Authorization Issue: authority-checks in APO are only warnings

Dear Experts,
How can we provide display access to transaction /SAPAPO/BOD001 in SAP APO system.
I have created a test role only with the transaction /SAPAPO/BOD001
and made inactive the all the authorization object except s_tcode.
when user is executing the transaction getting message not authorized to change
but when clicking ok in the message, screen is navigated to create or change the BOD
Also user is able to delete the BOD
user is assigned with only this test role, no other roles assigned.
please advise what can be done to provide only display access to BOD.

Transaction: /SAPAPO/BOD001 : Maintain BOD is for maintain purpose only.
Below transactions are available for display purpose:
/SAPAPO/PROD2BODDISP Display Assignment-> Products to BOD
/SAPAPO/PROD_DISP Display Products Assigned to a BOD
These transactions can be used for the display purpose.
It is not possible to provide display only access using transaction: /SAPAPO/BOD001 without customizing it.

I have configured our own WAS as described in the tutorial. Here I tried to set up the username and password and I was able to send the request.
But I'm just accessing the test system and it is there I get the error.

Issues with Analysis Authorization checks in APO

Hi Friends,
I am facing an issue with Analysis authorization checks in APO.
We have setup user access based on Management Entity (Analysis authorization - AGMMGTENT and 0TCAACTVT) and core APO authorizations (based on the work profile - e.g: Demand Planner).
Scenario: Consider User A has access to India and Australia Management Entities with 0TCAACTVT - *
This user also has display access to all management Entities (AGMMGTENT - * and 0TCAACTVT - 03). This scenario works very well in Quality where the RSECADMIN trace shows check on both Characteristics. However in Production the RSECADMIN trace shows up only against AGMMGTENT (*) and by default takes 0TCAACTVT as (*).
In Quality the Characteristics that get checked are as below : and it works as expected. Display access for Management Entities that are supposed to be displayed only and change access to only the Management Entities that it should.
However the Trace for Production shows the following : As a result it is allowing the user to change access to all management Entities. Which is not desirable..
Resultant trace results are as below: This should not happen..
I have compared all Analysis Authorizations and it is same across both Instances. The Demand planner access is consistent too..
Will it be possible for you to advise on what could I be missing.

If it helps, in Quality: the Authorization checks are listed as: Subselection (Technical SUBNR) 1
while in Production it checks Subselection (Technical SUBNR) 1 in one place, however where it fails - the check happens as Subselection (Technical SUBNR) 0.
Is there a way we can change this to SUBNR 1. Is there any table entry that I can look at to check if the Authorization check is functioning incorrectly..

About Authorization and Deauthorization.
Follow the instructions in the above link to deauthorize all and then authorize only the computers that you physically have access to and need authorized.

Authority Check issue

Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue in an authority-check statement in a standard program.
The role corresponding to the authorization object has been assigned to a user. But the user is getting the authorization error message that he does have the authorization.
However if the user gets into debugging mode, the program is executed Successfully. The authorization error message is not triggered in debug mode.
Please provide your valuable suggestions and solution to fix up this issue.

Hi,
You may need to contact your basis and get more information on how they have setup the authorization for the role.
In general, if this scenario is in production, it should not be the case as you have described. No User is given debug rights except those from the prodn.support dev.team. Maybe the role is not assigned properly to the user.

HT1420 Why is it telling me I need to authorize my computer when this is the only computer I have authorized? It said I've authorized over 5. What should I do?

I am using the same computer that I have had for over 5 years. I purchased music on this computer. This is the only computer I use. Then I got a new ipod because my old ipod won't play anymore podcast and now itunes is saying that I can't authorize my computer to play any of my music I purchased because I have authorized too many computers. What should I do? I can't deactivate any computers that I don't know about.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can't (only) de-authorise computers you no longer have access to.
Your only option is to de-authorise all your computers and then re-authorise those you wish to be authorised. You can do this by logging into your account settings in iTunes on your computer (Store > View My ID) and selecting the option to de-authorise all.
Please note however, you are only permitted to do this once in each 12 month period, therefore you would be better de-authorising your computers before you lose access to them. you can do this from the 'Store' menu in iTunes.

