Auto P.O from Service Requisition

hi Friends,
I am unable to generate Auto P.O from Service requisition.I have maintained auto P.O in default value of External service IMG and auto P.O in vendor master.
But still when a requisition with fixed or desired vendor is saved it is not converted int P.O.
KINDLY INFORM IF ANY OTHER SETTING IS TO BE MAINTAINED.
THANKS & REGARDS
Venkatesh

Hi Venkatesh
Have u activated Indicator: "automatic purchase order allowed" in material master purchasing view.
if u activate this indicator, purchase orders are generated automatically when purchase requsisitions are converted into purchase orders.
Try this.
I hope it will work.

Pankaj

  • Auto PO creation from service PR(ME59N)

    Hi All,
We have service PR's and need to convert to PO's automatically via ME59N.
I have followed below steps but unable to convert to Po's getting message no Pr's found while executeting ME59N
checked VMR and Automatic PO check box selected.
    Step1: Creating PR for services
Step2: and assigned source to this PR through t.code: ME56 (contract existed for this vendor)
Step3:Run the ME59Nby giving PR Number, but PO is not created
what could be the reason..is any idea about auto PO creation for Service PR's
Incase of material i can successfully converts PR's PO's but services i can't.
    Thanks in Advance,

    Hi venkat
it should create a PO if the contract is valid..
Note 733045 - Wrong Interface values passed to Services for ME59N
When transaction ME59N is used to convert service purchase requisition
(PR) to purchase order (PO),the program within the ME59N transaction
calls the service package with the wrong interface values.
The following example illustrates one such case :
A Service PR is created and an Outline agreement is assigned as a source of supply to the PR.
when the transation ME59N is executed using the PR's the system performs a mandatory check against the Tax code and tax code has to be entered against each service line to complete the transaction even though the tax code is maintained as a condition.
In the above situation, system behaves in a correct manner for the
transaction ME59 but fails for the transaction ME59N.
    Other terms
    MS_SERVICE_PACKAGE , ME59N , ME59 , WITHOUT_SCREEN , COPY_SERVICES
    Reason and Prerequisites
The calling program of the transaction ME59N calls the function
MS_SERVICE_PACKAGE of services with the wrong interface values.
    is it applicable for you?

  • Text Flow from service order to requisition

    Hi Everyone,
I having a problem regarding text flow from service orders IW31/IW32 to requisition ME53N.
I created/updated a service order in IW31/IW32 and enter some text in "Operation Short Text" column. When I release the service order the short text should ideally be reflected in purchase requisition. What's happening right now is that "If the length of text entered in IW32 is more than 40 characters then the text is reflected in requisition ME53N otherwise any updates to this column text are not reflected in ME53N".
I debugged ME53N and found that it gets the value of text using READ_TEXT so I hope the same is stored in standard text while saving IW31/IW32. I checked the text also which is created after saving Iw32 and it contains changed data only if the length of the data is more than 40 characters.
To me it looks like standard SAP process that the text will flow from service order to purchase requisition only if the data length is more than 40 characters. If anyone has any idea can you please share. Is there any sugesstion for correcting this. Any reason or OSS.

