Auto retry for the instances under manual recovery

Hi
I have a situation where i need to refire all the instances which are in activities tab [because of manual intervention in the fault policy] at regular intervals.
Checked the documentation where it says in 10.1.3.4 we can configure a time frame where it will refire all the instances which are in recover tab under administration.
Tried out that option but it is not taking the instacnes which are in activities tab
Can some one suggest a workaround for this

Hi,
When I try to recover the instance that is waiting for manual recovery, I didn't see anything happening.
Also the the fault policy is active and working fine during the retry intervals. That means If I disable one of the webservices and enable them during the retry it is success after some failure retries.
Any ides why the recovery not working in SOA 10.1.3.3

HT4098 How do I turn off auto-renew for the Guardian?

Trying to turn off auto-renew for The Guardian. From PC.
I did the following:
1. Launch iTunes on your computer
2. Choose Store>Sign In from the iTunes menu.
3. Enter your Apple ID and password when prompted.
4. Choose Store>View My Account. You may be asked to re-enter your Apple ID password. Click
View Account. (I chose "iTunes Store", in the side bar, since the word "Store" in the menu bar didn't list "My Account". Then I chose "Account" in Quick Links, on the right-hand side of the screen. I got the "Account Information" ok.)
5. From the Account Information screen, scroll to the bottomof the page to the Settings section.
Then it said to: 6. Click "Manage" to the right of "Subscriptions".
The word "Subscriptions" does not appear in the Settings section. Nothing in the Settings section takes me to a page on which to manage my subscriptions.

Auto-complete for the email addresses in the mail app is not working

Hi, could somebody kindly help, please?
I have just got a new iphone 5s after my old 5 got broken. When I got the new 5s one I had to restore everything from the back-up copy I had on my ipad or in my icloud, whatever.
The problem is that in the standard mail app which you have at the bottom of the screen auto-complete for the email addresses is not working on this new iphone. However, it still works on the ipad.
Can I turn it on somewhere or is it a bug? I remember When my old iohone was new as well as the ipad and ipod, I did not have to turn on anything. The recent email addresses list (appears when one starts to type an address in the address bar when writing a new email message) appeared automatically. And on this phone it doesn't appear at all. It doesn't suggest me any recent or whichever email addresses and I am really lazy to type an address each time.
Could this be solved?

You can do a runtime trace using ST01 but you won´t find out how much buffer a program "uses" since the buffer is shared for all workprocesses.

need to make an automatic startup and shut down for the instance when i start and shutdown the OS
i tried Use dbstart and dbshut scripts then created file dbora at dbora as a script
then i did
# ln -s /etc/init.d/dbora /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/K01dbora
# ln -s /etc/init.d/dbora /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/S99dbora
# ln -s /etc/init.d/dbora /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/K01dbora
# ln -s /etc/init.d/dbora /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S99dbora
nothing worked

Hi,
The /etc/oratab should have an entry for this database with 'Y' in the last field as:
Oracle_sid: Oracle_Home:Y, so when dbstart command issued it will check the oratab and starts the database.
I advise you to keep the dbstart and dbshut in different scripts and save them directly in the runlevel directories, instead of creating links.

Dose middle tier installation asks for the instance name?It should, and the name is not the same as infrastructure. Infrastructure and Midtier are different installations and different Oracle homes, in fact they could be installed on different machines.
In Application Server terminology, an "Instance" is related to an "Installation", the difference is that an installation is the set of files installed into an Oracle home and an instance is the set of processes associated with those files.

Customized name for report instances under publication (BOXI 3.1)

Hi All,
Is a there any way to have custom name for the report instances under publication history (default enterprise location). I can see we can customize report instance names using placeholders if destination is email or local drive or enterprise inbox, but doesn't have similar option under publication history.
Basically we have a Agency Report which has to be distributed to individual agencies through email while another copies will be maintained under publication history. But unfortunately there is no way (as it seems to me) to find out which report instance is for which agency (unless one manually opens and checks the report).
So my query to you is that, is there any work around to customize report instances name under publication history.

My client has exactly the same requirement; for instances/documents to be published to default location with custom instance and document names.
I'm really struggling to find any built in capability to do this however I hope I'm wrong on this!
At the moment I'm writing a publication extension to do this but again I hope this isn't necessary!
Does anyone know if this is possible?

BPM Application requires auto claim for worklist instances

Our BPM application (SOA 11g), requires that the BPM instances in the worklist be auto claim enabled for each instance. The reason for this is that each instance is an ADF form that has 2 very distinct outcomes. Having set the human task(based on which the ADF forms are built) in the BPM workflow, to auto-claim enabled, I still notice that the instances are not claimed when open. The forms can be open by multiple users concurrently which is not an acceptable solution by the client from a security point of view. We need to enable auto claim as part of our BPM administration for each instance.
Is there a way within the BPM Administration that this can be done?
Any suggestions programatically or via the tool?

Hi,
Are you using your own certificates for SSL? If yes,you must remove references to the demo certificates by removing the following line from the setDomainEnv file for your version of the operating system.
-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=${WL_HOME}/server/lib/DemoTrust.jks
Also check that the path for truststore are properly set in setDomainEnv.sh/Cmd file.

Problem of Down Payment for the Asset under Construction

Hi All:
My problem is, after do down payment for the AuC, we got an additional amount under the values booked of AuC, double checked the accounting document, found that system generated two items when doing actual settlement with t-code CJ88, for example, when display asset value, system lists the value as follows:
Net book value: 194,325 (Normally only has this value under the AuC)
Down payment: 93,950
I don't know why? And how to balance the asset values? Please give me some hint, thanks in advance.

I think the system behavior is right ! When posting the final invoice and clearing the down payment the additional items (Down payment: 93,950) were cleared. Go ahead!

There are serveral customers under one customer hierarchy, we could easily get the group value in COPA (KE30) via
the "customer hierarchy" parameter in the navigation channel. Could we also get the group value towards the incoming sales
order and Account Receivable? Thanks for the suggestion...

Please check "FDM_COLL01". It is very useful report, you can drill down the report inside aswell.
