Auto-Login into these forums here possible ? Enabling by cookie ?

I would appreciate if there is an auto-login into these forums from Oracle.
Currently every time I re-visit the forum pages I have to type in my login+passwd again.
Usually in hundreds of other forums there is an auto-login option selectable.
Could enable this forum feature?

Besides all the incorrect/bad English, is lack of information of which version
Forms/Reports are being run.
And even when you do ask, you still don't get a response.

I agree with ThrashZone, delete the temp files as well as some browser history, cookies, form data, Internet Options\General\Delete...
Reset IE if possible if the above doesn't work.
Sometimes, too much traffic on your internet connection can also cause this kind issue when loading the website

Hope this helps some others too. I had ''played'' a little bit with the Advanced settings of IE11. The setting that restored my ability to Reply and Quote in these forums here, is this:

I am using latest IE 11 with latest updates just today.
I think that I have all settings correct. I am using for the Security tab, and Internet, the Default setting. I double checked, and when I press the Custom level... button, under Scripting, Active Scripting is Enabled. Also, other sites that require
Javascript, are working normally. Like GMail for example, or another Windows site, that has the same:

Safari: login data not remembered + login into this board here fails!

Hi there,
I am having 2 problems with Safari:
At first since a few days (or at least I started to notice it since that time) my login data to internet boards is no longer beeing remembered by Safari. I have to log in again and again each time i visit the forums.
I tried deleting the cookies and then even setting back Safari, but both didn't help.
I then wanted to post it here on the apple-discussions-board to get help, but the bad supprise was, that i cannot login to this board via Safari anymore! So I find myself here now in the uggly situation to post this here from my fathers PC, because with InternetExplorer on this PC i am able to log in. :/
I heared from other ppl on other Forums, that they have similar experiences, at least concerning the fact, that their login data is not remembered anymore for forums. Some say it occured since 10.5.6 .
It would be great if some1 official, could help me here, since it is concerning my private AppleID. But I am thankfull for any Help.
Here some more Info on what happens when i try to login into this board here:
After pressing sign in i am led to a dialogue that is made for creating a new account. The interesting thing there is, that there is neither entered an Apple ID there, nor a Text field, where i could enter one. The area to the right of "AppleID" is simply emptym, and next to it there is a link for logging out of this ID.

The issue that i cannot login here anymore is solved
It was exactly what iBod sugested in the first answer - i had a special letter (?) in my second name. I first didn't think of it because i thought he meaned the alias or AppleID.
I'll mark this topic as solved, and open a new one concerning the auto-login issue seperately, so noone gets confused.

Auto login into a website without prompting on Mac OS x

is there a way for firefox to auto login into a windows site with ntlm authentication.
- i have installed the keychain add-on
- i have the password saved in the keychain
when i go to the site, it still prompts me for username and password. Although i can see it is already filled but i must click OK to enter. is there a way to suppress this as well ?

My auto-login into Windows 7 using Parallels 7 lost the password entry. Can't find it in Keychain. How do I reload Windows 7 without messing with the other programs?

After a Windows 7 auto-update the computer restarted and stopped at the Windows 7 logon screen. I thought I used my Mac system password when I first loaded Win7 but it won't accept it. I tried using the Parallels password and it won't accept that. I checked the keychain and didn't see an entry for Windows 7 login password. Will reloading Win7 corrupt any programs on the Windows side? Will inserting the Win7 CD automatically start the reload and write over the old install?

you need to post this in a Windows Seven forum. It is a Windows problem. ,There is a way to Reset your password but I don't have a link to it.
Try Sevenforums.com a very good Win 7 forum.
Google search Reset Windows 7 Admin or user password.
Then once you have reset it WRITE IT DOWN.

Auto login into workspace task

Hi,
In Live Cycle Process a form is assigned to particular user using Assign Task. This will trigger a mail to the concerned user with the URL for going to the task directly.However on clicking this URL, workspace prompts for User authentication. Only after Authentication, the user is taken to the specified task.
Is there any way by which the URL sent in the mail should take the user to the particular task directly without prompting for authentication.(I have my LC users synchronized with LDAP server, so that my windows login is same as the LC login)

Auto login into web then maintain session

I wanna create a java application that will be used to access a web page with username, password and captchaText. Since I cannot read the capchaText via java programming, user have to write it down after viewing the JEditorPane.