  • Auto-triggering of PM Planning from service contract

    Greetings!
I am currently working to automatically trigger preventive maintenance service order from service contracts. However, I have been struggling to understand some of the dates and the date rules, and how they work?
    The dates are:
                                                        Rule Name
    a) Planning start date:                  Today's Date
    b) Planning Date From:                Determine Planned Date
    c) Planning Date To:                    Planned Start + Tolerance
    d) Start of Interval                        Planning Start Date
    e) Service order creation date:     Planned Date - 2 weeks
    f) Tolerance:
Let's say that I would like to have a contract valid from the 13.08.2014 to 13.09.2015, and I want the preventive maintenance service order to be begin from 20.08.2014, with a interval period of every 2 days (may be until 10.09.2015). Then how should I fill these dates in the service contract item ?
I would be glad if someone explained it to me. If you have a better example, I would also appreciate that.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
When you are using Contract is a Outline agreement -That may be Quantity or Value contract this for specific period.
Example you can maitain various Service line items for entire Periods as per the Contract details with Vendor.
when you want to create Release order w.r.t Contract for a specific work or only for Specific Services
whatever you want to required service for that release order that only system will ask us to select the services just like while creating Service entry sheets how we adopt the required services lines for accepting.
we need to select the Services from the contracts by manually while creating Release order
    System will not copy automatically.
If you have more than 100 service lne items in Contract If you want to create release order only for 10 service line items then unnecessarly 100 line items will copies.T o overcome this problems SAP will allow to select the  service manuall for adopting to release order from contract
I think you are clear with the statement.

  • PO CNV: Auto-Create POs from PUR Reqs generated by OM

Objective: Convert open sales orders and maintain the link to the purchase order for back to back and drop shipment sales orders?
Question: Is it possible to convert the sales orders first.  Then run requisition import to create the purchase requisitions in the PO module.  After the requisition lines are created, convert the purchase orders through the open interface table or an API by auto-creating the PO from the requisition lines?  This would maintain the link between purchasing and order management.
If this is not possible, does anyone have any suggestions?  Someone mentioned using BPAs (this assumes I can assign items to specific suppliers).
    Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,
After creating a PR, why you want to go thru open interface.
There is a standard functionality : AUTOCREATE, available , which will convert the PR to PO.
On PO Shipment level, you can view the SO number & Line Number also.
    Please review the below link.

  • How to cancell PO from Service Entry sheet

    Hi,
We have many open service Purchase orders in the system(More than 1800) and we would like to cancell these PO's as business dont need the service.
    Scenario:
We have raised PR, which is approved by multi level approvals
After PR is approved, PO is created again approved by multi level approvals
Now 1% of the above PO's required to be cancelled which is almost aroung 1800 in number.
Pls note that we have Funds management active, so budget has consumed in the system during PR/PO process.
Now if we cancel PO's then even PR's also to be cancelled which is very lengthy process, Is there any other way to do this.
Can we do anything from service entry sheet?
    Regards,
    Sunil

    Hi Sameer
I don't think you can close the PO from ML81N without posting some form of service receipt.
Do you have any experiences with the mass maintenance transactions?
After reading some of the discussions below I would suggest you use the MEMASSPO transaction to set the deletion indicator on each PO item (EKPO-LOEKZ) to "L".  Running transaction MASS for business object will get you to the same functionallity.
There is also a MEMASSRQ transaction (or MASS for business object BUS2105) which you can use to quickly set the closed indicator for the corresponding requisition lines.
This doc http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-25758 written by Parag Parikh should help if you don't have any experience.

I compare everything with development & quality data including material master , source list and everything still I am unable to understand where is the problem , is there any customization settings related to auto po ?  pls. suggest any solution to solve this issue.

    Hi,
    Config setting.
Settings for Automatic PO creation is:
    1. Select the Automatic PO check box/option in Purchasing view of material master
    2. Select the Automatic PO option in the purchasing data view of Vendor master
    3. Maintain Purchase info record
    4. ME56- Assign the vendors to PR's
    5. ME58- Create PO via assignment list(PR-> PO)
    6. ME57- Assign and process PR's
    7. ME59N - Create PO automatically via PR
Above step by step procedure is involved in the Automatic PO creation.

  • Auto PO creation from PR

    Dear All,
I have done all process required for Auto PO creation from PR. With TCode Me59 i am able to create a PO also but some field in PO are blank like in header level Additional  tab - Validity Start and Validity End, in Communication tab - Your Reference and Our Reference.
And while using ME59N, its shows error
    "PO cannot be created
    PO header data still faulty
    Enter Our Reference
    Enter Validity End
    Enter Validity Start
    Enter Your Reference
    Requisition could not be converted"
How will i fill these field. Any link from info record or source list. These field are necessary in PO.
Please anybody help me to solve this issue.

