Auto generate a web gallery index page in web module for output multiple galleries

As an extension of a Web Gallery, it should be possible to create an entire gallery page with sub galleries in Lightroom. it will be great if it is also template based.

See
The Turning Gate for a template that does that.

  • Auto-generate new form as additional page

I have a form I created in Adobe Acrobat. Is there a way that Acrobat can be set to auto-generate that form on additional pages as the need arises or is the only way to do this is create the additional pages initially?

Yes, a form created in Acrobat can do this by spawning a hidden template page using JavaScript. If it has to work with Reader, however, you users will have to use Reader 11. It can work with older versions of Reader, but only if the document has been Reader-enabled with LiveCycle Reader Extensions, as opposed to just Acrobat.

  • Building A Photo Gallery Index Page...

I recently installed the PowerGallery Dreamweaver Extension. I've uploaded my photos (a total of thirty five separate galleries), but am unsure of how to create an index page that will allow my readers/users to easily select from what we offer.
Any suggestions on how this can be done?
Am I correct in assuming I will need/want to build the index using a php page?
    Thanks!

Your questions are a little confusing.  index.xxx is usually the default name of a file in a given folder, in your root folder, that is what most people refer to as your home page.  The index can be .htm or .html or .php...or others.
What you might be referring to is that many times these extentions create their own folder and they then create an index.xxx page that this gallery is build on.  I am not famiar with the product you mentioned.
Perhaps you could clarify what you mean.

  • How to get web module for CUSTCRMPRJ (crm 5.0)?

    Hello all.
I try to create test CRM 5.0 application with own context root. Here are steps from Extension guide:
    1) Import the Development Configuration into your Netweaver IDE.
    2) Create a new Enterprise Application Development Component in Software Component CRMCUSTPRJ. If you want to extend crm/b2b, create a new development component home/b2b
    3) Add the Web Module you want to extend to the Enterprise Archive
    4) Adjust the context root
    5) Copy all files except application.xml from the META-INF directory of SAP standard Enterprise Archive into the META-INF directory of the new Development Component. If you want to modify or extend the crm/b2b application, open the project for crm/b2b. A project for the previously created development should already be open.
Open the java perspective and copy the following files from the META-INF directory of the crm/b2b
component to the META-INF directory of the home/b2b component:
    - application-j2ee-engine.xml
    - data-source-aliases.xml
    - log-configuration.xml
    - monitor-configuration.xml
    - monitor-configuration.dtd
    6) Check in the new Development Component.
I found that I forgot to include web module to my new app. Oops. According to application.xml web module must be called sap.comcrmisawebb2b.war. I found it in the SAP_SHRAPP.SCA/sap.com_crm~b2b.sda. Should I use that module or no? If yes how I can include it to CUSTCRMPRJ?
Also I found that other xml files from list above can be found in several components. So I'm confusing and can't decide from which component I have to copy that files and how to set its values.

  • Single SSL Web Listener for hosting multiple web sites

    Hi All,
We are currently hosting multiple websites with Single HTTP Web Listener .. As of now it's everything is working fine..
Now we have planned to have SSL for the hosted sites
Each hosting site will have different SSL Certificates and  i am little confused to use Single SSL Web Listener to host multiple web Sites...
Can any one guide me to use Singel SSL Listener for using all hosted sites..
We are having TMG on DMZ Network on Single Nic..
    KJSUBBU

    Hi,
it is no problem to host multiple SSL websites with only one IP address / certificate on the TMG Server. Only the authentication options for the published websites must be unique, because you cannot use multiple authentication options in one Listener
TMG Server uses HTTPS to HTTPS bridging, so you can use Host header and more to distinguish between the different internal websites:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc995178.aspx
Regarding the SSL certificate on the internal webservers. TMG must trust the issuing certificate authority which issued certificates for these websites and the name you used to connect from the TMG Server to the internal webserver must part of the CN (Common
Name) or SAN (Subject Alternate Name) on the certificates of the webservers

  • Using Lightroom 5 web module for first time  - all files are declared missing in Export/Upload (all visible/usable in Library/Development modules) - HELP

Lightroom user for 3 years and only use internal renaming/moving of files - system is iMac OSX.

    Thanks for the responses.
I have already installed HWMonitor when dj_page suggested it may be due to overheating yesterday.
Tried to insert a print sceeen but file was too big.
The CPU package is running at 62°C
the 4 cores vary from 61,62,64,54
I don't know if this is hot or normal.
Once I get into Lightroom I have no way of telling what the temps are as the second I generate a 1:1 preview the computer reboots.
All three case fans and CPU fan are running.
Don't know what else I can check.
The case is a mid-tower Antec with lots of space and well designed ventilation.
Currently I'm using the Intel graphics display built into the motherboard. Have a new graphics card coming because I suspect that the added load of the video onto the CPU may be causing the issue. What do you all think?

  • Web module: Galleries index page

    Hello,
There is one thing that I would like to see in lightroom: The ability to create an index that link to all available gallery. Each gallery link could also have an index of the first photo of each gallery.
This would same me the trouble of having to create and maintain a gallery index by myself.

  • Photo albums missing from gallery index

I published a photo gallery page with five albums.  All is well on first viewing of gallery index page in both Firefox and Safari.  However, when I return to gallery index after viewing an album, only one to two albums appear on the gallery index page.  And they change on repeated returns to the gallery!  Clearing the cache in Safari resets all five albums to the index.  www.farmhouseinnvt.com/galleries.html.
    Thanks

I'm seeing 5 albums on your galleries page.  Clear your browser's cache (Command+Option+E for Safari) and reload the page.
However when I went back to the page after playing the slideshow some of the albums were missing.  After viewing the Action window for the Gallerie's page (Command+Option+A) I found that there are some missing files.  Not all of your files are getting uploaded to the server.

