I need to allow only selected user to view their test package and the list of transaction so i need to have a authorization check by using enhancement i got struck since i am not able to find any badi for this ..kindly looking back your suggestion

Yes, you can create project structure before using solar01 tcode. later once your test cases (either manual or automatic) are ready then you can upload them using solar02 on test cases tab,

SAP Solution Manager for SAP Business Suite On HANA

Dear Experts,
I have a small question regarding the available installation options for SAP Solution Manager for SOH.
Is there other available database platforms for the installation of SAP Solution Manager than the SAP HANA Database ?
Meaning that if we have a customer who has the license for SAP HANA Database, does he have other database options for installing the Solution Manager that are covered by the HANA license ?

Well if you can find the solution manager software for a DB other than HANA in service market then you can install.
You can check this by checking the service market SAP Technology Components" ==> SAP SOLUTION MANAGER" ==> SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1
HANA is so fast why choose another DB?

I have previously looked at the note you suggest but it only seems to contain, for the ERP 6.0 HR module , the support pack 29 (along with SPs for other applications). I've also looked at notes 1156006 for stack 13 which also contains SP29, note 1129210 for stack 12 which contains SP27. These are the only Support Stacks I can find that contain any HR SPs above 24. Note 1081261 for stack 11 has SP22 which is not applicable as we are at SP level 24.
I cannot seem to find any documentation for any of the other support packs 25, 26, 28, 30-34. I know the one for 35 is supposed to be released today so hopefully there will be something put out for that one soon.
Any other help you can provide to point me to the documentation for the other SPs for ERP 6.0 HR would be greatfully appreciated. Again, thank you for your time in responding.

SOLMAN_SETUP will guide you to setup SOLMAN, after you setup you gotta make sure that everything is green or resolve the errors.
SMSY---> Ssystem Check RFC Connections,check the SLDCHECK.

No ICF authorization CHECK for executing /sap/bc/bsp/sap/hap_document

In EP we are trying to access bsp
and we are getting error ,User T000209 (client 350) has no ICF authorization CHECK for executing /sap/bc/bsp/sap/hap_document
How to give authorization please help

First Check is the ICF service is active using the SICF transaction.
Then Check for the authorization objects SAP_HR_HAP_EMPLOYEE
and SAP_HR_HAP_MANAGER.
Add the above roles to your user , it should work

EWA: error message in CRM check for SAP Solution Manager system

In EWA report for SAP Solution Manager system I have seen error message: Many CSA* inbound queues in error status were detected in your system. As a result of this BDocs have not been delivered. And then table

Hi,
Usually problems with hanaging CSA* queues are caused because too many
indiviaual queues are created for the qRFC resources to handle. You can
limit the number of queues as described in note 763680.
Note 763680 would be useful if all of your qRFC resourcesa are in use
when you have a great number of queues. With a large number of dialog
WPs on the system it would probably make sense to reduce the amount
as described in the note.
the casue when you have this problem would be to check SMQR -> GOTO ->
qRFC resources. You can also see if most of your dailog WPs are in use
in SM50.
Also refer to note 758677.
Please schedule report RSQIWKEX (Inbound) to run as described in the
note.
And since your title has mentioned that the EWA is on your CRM satellite system; this maybe a further good reference too
When you replicate lots of data from CRM to R/3, there could be a qRFC
resource problem. In this case, the numebr of queues created can be
reduced by implementing the attached note 356228, particularly solution
2.
For CSA* queues is slightly different from the one decribed in note;
this is because the CSA queues exchange data within the CRM system.
The steps described should be followed, except that table SMOFQFIND
must be used instead of CRMQNAMES. In this table, fields TR_SNAEMS and
SEGM_FLD are equivalent to the CRMQNAMES fieds BAPISTRUCT and BAPIFLD
respectively. It should be possible to follow the solution 2 in the
note as long as you use SMOFQFIND instead of CRMQNAMES.

How to set up approval process for test case in SAP solution manager?

Hi Experts,
We need to setup a 2 level approval process for test case documents in SAP Solution Manager.
e.g. If test case document is uploaded for transaction "MM01" then first it will go to Reviewer1. Once Reviewer1 approves it , should go to Reviewer2.
Adn finally once reviewer2 approves it , it will be complete.
What are the required configurations and steps for approval process setup? It will be helpful if screenshots and detailed steps are provided.

I am trying to create a project and its component in SAP Solution Manager with 12 Test Plans. The Test Plans have different number of test cases. I do not have the Test cases now, but I shall have them in future. I currently have the following data.

Transaction Codes
Priority of Test Cases
Can I create a structure of a project in the development system in which I have 12 Test Plans and n number of Test Cases under every Test Plan? The structure would have place holder for each test case in which I can upload the Test Cases later. Is that possible?

Authorization Check for Storage Location

Hi Experts,
I have the following requirement :-
I have Plant : P081 created under Company Code : P110.
I have got various Storage Locations under this Plant for example
KT01 - Main Stores
KT24 - Remote Store.
The KT24 store is basically a remote location store. I have activated the Authorization for the Storage Location KT24 in the SPRO Settings
Material Management --> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory --> Authorization Management --> Authorization check for storage location.
I have maintain the following authorizations for the Object M_MSEG_LGO as follows :-
1. OBJECT : M_MSEG_LGO.
>> 2. USER ID : 081Store
>> 3. PLANT : P081
>> 4. STORAGE LOCATION : Kt24
>> 5. ACTIVITY : 01-03
>> 6. MOVEMENT : 101, 102, 201, 221, 261
and authorization for T_code MIGO_GR and MIGO_GI . I want to restrict the user for transaction only for this storage location but the system is allowing the user to post GR document for KT01 stores also.
Can any one suggest a solution or settings that need to be done for the user to be restricted to prepared GR for Storage Location KT24 only.

Hi,
You set the authorizations to users with tcode PFCG. To know the reason of deny some access run tcode SU53 after SAP denies the access to some documents / objects.

i m working as a portal resource .
after the deployment of standered Sap e-rec package .
i m getting some error. i have assigned the recruiter role to one test user.
Now i m getting two issue:
1)All the services are appearing in Detailed Navigation Pannel but not in Portal content area..
2) I m able to see few iview for the test user but those are also in detailed navigation view.
And few ivews are giving following error :
i)Internal error

You can run a quick check using the below steps:
1. Check in backend whether there is any authorisation errors... you may use transactions SU53 or ST22 for any ABAP errors
2. Also check in NWA -> log viewer -> last 24 hours log for the particular user to see any java related issues.

The PNP database will take care of authorization check. It will not execute if used does not have authorizations.

This cannot be done by using standard auth object. Standard SAP doesnt support control via this field.
Take help of your ABAP team and create an customized authorization object "Z_OBJECT" with field SOBKZ and which check these field value in table EQBS. Assign this auth object to role and profile you want.
Use the user exit IEQM0003 Additional checks before equipment update. Give a logic to check auth object when while using equipment change tcode.
