Authorization Issue with TV Shows

Yesterday, I upgraded itunes to the latest version and then purchased two tv shows seasons one in HD and the other in SD. I don't have any problems with the SD season but I can't not play HD season because itunes keeps prompting authorize this computer and my computer is already authorized. I uninstalled all apple applications and reinstall, and I did what they recommend here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1389 but i still have same problem.
Any suggestions?

I amno won my 4th call to Apple Support. They are still acting like they don't know anything about this issue. WHen I mention that a lot of people on all platforms are having the same issue, it's as if he wants to ignore me.
I am now on hold with a supervisor.....I'll let everyone know if this gets anywhere. Evidently, there is some kind of billing upgraade or update that is going on this week, or they are preparing for. He mention that, then seemd to catch himself, like he wasn't supposed to say that. Anyway, if you have support, continue to call and call multiple times until they finally get the message.

    Hi,
    check that the role(s) are transported from your DEV and your QA, and that the user has the correct role(s)
    Check as well in your QA transaction RSSM for your ODSs objects; it might be that by transporting the ODS, some authorizations have been applied by default.

    We are stuck at one authorization issue. The user navigates using tcode VA02.
    1)     Execute Tcode -VA02=>
    2)     2) puts order number # 100001 =>
    3)     press enter =>
    4)     press enter =>
    5)     Screen: Change (Company Name) Return 100001: Overview =>
    6)     Option: Display doc. Header details (looks like a magnifying glass beside PO_date) =>
    7)     This bring us to Change (Company Name) Return 100001: header Data =>
    8)     select status tab =>
    9)     on Status tab lower end there is a button u201CObject Statusu201D =>
    10)     Press it => 
    11)     Come to Change Status :
    12)     On this screen There is Status with status no. on the right side with 7 options
    e.g:
    u2022     1 BLK Approval Required for,
    u2022     2 BL1 Approval for Credit,
    u2022     3 BL2 Approval for material Replacer
    We need to restrict the radio button access for user for which we are unable to find the authorization object.
    Could any one help.

    Hi,
    Use ST01 to trace the user activities and check which objects its hitting when you click on those buttons, then you can restrict radio buttons using those objects.
    I have'nt run the tcode myself and performed the steps you mentioned, but if you think its calling other transaction from those buttons you can manage tht in SE97, or add the t-code VA02 in the S_tcode auth object in PFCG.

  • Authorization issue with Inbound Delievries

    Can we control authorization of Inbound Delivery creation/Change (VL31N/VL32N) based on receiving point or storage location.
    Currently we are only able to control authorization at Plant level which is wide open and client needs restriction at Receiving Point or Storage Location Level.
    Let us know the Autho Object to resolve thie security restriction issue.

    You need to check the authorization object with Basis people.

  • Authorization issue with upload functionality

    we have country as authorization relavant field. if we are giving some country authorization to user it is giving authorization error at upload functionality.
    But if we give all country authorization than it is working fine.

    For SAP BPS
    Here while defining a variable you can set the user authorization and can determine which all records can be seen by the user.
    For eg. Create a variable for country with replacement type User-specific values. Here you can assign values to a particular user id.

    i am using bw 3.x and bi 7 query designer with different kind of probs?...
    i am able to see the info provider  in query desinger 3.x. but i can see only cubes .i am not able to find dso or infosets or multiprovider.. can anyone suggest is there any authorizations issues..please suggest.

    i went to tcode su01 and entered profile 0bi_all..it doesnt work.
    and executed tcode su56.there i can find list of BI related authorization profiles
    i added s_rs_all profile to my user. even then i face the same problem.
    i can see only queries in query designer of bi 7 format and i can not view info providers.
    i can view only cube and infosets and i can not view dso and multiproviders in bw 3.x type query designer

  • Authorization issue with iPod after replacing main computer hard drive

    Anyone know how to fix an authorization problem with iTunes? I've purchased several songs from them over the past couple of years, as well as the entire first season of Weeds. I just replaced my main hard drive since my old was going kaput, reloaded iTunes, imported all of my files (I had them backed up on my storage drive) and now it's telling me over 200 songs (and all of Weeds) cannot be loaded into my iPod because I'm "not authorized to play them on this computer." Anyone else run into this problem? Will contacting iTunes service help, or will they basically tell me to deal with it? I've tried clicking "Authorize Computer" under the Store tab, which seems to work until I actually try to resync my iPod, at which point I get the same "Not authorized on this computer error."
    Also, for whatever reason, It asks me to set up my iPod as if it had never been connected EVERY TIME I load it up, despite the fact that all of my preferences remain where I've set them.
    Needless to say, it's driving me crazy, and if anyone knows how to fix it before I end up waiting on a support line, I'd appreciate it.
    I'm running the newest iTunes (Downloaded today - 7.0.2) on a 30GB 5th Gen iPod with software 1.2.1

    Try playing one of them from within iTunes. It should ask you for your password. After entering it in you should be able to play them on iTunes and they should sync to your iPod.

  • Issue with Date showing Null in interactive report

    I created an interactive report for a customer and was confused to see blanks or more specifically dashes where there should be dates in one of the fields. I knew this field should have data so I did some testing and this is what I have found:
    The sql I am running is:

    from

    When I run the command in SQL workshop I get the following results with data in the last_resolved_date field:

    I copied and pasted the SQL from SQL workshop and created a new interactive report and got the following results with no last_resolved_dates showing up:

    For some reason the order is different, but the first one INC1117629 shows up in both of them and has a last_resolved_date in SQL workshop, but not in the interactive report. Any help would be appreciated.

