Authorization - have searched many times and nothing works!
Okay so I've recently acquired a used ipod from a friend. She had restored it on her computer before giving it to me. When i plugged in the ipod, it sync'd all of my songs except in the purchased section, it sync'd 16 and said I wasn't authorized to play the other 47 on my computer. On my other ipod, this doesn't happen.
I have tried restarting my computer, I've tried to download the newest version of itunes but ever since I've had itunes it says there's been an error installing, but this is nothing new. Anyways I still have version 9.
I've deauthorized and reauthorized itunes on all my computer's accounts. I've deleted the SC file or whatever that is.
I've also tried restoring this second hand ipod again, but it says it cannot restore due to unknown error (1430 or 1436).
What should I do?

My paper work for my linksys says WEP 64 bits. I've tried changing my IPOD to that and it will say put in password and when I do I get "invalid password" or can not connect. I disabled my iPhone 4 and while doing a restore via iTunes, it is downloading and timing out so the download is not completing. any idea how to get past that? I have tried many times and the same error keeps happening.
You need to force the phone into recovery mode, as described here, & restore it:

this morning my PB G4 would not get to the password screen after power on. I have rebooted many times and very loud noises (like a HD spinning/rubbing) emits. Tried the Install disk and it cannot find the hard drive. Ran HW test and got a "Mass storage Error Code" message.
Did my HD just crash and unrecoverable? Time to replace my notebook?I believe your hard drive has failed. Hope you have a backup.

My ipod nano 6th gen wont charge, turn on or respond to anything i have done. I have tried the troubleshooting and nothing works. I have droped it once but it work for about a month after and i havent wet it. any tips would be much apriciated! thanks
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

If you are using OTA (over-the-air) update on the device itself (Settings>General>Software Update and only available under iOS 5.x or above), try updating it through iTunes instead by connecting the device to your syncing PC.

When I follow the directions about deleting bookmarks by clicking on the bookmark, then clicking on the blue star and then clicking on delete bookmark, it will work with some but not all my bookmarks. I have noticed that the ones that won't work appear to be marked in unsorted bookmarks rather than bookmarks menu.
I have tried many different ways to delete these bookmarks but nothing works. Some of these bookmarked pages need to be signed in and I no longer have a way to sign in or want to sign in.
I just want to delete the bookmark. Please help.This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Hello - I have been getting error message 13019 all afternoon and I have never had that before. I have listened to all the suggestions on this site and nothing has helped. And know I have lost all the music off my ipod (luckily it is still on itunes) I really need this figured out asap since I leave on vacation in 4 days! Please somebody help. When you open iTunes and plug in iPhone (iPod) to computer, it appear in the left bar. Then just simply right click on you iPhone (iPod) and choose Transfer Purchases, this should copy your purchased items to your computer.

I had to same problem. I found forums about adding the DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in System Preferences - Networks I did that and it still didnt work. Just found another forum saying to go into System Preferences - Time and Date and check the Set time and Date automatically. And it worked for me. Hope it works for you too.

Every time I want to buy an app I get this message saying "You need to answer security questions first" and the problem is I forgot the answers to these questions, it showed me that if I forgot my answers I should visit Appleid.apple.com and send a "reset security questions e-mail", I pressed on that link, signed in then pressed on this option "Send reset security info email to c*****@hotmail.com" I typed my email *the same Apple account email* and it showed me that the "reset security questions e-mail" has been sent to my account, I logged in to my account and found nothing, I tried waiting but nothing happened, I did the whole same thing many times, sending the "reset security questions e-mail" but I received nothing on my email. What should I do?

If it's not there, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

I updated my printer this morning from the app store. since then the connection does not work. I cant add it through the computer. The printer also doesnt recognize my computer in the network (to which it is appropriately connected)

My iPhone 5S does not 'hold' my finger prints. I am frustrated. I must reinstall my prints alomost daily. I have tried every finger - more than once. I have tried lotioning my hands, even though they weren't dry - per a GENIUS person's suggestion.
I am nearly a replacement for this device as a last resort.
