Authorization object CRM_ORD_OE is not woring in Production but in DEV

Hi,
In CRM system authorization object for sales office is working fine in DEV and Quality but not working in PRD.
What will be the necessary steps to identify the mistake to trace the above mentioned issue?

I had that option in front of me ( we actually tried it also with no result ). But before that I would like to know, why this might have happened. Why there is difference between standard menu on both servers?

Production box is much heavier then the development server. I have verified the init.ora parameters. both the boxes have same parameters and same data. In any case, make sure statistics is collected and is up to date. Get explain plan for queries in question. See if execution plan isn't optimal.

Authorization objects in RAR not updated

Hi everyone,
i'm facing an issue with RAR (GRC 5.3, SP10): i've just imported the authorization objects from SAP (SE38 -> /VIRSA/ZCC_DOWNLOAD_SAPOBJ -> saved in UTF8 format), but when i look the function in the rule architet the authorization objects setting are not the same:
Example: in SAP the transaction F-04 needs the auth obj F_BKPF_BLA/BUK/KOA (i use transaction SU22 to check the auth obj) and the export file has the same settings:
F-04     F_BKPF_BLA     ACTVT
F-04     F_BKPF_BLA     BRGRU
F-04     F_BKPF_BUK     ACTVT     01
F-04     F_BKPF_BUK     BUKRS     $BUKRS
F-04     F_BKPF_KOA     ACTVT
F-04     F_BKPF_KOA     KOART     $KOART
In RAR the transaction F-04 is in the function AP01, AR01, AR02, GL01. The transaction has different settings in every function: in AP01 there is only F_BKPF_KOA in status active, in AR01 there are F_BKPF_BUK and KOA in status active,...
I re-generated all the rules, but the settings are still the same.
I think the settings must be the same.
Am i right?

Luigi,
The function has all the associated auth objects, right? All the auth objects/permissions may not be enabled in the function. As you are using standard SAP ruleset, SAP has determined that the combination of F-04 and associated enabled auth objects create violation when assigned with another set of tcodes and auth objects. You can always enable all the auth objects if that is what makes sense as per your business.
Can you go through the RAR config guide to get an understanding on this?

SAP standard Menu : few menu paths not visible in Production but dev

Hi All,
We have a problem where in we can see the following menu path visible in standard menu in developement system; while the same menu path ( and few others also ) not visible in production system for same user ( i.e. having similar authorizations )
the path is : SAP Menu --> Accounting --> Financial Supply Chain Management --> Cash and Liquidity Management
Our system is : ECC 6.0
Every user should be able to view SAP standard menu inspite of the fact that he might have authorization to certain transactions only; hence this should not be an authorization issue ( as per my view ).
So can anybody help/ suggest in this regard?

OSS note is not working in production but works correctly in test system .

Authorization object in MV45AFZZ not working

I am using the aurhorization object C_CREC_WRK in the user exit MV45AFZZ in form USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP to
restrict the user at plant level while creating the sales order. While doing so the authorization is not working correctly. I have maintained the appropriate aithorization for the user and plant in PFCG but still its not validating in the exit.
But if I use the same object in se38 in a z program it work prefect. I am not getting where is the problrm is. is there any
restriction for the object in mv45afzz.

When calling the script object that is embedded in the fragment you have to path specifically to that object. The scriptobjectName.method is not enough to find what you want. You would need FragmentName.ScriptObjectName.Method()
I tried it here and it worked.
You may want to use a script Fragment instead of using an embedded script object on a fragment. The script fragment would run in the form root context and would behave like you are expecting.

Object range number not exist in production

Hi guys,
I have a problem where I had created an object range number in development server. The object works fine in development server. However , when I transported the object to the production server, the object did not exist eventhough the transport process was successful. Can anybody kindly explain to me why does this happen? TQ.