  • Edit an index page for a scanned OCR document

We have documents that we will either scan or have sent to us in scanned PDF format.
What we need to do is reorder the pages, apply OCR to these documents, fix up the OCR, generate an index page for the document, then trim down the generated index to just the topics of interest and merge together items that are synonyms or otherwise related phrases for the same topics in the index.
Acrobat Pro seems to do most of this, except for generating and editing the index page.
Which Adobe tools will we need for this job please?

A set of pages, usually found near the end of a book that list "important" concepts found in the book along with the page numbers where these concepts are mentioned.
Spontaneous human combustion ... p234, p1056, all of chapter 26
Only in a PDF these should be links not just to the page but the place on the page where the concept is mentioned.
So the work flow would be:
    Scan document.
    Run OCR.
    Fix the OCR.
Extract Text and generate automatic Index page.
Trim down the words listed in the Index page and glue it to the document.

  • JDev: Generating Web Services for Streaming Attachments

    Hi,
I am a newbie in this field. I am trying to generate web service code using JDev (10.1.3.3). I have an interface class and the implementation class. When I am trying to generate J2EE Web Service for the implementation class, I am getting the following error:

//-- Store image metadata and stream image bytes
    if (incomingAtts.hasNextAttachment())
    throw new Exception("Expected only one attachment");
    return "success";
Can someone please let me know how can I generate the web service for this code using JDev.
    Thanks,
    J

    Hi J,
Why is the concrete class not implementing the ImageStore interface? Anyways, I believe the ImageStoreImpl#storeImage method cannot be static if you want to generate a WS.
Furthermore, you should consider posting your question in the JDev 10G (JDeveloper and ADF forum as this one is for 11G.

  • Lightroom 3 Web module  (Updated)

I've used Lightroom 3 in the past for uploading to my website with out a problem.  Then, it seems at the same time as I uninstalled the trial version of CS5, my Lightroom 3 Web module would no longer upload to my website.
My inablity to upload information to my website has been going on for months.  I have contacted my FTP host and they say there is nothing wrong on their side.  I always check, re-check and re-re-check to make sure all my information is getting entered correctly.  I have even taken classes on the use of Lightroom 3 to make sure I am not missing anything.  When I attempt to upload the information, the exporting of files begins and it progresses all the way to "building the website" then stops after a few minutes and gives me this notice:  "an error occurred sending the file: connection to the server failed".  Can anyone please help?  Should I reinstall the program?  Will I lose all the information if I reinstall?
I should say that I'm running the latest version of Lightroom 3 on a Mac system OS X verson 10.6.8.  Any thoughts are appreciated!

I have a similar problem.  I've been using WSPP Impact, a LR3 plugin, to maintain a site with a gallery index page and 15 galleries.  Addition of each gallery has been straightforward until now.  But for the 16th gallery the WSPP publish service uploaded the photo files to my site server, but will not add the gallery index button to the index page.  This ay be a problem or limitation with the WSPP Impact plugin, but I get no reply to requests for help to the author.  Has anyone experience with this situation?

  • LR Web Module color management problem

I stumbled on to this discussion thread:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/3572174#3572174
initiated by “JimmysPhoto” because I have observed the same LR Web Module problem with images too saturated too much contrast and clipped highlights & shadows. Please note that this is not a settle difference, it’s a major change in the look of the image. I have a calibrated monitor using Spyder3 Elite. All other LR modules display the images exactly as I see in Development Module.
I did a test by exporting an image from the Dev Module to a file using the LR “Export “ function (from RAW to JPEG using sRBG color space) to a Windows file. When I display the image with the Windows Live Photo Gallery Viewer the image looks exactly the same as in the LR Dev module. However, opening this same image with IE-9 I get the same oversaturated look I see in the Web Module.
Because I use the LR Web Module to push photo galleries to my website host server I end up with images that do not look the way I processed them in LR – which is a serious issue for me. Was there any resolution to “JimmysPhoto” problems that I could benefit from?
    I use Win7 64bit, LR 3.X and a high quality Dell U2410 display.

It's very strange that both IE9 and Chrome browsers go to the trouble of doing colour management, but both do it wrong - in different ways!
To colour-manage an image for display, you have to:
Figure out the profile of the image (often embedded in the image, or if none probably assume sRGB unless you know the image colour space by some other means)
Figure out the profile of the monitor (Windows will tell you that, if the monitor has a profile, otherwise you can't colour manage)
Using the two profiles, convert the image from the image colour space , via a Profile Connection Space (typically CIELAB (L*a*b*) or CIEXYZ), into the monitor's colour space.
The hard work is 3; finding out the profiles is easy.
IE9 does 1 and 3 but not 2.  It goes to all the trouble of colour space conversion (step 3), but doesn't bother to look up the monitor profile.  It assumes sRGB, which will be approximately right for most monitors, but never exactly right, and hopelessly wrong for wide gamut monitors.
Chrome does 2 and 3 but not 1.  It goes to all the trouble of color space conversion, but doesn't bother to look up the image profile, assuming all images to be sRGB!
Why do the hard bit, but make a pig's ear of the easy bit?
