Auto Signature

I'm trying to figure out how to change the auto signature at the end of my emails. Right now it says, 'Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry'. I am hoping there is a way to change that.

This is configured on the BIS.  You can log into http://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw
and change your signature from there.  This link varies by carrier.

Settings -> Mail -> Signature and edit it to whatever you'd like.

You don't buy an unlocked phone. You buy a Verizon iPhone at full retail. I just did this myself last month. I paid full retail for the phone and activated it on my plan. This allowed me to get a new phone before I was eligible to upgrade and keep my unlimited data. I also got a good deal on trading in my iPhone 5.
You can buy the phone through Verizon or through Apple. If you buy it through Apple, I'd suggest that you not have them activated but do that yourself by logging into your account on your computer.
    Best of luck.

  • Auto Signature for Curve 8900 series

I'm trying to add a auto signature for text and email for Curve 8900

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
I don't know about an SMS auto-sig, but for emails, you can access that via Setup > Email Settings (it may be slightly different depending on your device OS level).  Navigate into the account and there is a field for that information.
You can also do this from your carriers BIS website:
    http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Where_can_I_log_into_my_BIS_account%3F
If you've not used this before, you'll have to create an ID/password and associate it to your BB PIN...and then you'll have to also use those credentials on your BB. But there should be a checkbox to tick that will have your BB remember those credentials for future uses, so you only have to enter them once.
Now, if you are on BES for some email, you must do something different...let us know and we'll guide you about that.
    Cheers!

  • Changing Auto Signature

I have bb 8830 from Verizon and bes sync with exchange 2003 at our office.  I'm having a problem changing the auto signature when I send e-mails out from my bb. basically I change the auto signature and it does not appear on any outgoing mail sent from my bb.

If you want to change signature and you're with BIS subscription
then log on to your carrier's BIS site. Once logges in then go to Email Accounts under Settings menu on the left. Under each Valid Email Account you'll find your desired mail ID, click on Edit button and go to signature and change/type in your message. You can set different signature for each of your mail ID.
If you're on BES then go to Messages -> Options -> Email Settings -> type in your desired signature under Use Auto Signature.

  • How to Edit an Auto Signature (Curve 9300)

    Dear Community,
This question is not an easy one to answer and I can not find anything on any of the community boards.  The problem = I can not edit the automatic signature on my personal e-mail.
    I "already" have:
    1) Several personal e-mail accounts
    2) Auto signatures on all of these accounts
What I can not do is edit them.  Couple of things to note; 1) my device Message Options does not have the option to add a signature nor to edit it  2) my device Set-Up / E-mail does not open.
It is almost as if my device is missing some software.  FYI, already downloaded the latest version and I keep it up to date.
So, the last time I set up my additional personal e-mail accounts was via a link on my HH to the BIS.
The device is mine but when I worked for a bank it was added to their BES.  Ever since I have not been able to make certain changes to the device.  So additionally, if anyone knows how to "remove and change" the home webpage of my past employer and disable the password protection - that would be great news!!
    Thanks in advance...J

    1. Please look at your Options > Security > Security Information screen. What is on that screen?
    2. If there is an IT Policy located on that screen, you will need to remove that IT Policy.
See the RIM Knowledge Base article here for information on how to remove an IT Policy. See the Method Three in the link:  KB14202 How to remove an IT policy from a BlackBerry smartphone
    3. At that point, (or perhaps now) you should be able to edit your email signature at your BIS account setup screen.
Please try this FIRST, using your BlackBerry browser...
    • Go to mobile.blackberry.com OR to www.blackberry.com/integrate
    • Scroll down to Communication and then to Email.
    • Choose the appropriate email set up options.
If that works and completes your email setup/editing, good.

  • Auto-signature not working after upgrade to V4.5.0.42

I upgraded the software on my BB Curve 8300 to version 4.5.0.42 and not the auto-signature is not working. Any help or suggestions how to solve this?
    Thanks

    Welcome to the forums.
Is the signature from a BIS (pesonal) account or BES (company account, connected to company BlackBerry server)?  Is your email working, just not your signature?

  • No option to turn off auto signature

I just got the blackberry Pearl...and there is not an option to turn off their auto signature of "Sent from my BlackBerry® smartphone with SprintSpeed".  When I go into email settings (or any other settings in the message section) there is not an option for auto signature or even to adding a signature.  Any ideas on why this would be or if there is an upgrade i need to download in order to be able to turn this off or add a signature?
I am not using a Blackberry Enterprise Server with this account, but not sure if that matters.

  • Auto Signature - Microsoft Exchange Account

    Dear Experts,
I use a Microsoft Exchange Account on Q10 - The issue is that I have to separately set auto signatures in my device. I would like to use the same auto signatures as configured in the Exchange Account, so that I don't have to separately set up in the device.  Is this possible?
    Regards, Ajay.

Copy and paste them from one of your emails into the Signature settings for the account. There's no way to automatically link them, to the Exchange account signature.

  • Auto Signature with T-Mobile

I'm having a problem with the placement of my auto signature through T-Mobile.  Whenever I respond to an email, my auto signature is placed at the very bottom of the string of emails...not at the end of the most recent message.  Does anyone know how this can be fixed?  I already spoke with T-Mobile and they said that is just the way it works.

  • Auto signatures for multiple email accounts-iPhone

I currently have both my personal and work emails accounts set up on my iPhone. I created an automatice signature which I want to use only on my work account, but it also shows on when I send an email from my personal account. Does anyone know how to use an automatic signature for only one account? Thanks!

there's no fully automatic version available that I have found however there's an App called @Signature which allows you to create unique signatures for mail accounts or even have different signatures for the same account.
All you have to remember is that when you create an email, you use the App rather than mail as it inserts the correct signature into a blank email created by Mail. It still defaults to one email account so its far form perfect but at least it stores the correct signatures.

  • Disable Auto Signature without password

I have a user on the Mac platform who's not prompted for a password when he signs .pdfs.
I've checked his keychain but there's no Adobe entry - where else can this feature be accessed and disabled?
    thanks

What version of Acrobat or Reader is being used?
    In Acrobat 9 you'd select:
Advanced > Security Settings > Digital IDs > Digital ID Files > Password Timeout (right pane) > [Enter Password]
and then change from "Never" to one of the other options.
    In Reader 10:
Edit > Protection > Security Settings
to get to the Security Settings dialog.
    In Reader 9:
    Document > Security Settings

  • Signature again- personal Curve 3G thinks it is in an enterprise?

    Hi
I am trying to change the signature in my 9300 Curve 3G. I use Gmail / GoogleSync. I must have set the email sig at some time, but now cannot find how to adjust it. I have also just bee upgraded (ugh!) from OS 5 to OS 6 (and HATE it, BTW). Howver, I couldn't find how to edit my sig on V 5 either!
I looked up the solutionhere, and read ....
For a work email account, click Email Preferences. If the Message Services field appears, change this field to the appropriate email account. If the Use Auto Signature check box is not selected, select it. In the field that appears, place your cursor.
For a personal email account, click Email Account Management. Click an email account. Click Edit.
However mine is a personal email a/c, but I get the 'Email Preferences' option presented to me. There is no 'Message Service' field, and no 'Use Auto Signature' check box - in fact no visible way to adjust / edit my signature.
    What is going on?
    Thanks,
    Mike

I go to Setup and am offerred "Email Account (1)" as the only email-related topic. I CANNOT select this. i.e. I 'click' on this icon and nothing happens. I CAN select the other icons (Blackberry Msgr, Instant Messenger, etc).