    It seems to be related to the function we use to convert Remedy dates to Viewable dates. Remedy dates are stored as an integer that represents the absolute number of seconds from Jan 1, 1970 at 12:00 AM. We use a function that converts this number into a human readable date. I have tried encapsulating the result of the function in a TO_DATE and a TO_CHAR with the same results as before. There is something about the resulting data from the date convert function that Apex doesn't like. It would be interesting to isolate what exactly the issue is, but right now I'm just trying to find a work around.

  • Authorization Issue with Custom Pending Value Object and Anonymous Users

    Hi,
    I am just converting my demo from version 7.1 to 7.2. I am not doing upgrade. The demo uses a custom pending value object USER_REQUEST. The idea is that new employee goes to Java AS as anonymous user and enters her details and store where she will work. After submitting request there is an approval process using custom entry type USER_REQUEST. If the request is approved then IdM converts USER_REQUEST into MX_PERSON entry. This works nice in 7.1 but I am having problems with replicating this in 7.2. I created new UI task accessible by anonymous that creates new USER_REQUEST entry. I also assigned role idm.anonymous with UME action idm_anonymous to UME built in group Anonymous users.
    My problem is with the field STORE. This field is a reference field to another custom entry type STORE (this entry type will be used in context based assignment). Every new employee must selects a store where she will work. The problem is when user clicks on button "Select". Web dynpro terminates and returns authorization error. I also tested this with entry type MX_ROLE. I added attribute MXREF_MX_ROLE and same issue. So it seems that just assigning UME action idm_anonymous is not enough to list objects from identity store. I found a workaround for this issue. When I assign also UME action idm_authenticated to Anonymous users then it does not dump and I get a pop up window where I can search for store. It does not seem right to assign idm_authenticated to anonymous users.
    Another issue is with display task for entry type USER_REQUEST. I assigned a display task to entry STORE and I set that Anonymous have access to this task in Access control tab. I assigned default value to the field store. So when a user opens page she can see a hyper link to display already assigned store. When user clicks on this hyper link it opens a new pop up window and user must authenticate against Java AS. After successful authentication the display task for entry STORE is displayed. I would assume that anonymous user can display it without authentication.
    So to me it seems like authorization checks have been changed in 7.2 versions and are more strict for anonymous tasks. Hence my question is how can I implement my scenario. Am I missing some configuration or what's the proper solution to my two issues? I don't count assigning idm_authenticated to Anonymous users as a solution. This workaround does not solve my second issue.

  • Authorization issue with report on "Char data target"

    we've a characteristic ZCHAR inserted as data target.
    user is not able to execute a report created on this "Characteristic data target".
    error is as follows : "Error : You are not authorized to use ZCHAR".
    Could some one advise how to resolve this issue & what authorizations need to be assigned to this user.
    <b>PS: same user has no problems running other reports created on infocube & ODS.
    also, this characteristic data target is not "authorization relevant" in the info object definition.</b>

    looks like this is the problem.
    I quickly tested with this object on a dummy profile & it worked with following settings. Is this correct just for reporting?

  • BEx authorization issue with colon value

    Hi All,
    I have created few reports in 3.5 version on a cube. Two reports are having authorization object company and remaining don't have authorization object. If i do not give value colon( for company, authorization is failing for those reports do not have company. If i give colon value for company in authorization object, both reports with company and without company are working fine. If i do not specify any input value for the reports which are having company are giving all company values( but it should give no authorization message instead of displaying all companies). I'm using characteristic variable of type authorization and Ready for input. Can you please advise me how to fix this issue.

    If you have custom authorization object and you have ticked it against a cube, then every query/report on that cube should have that authorization object.
    Please chage the queries accordingly and check

  • Authorization issue with Z tcode.

    Dears,
    We are using CRM 7.0 connected backend to ECC 6.04 server.
    We developed one Z program and attached it with one Z tcode.
    I have SAP_ALL in both CRM and ECC system.RFC user also have SAP_ALL in ECC system.
    Now when we execute CRM_UI in crm and call that ztcode from CRM system,It shows
    "You do not have authorization of this tcode."
    It is happening for all Z tcodes but all standred tcodes are working fine from CRM to ECC system.
    I am also able to execute these Ztcodes by logging into ECC server.
    Please suggest.

    Hi Shivam,
    i suggest to do a test with one little PFCG-Role which includes only authorization object S_TCODE with your transaction code.
    Add this PFCG-Role to your user and try it again.
    If it works i guess that SAP_ALL is not considering Z transactions.

  • Authorization issue with different programs

    Basicly, when I for try to authorize programs, I give the authorization so I can use the full version, but when I turn off my mac and turn it back on, it always asks for the authorization again. Maybe it's meant to be like that, but I can remember my mac not having to ask for authorization on programs ever again once they've been authorized. It's kinda really annoying having to re-enter those authorizations over and over again.
    It's the same with java applets, when I check the box to always allow applets like that run, it always asks it again the next time anyway. It's just annoying.
    It's like my mac just won't "save" those settings
    Any ideas how to fix this?

    Try creating a new user account and see if it works right there. If it does, there is something in your user account that is wrong, likely a permission issue.
    From there, we can try to figure out why it is doing that.
