Auto Signature - Microsoft Exchange Account

Dear Experts,
I use a Microsoft Exchange Account on Q10 - The issue is that I have to separately set auto signatures in my device. I would like to use the same auto signatures as configured in the Exchange Account, so that I don't have to separately set up in the device.  Is this possible?
Regards, Ajay.

Copy and paste them from one of your emails into the Signature settings for the account. There's no way to automatically link them, to the Exchange account signature.

Eversince installed Mountain Lion, i can't receive emails from my Microsoft Exchange account!!
Why is this so? I don't have this problem prior to installing the Mountain Lion OS X

Have you tried 10.8.1?  It includes fixes in this area.  Usually the problem is if Active Directory is returning incorrect Exchange information in response to an Autodiscover request.  In 10.8.1 you can manually edit this information.

  • I can't connect apple mail with a microsoft exchange account

Since 3 days ago my microsoft exchange account can't be connected from my apple mail

    Hey there ovillamil,
If you are having issues connecting with your Microsoft Exchange account, take a look at the resources below for troubleshooting steps:
OS X Mail: Using Microsoft Exchange (EWS) accounts - Apple Support

Microsoft Exchange may require additional configuration in order to allow communication with certain devices. Consult with your IT manager or Administrator of your Exchange server for further questions about your Exchange setup.

  • Cannot use Microsoft Exchange account to connect to Google Apps hosted accounts.

I am the Desktop and Device support Coordinator for my Department.  We use Google Apps to host our email, calendar, docs, etc.  On iOS and Android devices to connect we use an exchange account.
    Email: [email protected]
    Server: m.google.com
    Domain: domain.com
    Username: username
And it works just fine.  However when we give the touchpad the same info, we get an error, bad username or password.  This is using passwords greater than 12 characters, with spaces and special characters.
    Username: username
    Email: [email protected]
    Server: https://m.google.com
    Domain: domain.com
Any though on what we are doing wrong, or does webos exchange accounts not suppor this?
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)

First, changing the password and trying it again with the "Google" account type doesn't work.  And it shouldn't, on every other device (Android, iOS) if we try it with the standard "Google" account it does not work.
Now on every other device we use the "Microsoft Exchange" account type and it does work. Because Google provides a Microsoft Exchange account to act as a connector to their services.
Remember, this is not a standard google account, this is an App account, and as such cannot use the standard google login.  If I tried to login to any of our app service (mail.google.com, calendar.google.com, docs.google.com) from it's google site it fails.  The only way we can access the account is through a special login page that ties into our single sign on (mail.example.com, cal.example.com, docs.example.com), or use the Exchange Connector.
Now if the Microsoft Exchange account connection does not work in webOs to connect to Google, great.  We return our tablets, and discourage pre's. But I really like webOS and would really like to use the touch pad and keep my pre.

  • Can't verify my microsoft exchange account

    Hi there,

    Any help gratefully appreciated.

  • Repeated password prompts with a Microsoft Exchange account

I use an 32GB iPod touch running the latest iPhone software as a PDA and music player. To help me keep organised, I use my company Wi-Fi network to connect to our Microsoft Exchange server. I think we are running the 2003 version.
From time to time, the iPod prompts me for my Exchange password. If I enter it, it reports a login failure. When our sysadmin - who is very good - looks at the Exchange Server log files, it shows a successful login attempt. He mentioned that he is also seeing occasional funny behaviour with iPhones, but that Windows Mobile devices seem to have no trouble.
Is this an iPhone software glitch, please? If so, is it likely that it will be fixed in the near future?

Right...thanks for that...but, from all that I understand, OWA offers only email OTA...not calendar nor contacts nor anything else. As I said earlier, invites that arrive in email will go onto the BB calendar since they come in as an email. But, if an appointment is, for instance, added directly to the Outlook calendar, then it will not appear on the BB calendar.
All of the behavior you describe does not match with the behavior as I understand it for a BIS/OWA connection. All of the behavior you describe does match a BES connected device (with some problems in erroneously auto-deleting calendar items).
Hence, all of the confusion...sorry I can't be more help.

  • Cannot remove or deactivate a Microsoft Exchange account on iPhone.

I recently joined a Company and activate my email on my iPhone via Microsoft Exchange. After the email account has been set, some of the features on my iphone were deactivated. And I cannot remove the passcode and the email account as well. Any help?

Speak to your Exchange Admins about this issue, as they are the ones that placed the limits.

  • Microsoft Exchange Account On an iPhone 5

I feel pretty stupid about this. I have an Iphone 5 with the newest software. I have a school email account that is Microsoft Exchange. I use my MacBookPro at school to check the Exchange account just fine using wireless that is provided here at school; not a physical ethernet connection.
I cannot get my Iphone to connect to the Exchange email. I have looked at the settings in my laptop Mail account and it all seems like pretty conventional settings, but it just won't connect. It says it cannot find the server, which is "mail.polo222.org".
I don't have much recourse to any IT help, as our IT man is rabidly anti-mac and is a physics teacher turned IT guy and I don't think is always up to speed on the latest networking (even though he is far more along than I am).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Brian
For what it is worth, I have a comcast account and an AOL account that work just fine on the Iphone. I don't really undestand the differences in IMAP and POP terms, but I believe Exchange is something different from either one of them. I didn't make those choices when trying to set up the account; I just chose "Exchange" when first given the choice.

