Authorization Issue to Upload file in Integrated Planning

Hi All
I have included the planning role for the user...which is the same as mine..I can execute and upload  the file..when I login with the user iD, it says you are not authorize to upload zFILE_SEQ/...in my role..there is Z* values also..
No idea how to rectify as I dont see any problem??
pppls help..

Hi,
Could you please look into the authorizations that restrict data selection for the user, say if he control one or two costcenters and you have access to all costcenters. Also you need to have that object in the Aggregation level that allow the user selection. You need to include that info object restriction based on authorization value in the aggregation level and in the upload file.
Also try to execute the input ready query from RSECADMIN T-CODE . Use the 3rd tab and choose the user id and choose with log .Then on the next screen will be RSRT and choose your input ready query and execute. Then choose back button and the pervious screen choose display log, which will give you detail log on the authorization issue ...
hope it helps...
cheers,
Balaji

  • Authorization issue with upload functionality

    Hi,
I have issue with authorization with upload functionality.
we have country as authorization relavant field. if we are giving some country authorization to user it is giving authorization error at upload functionality.
But if we give all country authorization than it is working fine.
Could you guide me how to avoid this situation. We can not give all country authorization to all the users.
    Thanks,
    Naman Shah

    Hi Naman,
    For SAP BPS
Here while defining a variable you can set the user authorization and can determine which all records can be seen by the user.
For eg. Create a variable for country with replacement type User-specific values. Here you can assign values to a particular user id.
    Please check for more details:

    For SAP IP
Please Check: User Authorization in SAP IP

  • DW CS5 -- Issues with uploading files to server

Hi everyone -- I recently took over control of a website that hasn't been updated in years. I am in charge of redesigning the site, but need to keep what we have up-to-date until the new site is ready to roll out. I received the FTP info for the server and got site files into local folders so I can make changes. I've made changes to one file (index.html) and am trying to put that file back onto the server; but in the file transfer process, the dependent files do not get uploaded (I get a message saying "'fileName' - same - not transferred"). The one file that I have changed, and Dreamweaver says has been uploaded, is not updating on the web. I checked the file on both my local and remote view and both reflect the changes I have made -- just not the actual site on the web.
I'm sure that's a little confusing, so I'll try to summarize (with bulletts!):
I have correct FTP info to server
I downloaded site files from server to local folders
I edited index page, and put the file to the server
Dreamweaver indicates that the file has been successfully uploaded
Local view shows edits I have made
Remote view shows edits I have made
Other dependent files have not been uploaded ("'fileName' - same - not transferred" error message)
Actual website does not reflect changes made to index page
    What am I doing wrong????
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Filezilla is a free, open source FTP client. It's a standard desktop application. An FTP client connects to a server using the File Transfer Protocol and allows you to transfer files up to the server (upload) or download files from the server (download).
Why use a separate FTP client rather then the FTP functionality built-in to Dreamweaver? Because, in my experience, it works better the Dreamweaver's sometimes flakey FTP functionality and it's easier to troubleshoot FTP issues.
In Firefox, to clear the cache, go to Tools -> Advanced -> Click Network Tab -> Click "Clear Now" button. Hit F5 to refresh the page and see what changes (if caching was the issue). If nothing changes then for some reason your files are not being uploaded properly to the server. In that case I'd check to make sure you're loading your files to the correct directory on the server (usually a folder called "httdocs" or "www" - check with your hosting company to amke sure).
    Hope this helps.

  • Security Issues with uploading files into APEX - How is anti-virus handled?

    Hi APEXers!
We have been using APEX 3 for some time and are now migrating to APEX 4. We have a request for a new application that will require uploading spreadsheets. From other developers, I know it can be done in a few ways. The only thing we have done before is limitied - storing them in BLOBs.
With the Websheets in APEX 4, users could load them directly into the database.
But the anti-virus issue has always been unclear. For the apps that we are allowing to upload to BLOBs, they are small user, internal apps so we hope that our enterprise desktop software will stop a bad file before it gets uploaded.
We have gotten some questions about allowing outside-our-network people to upload spreadsheets or maybe even the public. So far, our security people have just said no - but I wondered what everyone else is doing?
Are there any White Papers or articles on this? My general impression is that anti-virus software has to be installed at the server level to deal with this.
If anyone can provide some guidance, I would appreciate it as I have to figure out what to tell the development team requesting to do this.