Go step by step and test.
1. System Preferences > Other/ Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
     Press the "Delete All" button
     Install Adobe Flash Player.

    Follow the prompts.
    Quit Safari.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Enable Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security

    Press " Manage Website Settings" button for more options.
3. Check whether you are currently in YouTube HTML 5 trial.

    At the bottom left of the page uncheck the box beside
   "You are currently in the HTML5 trial".
4. Reset Safari.
    Click Safari in the menu bar.
    From the drop down select "Reset Safari".
    Click "Reset".
5. Turn off Extensions, if any.
    Safari > Preferences > Extensions
     Now try YouTube.

Cost element group authorization check on controlling area level

Hi!
When maintaining cost element groups (KAH1, KAH2, KAH3) is it possible to run an authorization check on controlling area level?
We have one global chart of account but several controlling areas. When we create a cost element group it is created at chart of account level for all the controlling areas. When someone changes a cost element group it changes in all controlling areas. I cannot restrict user's authorization to be able to change cost element groups only in their own controlling area.
Is it possible somehow?

Like how the global chart of accounts is at the client level, the cost element groups are also independent of the controlling areas. Infact, the cost element groups are created at the global COA level.
In such a case, I don't think it is possible to restrict the authorizations to amend the cost element groups at controlling area level.

My account states I'm authorized 5 computers however I only have 2 computers that are working, how do you account for the 3 that are not working

If a computer is authorized but is discarded withour deauthorizing, it continues to count as an authorized computer.
But, it is simple enough to "Deauthorize All" and then re-authorize just the ones that you are still really using.

I have created a navigation system on the master pages and set the presentation to links only mode. I also have other links scattered throughout the program, like a linkable table of contents, etc. Some of them work, some of them don't. Not sure why. Anyone out there having similar issues? Or have any idea on how I can solve this issue? Any help would be appreciated!

Links should not create any problems in Keynote. If they are set up correctly on text, the text will be underlined. Objects that have links will have a curved arrow bottom right, if you click the arrow a popup will display the link information.
Try this repair for Keynote, ensure you complete all the tasks and in the order shown:

delete all the iWork applications if you have them, not just Keynote, using Appcleaner from Mac Update, its a freeware application

empty the trash: Finder > Empty Trash

Shut down your Mac, wait 30 seconds, then power on the Mac, immediately after the start chime, hold down the Shift key
When you see the grey Apple symbol and progress indicator (a spinning gear), release the Shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, then hold down the Shift key again as you click Log in.

Let the Mac fully boot up, it will take longer as the OS is repairing the drive

when fully booted, go to Applications > Utilities > Disc Utility; click on the boot drive then First Aid tab and click repair disc permissions

when complete, restart the Mac normally, Apple menu > Restart

install Keynote from the Mac App Store

What the message says. In iTunes g the the Store tab in ther upper part of the screen and then clink on Authorize this computer.

Authorisations only applies to computers, not to devices. Have you had other computers in the past and/or updated the OS on your current computers without deauthorising them ? You can safely 'deauthorise all' computers as described on the page that you posted from, it doesn't remove any content from them, it just means that you won't be able to use your iTunes downloads on them until you reauthorise them (which you should be able to do immediately).

Authority Check business area / trading partner business area in FB50

Through FB50, the authorization object F_BKPF_GSB controls the business area and the trading partner business area
We are looking to authorize users on all trading part business area) but only on their business area (currently handle with org levels in PFCG).
Any idea?

Srinivas is right. The validation only works when a CO document is being created due to a posting or allocation and not at the point of filling in master data. If you have business area active in your company code then you must include a business area. I think the best you can do in this case is to either deactivate the business area in company or create a dummy business area.
