Auto-dial during a call question

I don't know if anything can be done about this but thought I'd ask.
My client is using a UC320. The attendant's console has a bunch of buttons on a sidecar that have been programmed as auto-speed dials. If one of their clients calls and says "hey, I need to talk to Brad the carpenter," the receptionist can just press that programmed button on her side-car, and the caller is connected to the carpenter's cell phone.
The call comes INTO the carpenter with the CID of the office, rather than the client that is calling.
So they would like to know whether they can have either of these: (1) An ability to talk to the carpenter first and say "client such and such is on the phone and I'm going to xfer them to you," or (2) Send the CID of the person that called, so the carpenter doesn't think it is the main office calling.
Any hope?

How do i turn off the auto dial following a call failure?

I have an issue,in that i could be driving my car, lose signal, regain signal and then have hours/numerous conversations. When i get out of the car and swipe/unlock the phone, it instantly calls back the lost call. This can be frustrating as at the same time all of my emails start to appear and it is not always obvious that you have called someone back!
Any ideas?

Try inserting and removing the earbuds several times.
If this doesn't work, insert the earbuds and start playing a song and then remove the earbuds. If sound is not heard from the external speaker, time to give AppleCare a call (800) 694-7466 or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby.
Lint or a foreign substance in the earbud jack can cause this and it doesn't take much.

My 5 keeps pausing conversations during a call, how can I get it to lock

My cheek or ear always mutes the conversation during a call. Is there a way to get it to auto lock during a call?

It sounds like you have a problem with the proximity sensor that turns the screen off when you are on the phone. Do you have a case on the phone? If you do, try taking the case off and test a call. See if the screen turns off when you bring the phone up to your ear. If it does, it is possible the case is blocking something in the proximity sensor which is not allowing it to work properly. If it still does not work after taking the case off, you can perform the user troubleshooting, power off/on, reset by holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. If that doesn't work, then a restore, first from a backup and if needed then as a new device if necessary.

My bionic has started having my calls hang up unexpectedly and tries to dial calls during a call by my face touching screen I guess, can I fix it?

This started about 2 weeks ago, when I get calls they either can't hear me and we gotta call back, or during a call my screen lights up and either my face causes it to hang up or phone does, or it try's to dial another phone number for me, it tried an international number, I can not afford this for sure, but I have cleaned senors and screen per protocol and tried updates. At the same time my camera started only focusing every now and then, it doesn't alert me for some of my calls and texts randomly, and starts to make a call on its own while it is sitting on a table with no one touching it, is it me and my phone or is others having these issues and can I fix them?

Auto dialer not calling out

I have a water alarm that I can connect to my BT phone line. It will call the programmed numbers if there is a water leak.
However, I can't get it to call out using my BT phone line.
I have taken the devie round to a friend's house and tried it on their phone line - it works perfectly.
I live in a flat (as does the friend I tested it with). I have also tried it in another flat in the block who has a BT line and it also didn't work using theirs.
I have broadband from PlusNet.
I can make and receive calls perfectly using my phone - it is just the auto dialer that doesn't work.
Can anyone help? Could there be a problem with my line that is stopping the auto dialer from working. Maybe it dials the numbers too quickly for my line - although it does work at my friend's place.

The dialler must be set to use tone dialling and not loop disconnect.
Loop disconnect will quite often fail if the circuit has broadband on it, as the broadband filters distort the DC pulses.
Loop disconnect will not be supported on the future 21CN phone network, and manufacturers have been told to phase it out.

HT201401 Phone doesn't go blank during call - ear/face dialing during call

Help! My Iphone4 doesn't go blank during calls, resulting in ear/face dialing. I've had this problem since I took it out of the box. Anyone out there with this problem that was able to resolve it?

There is a proximity sensor near the front receiver/speaker on the front of the phone the is supposed to sense when you have raised your phone to your face during a call and turn off the screen. Your symptoms indicate there is something wrong with the proximity sensor on your phone. Try cleaning or removing your screen protector to be sure that isn't the culprit. If it isn't, make an appointment with the genius bar at a nearby Apple store to have it looked at. (If you feel it was related to iOS 6, you could try restoring your phone first to see if that would help.)

When making or receiving calls on my iPhone 4, I can hear the person on the other end, but they can't hear me. This happens most of the time, but occaisionally, it works! Sometimes it starts during the call...Can you help me?

