Authorities and Resources ( infotype 1010 )

Hello gurus,
I'm not expert in HR and I need to use a table to HR to my workflow for release strategies. Now, I'm checking that the table HRP1010 is updated in base of Authorities and Resources ( infotype 1010 ), so, my question is: how can I update this table? Do I need to customize this info type 1010 first? Where I update this infotype, in wich transaction?

SRM/HR Replication - Infotype 1010:signing authority

Hello-
We are replicating the org plan and user info from our HR system to EBP. We would like to replicate the user data regarding signing authority to the spend/approval limit area in EBP.
However we have found that HR infotype (1010) which contains the approval info is not available in the HRMD_ABA IDOC thus making it more difficult to get the data from HR to EBP. We know we will need a custom process to update the user info on the EBP side, but the IDOC badis will work just fine for this.
We are looking for a way to get this additional infotype data sent to EBP with the existing IDOC. Has anyone else accomplished the transfer of infotype 1010? We are looking at extending the idoc or using custom RFCs to get the data, but we don't really like these options.

Brian,
We are facing a similar requirement with my client. Did you develop a custom program in SRM to map the IT1010 in SAP R/3 to the Spend/Approval Limit attribute int SRM or did you have to create a RFC call from SRM to R/3 during the workflow execution to read the IT1010 attribute?

Tracelog is nearly identical on the "key not present" error, after
authorized, the request (which i can see is a read/get) is switched back to
denied.
The only thing that in common in all errors in the tracelog is that it occurs on a get of a guid/reference.
In Portal everthing is working like expected i see no errors, all data is displayed like it should, not resources oder value are missing.
But at the most places I click in portal it generates one of the to event, even if I switch from one user tab to another, but only this ones which holds group reporting controls (no errors on tab where manager and assistant are displayed).
Eventlogs also apperas on displaying all users or searching for them and even in request history and MPR list.
I am the initial administrator and in addition give (for testing) explicit read to all objects with all attributes to the admin set
So the problem is not that urgent as all is working like expected but it fills up my eventlog, making it hard to seperate this errors from real issues.
Environment ist FIM 2010 R2 Sp1 with latest Hotfix (4.1.3496.0) running on SharePoint Foundation 2013 on a Server 2008 R2. SP2013 was installed with the help on the guide from FimSpecialist.
Anyone a hint on how to solve this ?

HR LDB PNP and customer infotypes in 640

I encountered the following problem during an upgrade from 4.6C to SAP ERP Central Component 5.0. When using logical database PNP and customer infotypes the syntax check produces the following syntax error:

I have added an example program below. Prerequisite for this program is that the cutomer infotype 9731 exists in the system.
Has anyone experienced this problem before? And if so, is there a solution? I can program some workarounds, but I prefer a solution, which does not involve changing my code.

Project Management and Resource Management Reporting Views

I am wondering if anyone would have and is willing to share some documentation they may have put together around reporting views related to Project Management and Resource Management modules. We are installing the projects suite and I have never done custom reporting out of these modules and would be interested in feedback or documentation anyone may have related to these or any offer of assistance or direction in designing the reporting views.

What I can say. Maybe you should use SAP PPM as a operational Project Management tool and integrate it with WBS elements and projects in SAP PS. Probably it will be the best solution for you.
The second way is to use a second project structure for project management as you wrote, with different number of this project. So you will have 2 structures one for actual posting of costs and the second for rest management needs and statistical posting of costs. Probably you will need CO substitution for posting of costs to post costs on these 2 structures.
There will be many other conditions to get right solution but I think this 2 ways are possible.

Check using below FM and try to develop a legacy data upload prog
RHPA_APPRAISAL_DELETE - To delete the appraisal
RHPA_APPRAISAL_ACTIVATE - To activate appraisal before modification
RHPA_APPRAISAL_READ - To change rating and status for an employee
RHPA_APPRAISAL_1045_MODIFY - To modify rating and change date for appraisal
RHPA_APPRAISAL_HISTORICIZE - To change status of appraisal to completed
Performing all actions in order should help to load appraisals.

The problem of connect and resource role

Hi,
As we know, that while crating a new user, we can assign connect and resource so that the user can access the system tablespace.
The problem that i got is instead of assigning the connect and resource role, i have assigned each and every privilege individually from this role. But, surprisingly, my user has not got the privilege o accessing the system tablespace.
I was working in oracle 9i database. Can anyone help me in this regard and tell me what is the reason behind this?

