Authorization for Z Program for creating entries

I have created a dialog program to maintain employee details with menus Create, Change, Display
My concern is that i want to restrict some user for creating entries in database table through this dialog program those users only authorize to display data.
Please guide me how to do achieve above.

You can make use of the system variable sy-uname which holds the user logon name. Based on this u can decide whether to allow the user in edit mode or display mode.

There is no std business process in SAP for Gate pass for the Material entry
before GR stock entry into the stores.
You have to write a Z program based on the details of Purchase order tables EKKO and EKPO.
This will mainly check whether the correct PO qty was delivered or not with proper quality.
So use the PO tables EKKO and EKPO and fetch the data and use it
Since this is client specific there is no feneralised program for it.

Looking for antivirus program for ipad2???

I have performed an extensive search for antivirus program for iPad2. I am told we don't need it with iPad, but I really don't feel comfortable without one. Does anyone have any ideas?

Rudegar is 100% correct on IOS, Safari, and the Apple app store. It's virtually impossible to get a virus on an iPad using the system the way Apple has set it up. They take great pains to keep it safe as well. Here is where the user could open themselves to vulnerabilities.
1) there are other online 'app stores'. If you use them and expect the same level of vigilance Apple gives then you expect far too much.
2) when you hook you iPad to a PC, it is essentially an external hard drive to the PC. It is possible for the PC to put infected files on your iPad. Will these files affect your iPad, no... But your iPad could transport the infected files to another vulnerable PC and infect it.
3) there are many iPad apps that allow you to share iPad files on the wireless network. This, when coupled by the previous point is why some networks will not allow iPads without a/v software. There is a potential for them to be a virus carrier. It hasn't happened yet, but security people deal in possibilities, openings, risks, and mitigations. There is a potential risk here going to them with anything less than a quantitative study from NSA will be viewed as slightly less believable than a fairy tale.

Looking for comprehensive program to create pdf file from gif image

I'm looking for a program that can transform gif image file into pdf file. It is very importent to keep the same quality of the output document as the original image.
I've seen Bridge CS5 in action and was very much disapointed, because the original gif image had 2 colors: black and white, took 60k Byte A4 paper size. But the output pdf file became somehow to 700k Byte size. When our proffi tried to lower the ppi or quality bar there was direct impact on the image quality.
Long time ago Photoshop was able to export images as pdf files and one of the options of the pdf file was to keep the original image as gif, not as jpeg. Because jpeg is very costy format for black-white images and no-one wants to waste memory in vain, so I do not like to save pdf files of 1MB size for an image that takes 100k in gif.
I do understand that nowdays using Photoshop to save pdf files is not the option anymore, isn't it ?
What program can you suggest me to use ? I still prefer to use Adobe products, as long as I can, through I'm starting to get scared of sharp decline in quality.

No, I didn't. The last time I saw it, it was looking just as a regular Reader with a little more options and with an addon to MS-Office, to allow to save MS documents to pdf from inside MS-Office user interface products, and frankly, I do not highly admire there products at all, so I do not have MS-Office installed. But it was also long time ago. If the situation did changed since than, I will try it.

I'm looking to purchase some software to create online
training lessons. The lessons would consist of screen shots, dialog
boxes, narration, possibly animation. Given that Captivate has
Flash, I'm hopeful that it would do the trick and be somewhat
user-friendly given that I'm not a programmer. If there are other
Adobe products or products made by another company that you could
recommend, I'd be in your debt.

If you're creating software training, I agree Captivate is
the best tool
around. A close second for that type of training is Camtasia.
They both
can output to SWF. Captivate can also output to .FLA for
editing in
Flash directly (and version 2.0 supposedly handles this a lot
better
than 1.0). I'm not sure if Camtasia can export to .FLA...
If your training courseware may extend beyond software,
perhaps into
things like process or conceptual training, Authorware may be
a better
solution. However as it's a much more fully-featured, true
'authoring'
program, the learning curve is a bit steeper.

Looking for GPS program for TX, NOT navigation

Hi all. I tried searching but couldn't find my answer. Is there a GPS program that would work on the TX that would just display the long. and lat. of my position? I don't need maps or naviagtion assistance.

answer. I have done some research on this topic and found that most major
manufacturers offer this on their GPS systems. It is know and route/trip
planner or something along those lines. I looked through a few GPS systems and didn’t
see that this option was included in the features. This either means that it is
such a standard feature that they don’t note it, or the models I looked at just
don’t have it.
I would consult with a GPS sales associate at your local
Best Buy® store to see if the unit you are interested in definitely has it. Sorry

Does the Design and Web Premium for students program for Mac allow multiple downloads on other Mac computers? Can this program be upgraded to be used on windows as well?

