Authorize windows 8.1 computer

I am having trouble authorizing my windows 8.1 pc  for itunes.  The instructions tell you to select authorize from the store tab, but I do not have an authorize option.  Help

Press the Alt and S keys and choose Authorize this Computer, or click here, follow the instructions, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.

  • I have PhotoDhop Elements 4.0, which I have been running on an XP computer. I bought a Windows 8.1 computer, and tried to reinstall it on the new machine. It would not install, due to "compatibility" problems. Is there a fix that will let me install this

I am trying to determine whether there is a way to install my PhotoShop Elements 4.0 on a Windows 8.1 computer.

If there is it probably requires doing so in compatibility mode.  Try searching Google to see if anyone has looked into this for Windows 8 or even an earlier version since it likely a question for earlier Windows versions as well.

  • How can I remove the Apple ID authorization only on one computer and authorize another in his place?

how can I remove the Apple ID authorization only on one computer and authorize another in his place?

    De-authorize the computer in question.
    Then authorize the new computer.
Or de-authorize all computers and authorize only the ones that actually exist.

  • How can I create multiple libraries on a windows 8 HP computer?

I just got the newest generation Ipod Touch, and the itunes is not supported on my iMac G5. My parents have a Windows 8 HP computer. My dad's itunes account is on that computer. So what I want to do is use my external hardrive to sync it to my Windows 8 computer. I am trying to find out how to create multiple libraries.
    Please help me out.

These all have drm so i cannot read them without a i-Device.
Correct.  If you do not have an iOS device or a Mac running Mavericks, do not buy Apple iBooks.  They will be unreadable.

  • Outlook 2013 will not Quick Print a PDF attachment on a Windows 8.1 computer

    LS,
One of my customers has a Windows 8.1 Computer, Internet Explorer, Office 2013 and Acrobat reader XI (all updated, latest version, etc.).
Whenever my customer gets a email in his outlook with a PDF attachment, he cannot use Quick Print in the menu to print the attachment.
When he does this, simply nothing happens, no error, no nothing and the printer doesn't print. Any other type of attachment appears not to be a problem.
If I use a different program to open the PDF than with a little work around I can open the PDF and than print it.
Of course my customer would prefer to use Adobe reader.
Do you have a solution for this problem??
    Kind regards,
    Clemens Linders

I read somewhere that disabling hardware rendering in Internet Explorer could help with a problem like I had with this customer. And also I read somewhere that you can disable some protection security in PDF.
So I did these two things and I thought.... Yes, this is it. I could now print emails that have a PDF attachment.
Unfortunately, my customer called me yesterday and sys he has still got the same problem when trying to print emails that have multiple PDF attachments.
I am running out of ideas, does anybody have an idea how to fix this??
    Kind regards,
    Clemens Linders

  • My Windows 8.1 computer doesn't recognize my iPod nano 7th generation. Why?

My Windows 8.1 computer doesn't recognize my iPod nano 7th generation. Why?
When I connect my iPod to my computer, nothing happens. I've read the tips in the section "support" and I noticed that maybe Windows 8 is not one of the operating systems that are compatible with an iPod nano 7th generation. If I'm right, what can I do if my only device is a Windows 8?

    Hi, Grafiti.
Thank you for the question.  Below, I have attached a couple troubleshooting articles that will help resolve the device not being recognized by iTunes.

Are you using DHCP to allocate IP addresses via your router or Static IP allocation?
You may have an IP conflict in your network.
Check on your various network configuration parameters in your iPad, PC and WiFi router.

First I would just try deleting the SCInfo folder, restart your computer, open itunes and see if you are still getting the error, at that point if you are it is a permissions error with the computer specificaly and not in itunes.

that is for deleting the scinfo folder. scroll to the bottom of the article and the steps are there

  • How do I install an HP Officejet 8600 Plus on my Windows 8.1 computer?

I am trying to download the install software for the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus to my Windows 8.1 computer (Lenovo Yoga). When I click on the link to go to the page in downloads, I get a blank page that never populates. How do I get this information?

What is the full product name for your printer or the full product number?
I did not have any problem locating the driver software at the following URL.
    http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL40120/bi-108858-4/OJ8600_1315-1.exe
You may need to use a different browser. If you were  using Internet Explorer then try Google Chrome or Firefox.

  • Is there an instruction sheet detailing how to install Photoshop Elements 13 (from a DVD disk), on a Windows 8.1 computer, and if so, where do I find it

Is there an instruction sheet detailing how to install Photoshop Elements 13 (from a DVD disk), on a Windows 8.1 computer, and if so, where do I find it?

Googled for an instruction sheet.  Got the following.
    https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/getting-started/install-pse.html
    and
    https;//helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/photoshop-elements-installation-errors.html
(Don't know why the second one didn't turn into a link, that's the url that printed out at the bottom of the page)
In any case it doesn't matter.  I returned it to the store where I bought it.
Rule #1; Don't use a product if the people who produce that product (software, hardware, etc.) don't properly support it.
User forums and\or chat lines, are useful and may help.  But!  They do not constitute proper support (not for installation purposes anyway).

  • Backing up iPad and iPhone to Windows 7 Pro Computer

I am using a HP 8200 Elite computer with Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit.  My problem is backing up my 2 iPads Sys 8.1.3 and 2 iPhones Sys 8.1.3 & 7.1..2.  I find that iTunes was made to play music and they made the backup feature very uncomfortable, not at all mac like.  It is my opinion that after owning several Apple products from the Apple Lisa and Floppy Disk Mac's SE's SE30's and Mac II's that Apple in General is forgetting that they are the user friendly originator and this is especially true with iTunes.  I like to keep all of my data on my Windows computer as well as in the cloud. Especially pictures.  That way I can transfer them between devices used by my wife and I.  I do not play music on any of the devices.  I have had more failures with iTunes than any other program I have ever owned.  Claris Works and FileMaker Pro still work Great on my 32 Bit BioStar Windows 7 Pro Computer.  My Problem is only with iTunes which was apparently built to play music and very undependable and not user friendly for backups.  I can not speak for iTunes ability to play music.

So what exactly is wrong with its ability to backup?

  • When an internet connection is available, I run iTunes and it shuts down on my Windows 7 64bit computer.

When an internet connection is available, I run iTunes and it shuts down on my Windows 7 64bit computer.  It used to crash when I went to the iTunes store but, after installing the newest version of iTunes it crashes if there is an internet connection.  I can turn off my internet access and then run the software but, once I try the iTunes store again it crashes.  It does not give an error message as to why its doing this.  Just says it encountered a problem.  I cannot do anything with my iPad or iPod without this working.  Its extremely frustrating.
I have also contacted Apple several times and they give me links to other's problems but, none have worked to fix this.

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