Yes Sir. You have said the right thing. At first i have done the same that make these fields optional. but here as per our business these fields are mandatory for PO. Is there any other way that we forcefully enter data in these fields.
And one more thing i want to ask, i have created PR through MRP run, in this how could i maintain fixed vendor, valuation type, purch org, info record. These all things are necessary to create auto PO creation. Now what are we doing that we create PR through MRP run and then go to change PR enter all these thing and then run ME59N. After that the same problem some fields are blank in PO.
Please suggest me any other way to maintain this....

  • Auto PO  creation using purchase requisition

    Hi,
I have tried the following steps for auto PO creation using purchase requisition.
    i. Maintain Auto PO in Material master Purchasing view
ii. Select Automatic purchase order in Vendor master- Purchase data
    iii. Maintain info-record
    iv. Create PR through ME51
    v. enable source determination during creation of PR
    vi. Execute using ME59N
But Auto PO is creating with the same document type (e.g NB) which is used while creating purchase requisition (e.g NB). Following steps have done in SPRO.
    1. SPRO - MM - Purchasing - purchase requisition - define  document type
    a. NB- PR document type LINK TO DI01- PO document type
    2. SPRO - MM - Purchasing - Purchase order - Define document type
    a. DI01- PO document type LINK TO NB- PR document type
    3. There is no linking from NB - NB & DI01 - DI01 but still it is creating auto PO with document type NB iif requisition has been created with document type NB.
Please suggest on this . waiting for ur quick response.
    Thanks...

  • Imovie 09 How do I stop Imovie from auto importing video from iphoto

Imovie 09 How do I stop Imovie from auto importing video from iphoto.
Hi I've done a lot of searches on how to do this but no answers found.
Imovie is beginning to become really slow because of the large number of video's. It takes 3 minutes to startup. Editing is sometimes slow lot's of spinning beach balls e.t.c.
I would like to only import the video I want to edit and hopefully get a quicker Imovie in the process.
My Iphoto library is about 95 Gbyte in size.
My mac has 4 gb ram and I use the internal disk.
Any other ways to work with Imovie/Iphoto are also welcome.
    regards

I won't get iMovie 9 till Tuesday, but based on what you said I may need to take some precautions. One reason I didn't like iMovie 8 is because it automatically imported everything in iPhoto library. What I'm going to do is create a new iPhoto library before importing the photos/videos from the camera. Or if you already have it in your main iPhoto library copy only the photos you'll use in your iMovie 9 project to the new library. Then start iPhoto while pressing the option key which will allow you to select the new iPhoto library you have created. Then I suppose that when you start iMovie 9 it will automatically import only the photos/videos from the new library.

  • Lead as Follow up document from Service Contract

    Hi Experts,
There is a requirement to create Service Lead from Service Contract. I dont think there is something different by name Service Lead so i assume it is Standard Lead which is present in system.
I maintained the copy control for Tx. Types and as well as for Item Categories.
    Issue:
If i create a Service Contract and create a follow up Lead with no items, it works fine.
Suppose i use an item (sales/service item), and i try to create a follow up Lead, the resulting pop-up to choose items from preceding document shows and error and the item doesnot get coped and displays an error, 'Sold-to-Party is not eligible for contract items'.
Has anyone come across this issue?
    Thanks and Regards,
    MG

    Hi Maggii,
    1. Is it possible to create a Lead from Service Contract? Does the system allow it even after maintaining relevant copy control configurations?
A.Yes, it is possible while arranging of copy controls for transactions need to activate u201CCopy Item numberu201D.
2.What does the error message, 'Sold to party not eligible for contract items' mean....have u ever seen such error?
    A.  Means, the particular sold to party is not maintained for that contract (for trail check with any maintained sold to party for that error message), cross check the contract again under in partner functions.
If it is suits to your requirement please some reward points,
    Thanks,
    Suuny.
