Auto-Redirecting to RequestCenter

Auto-Redirecting to RequestCenter
I am trying to set up a web page to automatically forward visitors to the MyServices page of RequestCenter. I have set up the redirect and it works with one exception. Whenever a person hits the redirect they arrive at the MyServices page but the stylesheet fails to load. This causes the newScale logo to not appear in the upper left hand corner as well. Has anyone else encountered this type of issue?
I am redirecting to http://xxx.xxx.xxx/RequestCenter
Should I be using a different URL? This URL works if I enter it directly into my address bar.

Try this: ''Firefox button > Options > Options (or Tools > Options) > Advanced > General, '''''un-check''''' "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"''

  • I want Recent Pages Back!!!!!!!!!!! I hate having to start over when I get an auto redirect page, because I can't choose how many pages I want to go back.

V 3.6.17 has a dropdown menu to the right of the back and forward button called "recent pages" BRING IT BACK!!!!
When I go to a page that auto redirects me to another page,, the only way to get back to the page I was on before hand is to be able to choose to go back more than one page at a time. You took that away in the newer versions.. If I was able to go back to that older version I would just for that feature.

Please calm down. You are shouting at users(volunteers) like yourself who are trying to help.
If you have Back/Forward arrow(s) on your Navigation Bar, right click on them and you'll see your recent pages. You can also hold down left click for a second or two.
There is an extension that restores the drop marker if you feel you need it -

  • How to make a redirect without auto-redirect from the portlet "edit" mode?

How to make a redirect without auto-redirect from the portlet "edit" mode?
I use some sofisticated customizing with server-side validation of the form data. I want to redirect to the page of the portlet "show" mode and to the "edit" mode depending on the validation results. How can I do it?

    Heay.....this worked for me.
I am able to change the mode programatically from edit to show.
    HttpPortletRendererUtil.handleEditAction(portletRenderRequest,"OK");
I removed Apply , OK and Cancel buttons and applied my own Submit and Back button in Personalize mode and then change the mode to show on click of Back button using the above mentioned statement.

  • Is there a way to set up an auto redirect from my work email to my iPhone?

I currently using my personal email on my iPhone. However, I would like to find a way to get my work emails automatically redirected to my iPhone when I am not in the office. I don't want to set up a separate account because I only want those emails which I receive after I leave the office. I'm envisioning something similar to call forwarding on a phone where when you are in the office, you take it off, and when you are out, you can turn it on.
Is this possible, and if so, how do I do it, and what do I need to tell my company's IT person? I don't want to be carrying 2 smart phones (Blackberry for work, iPhone for personal use).
    Thanks,

The only problem will be when replying or forwarding a work email with your personal email account, which will be sent with your personal email account/address.
This can't be set up with the iPhone - this must be set up at the server for the email account to be forwarded to another email account.
Is your work account an Exchange account? If so, I'm not sure if an Exchange account supports being forwarded to another email account, and this would need to be turned on at the server at work every day at a designated time and turned off at a designated time in the morning.

  • Mail auto redirecting one account to another; Emails older than 1/5/14 missing from Inbox

On our MacBook Pro running 10.6.8 Snow Leopard, using Apple's Mail 4.6 (1035),  my wife's Mail account began experiencing two problems, one starting about 2 weeks ago, the other just recently noticed.
She uses IMAP to download her primary account from DirectNIC.   This account syncs the Inbox with her iPad Air.  She also POPS mail from a secondary account from WebHostingHub.
    1.  About 2 weeks ago, emails received by her primary account starting being automatically copied and redirected to her secondary account.  Thus, when she uses the "Get Mail" button (or her mail is automatically downloaded), she ends up with two copies of every email in her Inbox, and the ones in her primary account are automatically marked as read.
She does not have any rules in Mail, nor does she have any email forwarders in her DirectNIC or POP settings.  We can not figure out how this automatic forwarding started or how to turn it off.  We have rebuilt the Inboxes for both her primary and secondary accounts.
    2. Yesterday my wife noticed that her Inbox for her primary account is missing emails she had in there that were older than January 5, 2014.  All older emails that had previously been in her Inbox are now gone, and we can not find where they went.  We have not made any changes to her Inbox's behavior, and she was barely using even 1% of her quota on her primary email's IMAP server at DirectNIC.
Any clues about how to fix any of the above would be welcome.
    Charlie

