Authorization to logon as trusted system (Trust

Hello everybody,
I want to configure the RFC between the solman and IDES server. so i have done the following things
1. Create a user sapuser in solman and Ides server with the Authorizations, SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE,SAP_SV_FDB_NOTIF_BC_ADMIN,ZSAP_S_RFCACL,ZSAP_SOL_SERVTRANS_CREATE
2. Create the RFC named SOLTRUSTED in IDes with  detail as
              Target Host       :-               solman
              I.P                        :-              192.168.1.4
              System No         :-              00
              Trusted System :              No
After that i have test the connection its working, Same as Remote Logon, . Logon screen asking for user name and password is also working fine.
3. execute the T.cdoe SMT1 create a  Trusted System  SOL with details as
   Trusted System   SOL
  Technical settings
      RFC Destination       SOLTRUSTED
      Authentication type   3
     message server        solman
Trusting system
   Trusting system       RIS
   Application server    ides_RIS_08
here when select Entry-->authorization check -->trusting system here 2 times logon screen appear for solman logging and generate the Error " Error when opening an RFC connection
I have also set the authorization for the object  S_RFCACL with required field value as *
Also i have check the TRUSTING_SYSTEM@SOL Rfc, then the connection test successfully done but at Remote Logon No, generate error as - authorization to logon as trusted system (Trust
So please guide/suggest me that any missing or additional steps missing for configure the trusted and trusting system
Thanks
Ganesh

Hello,
As per your suggestion, i have two system Solman and IDES, I want to connect solman and Ides
1. i have create the RFC in IDES
          RFC name             SOLTRUSTED
          Connection type   3
          Target Host           SOLMAN
          System No            00
    ON clicking Connection Testing - successfully
    On clicking Remote Loging, Logon screen is display, on entering Client, Username, and password successfully logon to the solution manager.
          IP address        192.168.1.4
As per suggetion of second step, I have been trying to create the trusted system, i enter the name SOLTRUSTED,at the logon screen enter the client 901, user name and password
Now on the Trusted System means on Solution Manager
create the RFC named RISCLNT999
         Connection type = 3 and descrption
   enter the target host - ides
             system number - 08
             trusted system = yes
             client  -999
             check the current user option
      and SAVE
All the setting i have done, but from the IDes server when i use the command Smt1 and select Entry-->Authorization check -->Trusting system, it display logon to solman screen 2 times display the error message "Error when opening an RFC connection"
Entry-->Authorization check -->Current server, it display logon to solman screen display the error message "No authorization to logon as trusted system (Trusted RC=0)"
I have metion in previous message that i was maintain all the necessary authorization.
so please suggest me how to solve the authorization problem?
Thanks
Ganesh

  • No authorization to logon as trusted system (Trust ed RC=0)

    Hi Guys,
    I am working in CHARM implementation and i am facing a problem while importing the transport request from development to quality system.
    once i select the pass correction to test action in urgent correction the system is giving an warning message(No import into test system has taken place yet).
    When i go to task plan there the system is showing the transport request is succesfully released, but Import transport request as RED.
    Description of the Error: System cancel RFC destination SM_QASCLNT410_TRUSTED, Call TMW_SET_PROJECT_SWITCHES: No authorization to logon as trusted system (Trust ed RC=0).
    But when i do the pass correctio to test with SAP_ALL in Quality system it is successfully importing to quality system.
    I have also assigned S_RFCACL to developer role in quality system. kindly give ur valuable inputs as it is very urgent.

    Penmetsa,
      Interesting name - trusted connections are somewhat interesting to work with - please check them by using the 'Remote Logon' button with the username check set to current user (if you are using a specific user, there is no real reason to use a trusted connection).  When doing this, follow OSS Note: 128447 which is all the troubleshooting for Trusted Connections with all the return codes.
      From what you are showing with the RC=0, that is ususally authority - you probably don't have the role setup right on the QA system.  Personally, I wouldn't bundle this because there are different flavors of this role that should be assigned to certain users.  You should go check with your Security people for the best way to assign the proper credentials to end-users.  A improperly configured S_RFCACL will allow one to access a remote system with a different userid!!  Which is not really a good thing to have as a possiblity for daring developers that are looking for interesting things to play with.
      Anyhow - hope that helps, if it answers your question, please set the thread to answered.

    i am not able to logon to my ides system. server is starting but while logging into the system by using user name and passward
    the following error is coming

    some other information is also available

    Check with your Basis. Your account validity is expired. Ask them to increase the validity.
    The INI also does not exist on your system. Take the file from Basis and paste it on your PC.

  • No administration authorization in Change and Transport System in CHARM

    Hi guys,
    I am currently working for CHARM implementation for ECC 6.0
    now my problem i created an urgent correction  and i released the transport request successfully, but when i try to execute the Pass correction test action it is saying that No import into test system has taken place yet. then i went to task plan and checked there in quality system it is saying No administration authorization in Change and Transport System.
    So i asked my basis team to assign the S_TMW_IMPORT profile to user TSADM in 000 client of quality system and additinally our basis team has assigned S_CTS_ADMI. authorization object to TSADM user ID in 000 client of quality system. But SAP has suggested to assign S_CTS_IMPALL and S_CTS_IMPSGL authorization profile to S_CTS_ADMI.
    But the problem is S_CTS_IMPALL  and S_CTS_IMPSGL authorization profile is not available in 000 client of quality system.
    Kindly give your valuable inputs as early as possible. the solution provided by anybody will be rewarded with points.
    Thanks&Regards
    Raju

    can you try assigning the below profiles to that ID.
    S_TMW_OPERA
    Operator in CTS (All Transport Authorizations)
    S_CTS_ALL
    Transport system: All authorizations
    S_CTS_DEVELO
    WBO: Profile for developers in P systems (incl. tasks)
    I too have checked and i did not come across the profiles nor objects S_CTS_IMPALL and S_CTS_IMPSGL .
    Where did u get the message that they have to be imported ?
    Hope it helps.

