Authorization question...a different one.

So...I had to put a recovery disk in my laptop restore my settings. When I re installed itunes and then plugged in my ipod, it gave me this message..
+The ipod is synced with another itunes library. An ipod can only be synced with one library at a time. What would you like to do? Erase and Sync, or transfer purchases.+
So i choose transfer purchases since if I choose erase and sync, it will erase my ipod.
After I choose, transfer purchases, it only syncs 133 songs out of 531 to my itunes library. But, then it tells me that 100 songs can not be tansfered because it is not authorized to do so. So, I did the whole deauthorize/reauthorize thing, and the same thing keeps happenning over and over. Any insight???

I think you're going to have to contact iTS support, then.
Or buy a 3rd-party ipod manager that will transfer everything: purchases plus CDs you ripped and downloaded from non-itunes sites.

For axample I have infoobject A and B . so I need the profile to allow lines from the cube with

That's doesn't work propertly. If I create two roles:
first one:
infoobject has values a1,a2,a3 AND B infoobject has *
second one
infoobject has values a1,a2,a3 AND B infoobject has *.
then it gives in general all values for A and all values for B
when I create authorization objects for A and B and assign it value as Ajay proposed then it works anly in case when in bothh instances of authorization object either A or B have the same values. In case when both instances of authorization object represent different groups of rows(data) I get an error that "my master data record is not maintained properly". Any Ideas ?..

Unfortunately you can't do the logical and convenient thing of authorizing a computer with multiple Adobe IDs that are active simultaneously.
You can authorize accounts from different vendors; one account per vendor.
If you have multiple operating system users set up on the computer, you can register different OS users as different Adobe Account users.

Users binded with virtual-template2 (bba-group test_PPPOE) are authenticated and authorized by AAA method lists "test_PPPOE". But i can't figure out how to authorize their services recieved from external RADIUS server (aaa group server radius test_PPPOE) with method list "aaa authorization subscriber-service test_PPPOE group test_PPPOE". What do i need to bind with it?

If you mark 0plant as authorizationRelevant all InfoCubes that have 0plant will also being checked for that authorization.
If you want to only restrict one InfoCube you have to do it separatly.
Let me give you a example:
You have InfoCubes:
A
B
C
D
All these four InfoCubes have 0plant inside. You mark 0plant as AuthorizationRelevant but you want to restrict only InfoCube B with values from 0plant, let's say 0plant value '110'. For the other Infocubes you don't want to restrict 0plant.
In that case you would create an authorization in RSECADMIN that will have 0TCAIPROV = 'B' and 0plant = '110'.
You would also create authorization for RSECADMIN for the others InfoProviders (it could be the same authorization for all the others or separate authorizations) with:
0TCAIPROV = 'A'
0TCAIPROV = 'C'
0TCAIPROV = 'D'
0plant = *
In this case everytime a user executes a query over B he would have to insert '110' as value for 0plant otherwise he would receive a lack of authorization. Everytime a user executes a query over A, C or D, he doesn't have to insert nothing in 0plant because he is allowed to see all the values for 0plant.

I had my itunes software on my laptop with the songs on a portable hard drive. The laptop was stolen, the portable hard drive was not. I installed itunes on the new laptop and pointed to the music on the portable hard drive and it is telling me I am not authorized to play certain songs although I have authorized the computer. Also when I try to snyc my iphone it is saying it is going to erase all the songs on the iphone and replace them. I have purchased songs on the phone that are not in my itunes.
How do I resolve this?

Have you tried to play one of the songs in iTunes? It should then ask you to authorize them.

Question about different query results with wildcard

Hi, I'm working with a third party app on SQL Server 2000, and from what I can gather, programmed in C# & VisualFoxPro.
When we search with
    Note contains 94949
we get 571 results, when we search with
    Note contains 94949*
we get 575 results.
There should be at least a hundred different entries that start with "94949-1" so I expected the query with the wildcard to return something like 680 results, not an additional four rows.
Searching with
    Note contains 94949-1*
got 483 results
    Note contains 94949-10*
got 0 results
Could someone explain or point me to more documentation on the difference results we get?

My situation is more basic than what appears in your example. Unfortunately, I am working solely through this application so I do not have access to the SQL to test out what you supplied, so my question is more of a need for an explanation of the search results. I do find lots of references to LIKE, Wildcards and pattern matching, but I don't find a way to explain to the users the best and most complete way to search. They mostly need a "this will always get us the results without missing anything" search technique and then to be able to select from a smaller group. I guess I need a basic course in understanding search results: how to get different ones and what they mean.

returned one more result than when using an asterisk. I don't understand this difference.

brings nothing nor does not using quotes. But there are hundreds of records which have the string starting with 94949-1 and a varying number of characters after that.
?Does the dash read not as a character in the string but as an expression?
When I use WITHIN 3 characters, I get too few results (eight). If I use AND, I get text unrelated to the account number I am looking for.
Again when I tried to narrow the search by adding one digit to the string to be matched, I did not get any results, but 500 results from the more general search is too much to scan by opening individual records.