Do you have to take excel format? CSV would be a lot safer.

  • IPhone 5s wireless connectivity issues, cannot upload files/state to iCloud, and supposedly needing to do so in order to get my files/state onto a new iPhone 6 Plus

I am trying to get my files from my old iPhone 5s onto my new iPhone 6 Plus. I am currently and have been using iCloud to backup my files/state. However, I believe the antenna on the iPhone 5s went kaput a few months ago, because the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, both, do not work at all, meaning, I have tried all solutions including, resetting network settings, restarting the phone, etc. This is problematic because, as far as I know the iPhone 5s needs to be connected to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to a Wi-Fi Hotspot in order to ask the internet, in order to upload current information/state to iCloud. Herein lies my problem.
I have used iCloud already, to download my current files/state to my iPhone 6, with a caveat, these are only the files/state from before the antenna supposedly went kaput. That means, that all of my files/state since that time, while still being on my iPhone 5s, is not uploaded to iCloud, which then means I do not have it on my iPhone 6 which was updated to the most current files/state that was available at the time.
    What do I do?
I have iTunes installed on a Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 Computer, and I have made a backup on there. However, I have to admit, I find iTunes very counter-intuitive and very difficult to use/understand. And I'm mostly referring to the syncing/backing-up features. I know you have to have safe guards to protect software usage, but with this high-minded philosophy of minimalism, couldn't it be as easy as drag and drop? Even software syncing? USB syncing with iCloud, etc?

Thank you for the information. I checked out the section and read it through. From what I can gather, you can start your new iPhone from an itunes backup (Set Up Iphone > Restore from iTunes Backup), but, in my situation I need to add the Files/State from the old iPhone backup to the new iPhone that was started from scratch and has it's own unique Files/State, without subtracting from either. The problem is, that I don't want to subtract anything, and from what I understand about Syncing, if I am Syncing a new iPhone that's been started up, edited, has it's own suite of apps, etc. to an old backup of a previous iPhone, I am going to lose everything new I've done, as it will sync with the previous Files/State.

I am trying with this code and it giving dump error on transfer command.
    w_file = '/usr/data/020//varun.xls'.
OPEN DATASET w_file for input in text mode encoding non-unicode.
    LOOP AT T_MARD.
    TRANSFER string to w_file.
    endloop.
    CLOSE DATASET w_file.
    Please help.
Is there any other way to do so please let me know

    Hi Got the solution :-
If the data to be transferred is having all characters then we can use this:-
OPEN DATASET w_file for output in text mode encoding non-unicode.
    if sy-subrc eq 0.
       LOOP AT T_MARD into wa_mard.
            TRANSFER wa_mard to w_file.
       endloop.
    endif.
    CLOSE DATASET w_file.
If all the data is not in char then - declare a char strinf of the table length.
    Data: loc_string(300) type c.
OPEN DATASET w_file for output in text mode encoding non-unicode.
    if sy-subrc eq 0.
       LOOP AT T_MARD into wa_mard.
          CALL FUNCTION 'HR_99S_COPY_STRUC1_STRUC2'
            EXPORTING
              p_struct1 = wa_mard
            IMPORTING
              p_struct2 = loc_string.
            TRANSFER loc_string to w_file.
       endloop.
    endif.
    CLOSE DATASET w_file.

  • Issue with uploading files from photo booth

Whenever I want to upload a photo booth picture from my computer, I hit upload and go to the photo booth section of the window that pops up. However, the photo previews displayed only show my first fifty or so photos (I have over 400 in there), and I have to click in and out of the photo booth folder until it shows all of my photos to choose from. Does anybody else have this problem/know how to fix it?