  • How to display a specific SAP logon screen per system?

    Hello,
    I woud like to display a logon screen which contains system-specific information, e.g. for the QAS system it would be something like "This system was created by a system copy from PRD on MM/DD/YYYY"...
    I have gone through the SAP Note 205487 and my understanding is that I have to create the ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO in the development (changeable) system and transport it.
    Note 205487 : "Creating/changing this text requires a changeable system. Therefore, for production systems, SAP recommends maintaining the text in the upstream system and then transporting it."
    Can anyone please provide me with some hints on how to create a different logon screen for each system and apply them via transport requests?
    I prefer not to "open" the QAS system in order to create the logon screen because I would then have to "open" the productive system to create a different logon screen...
    Any help is appreciated.

  • Easy Document Management crash when logon to the system

    Hello gurus.
    I have a problem with SAP Easy Document Management.
    I double-click on the icon of SAP Easy Document Management I get the SAP logon window, then enter the username and password and then click on "Access the system."
    It seems that explorer.exe is trying to connect when I get the following error message:
    Microsoft Visual C + + Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
    Program C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe
    This application has Requested the Runtime to terminate it in unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
    My system is Windows XP and the version of SAP Easy Document Management 7.0.6.1 (Unicode).
    Lots off thanks

    Hi,
    we have also the similar problem with Windows 7 and EasyDMS 7.1.4.2. The Explorer crashes the first time when you try to login after starting the PC. When you then restart the Explorer and try a second login it will be successful and EasyDMS works fine all day. If you restart the PC the Explorer crashes again when you try the first login.
    We have no crashes under Windows XP with EasyDMS 7.1.4.2 !
    The problem of this issue is found by SAP and the solution will be implemented in the upcoming EasyDMS 7.1 SP05.
    Meanwhile on our Windows 7 PCs following workaround is working for us and prevent us from the crash problem:
    We add on all Windows 7 PCs to the environment variable "Path" the entry ";C:\Program Files\SAP\EasyDmsInterface\Unicode".
    And there are no crashes anymore.
    I hope this will help you or others which have similar problems.
    Best regards
    Frank

    I restored the system using brtools successfully as you can see below:
    then I went with the rest of the steps based on sap recomendations, and reached to SAP sql queries:
    CREATE USER "OPS$<DOMAIN>\<SID>ADM" DEFAULT TABLESPACE SYSTEM TEMPORARY TABLESPACE PSAPTEMP IDENTIFIED EXTERNALLY;
    CREATE USER "OPS$<DOMAIN>\SAPSERVICE<SID>" DEFAULT TABLESPACE SYSTEM TEMPORARY TABLESPACE PSAPTEMP IDENTIFIED EXTERNALLY;
    GRANT CONNECT, RESOURCE, SAPDBA TO "OPS$<DOMAIN>\<SID>ADM";
    GRANT CONNECT, RESOURCE, SAPDBA TO "OPS$<DOMAIN>\SAPSERVICE<SID>";
    CREATE TABLE "OPS$<DOMAIN>\<SID>ADM".SAPUSER (USERID VARCHAR2(256), PASSWD VARCHAR2(256));
    INSERT INTO "OPS$<DOMAIN>\<SID>ADM".SAPUSER VALUES ('SAPSR3', '<Password>');
    CREATE SYNONYM "OPS$<DOMAIN>\SAPSERVICE<SID>".SAPUSER FOR "OPS$<DOMAIN>\<SID>ADM".SAPUSER;
    CONNECT /
    GRANT SELECT, UPDATE ON "OPS$<DOMAIN>\<SID>ADM".SAPUSER TO "OPS$<DOMAIN>\SAPSERVICE<SID>";
    CONNECT /as sysdba
    GRANT CONNECT, RESOURCE TO "OPS$<DOMAIN>\SAPSERVICE<SID>";
    GRANT CONNECT, RESOURCE TO "OPS$<DOMAIN>\<SID>ADM";
    I checked if all users are on opened state using select USERNAME,ACCOUNT_STATUS from dba_users;
    The database is running file, and it is opened, but when I run R3trans -d it gives me RC 12 and i get this error:
    *** ERROR => CONNECT failed with sql error '1017'
    set_ocica() -> SQL error code 1017
    -->oci_get_errmsg (con=0, rc=1017)
    OCIErrorGet -> SQL error code: 1017
    ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
    DbSlConnect(con=0) -> orc=0, 99=DBSL_ERR_DB
    ***LOG BY2=>sql error 1017   performing CON
    ***LOG BY0=>ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
    I used brconnect -u / -f chpass -o PSAPSR3 -p sap so i can reset the password, but still I am getting the same invalid username or password error.
    I checked the listener status, and it is running.
    Kindly let me know how I can fix my error
    Best Regards
    ~Amal Aloun