I don't know if ActiveSync is enabled or not. I'm not great with this stuff and our IT guy is unhelpful. I think I am the only one in the building who even check school email from home, so I don't know if anyone else has a phone or tablet that will check email. Does the fact that my laptop will check it fine on any wireless connection help?
Just a thought for Apple. This seems like something that when I connected my Iphone to my laptop, it would have made all of those settings by copying from my Mail. Of course, that may seem easy and in fact be staggeringly difficult.
My apologies for not having an informed answer to your question.

  • Microsoft Exchange Account on Mac OS X Lion latest version

    - I successfully add my company microsoft exhange account on my iPad2 and iPhone4S.
    - I tried to add on my macbookair via "system preferences" / "Mail Contacts & Calenders" but on Mail on Calendar and on Address Book i get the same message type of error witch consists on a "server not reponding" on port XXX ...
    - Is there a different aproach when add a microsoft account on iOS (iphone/ipad) and on OS X Lion (macbookair)?
    - Does apple have a step by step guide to add a microsoft account on Lion?
    Thank You,
    Paulo.

    Hi Benjamin,
Apologies for Jeff's rather useless answer.
You can absolutely install Microsoft Exchange on a Mac Pro server to accompany OS X Server.
Head over to VMware, Parallels or Oracle and grab a virtualisation hypervisor. I personally recommend VMware ESXi.
Setup a Virtual Machine running a copy of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2013. (More information here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/server-cloud/products/windows-server-2012-r2/buy.aspx#fbid=f4pyYTvvgji and here http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/microsoft-exchange-server-2013-business-email-email-server-try-now-FX103765014.aspx)
If you would rather not involve yourself with all the fuss involved with maintaining Microsoft Exchange, head over to Microsoft Office's website and Subscribe to Office 365 for Business. If you would rather not work with Microsoft at all, head over to Google
    and setup Google Apps.
    Thanks,
    Will

  • My iPad won't sync emails older than 2 weeks from my Microsoft Exchange account (no "No limit" option). Any chance I can get that back?

I set up 2 differents Exchange accounts on my iPad2, Hotmail and business email.
While the hotmail account has the "No limit" option for the syncing timeframe, the other one doesn't (2 weeks max.). Does anyone have that same problem and a possible solution?
    Thanks a lot!

I would contact Yahoo and find out what settings you are supposed to use when setting up a business account on an iPad.

  • My mail won't sync with microsoft exchange account

    Macbook pro 10.8.1
I have my Mail setup to sync with a Microsft Exchange Account. All syncs between my exchange account, my iPad and iPhone. However on my laptop, old messaged that I deleted ages ago are still there. I get new mail, so I know that it is syncing at some level. When I try to delete the old messages, it tells me I cannot delete them....they are like a lingering shadow that is annoying as there are about 20 of them!

Add it as an Outlook account, but still use your full email adress as a hotmail address.
Use this link if needed: ssl.apple.com/support/mail-settings-lookup/

  • Is it possible to sync a calendar that is shared from a microsoft exchange account?

I subscribe currently to a calendar from a coworker on exchange.  In outlook answering this invite was a very simple one click and it was added to my list of calendars.
I cannot seem to add this calendar to the ipad.  I have tried several things, basically all that I can think of and no luck.  No calendar.
Itunes does not see the calendar in sync.  If I choose "all calendars" in sync it never appears.
Icloud does not see it or add it from outlook despite it having been there for quite some time.
I really need some help here.

Is the CalDAV account information specific to me or would it be specific to the author of the calendar who initially sent out the invite?
Will all the petinent updating and manipulating permissions remain as they were intended per the original invite?
Many thanks again.  I was hesitant to post thinking I was missing something simple and standard.  Thanks for your quick and courteous response.
    You are welcome.
Since shared information is temporary yours (temporary while being shared) you should be fine. CalDav is just underlying exchange protocol. So as long as you can see that info shared -CalDav is just a delivery vehicle.
As far as permissions - yes they are going to stay. Thousands of us share for example Google calendars, cause Google integrated calendars sync in IOS mail. The question is just as simple as if your exchange supports it and if they(your IT) are going to allow your ipad/iphone connect to it.(Make sure to get their instructions if your exchange requires specific setup)

  • I'm unable to load my Microsoft Exchange account.  Think I'm entering the wrong info for domain and user but haven't figured out the correct inputs...

I think the problem is with my domain and user name information.  Does anyone have any suggestions...

I know that when i tried to add a Live/Hotmail account I tried MS Ex but ended up having to forward my Live to my Gmail or just add an IMAP account.

  • Battery drain with 2 Push accounts Mobile Me and Microsoft exchange:

One might ask why I need two. Well, I started with a Microsoft Exchange account,, and now am trying Mobile Me. For now they are both being pushed to me. Do I get extra drain from having 2 accounts? I wonder if I get twice the drainage with 2 instead of 1 account. I had done a restore from backup when I got my new 3GS,, and didn't notice too much drain, but thought I could do better, so I restored a fresh 3.0 firmware, without a backup,, funny thing is, that I thought I would enhance battery life. So far, it seems worse than my restore from backup . All that work, with little improvement to show for it

You are going to get more battery drain with the 2 push accounts. Try removing the Exchange account for one day and see what happens to the battery life.