Assigning Role to a Task and Resource to a Task

Hello Friends,
In cProjects, I go to the below tab Projects > Resources > Tasks.
Here I do an assignment of Role to a Task and assignment of Resource to a Task.
Could you please tell me as to where does this information gets stored.(ie which tables).
And could you pleae tell me as to how do we differentiate between the Task, Roles and Resources in the internal table created.
Because the internal table consists of Task Guid, Participant Guid and Entity Guid.

Link between PDS name and resource

Hi folks,
I've established a link between /SAPAPO/TRPROD and Setup Matrices using PDS name and resource to use in a custom extractor for BI. This works well starting out at /SAPAPO/TRPROD and working my way over to the Setup Matrix tables using function modules BAPI_PDSSRVAPS_GETLIST and BAPI_RSSRVAPS_GETLIST.
Now I want to validate that it's correct that I'm getting 0 results in a test system. Since /SAPAPO/TRPROD has some 3000 entries and /SAPAPO/SET_MID only 2, I figured it'd be easier if I take those two matrices and see if I can link them back to /SAPAPO/TRPROD (where I won't get any results). Does this make sense so far?
Moving on ... I've found that in table /SAPAPO/RES_HEAD I can find the resource associated with a Setup Matrix. I can't figure out though how to link the resources to the PDS. Any ideas?

You say that you want to link the resources with the PDS, right? Do you mean that you want to find a way to discover the resource associated with the PDS activities? If so, you can do that by reading the activity information of the PDS and getting the resource maintained there...
But I don't fully understand your business requirement... So let me know if I got your issue wrong.

Read infotype 1010

Hi all,
i created a new subtype for infotype 1010. I added one occurence in this infotype, the HRP1010 table is filled.
Now i want to read this occurence, so i use FM RH_READ_INFTY_NNNN or FM RH_READ_INFTY or FM RH_PM_READ_INFTY.
This FMs gives me not one line but 9 lines, i don't know why.
Of course i can use SELECT command but i prefer to use FM.
Need help.

When all your conditions are satisfied, You can get the updated values from the contexts which you are using to update in the contexts by which you are displaying it on the screen.
You need not to fetch the data from the back end.

Find below characteristics of few applicant infotypes.
1. IT4000(Applicant action):-The Applicant Actions infotype (4000) serves as a record of all applicant actions carried out for an applicant. These applicant actions can be:
Data entry procedures (e.g. Initial entry of basic data, Enter additional data )
Procedures that change the overall status of the applicant (e.g. Reject applicant, Put applicant on hold)
The time constraint for this infotype is 1.
2. IT4001(Applications):- The Applications infotype (4001) is used to store information on whether an application was made in response to an advertisement, or is an unsolicited application.
The time constraint for this infotype is 3.
3. IT4002 (Vacancy Assignment):-You can assign the applicant to a vacancy. The applicant will then be included in the selection procedure for this vacancy. The applicantu2019s vacancy assignment status shows where the applicant is in the selection procedure.
The time constraint for this infotype is 2.
4. IT4003 (Applicant Activities):- Applicant activities are administrative stages through which an applicant passes during the course of the application procedure. Correspondence with applicants is also handled by means of applicant activities.
The time constraint for this infotype is 3.
5. IT4004 (Status of Applicant Activity):-The Status of Applicant Activity (4004) infotype is a technical infotype that stores the status of the activities you have performed for the applicant.
6. IT4005 (Applicantu2019s Personnel Number):-The system enters this number automatically in the corresponding Applicantu2019s Personnel Number infotype (4005) for all internal applicants. This means that it contains a data record for each internal applicant.
The time constraint for this infotype is B.
7. IT0139 (Employeeu2019s Applicant Number):- This infotype can be used for following purposes.
An external applicant enters the company as an employee.
The internal applicant who is already a company employee occupies the vacant position

Hi,
You need to click on the 'Resource Selection' button on the top left hand corner of the create event screen.
If you do not see any resources there, it means you have not added resources to your event type. Go to PP01, and create relationship A022 (requires resource type).
For rooms and materials, this is fine. For instructors, you need to create relationship A026 (is held by) also.

The relationship is that an employees basic salary and its related components are stored here and are paid based on the working hours of the employee which is obtained from Infotype 0007 and multiplied by the capacity utilzation which under normal circumstances is 100 %. If the employee belonging to the same pay scale group and level works part time say half of the normal time, you can maintain his capacity utilisation as 50% instead of maintaining seperate values in the wage types.