  • Issues with uploaded files and timestamps

    Hi All,
I am building an app that will have 2 csv's uploaded daily, and compare results. The problem I have is that I can't seem to get the data into tables using the timestamp datatype.
I fixed this by making the columns varchar2 rather than timestamp in a stage table, and am now trying to write a sql query that would move the data to the original tables.
I have tried the "insert into <table_name> select ..." without any success.
I get a "ORA-01401: inserted value too large for column" error.
I have tried to use timestamp(0) - (6) as the datatype, and have tried to use the to_timestamp(field,'YYY-MM-DD-HH24.MI.SS')
Here is my table(s) - note that the temp table is exactly the same, except the timestamps are converted to varchar2
    CREATE table "PRINT_RESULTS" (
       "OUTPUT_FILE"            VARCHAR2(65)       NOT NULL,
        "FOLDER_ID"               NUMBER                NOT NULL,
        "TIME_PROCESSED"   TIMESTAMP(0)       NOT NULL,
        "TIME_RECEIVED"       TIMESTAMP(0)       NOT NULL,
        "FILE_SIZE"                  NUMBER(10,0)       NOT NULL,
        "PROGRAM_USED"      VARCHAR2(50)      NOT NULL,
        "PRINT_FILENAME"      VARCHAR2(55)      NOT NULL,
        "DOCUMENT_CNT"       NUMBER(7,0)         NOT NULL,
        "SHEET_CNT"               NUMBER(7,0)        NOT NULL,
        "IMPRESSION_CNT"     NUMBER(7,0)         NOT NULL,
        constraint  "HVP_PRINT_RESULTS_PK" primary key ("ID")
)And here is the select statement I have been using: insert into PRINT_RESULTS <br>Select "OUTPUT_FILE", "FOLDER_ID",
    to_timestamp("TIME_PROCESSED",'YYYY-MM-DD-HH24.MI.SS'),
    to_timestamp("TIME_RECEIVED",'YYYY-MM-DD-HH24.MI.SS'),
etc...Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance...
    Corey

    Corey,
    1) What does the data look like in your VARCHAR2 columsn TIME_PROCESSED and TIME_RECEIVED?
    2) What happens if you change your INSERT INTO SELECT, and for the timestamp columns in your select clause, change those for the time being to TO_TIMESTAMP(null)? Does the error still occur?

  • View temporary data in Web layout during file upload in Integrated Planning

    Hi Experts,
When using File Upload funcationality, in Integrated Planning,
I have a requirment, How user can view the data in the web layout?
After data display user can make changes in the data and on click of Save the updated data is saved in cube.
If any one has come across this requirment can you please help me out how things can be carried out?
If "how to implement" document is present can you please provide me the link.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Abhi

    Hi Abhi,
I assume, you are using WAD for this..
Please do the following: (Please note the the cube has to be in Plan mode while executing WAD)
    1. Create a input enable query (through query designer) on th eaggregate level (the one you are using for IP). You might need to create filers for the aggregate level. these filters can also be used in the query.
    2. In the WAD, pull this query.
    3. Create a button in WAD and check for the planning functionalities readily available that you can use in WAD. One of the planning functionality is SAVE Data. This will save any data which is entered by the user.
    4. In the same button integrate a Refresh Data command after the SAVE data. This will automatically refresh the query and pull the updated/changed data from the cube.
This should work. Please write back in case of any clarification.