Backed up using i-cloud now can not restore because security questions are different from apple account?

i just purchased a new i-touch for my son becasue he smashed th old one. I purchased it at the apple store and the tech told me to back info up utilizing i-cloud. I did that inside the store. I am trying to set the i-touch up using the i-cloud backup but when i get to the security question part, the questions are different from my apple account. I then get an error message saying server error. I called apple and they did not seem to be much help.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Contact Apple through iTunes Store Support, and explain that you have forgotten your 3 security questions, that you can reset your password, but doing so doesn't reset your security questions.
Explain that after resetting your password, you are still asked for the answers you have forgotten, before you can gain access to My Apple ID > Manage your account > Password & security, which is where you need to be to change your answers.
Remember, support will receive hundreds, if not thousands of requests per day, some from people trying it on, others with little explanation and others that are written extremely poorly. Take the time to explain your situation properly, be precise and concise, brief but comprehensive.

Unhappy with final product - bringing my questions/issues to one thread

I have been trying to get what I consider an acceptable DVD from my new Mac. I have started a couple of threads and posted in a couple of others, but I figured it was better to bring all my questions/problems to one thread. I'm going to try to give all the information that I can think of, in hopes that yall can help me.
I have iMovie11, iDVD7.1, Toast 8 Titanium, and Final Cut Express4.0.1.
At this time, the video I'm working with came from a Flip Ultra HD (the 30fps version, not the newer one that does HD at 60fps).
I have edited an 18 minute project, and created numerous versions of it, which I then burned to DVD with Toast. The final product on each disk all look pretty much the same to me, with the one problem that is making me go nuts --- the video playback does not appear "smooth". It looks like it is playing back at less than 30 frames per second.
I don't expect perfect video quality from the Flip camera - actually the video is acceptably clean and sharp (for me) - it's the frame rate thing that is killing me. In the past I have burned numerous DVDs from MiniDV through Sony Vegas that play back perfectly.
As of tonight, I have discovered that I apparently chose the wrong "easy setup" for FCE, it was on DV-NTSC, and I think I have found that it should have been on HDV-Apple Intermediate Codec 720p30 - although I might be wrong about that as well.
I did not do any kind of conversion to the Flip videos before working with them in FCE - don't know if this would be part of my problem.
In my trying various setting for the export, I have found "Key Frames Every xxx" with a default at 24 - don't know what this is or if it is related to my problem.
I don't mind re-editing the entire project if there is something I can do that will make this better, or if this is as good as it is going to get with this source video.
Also - I've noticed that anytime I add or make any changes to a transition, I have to re-render that section. Is this normal, or is it because I'm using video straight from the Flip (without MPEG Streamclip'ing) it first, or some other reason - maybe related to my wrong easy setup choice?
Please let me know if there is other information I can provide that might help you help me. I can see that I will love working with Final Cut Express and playing with all that it can do once I figure out how to set the export settings like they should be.

All the source video is converted, new project started with correct easy setup, corrected clips imported - the video looks awesome in FCE preview.
I notice that it still requires a re-render where titles are added from Live Type - is that normal or did I have something wrong with the items coming from Live Type?
I also exported a short video 2 different ways:
export - quick time movie - self contained.... This one has a very subtle jump just before and after each transition that I don't see in FCE while editing, it's only in the completed version
and....
export - using qt conversion
format - quicktime movie
options - compression h.264
quality - high
key frame rate - 24
frame reordering - yes
encoding mode - multi-pass
dimensions - compressor native 1280x720
This one does not have the jump before and after transitions, but from what I read earlier in this thread, I should be able to just use the "export - qt movie - self contained" - correct?

The system is not setup to provide that kind of sservice. If making certain purchases it does ask for an answer to one of your security questions, so that provides a little more security for some purchases, just not all.

I can only open one PDF in session. If I try to open a different one, I get the same as before. The only way to see a different PDF is to close the browser and start over. A bit hassle with sites requiring a password.

Many web sites have links to multiple PDF files. I have no trouble reading the first PDF file, but if I try to open a different one, I always get the first one I opened. Firefox ignores the other links and goes back to the first one. The only remedy seems to be to close Firefox and start over again. You want to keep the iTunes ID since that is the one that you make purchases with. That should be your primary Apple ID email address.
Go to. Settings>FaceTime>Tap your ID and sign out. Then sign in with the iTunes/Apple ID email address.

Did you go into Settings > Store and then tap your old ID, sign out and then enter your new ID?
