Auto 311 Movement after 321 posting.

Hi,
We do posting change via QA11 from quality inspection to restricted usage. We have a must that we have to make automate 311 movement (Str Loc to Str Loc) after finishing 321 posting movement.
Is there any exit, badi or other solutions we haven't found yet for this?
PS: We tried one badi related with material document (BADI's working before creating material document for 321) but it's not satisfied for this.
And also we tried one function at the time of creating material document (for 321), but it blocks to create other material document (for 311) because of creating posting material document (for 321).
Your helps will be apreciated greatly.

I try to explain briefly.
When i do posting change for materials via QA11on the 0100 str location, i want to make automatic 311 movement from 0100 to 0500 after QA11.
0100 Str Loc is without WM and 0500 is with WM. So, i want firstly do posting change - 321 ( by manuel) for materials on 0105 Str Loc and move this materials to another Str Loc - 311 (from 0100 to 0500) (but this must be done by system automatically in the background).
My problem is how i can manage automatic movement in the background for 311?
Maybe there's some exit or BADI ?

Dear Experts,
In my business requirement we are transfering stock from qulity to un-restrcited after acceptance.
Depending upon Result achived with some characteristics we are going to reduce the stock by 512 mov.
this fucntionlity we have fixed proposinately making payment by deducting Moisture.
Presently we have put the logic once upon 321 mov automatically system will post 512 mov document in the background in the same time. some time without saving 321 document postings system is going for 512 mov postings.
Earlier we have put delay time [commit work logic] to post 512 mov type after 321 mov, this was working fine but problem was becasue of commit work there was stock in-consistency.So we removed the logic.
Now without delay time system is posting 512 mov.
I want to put the logic in such way that system should check the 321 mov postings , upon confirming 321 mov 512 mov need to be done.

As I remember, the follow-up function can be execute after UD saved ('321' stock posing) without delay.

Inventory: Movement after count with post date before the count date.

Hi,
We have stock movements all the days of the week.
We conduct physical inventories on Sunday mornings. There are not stock movements on Sunday mornings (stock movements on Sunday starts at night).
Usually we create the SAP Physical Inventory Document on Fridays, assigning Saturday as the Planned Count Date.
We enter the SAP Physical Inventory Count on Sunday (at the end of the count) or on Monday.
How you recommend us to use SAPu2019s Physical Inventory feature in order to calculate the Book Inventory considering all stock movements with posting date less than or equal to Saturday?
Please, suggest us a solution that If we register a movement after we enter the count but with post date before the count date (and the count is not posted yet), the Book inventory is modified accordingly.

SAP takes the book inventory in the moment you enter the count.
Best you set block movements , this block will be removed automatically when you enter the count. So you can prevent users from posting until you have entered the count.
If you set the freeze book inventory, then SAP takes the book inventory in the moment you create the document.
This is not a good way if you still have movements after inventory document creation and actual count.
You have to make sure - organisational wise, outside SAP - that all movements that happened before inventory count are posted before you start entering the count. There is nothing in SAP that can help you in this case.

Transfer Posting - 311 movement via Delivery

I have a scenario where I need to transfer stock from 1 Storage Location to another Storage Location with same Plant (Movement type 311).
Is it possible to do 311 movement type via Delivery?
If yes, can someone give me the complete steps to configure the scenario.

PS - have found other posts indicating that clips smaller than 2s or sometimes 5s, or "short files" can cause this. Modern style editing often uses short takes ! Good grief I cannot believe Apple. Well I deleted a half a dozen short sections and can export, but now of course the video is a ruined piiece of junk and I need to re-do the whole thing, the sound etc. which is basically taking as much time as the original. And each time I re-do it I risk again this lovely error -50 and again trying to figure out what thing bugs it via trial and error instead of a REASONABLE ERROR MESSAGE POINTING TO THE CLIP IT CAN'T PROCESS. What a mess. I HATE this iMovie application - full of BUGS BUGS BUGS which Apple will not fix obviously, since I had this product for a few years and see just hundreds of hits on Google about this error with disappointed users. Such junk I cannot believe I paid money for it and Apple does not support it with fixes !!!
If anyone knows of a GOOD reasonably priced video editing program NOT from APPLE I am still looking for suggestions. I want to do more video in future, but obviously NOT with iMovie !!!

GR Cancellation after stock posting

Hi Gurus,
QM persons have done result recording and posted the stock to unrestricted stock.Now the production person want to cancel the GR. But system is not allowing cancellation of GR.Is there any way to cancel GR after stock posting.

Dear,
T. Code MB1B & movement type 344, you can transfer the Material from Unrestricted use to Block Stock.
Or MBST and reverse the GR you have done , then use movement type 102 in the MIGO or MB31.
Please check SAP note note 33924 Reversing the UD and 175842-QM lot stock reversal.