I called my ISP and sorted out the problem.  Something changed in the behavior of the POP account so that it started causing both of the problems I described in my original post.  That POP account was using the same email server info as the primary account, and was removing emails after a week, as well as looping back emails sent to the primary account, creating the duplicates.
I deleted the POP account, which fixed both problems.  She forwards emails sent to her secondary account to her primary account.  I then used  the directions at http://support.apple.com/kb/ta23485 so that she can send emails from the email address she is using as her secondary account.

Do you have any suspicious profiles installed in Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management (if that item exists near the bottom of the General list) or a VPN profile installed under Settings > General > VPN?
Do you have any proxies defined in your Wi-fi connections (Settings > Wi-Fi > tap "I" in a circle icon)?
These would not explain you seeing this over 3G or on a Mac by changing the user agent to match iOS 7, though.
Does this happen with all page loads, or just web searches?  (Any suspicious search engines listed in Settings > Safari > Search Engine?)
This almost appears to be a transparent http proxy messing with your web browser requests, and/or some kind of poisoned DNS server.  Does this happen on both http (non-secure) and https (secure) connections?  For example, does loading <http://google.com/> differ from loading <https://google.com/>?

  • SSRS2005 auto redirect

    Hello,
In my organization, we are still  using  a SSRS2005 server that hosts around 100 reports.  We started the migration process to move these reports to a more  current version (better late than never... J).
Since this task will take few good months, I would like to leave the old links in the old server  in tact (until all reports have been migrated) , and once the user click, automatically redirect to the new version of those reports that are ready.
I did figure out how to do it in a two-step process (a simple SSRS-2005 with one text-box hyper-linked to the new report). The problem here, is that the user needs to click twice  in order to reach the desired page (not a show-stopper, yet,  you
    know how users are..)
I am looking for a one-path solution, i.e. – once the user clicks the report’s URL pointing to the SSRS-2005 server, it will automatically redirect  and render the new report.
Since I'm working in a organization with a lot (tons…) of red tape, a possible solution isconfined soley to the RDL object (hence, no tweaking of the SSRS server, adding 'home-grown'   DLLs,  etc.')
    Any idea?
    Thanks!
    Shaul

    Hi Shaul,
    Sorry for the delay.
Based on my further research, I find that we can use URL Rewrite Module in IIS Manager to achieve your requirement. By default, the URL Rewrite Module is not installed on IIS Manager. We can download it from the following URL:
    http://www.iis.net/learn/extensions/url-rewrite-module/using-the-url-rewrite-module
After installing the URL Rewrite Module in IIS Manager, we can use it to create a rewrite rule using the following format:
    http://ssrs_2005/reportserver?
    to
    http://ssrs_2012/reportserver?
For more details, please refer to the URL(http://www.iis.net/learn/extensions/url-rewrite-module/creating-rewrite-rules-for-the-url-rewrite-module)
    with the following steps:
Type reportserver? in the Pattern textbox WITH ignore case checkbox.
Select Redirect in the Action type, then write the URL below as the Redirect URL:
    http://ssrs_2012/reportserver?
Enable Append query string, and select Permanent (301) as the Redirect type.
Besides, if we want to redirect to another URL only when we click some particular reports on report manager, we can add some conditions with Match Any as Logical grouping in the Conditions tab.
    Hope this helps.

