Auto login into a website without prompting on Mac OS x

is there a way for firefox to auto login into a windows site with ntlm authentication.
- i have installed the keychain add-on
- i have the password saved in the keychain
when i go to the site, it still prompts me for username and password. Although i can see it is already filled but i must click OK to enter. is there a way to suppress this as well ?

Auto login into workspace task

Hi,
In Live Cycle Process a form is assigned to particular user using Assign Task. This will trigger a mail to the concerned user with the URL for going to the task directly.However on clicking this URL, workspace prompts for User authentication. Only after Authentication, the user is taken to the specified task.
Is there any way by which the URL sent in the mail should take the user to the particular task directly without prompting for authentication.(I have my LC users synchronized with LDAP server, so that my windows login is same as the LC login)

After a Windows 7 auto-update the computer restarted and stopped at the Windows 7 logon screen. I thought I used my Mac system password when I first loaded Win7 but it won't accept it. I tried using the Parallels password and it won't accept that. I checked the keychain and didn't see an entry for Windows 7 login password. Will reloading Win7 corrupt any programs on the Windows side? Will inserting the Win7 CD automatically start the reload and write over the old install?

Save downloads into user drive without prompting.

I am doing selenium webdriver test in java for a web application. It involves downloadable links for which I have to automate, such that the downloadable content just saves to default download directory without any "File Download" - Dialog
box , "Save As", etc.
I will be testing them from Windows 7/Vista Operating system.
Is there any REGEDIT command to do the above?
I have checked forums and blogs for days, and couldnt able find any answer. Please help.

I enter username and password to login into a website, use the site and then logoff. When I open the site again the username & password are alread filled in,

The only way to prevent to from happening that I've found so far is to close Firefox. When I open back up, go to the site the username and password are empty. This hasn't happened with previous versions of Firefox.

You can set the Boolean pref signon.autofillForms to false on the about:config page.

This can also be caused by cookies that weren't removed properly when you logged off.

Auto login into web then maintain session

I wanna create a java application that will be used to access a web page with username, password and captchaText. Since I cannot read the capchaText via java programming, user have to write it down after viewing the JEditorPane.

What the question I have is that.
Could you show me a way to develop this application? Actually I have tried several times to accomplish it but I had several obstacles.
Some of these are:
1-Once I reveal web page on JEditorPane to get captchaText, I send a post request including username,pass, captcha text.
But this request doesnot allow mw to connect web page since second connection means different captcha text.

Auto login in AUR with Firefox.

Is there a way to auto login into AUR with Firefox. Now when I get there, the username and password is filled in. But I would like to be logged in. I think Opera does it.

It should work, I've updated my FF last week and had no problem so far. Actually I'm using FireFox 2.0.0.8 to post this message. I have noscript extension as well.
All you need to do is enable cookies for forms.oracle.com/ and set it as whitelisted if you have any security extensions.

Can't login into iCloud on Mac

When i'm trying to login into my iCloud Account on my Mac, it's shows "Account limit reached".
What should i do?

How do I prevent auto-login? I never EVER save passwords, yet FF logs me into gmail without prompting for login.

I never save passwords - never have, never will. Using evil IE, Gmail works correctly in that it prompts me for ID and password for each new browser instance. Yet when I open gmail with FF, it goes straight to my inbox without prompting for ID or password. I use gmail in "always secure" mode. Cookies are enabled, of course, just did not expect my password to be saved and loaded from a cookie. How can I rectify this problem?

I have this issue too. I have never asked to be "always signed in" with gmail, yet sometimes it will sign me in automatically when I open my Firefox browser. I try clearing everything I can clear ( even though I've said NOT to save my password or sign in automatically), but it still happens. It's not even consistent - sometimes it will happen and sometimes not. This is very frustrating. I share my computer and I do not want automatic sign in anytime! >:o(

How to auto-store files without prompting 'save as'. Adobe X/Adobe X Pro

We have a database program that we have a lot of dokuments on. We have a option to print all documents on each case, and we want to "print" all these documents (word 2003) to the PDF printer and store the files on a pre-defined adress (Example: C:\Users\UserName\Documents\StoreHere\)
We have the "Printer" set as PDF printer as standard, so every time we press print we are prompted to where we want to print the said .doc file. So how to we avoid the prompting and make a setting a standard?
This is OK when its 1-5 files, but when we have 1000 .doc files, things gets very tiresome.
TL;DR: Print .doc files to PDF reader which will auto store any and all .doc files as .pdf files into a pre-defined adress without prompting "save as".

You posted in the wrong place. This is the Reader forum and the Adobe PDF printer is a part of Acrobat...
But anyway, to do that right-click the printer and select Printing Preferences, then go to the "Adobe PDF Settings" tab and click on the Browse button next to the "Adobe PDF Output Folder" drop-down. Select the folder where you want the files to be saved and click OK.
That should do it...

When I installed firefox, it asked if I wanted to use safari settings and I said yes but I think this might be causing the problem. Safari is no longer compatible with citrix ica client. When I reinstalled firefox it automatically installs the safari info. Does anyone know how to re-install firfox without installing safari info?

I'm getting tired of people who supposedly know what

Thanks for the suggestion... but I think my first question would be why these parameters would need re-setting? This is a new machine... It has never been shut down hard. It is used at most 10 hours per week... mostly using Office 2004 for MAC. I need to figure this out as I will soon need it as a Cs2/CS3 - Aperture workhorse.
I too agree that it is best not to use a sledge when a scalpel is needed... but as a novice to the MAC world I may have been misled by Apple support. I seems to have fixed the symptoms ( some) but appears NOT to have addressed the cause... which is what I am after.
Would TechTool Pro detect a bad HD or RAM?