Auto-start movies in Keynote -- help!!

I have a short (:21) QT movie in my Keynote project; twice now I've gone into the Apple store for help getting the movie to self-start; both times I have come home, been able to get the movie to then self-start twice; it then reverts to not auto-starting; the movie shows the poster frame for the duration of the transition, then moves on quickly to the next slide. The fix seems to vanish. I'm not using a build, just dragged the movie onto a slide. I'm desperate; does anyone have a suggestion for me?

I have had this before and it could be to do with the poster frame you mention. Best always start clean - drag the movie to a new slide which has no transition. Double click it on the slide and it should run cleanly. Have the Inspector open on the Quicktime pane - if it's running OK you should see it counting down the time to left and right of the controls. Make sure there is no Poster frame set otherwise, when played, it just shows the poster frame and the movie runs behind it. If you want to start the movie running at a particular scene, use the start and stop sliders to determine which bit of the movie to show. Personally, I have always found the Poster frame control confusing, so never use it. If I need a holding image, i use QT to export the required still frame and drag this over the top of the movie and then Build it out as the Movie Builds in.

543 Movement After GR?

Long story short, I forgot add some supplied material to a L type subcontract order. The PO has already been received in. Is there a way to do the 543 movement after the GR has been completed? If not, what's the proper way consume the inventory?

To make the PO with item category "L".The goods is
tranferred to subcontractor by 541 movement type.for this
movement note NO accounting doc takes place.when GR is done
automatically,543 movement takes place which take care of
the consumption os components.
So there is no chance of 543 movement after GR in this cycle..543 movement is auto matic in subcntracting....

Embed question - play one movie after another

I am trying to figure out how to play a short 10 second clip before each movie on my website. The clip may be a short ad or a promo and will depend upon the content of the main video. What is the code that enables you to play one move after another in a web page. I don't want to edit the two clips to become one cos over time the ads and promos will change. In Realplayer I remember using SMIL but how is it done in QT. I will eventually write code to write out the Embed tag but now i am just experimenting. Here is what my drupal site puts out

Embed the initial movie clip as normal, but give it an HREF property.
Set the source for the HREF to be the next movie, set autohref=true, and set target="myself". It's the same technique you use to build a poster movie but (a) instead of having the poster movie open QT Player, you have its target open in its own frame and (b) instead of waiting for a user to click the poster, you have the poster movie "click itself".
Code that I used a very long time ago to display a "Loading..." graphic as a movie loaded (waste of effort, actually, as the movie is fast start and loads very fast):

Auto Empty Folder After 90 days

One of the best things I ever did was to setup a folder in my email that auto empties itself after 90 days. its great to use as a holding place for emails that I need to hold onto for a short period of time, but then want to make go away. shipping confirmations are a great example.
I'm interested in doing the same thing with a desktop folder. I know that time machine and what not gives me recovery options for things I delete, but this is a bit different. This is for items that I want to delete, just not right now. What I'd like it to do is delete items after they've been in the folder for some specified period of time, like 60 or 90 days.

There's no easy way to do that. You'd have to create a script that would scan the contents of a folder and move anything older than 90 days to the trash. And you'd have to set up a way to run that script repeatedly, on an automated basis. Someone may have created third-party software to do this, though I'm not familiar with it.
I'd say that you probably don't need that. Just delete the items, and if your Time Machine backup drive is large enough, they'll stay in the backup for a long time, easily longer than 90 days. No need for such a temporary repository!

AE CS5 - Shape Layer - Anchor point moves after position keyframe

I am experiencing unintuitive (to me) behaviour with a brand new shape layer. Here are the steps to reproduce the issue. I have made a screen cap of the problem but can't figure out how to upload it to this forum.
1. In an existing composition, I create a new Shape Layer
2. By default the anchor point (center point) is in the dead center of the shape layer. Perfect.
3. I turn on Position keyframing, and add a position keyframe at my current time
4. Instantly the anchor point now jumps to the center of the composition, and so now when I scale my shape layer it doesn't scale properly
If I try to use the Pan Behind tool, I get position keyframing. Besides, I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO THIS, since the anchor point was in the correct spot to start with, and it's only because of this keyframing "bug" that the anchor point jumps.
What am I missing or doing wrong? How can I add a position keyframe to a BRAND NEW LAYER that has no other animation on it, and still keep the anchor point in the dead center of my shape?

Thanks to Rick and Mylenium for your helpful answers. Rick, I'd prefer not to have to manually reposition, because I'm never going to be as mathematically precise as the software for positioning the Anchor Point dead center.