  • Performance isues for uploading file

    Hello -
Has anyone hit any performance issues when uploading files, using the obj.setSource('HTTP'...) method?
Seems like all the examples I've seen have to call the "upload" procedure one time per upload. That is, unless you know haead of time that you have 3 documents to upload, then you can put 3 update statements within the procedure.
But if you don't know ahead of time how many files a user is going to upload, are we stuck then calling the "upload" procedure once per file (say if a user wants to upload 5 files, the the "upload" procedure has to be called 5 times, once per file).
Will this cause a major performance hit, or will it be OK because the procedure is already compiled and loaded in the SGA so it can be run multiple times by multiple users?
I hope that makes sense. Thanks for any input

  • BI-Integrated Planning: File Upload

Hi, I have implemented the "BI-Integrated Planning: File Upload" paper and it seems to work fine.
Whatever "Version" is in the delimitied file gets loaded just fine. (New Version gets created in master data)  So if version 999 is in the file the new version 999 get created with no master data issues.  But, when I try to load a file with a material that doesn't exist in Master Data, I get errors about the material not existing.  We need to have the upload allow new materials..
I am wondering if it Is the InfoObject Conversion Routine that causes the error, but if that was the case we wouldn't be able to load new materials in our regular loads.
Why does the file upload app allow you to create a new version, but not a new material?
    Any ideas?

I found out that a new characteristic value can be created for characteristics with no Master Data Table.
    I.E. 0VERSION can have a new value
    I.E. 0MATERIAL cannot have a new value
Answer was found in following thread:
IP input query: mandatory fields and new master data input

  • Errors with Integrated Planning authorizations

    Dear experts,
We are working with Integration Planning, and when we try to create or
modify whatever object (by the modeler or the wizard) we receive an error message like this:
"You have no authorization for Multiprovider XXXX"
Not only Multiprovider, but InfoCube....whatever object.
The curious thing is that we have with the user we are working a SAP ALL.
With the T-CODE bps0 we can do everything, but with T-CODE rsplan is
    impossible.
We’ve checked in the T-CODE su53 and everything is OK.
We’ve checked in the T-CODE rsecadmin and nothing there.
We’ve checked as well in the T-CODE st01, followed the actions with the
trace and all the return codes are 0.
    Does anyone know what happens?
    Thanks in advance
    Cecilia

    Hello Cecilia,
if you keep a carott in front of a donkey he will run faster... this is the same what I mean if I talked from experts: Men like to be the hero and instead of carott you need to need to laud him as an expert, he will reply faster
Lets come back to authorization: I am not sure whether RSECADMIN is a newer version of RSSM. Reason: In RSSM you can activate authorization check for a cube or MP but in RSECADMIN you administrate authorization for an user.
I am not sure, but I think that your problem is related to this issue. If not, there are very strange problems with the web authroization, its true: What we have done is to copy an exisiting BW user and assign him the same authorization like in web. Reason: To create a new user in the web does not work in all cases. We had very much problems with SP7, since we have SP10 we dont have those problems.

    Hi Guys,
I know this thread is answered but I have a similar problem I think.
I have a WAD that is published to the portal. I have added the WAD to a page via a hyperlink, the page resides in KM. When a user opens the page, via a URL iView, the see the page, but when they click on the link to open the WAD, I get the following error:
    Portal runtime error.
An exception occurred while processing your request. Send the exception ID to your portal administrator.
    Exception ID: 07:19_26/02/10_0067_18934750
Refer to the log file for details about this exception.
When I assign the Super Admin (UME Role) to the user, they can execute the WAD no problem.
I am not an Authorizations person, so any pointers as to where I should start looking would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

  • *** Question How to load a file into BI-Integrated Planning and use WAD 7.0

Hi, I created an manual DTP upload to my planning infocube and it works fine.  The transformation rules convert 0CALMONTH into the relevant Calendar and Fiscal characteristics.   So all of my Time Characteristics are fine, both Calendar and Fiscal.
However, When using the "How to load a file into BI-Integrated Planning and use WAD 7.0" solution, only the Calendar Characteristics are populated and not the Fiscal.   The upload application somehow knows to populate the 0CALMONTH2, 0CALQUART1, 0CALQUARTER, and 0CALYEAR.
How can I get the upload to populate my Fiscal Period Characteristics?
Would it be best to modify the "Upload Application, or can I write a planning function to update the fiscal characteristics, or some other way?