I am a university student that requires a second computer. However, I do not want to purchase a second Adobe Suite Design and Web Premium Program. Does this program allow for multiple downloads? I have a Mac laptop, and I bought the Mac version of the program, is there a way to upgrade it to use it on windows? Or will it only download on a Mac device?

Chances are your license is only for the Mac platform.
You are not really limited in the number of times you might download - just the number of installations you can have activated. You can have activated installations on two machines, though they both have to be running the same platform. If it is CS6 you can request a platform swap,but that doesn't sound like what you wish to do.

Authorization
For authorization checks, there are many ways of linking authorization objects with user actions in an SAP system. The following discusses three possibilities in the context of ABAP programming.
Authorization Check for Transactions
You can directly link authorization objects with transaction codes. You can enter values for the fields of an authorization object in the transaction maintenance. Before the transaction is executed, the system compares these values with the values in the user master record and only starts the transaction if the appropriate authorization exists.
Authorization Check for ABAP Programs
For ABAP programs, the two objects S_DEVELOP (program development and program execution) and S_PROGRAM (program maintenance) exist. They contains a field P_GROUP that is connected with the program attribute authorization group. Thus, you can assign users program-specific authorizations for individual ABAP programs.
Authorization Check in ABAP Programs
A more sophisticated, user-programmed authorization check is possible using the Authority-Check statement. It allows you to check the entries in the user master record for specific authorization objects against any other values. Therefore, if a transaction or program is not sufficiently protected or not every user that is authorized to use the program can also execute all the actions, this statement must be used.
AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT object

object is the name of an authorization object. With name1, name2 ... , and so on, you must list all fields of the authorization object object. With f1, f2 ... , and so on, you must specify the values that the system is to check against the entries in the relevant authorization of the user master record. The AUTHORITY-CHECK statement searches for the specified object in the user profile and checks the useru2019s authorizations for all values of f1, f2 ... . You can avoid checking a field name1, name2 ... by replacing FIELD f1 FIELD f2 with DUMMY.
After the FIELD addition, you can only specify an elementary field, not a selection table. However, there are function modules available that execute the AUTHORITY-CHECK statement for all values of selection tables. The AUTHORITY-CHECK statement is supported by a statement pattern.
Only if the user has all authorizations, is the return value sy-subrc of the AUTHORITY-CHECK statement set to 0. The most important return values are:
·        0: The user has an authorization for all specified values.
·        4: The user does not have the authorization.
·        8: The number of specified fields is incorrect.
·        12: The specified authorization object does not exist.
A list of all possible return values is available in the ABAP keyword documentation. The content of sy-subrc has to be closely examined to ascertain the result of the authorization check and react accordingly.

Well, I've got Windows 7 all up and running, and now, I'm looking for a program for Windows that's similar to OnyX. I know Windows has the "Disk Cleanup" feature, but it's really not that great.

For Allocation Program For Correspondence i have given the Correspondence and company code in OB78
I don't Know what to give in the Form Name For Correspondence Print?
and also i don't know which program i have to copy and change to ZProgram and where to assign it?

you will get directly the print program and its form name... the default print program is RFKORD00.

PO Output For Communication Program is not Submitting in Background PO appr

Hi Gurus,
We are working on "PO Output For Communication" Program.We created a Standard Purchase Order and Approved it through the "E-Mail" option checked."PO Output For Communication" program was not submitted in the background.
From the workflow we found that it was stucked at PO new Communication Process.
As the value of column "po_output_format" is NULL in the "PO_SYSTEM_PARAMETERS" table it is not submitting in background.
Already in the front end
Purchasing responsibility->setup->organizations->purchasing options
under Documnet control we assigned Output format column as "PDF".
Will you please provide us your valuable solution as soon as possible.

I mean that this program actually sends an email (or fax or print) along with the PO in PDF attachment or in the TEXT format.

Recommendations for Lyrics Program?

I would like to solicit recommendations for a program for PC that will automatically download lyrics for existing mp3 songs. Said program should:
1) Only download lyrics for selected songs, or at least NOT overwrite existing songs with lyrics
2) Preferably be free
3) Work with latest version of iTunes or works independently by selecting directories of files whose lyrics you want updated.
4) Work on windows PC
Any recommendations?
