by the IE browser that runs the report. To trouble shoot this issue, I suggest that we can try to clear internet temporary files, cookies and others in IE browser. And also add this site
as a trusted site in IE browser to check this issue again.
If this issue is still existed, it can also be occurred due to the setting or third party add-ons of Internet Explorer (IE). In this scenario, you can try to run IE in compatibility mode to check the issue again. Or I suggest that you can refer to the
steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
Click Tools -> Internet options.
Switch to the Security tab, click Local intranet, and then select Default level.
Switch to the Advanced tab, and click Restore advanced settings.

HT1178 My Time Capsule is only blinking amber. My computer tried to backup but I don't know how to tell if it did in fact back up the data. How can I tell if it backed up and why doesn't the light show green?

Just purchased a Time Capsule. Had to call Comcast to disable the WIFI and have internet connection. The time capsule though blinks amber and the Airport Utility shows blinking amber light and has a red circle with the number 1 in it. After connecting, my computer tried doing a backup for the first time and it appeared that it was backing up and finished although I don't know how to check to make sure that it did backup. How do I check and shouldn't the light on the time capsule be blinking green and the airport utility show green?

TM will show it has done a backup.. Look at the info.. when was the backup completed??

There is an error.. probably trivial.. firmware update, default password..
Open the airport utility and find out what the error is.
Simply click the TC and see status in the summary page.. it will list all the errors and what you should do.. fix or ignore them. ie this TC has an error.. default password.. I chose to ignore.. when I "fix" the problem the LED goes green.
Here is additional TC.. it is blinking amber with faults.
Click the fault. eg default password.
You can ignore or edit .. if you click edit it will take you to the full setup where you can change the settings.
I ignored my errors and now it is green..

I got a new PC. I was able to back up the old one and dowloaded my iTunes library. I keep getting a message that says: This computer is no longer authorized to play purchased items that are on this iPod." It asks me to authorize, which I have done 20 ti

My old PC died and I got a new one. I was able to back up the old PC and downloaded my iTunes library on the new PC. I keep getting a message saying: "This computer is no longer authorized to play purchased items that are on this iPod. Would you like to authorize this computer for the items purchased from the iTunes store?" I have authorized the new PC, but it continues to ask me over and over, and if I authorize it again, it tells me I already authorized. So frustrating! I deactivated the old PC and activated the new one.
Also, I purchased a song from iTunes store and while it shows in my library on the PC, it won't download to the iPod. Why won't the new song download to the iPod?
Any ideas. suggestions?