What the question I have is that.
Could you show me a way to develop this application? Actually I have tried several times to accomplish it but I had several obstacles.
Some of these are:
1-Once I reveal web page on JEditorPane to get captchaText, I send a post request including username,pass, captcha text.
But this request doesnot allow mw to connect web page since second connection means different captcha text.

Auto login in AUR with Firefox.

Is there a way to auto login into AUR with Firefox. Now when I get there, the username and password is filled in. But I would like to be logged in. I think Opera does it.

It should work, I've updated my FF last week and had no problem so far. Actually I'm using FireFox 2.0.0.8 to post this message. I have noscript extension as well.
All you need to do is enable cookies for forms.oracle.com/ and set it as whitelisted if you have any security extensions.

Logging into this forum fails

Hi there!
First of all I have to apologize that i am posting here a problem and not feedback - but plz take a minute and see why:
As I am having the problem with Safari that the auto login into forums doesn't work anymore I wanted to login here into the Apple-discussions board to get help. But the bad suprise was, that I am not able to log in here in anymore from my Mac and Safari.
I am absolutely sure to use the right login data, as i can log in via my father's PC and Internet Explorer - from where I am typing this post here now as well.
As pictures say more than a thousand words, I made two screenshots from the login-process, so you see how it looks:

The 1st picture shows the dialogue to enter the login data - filled out.
The 2nd picture shows the site I am led to when then pressing the "Sign In" button.
As you can see it is the form that is used to create an account. On the right you can see that i am still logged out. And the funny thing is, that there is not even a field to type in an AppleID.
I would really love to get some official help here, as this issue occurs especially here on this forum. And it is not good, not beeing able to login into the discussions forum from my Mac.
Here is what i tried so far without success:
- filling out the form I am led to when i want to login
- delete all cookies of Safari
- clearing cache of Safari
- delete the Safari Library files (.pls or on what they are ending)
- setting back safari
Another thing: When I login here via my father's PC, at first i am led to a page where it tells me, that the page I should have been taken doesn't exist, and that contains a link to the discussions-board. But i am loggedin, and when I click that link i can fiew the board an post as usual.
So.. hope you can help me. It's hard to get help, when access to the help-board is denied...

No guarantees, but try the procedure that I have posted below.
Delete Safari's Apple Cookies, and clear the Cache.
Quit Safari, and then reopen it.
On the Discussions Sign In Page, do not enter any info in the text fields.
Instead, under "Did you forget your password?", click on "Click here for assistance".
On the page that opens, click on "Forget your Apple ID?".
Enter the required info, and click Continue.

[Solved]can't disable auto login after upgrade to gnome 2.28

Prior to upgrading gnome to the latest version I had set gdm up to auto log me in. Since the upgrade I can't figure out how to disable auto login. I would like to be able to disable auto login, can anyone on here please help me out here? Thanks for any help provided.

Difficulties with auto capitalisation and autocorrect in these forums

I don't know if it's caused by my recent upgrade from iOS 7 to iOS 8.1 or changes made to these forums, but I'm now having trouble with autocorrect and auto capitalisation when I'm typing in the message text box.
Often when I start a new paragraph, it doesn't automatically change to uppercase. If I change to uppercase manually, it doesn't automatically change back to lowercase for the following letter.
If I make a mistake and delete a letter, the autocorrect suggestions behave as though the letter is still there when I continue typing.
I only see this behaviour in this forum, not on other websites and not in any other apps.
Anyone else?

1st, I see no change made here... looks and acts as I expect. My guess is that your update to iOS 8x is the culprit as there are many folks that have experienced anomalies after their upgrade/update.

As a rule, I get NO auto-cap (like in Microsoft products) - known names, the personal noun " I ", beginning of new paragrahs <-spelling mistake is on purpose**
for example... no shift key for a bit. james brown was faomous for screaming 'ow1, i feel good... i knew that i would'. lady gaga wears a meat suit
i wil now take a screengrab for an example of what I see when composing. all spelling mistakes and capitalizations (or lack thereof) here are intentional (apparently, my dictionary doesn't recognize the plural form of Capitalization) -- all 'AUTO' stuff has 'red-dot underlining'
