Authorization on Family Data ( Infotype 0021 )

Dear All,
I have issue regarding authorization of maintaining the family data. I have two option one is PA30 and one is PA40
IN PA40 I have to give authorization for create a family data , but in PA30 I have to give the authorization for not able to edit or maintain the family data for the same user.

check with pranithas reponse u can check that one in table V_T588D
but one small doubt infotype 0002 will triggers 21 and also respective subtypes will come
so check witht he operations and also time contraits bcoz some infotypes has been set by default i mean TC

We have a requirement and wondering somebody could help me with that:
when ever we maintain the Family infotype 0021 - If the person is married the spouse last name is automatically populating in the last name field. Is there any functionality which would allow the last name of the female spouse come in as blank as it is not standard for the last name to be same as husband.

Problem in scrambling HR data for infotype 0021

hi experts,
i am working on hr data scrambling project.But i am facing problem in updating the table(master table) for infotype 0021.
i am using function module hr_infotype_operation. The error message it shows " EPG.... 009 NO DATA IS STORED FOR 0021
IN SELECTED PERIOD".

That simply means that you are trying to update non-existing data... which of course is not possible

In PA30 infotype 0021, i have to change the value of T_VIEW_REPID by implementing BADI HRPAD00INFTY [Program MP002100->screen 2000->MODULE BEFORE_OUTPUT->PERFORM badi_before_output(sapfp50m)]. I'm trying to use field symbols (as below) to change the value of T_VIEW_REPID and getting SY-SUBRC = 4 after the Assign (LV_WA) To <FS_REPID>. Can somebody please help.

Error in infotype 0021 - Entry 14 1 04 does not exist

Hi experts,
I have one problem during key-in infotype 0021. When I choose fields relation, this message appear, '14 1 04 does not exist'.

SAP has two type of authorization. Standard authorization which is at the infotype and subtype level. You could lock down what infotypes, subtypes, object types, and transaction codes a person has access to display, update, and/or execute.
The other authorization is structural. A person can only see and/or update people below him/her from an organizational structure perspective. For example, a manager can only see his/her subordinate. He can not see subordinate of other managers nor can he see another manager information. However, his manager could see him, his subordinate, and all of people below down the organizational structure.

If implimented correctly, the standard logicial database (PNP/PNPCE) will support it and check for it on all programs / reports that uses the logical database.

Can we have a Family Data Package, Please?

I have 4 people on our wireless service with Verizon. Until recently, only I had a data plan. Then I got my kids new phones and they got data plans. Now my husband wants a data plan when he is eligible for a new phone in January. All these plans are getting REALLY expensive. How about coming out with a family data share plan, similar to the shared minutes plan?

Issue in custom subscreen added in infotype 0021

Hi experts,
Im doing the enhancement in infotype 0021. I have added some custom fields (custom subscreen) in IT0021. Those fields (text boxes) are grouped inside a group (Box) in SE51.
Now my issue is that when i see the custom subscreen in Change mode in PA30 transaction, it is getting displayed in enable mode. But when i see in Disable mode, still those text boxes are shown in enable mode. Actually those need to be shown in Disable mode , when i see in Display mode in PA30.
pls tell me how to achieve the same.

I am having the same problem.
I had created a custom infotype ,But when I try to view it through PA30 in Display mode.
the fields are still enabled.
Whereas , in create mode, its working fine.
Please guide me the steps to disable the fields in Display mode in PA30.

Our employees are able to update/correct any personal details (name changes, addresses, NI number etc) using ESS.These changes are reflected in the personal data infotype. I would like ot run an ad-hoc query to pick up any personal changes that employees make.

You can do this by checking the AEDTM field of the infotypes.

How to change the Time Constraint for Personal Data InfoType.
I tried to do it in Customisation Procedure --> Infotypes, but the option to change Time Constraint is disabled for Infotype 0002.

you can change time constraints in general attributes of infotype attributes,this can be done through table maintenace view V_T582A.
But note that we cannot change the time contraints for mandatory infotyepe of personnel in an organization i.e -0000,0001,0002.
ex:- without personal details like names no personnel will exist in an organization.

In portal we don't need field called "Date of Birth" witch is mandatory and must have an information.

You have to modify the webdynpro Java code to remove the date of birth field.
It cannot be done thru configuration as far as i know.

In SAP(DEV 100) development.
I create a new field(Nome da Mãe) for infotype 0021 in transaction(PM01), when I go to transaction PA30 the field is deisplayed with success.
My problem is...
In SAP(DEV 110) TEST
The field (Nome da Mãe) does not displayed, I tried to transport the changes of the infotype using transaction scc1 but it doesn't work. I don't have any idea of the problem, helpme.

When enhanching standard infotype or creating new infotypes, two transport requests are created, one is workbench request and other is customize request. Both requests should be transported to ur quality client.

I dont know which kind of check you want to make but of course user-exits like mv45afzz is always an option.

Family Data Pricing (What do you think would be fair?)

Currently people are getting ripped off for $30 data plans and I assume many use under 1GB per month. Because of this many cannot afford data plans for their family.
I use around 150MB 3G each month, the rest is over WIFI.
Questions:
1. How much data do you use each month? (Found through MyVerizon)
2. How do you think Verizon is going to set up family data?
3. How much should a family of 4 pay for family data if each of them gets 2GB each considering what I said above about many not even using 1GB (although is is probably rapidly changing with video calls and 4G LTE). I still think people on average use less then 2GB.
I would have to say $70 for 8GB for the family to share. $17.50 per person. At that figure I think we would start to see a lot more smartphones being sold but I'm sure my figure is really low by Verizon's standard.
So, what do you all think Verizon will do with pools of data? Speculate on prices and amount of data.

Verizon has a $20/300MB data plan, which I have with an iPhone.
1. I used 75MB or less each month (I have used 75MB once).
2. Verizon is either going to add it as an option in current shared plan or create a separate data share plan (I''m thinking the later).
3. I would prefer not paying for data and just using WiFi, but I would say for a family/share plan no more than $20/GB on the account level.
