Authorization object & Business operation for issue permit & reject permit

Hi all,
I have created a new notification type (copied from PM) and have assigned tasks to the notification. In this notification i wanted to use the icons issue permit and reject permit for certain users (but not for all). So i need to provide the business operations to the basis guy to attach it for the specified roles.
I am not able to find these business operations.
Any help on the above would be highly appreciated.

Sorry u can not control the authorization bcoz above object not works for notification also there is no business operation in notification to control the approval or rejection of permit.
U have to use the user status by which u can control the approval or rejection of permit.

Can we reuse the Authorization objects in MM01 for Custom TCODE ZMM01

Hi all,
We need to create screens or transaction code ZMM01 which will have all views in the form of a tab like sales data will have a tab to input sales information like plant data as its own tab to input plant specific data
ceating material masters entries in Ztables like ZMARA,ZMARC,ZMVKE.
Now my question is can we use the same authorization objects which are being used for standrard MM01 transaction code because same users who use MM01 will use ZMM01.
If this is possible how can I know what are the authorization objects which I need to program for my ZMM01 Tcode.

hi yes
it is possible go to transaction SU21
and search MM_G object class you can reuse the same for ur Z transaction
also u will have to use SU22 to assing tcode to the obejct class

Missing objects Business Package for Internal Sales Representative

Hi all,
I have downloaded a Business Package for Internal Sales Representantive:

But, after import this BP some objects are not available to the standard role ("Internal Sales Representative").
Should I configure it manually? Or is it a problem when I imported it?

Authorization Object=S_RFC values for Integarted Planing

Hello all,
Does any one know specific values(Function Group Names) just to authorize and enable users to open IP-Workbooks on BEx.
Authorization Object: S_RFC- Authorization Check for RFC access..
When I give full "*" authorization everyting is working fine, but I dont want to give full RFC access authorization to End users, I just want to give specific values for IP.

for any users of solman issue management you need BP or master data
so you can call Tcode BP_GEN and then choose system followed users to create the BP
Once done you can simply goto BP for that particular user in BP tcode and choose the role as Employee then save it with userID because everybody is not processor.normally processor is the one providing solution to key users who raise incident

Authorization object for Object services

I want to know if there is an authorization object for Generic object services functionilty especially the WF options like WF overview, start WF, Archieve WF..............................
My understanding is any user who has access to a particular Business object, can user GOS to view WF stuff..................Is my understanding correct or should we have extra functions.....................

Missing authorizations for authorization object UIU_COMP

I have generated the pfcg role for a business role using report CRMD_UI_ROLE_PREPARE and assigned the pfcg role to a user.
The user is apparently able to perform navigation as required. However, when a ST01 trace is run for the user, there are few missing authorizations for UIU_COMP. Could anyone please explain the reason for this? No changes have been made to object UIU_COMP i.e. only values generated by the report is present there. Should the missing authorizations be added manually to the role?

I would recomend that you define for component UIU_COMP in your pfcg role full access (all set to *), because this authorization object is used for access to web ui components. Even thou if you define this object to full access users will still see just components defined in business role.

How to get all authorization objects for a certain authorization profile

Hi ABAP experts,
I have the following problem: for a certain authorization profile of a role (created with transaction PFCG) I would like to get all contained authorization objects: e.g. for the contained object PLOG I would like to know/read all corresponding parameter values.
So:
- where are these values stored (dictionary table)?
- is there already a FM or a report to read all authoriation values for a certain authorization profile?

Two suggestions:
1. In customizing, for credit managament, in tcode OVA8 you can lock the document in you change this field (see the helps for the flag 'critical fields')
2. Manage it with user-exits becuase if you run SU24 for tcode VA01, I cannot find any auth.object related with this field. See SAP Note 178328 - Problems due to incorrect user exits in SD for further information

Authorization Object for Clear G/L account (trx F-03)

Hi,
my client wants need to restrict some G/L accounts for certain company codes when clearing G/L accounts. In other words, I need to check that some users are cannot clear (trx F-03) some G/L accounts for some company codes.
I have reviewed the authorization objects (FI & FI_T) and I could not find one for that purpose. It seems that 'clearing' is not an activity for authorizations as create, display, delete, post... are.
Do you know if an authorization object (or activity) for clearing G/L account exists?

How does SAP generates the list of authorization objects in RSSM when you enter a specific infoprovider (checks for infoprovider)? Are only the authorization object related to this infoprovider listed?