By defalut AutoForwardEnabled is set to false, if you change it to True then your outlook rule will work. You can allow it for a single recipient domain or for all recipient domains
***View existing setting of remote default domain***
Get-RemoteDomain -Identity default | fl Identity, AutoForwardEnabled
***Allow Autoforward for all recipient domain***
    Set-RemoteDomain -Identity default -AutoForwardEnabled $True

  • ADF Auto Redirect

I have a FTR application which I deployed on a certain server, but I have moved it to another server. Is it possible to redirect all requests coming in to the old server to go to the correct page at the new server instead?
The old application is located at servername/projname/faces/filename.jspx.
It would be okay to redirect just this URL to the new server.
But would be better if it's possible to redirect servername/(whatever_the_user_puts_in_here) to the new server as well.

  • Is there a fix for Firefox being auto-redirected to known attack site from every new Google search?

Every time I do a Google search, the first link in that search clicked will direct me to a known attack site at http://64.111.212.229/ (URL followed by lines of gibberish code). It will occur only on the first link of any new search attempted.
My AV (Symantec Corporate 10.1.7.7000 version 12/8/2010 rev. 2) does not pick up any malware.
The problem does not occur in Google Chrome.
Does anyone have a similar problem and/or solution?
My Firefox: 3.6.13, OS: Windows 2003 Server Standard SP2.

@sergej0363: Well, nothing to stop you with your solution. I agree that some anit-spyware can be a bigger nuisance. Having said that, the problem you described may or may not look like a spyware problem though. I have found Spybot S&D to be quite serious and efficient, trusted by many.
It is not true that Mozilla is targeted specifically, although some browser-specific attacks may indeed occur, most often with IE. Assuming that your problem is indeed malware/spyware related it may be a matter of time until another browser is affected. And by no means Mozilla doesn't care. It actually has features like "block reported attack sites" or "web forgeries" when turned on. And Mozilla's OSS development model is usually considered to produce better security. But all this cannot always prevent e. g. drive-by infections or accidentally installing a spammer add-on.
As always, the classical triple precaution anti-virus, firewall, anti-spyware should help, besides keeping browser and OS software up to date and general.

  • How to redirect to j_security_check without the form based authentication

    Hi,
I am trying to integrate my application authentication to a backend system with the ibm websphere form based authentication. Below is the scenario:
    1. when the user clicks on a protected url, the container will redirect the user to the login page.
    2. instead of displaying the login page, i would like to automatically redirect the user to j_security_check action. which means that instead of displaying the login.jsp page, the user will automatically be redirected to j_security_check to perform some user authentication, and if successful, the application pages will be displayed.
The reason i want to auto redirect the user to j_security_check is because i am implementing some integration work with a backend system. the user will key in the username/password from another system. once the user is authenticated, the user information will be passed to my system. The login page of my system will not be displayed again, and by using the username value, my system will assume that the user has successfully been authenticated (authentication done by the backend system), and therefore automatically gain authorization to login into my application.
i hope that clarifies my problem.
anyone out there has any solution to my problem?
    thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi Darren,
Let me explain the whole authentication environment.
There are actually 2 systems in this environment. Let;s call it system A and system B.
System B is actually using the authentication mechanism that i described in my previous message.
A login page will be presented to the user (within system A). User credential is collected and passed to system A to be authenticated. System A will use its own mechanism to authenticate the user.
Once the user is authenticated, system A will pass the user ID to system B. At this point, system B will assume that the user is authenticated and grant authorization to access the application. (system B global security is enabled and implements the form based authentication mechanism) Therefore, at this point, the redirect page (so called login page) will not be displayed to the user, instead it will be automatically redirected to the j_security_check action to execute the customer Ldap Registry class. (ps : eventhough authentication is no longer needed, the flow will still go to Ldap Registry class. A check is done in the Ldap Registry class to skip the authentication, if it is not boot strap login. Only first and only time authentication is done for boot strap login).
In the case a protected url is clicked or invoked by the user directly, the application will redirect the user to the initial login of system A. Otherwise (the url link originates from system A, during the passing of user token to system B), system B will redirect to j_security_check and execute the customer Ldap Registry class.
Based on the above explained scenario, in your opinion, is there any security loopholes? consider that system B no longer perform authentication but only to grant authorization to the user.
Appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance
Anyway, i am using the ibm websphere server. :)