Problem:
Videos, memos and other sound microphone using applications work without any problem. It just appears when calling or being called. Sometimes it starts during the call.
Situation:
I sent my damaged IPhone 4 to apple for reparation. I bought it for 180 € + 20 € for my retailer.
Some calls later this problem started (only at the new or repaired IPhone). My 3 month warranty is almost over (4 weeks left)
Steps to solve the problem:
- rebootet the IPhone several times
- made a backup (iCloud and ITunes) and recovered it again
- I set back all settings to standard.
--> Nothing changed
Then I went to my retailer, who sent it to Apple, but I just received a sheet of paper where they said, they did nothing.
Surprisingly the problem still exists. Started at the second call I received. Now the warranty time is going to run out in 4 weeks.
Open Questions:
What else can I do? I have a not working IPhone and nobody want's to help me ?!? I feel lost and disappointed. Do they want to cheat me, so my warranty runs out? Thanks for any help

Z10 loses signal during a call

I have a issue with loss of signal during a call on my z10.
When the automatic mail checking enabled and during a call mail is checked, I hear snatches of words and communication break, look at the screen see the message "network is busy" and zero signal icon. But after a few seconds the signal becomes full again.
Sometimes I have to call back 3-4 times to finish the conversation.
I have tried different OS versions, but nothing helps.
I had to turn off push notification in gmail account and switch to manual mail check for this to happen as infrequently as possible. But still it happens sometimes.
Many users from Russia have same problem.
My current OS: 10.2.1.3247

I would suggest removing the battery and placing it back in. If the issue still persists, then I suggest contacting your network service provider and try a new SIM card.

Hey, so i went to the apple store yesterday and explained the issue i had with a Genious there, She did a few tests to see if she could reproduce the issue (tried calling my phone) which produced the issue every try Lol.
We took a look at my account and she said that i was 20 days past warranty but since its only 22 days she would just ignore it and give me a replacement phone.
So if this happens to anyone else just book an appoitment with your closest Apple store and if you are in warranty or a few days out of warranty (in some cases) they will just give you a replacement phone without asking any questions.
If you dont have warranty and are past your warranty date by like a month or two they wont do the free replacement and instead you will have to pay 230$ for a replacement phone (thank god i didnt have to pay that LoL)

Voice dialing and talking caller ID

I bought the nokia n9 and while I am very happy of how it looks and feels and greatly disappointed for the lack of many necessary apps and features. The upmost important of which are the voice dialing and talking caller id.
Will we ever see these features available to nokia n9? Maybe a better question would be: will nokia ever going to update this device to pack missing features or not?

not at the moment.
not too sure about what is coming in pr1.3 though...couldnt say if it will include voice operation...not that it is necessary.
if nokia does indeed kill using the meego/harmattan os, the community will surely keep it alive somehow for a while.

Sending data during the call with java enabled mobile devices

this is the problem :
i have 2 mobile phone with java enabled os , i want to call (dial) from phone1 to phone2 with java code , (this will be done by platformRequest("tell:123456"))
AND then i want to for example press key '1' in phone1 during the call some program send this key to phone2 and in phone2 i want to switch this key and understand that was key '1' ...
how can i send this data for example a key pressed event to another phone with J2ME ???
i am developing it with netbeans Mobile Application by the way ...
could you please tell me your opinion and help me in this ,

UC540 Auto Dial

Hello everybody,
We have setup a UC540 at a clients office, and now they are asking if we can setup a Auto Dialer, so they can put a bunch of phone numbers and the system will call those phone numbers and read a small script. Basically like have the system cold-call.
Does anybody know how this can be done? or if there is a script that we can use? or any other way that this can be accomplished.

Disable iPhone Cellular Calls. On your iPhone, go to Settings > FaceTime, then turn off iPhone Cellular Calls.
You may have to use Face Time to make calls from the IPAD -- there are page or 2 on that --

VoIP Auto Dialer for testing numbers

We are porting several thousand numbers over to SIP connectivity via the carrier in a couple of weeks. I need to find an auto dialer of sorts that will allow me to input a range of phone numbers and then have the dialer dial each number and report back on the status - fast busy, ring, voicemail, or whatever. I would love to rely on the carrier and their reporting information, but many hundreds of these lines are too critical to not actually test with an actual call. Doe anyone know of a good application that can do what I am describing?

CRM Auto-Dialer for ACT! Contact Manager

I'm using 7961 series phone and a contact manager that has auto-dialer that usually needs an analog line. I do have a digital to analog converter but it does not respond since there is no dial tone after getting outside line. Question: I wondered if there are config settings that allow the phone to accept the touch-tone signal/phone number to speed dial out? Comments? Many thnxs k