In my defense as far as the constant exhortations to "RTFM", we all know that most veteran software users only go to the manual when there's a problem. You also know that Adobe's help system (particluarly in regards to search) has gotten worse over the years, not better. So when I run into a situation like this, I'm going to search through the help for what I believe the problem is: namely "anchor points", "transformations" and "keyframes", and maybe "shape layers". This is a fair amount of research, and it's exactly what I do as my first line of defense.
The second line of defense that most tech savvy folk do, is a Google search; for example: "anchor point moves after position keyframe" or "After Effects shapes layer anchor point moves keyframe" etc. And you spend your time sifting through forums trying to find the relevant answers. I feel that THAT is my true due diligence, rather than reading the F'n Adobe manual that is so very very sparse.
So after my due diligence, I turn to the experts communities, because there I know I will get educated, reliable help within a reasonable turnaround time. And because I myself contribute to these same forums in areas where I have higher than average expertise. The Adobe Forums have proven to be one of the great online resources.
Finally, now that I have a great answer from two knowledgeable experts (thanks again!), I've also enriched the community, because of the way I have crafted my post title, hopefully the next poor ******* who has a similar problem and a similar methodology to finding resolution will stubmle upon my post because I've tried to overload the title with relevant keywords that will generate hits in google.
Through my question, and your accurate answers, the global knowledgebase has improved.
So forgive me for not memorizing the F'n Adobe online help. I go to the resources that are the most useful, expedient, and provide the greatest value as a whole.

Goods Issue not possible with ref to Reservation using 201 mvt type when reservation created by 311 movement type

HI MM Folks,
My requirement is reservation should be created with 311 movt type. When we do good issue with 201 movt type with reference to reservation
system is throwing an error "Goods movement not possible with mvmt type 311". Due to MRP run we should create a reservation using 311 movement type but not 201 mvt type, (If we create a reservation 201 movt type, during MRP run automatically reservation quantity also taking into consideration, to avoid this we will be creating reservation as 311 movt type). Is there any enhancement to available to reach the requirement. If it is possible give me guidelines.

Movement type 311 is for doing transfer posting from storage location to storage location with single step.But Movement Type 201 is to have consumption entry with respect to cost center etc...
You are creating a reservation using 311 movement type and while posting the entry you are selecting the"Executable action in MIGO" is "A08-Transfer Posting" so system will always use the movement type used at the time of reservation only.Here you can not change.
And more over if you process entry with 201 movement type system creates accounting documents but with movement type 311 system will not create accounting documents.

WM 321 Posting change qa to unres for consignment materials

How can I realize automatic WM-transfer order / posting change processing for a quality to unrestricted posting (initated via QA11 record usage decision) of a consignment material?
I am able to realize the automatic posting change / transfer order processing for a non-consigment material (after QA11-usage decision). Therefore I have defined "321 / Posting change, quality" posting change WM/IM customizing.
To-be-process:
MIGO Goods receipt posting with reference to PO
QA11 Usage decision
LB11 Create Transfer Order / Place stock
The goal is that the user does not require a special WM-processing also for the consignment material related to Quality Management.
I am able to create the transfer order (based on posting change 321 quality to unrestricted / consignment) manually via LU04 but I am looking for automatic TO-creation /-confirmation.

Please check the following configuration to make sure search strategy is complete for combination Stock Type Q (Quality) and Special Stock K (Consignment):
Logistics Execution > Warehouse Management > Interfaces > Define Quality Management > Activate QM Interim Storage Type Search
Example of settings:

311 movement (MB1B) - HUM

Dear all,
Is it possible to post a 311 movement (stock transfer from storage loc. to storage loc.) (transaction MB1B) when the source storage location is managed WITH handling units (HUM) and the destination storage location is NOT managed with handling units (NOR in WM)?

I would do this way:
tcode: HUMO
select handling unit that you want to move from one location to another
on HU list, select HU and go to menu: Edit > Change HU postings > Storage location
Enter receiving storage location, confirm
--> HU is transfered from WM-HUM issuing storage location to IM receiving location.
If you check te material document behind - you will find movement type 311.

Mistakenly reversed goods receipt after invoice posted

Hi experts,
I already post this question in EAM forum, but moved to here as I think I will get more useful replies.
I have a PO that was goods receipted and invoiced receipted. Later on, the GR was reversed, and now that entry needs to be reverse... We're having a negative value in our reports that should not be there.
What would be the way to fix this? Is it OK that the goods receipted may be reversed after invoice receipted.. i.e. after an invoice has been posted? In Tx. OMBZ the Mvt. 102 has "RevGR desp. IR" unchecked.

Just do a GR again for the PO and this should fix your problem. The original document and reversal documents will remain there with another GR document against PO.
Unless the payment against the invoice hasnt been made, your preceding documents can be changed. Once the payment has been made, you should not be able to change any preceding document.