Transport authorization objects in BW

Hi gurus,
I have this problem regarding authorization objects for reporting in BW:
I hace created in DEV some authorization objects and linked them to some infoproviders.
When I make the transport to PRD system, I can see these objects but they are link to other inforproviders and not the ones that are marked in the dev system. The OT doen´t seem to have any trouble, but ¿why has this happened?.
As you know, I can´t select the correct infoproviders in prd system, and moreover I can´t erase them because I have already created profiles using these objects.
I think an option would be to pass again an OT, but I think the same problem may arise again.
I would appreciatte any kind of help.

It's the same as you would in another system.
SE84 -> Other Objects -> Auth Objects
Choose your object and then there will be the option to transport it in menu item Authorization Obj's

Authorization Object for Workbook

Hi...
I have a ENDUSER role. The users assigned to this role, can only display and execute queries. (S_RS_COMP & S_RS_COMP1 are given activities 'Display(03), Execute(16) and Enter, Include & Assign (22)'.
But, the users now, cannot build Workbooks out of queries. Is there a way, where I can allow the user assigned to ENDUSER role, to build Workbooks.
I found an authorization object S_RS_WKBK, which is relevant to this, but its says obselete (do not use). So, am unable to use it.
Can anyone say me the Authorization Object used for allowing Users to create and save their workbooks?

For saving workbooks in Roles you need:
S_USER_AGR

Go to SPRO > MM > Inventory Management and Physical Inventory > Authorization Management > Authorization Check for Storage Locations > Here activate the authorization for storage location under plant
And use authorization object as "M_MSEG_LGO"
Note: - In this step, you activate storage location authorization for individual storage locations.
Storage location authorization means that a user has to have authorization for authorization object M_MSEG_LGO in order to enter a goods movement in the storage location, using a particular movement type. In the list of material documents, only the document items for which the user has a display authorization are displayed.

Enter authorization object --> Execute
Double click on roles --> Click on user

When running transaction PT60 the field Personnel Area( PERSA ) of the authorization object P_ORGIN is not checked.
I have run SU24 ,the objects are there with chech indicator of authorization object = "CHECK".
What can I do about it ? Is there any note to fix this ?

Hi,
In object P_ORGIN what you need to check for authorisation is it on Personnel area or PSA.Actually we have org.key for authorisation which is define in P_ORGIN.If you can define org. key as PA/PSA/EG/ESG you can check the authorisation for specific users.

CRM_ORD_LP Authorization Object

Hello everyone,
I will be really thankful if you help me fix a problem.
I try to use authorization object CRM_ORD_LP which must let me grant access to opportunities to users who are from the same organizational unit. But it doesn't give result.
I tried the authorization object CRM_ORD_OE, but there I need to include the number of org unit, that means for me that i need to create a new role for each org unit. It isn't suitable for me.
Please, give me advece how to make CRM_ORD_LP work. May be there must be a special way of assigning users to the ogr. structure?
P.S. I use CRM 5.0

I have already investigated this question and read this help-docs.
As for authorization objects - I use 3: CRM_ORD_OP, CRM_ORD_LP, CRM_OPP - and i don't use object CRM_ORD_OE advisedly as far as i can't afford to do the separate role for each org.unit (I have org.structure with 23 org.units)
But I noticed an fact that when I tried to change opportunity with my test user, system says that "You have no authorization to execute action Change
" the reason is "The authorization check for object CRM_ORD_OE has sent back the return code 12. The activity executed was Change. Return code 12:
There is no authorization for the checked objected in the master record.
I understand it as the system can't find necessary authorization object CRM_ORD_OE, but may be I'm wrong.
As for badi - I don't know which badi controls the authorization. Could you prompt me, please?
And may be you know how it is possible to control the process of checking authorizationg objects during some transaction?

In Opportunity transaction I want to give authorization to the Text Types. E.g. The person with manager role shall be able to edit all the text types but the person with role Sales Rep should only be able to view it.
I added the authorization object 'CRM_TXT_ID' to the transaction but i'm still not able to achieve the functionality. Could you guide me how to go ahead regarding this?
