AUTO-SPACING FOR SWYPE ON N9 WON'T TURN ON

Auto-spacing on my n9 was working well before, but I decided to turn it off for a while. Until I went back to switch it on,
now it's not working at all. I also just updated my n9 software yesterday but all went well. Just thought I say. So
any help on switching the auto-spacing back on will be much appreciated.

Did you ever back up your phone using iTunes on your computer?
If you can use iTunes on your computer but don't have your device:
Go to iTunes > Preferences (Mac) or Edit > Preferences (PC).
Click the Devices tab.
Hold your mouse over a backup to display the serial number for that device. You'll also see the IMEI/MEID and CDN for your iPhone or iPad (cellular model).

My ipad identifies my charging cable as not recognized, although it was bought at the same store, at the same time as the ipad. It charged for awhile, but now the ipad won't turn on or even charge. I still have all the packaging and receipt as proof. Any ideas why? Purchase was over a year  ago, so I can't get Apple help on the phone.

Try moving and wiggle the devise  if that works the port or the tip of the charger is Brocken if the wire is an apple chatter made by Apple it should not I give your problems I've it in a forren ore different manufacturer that could be the problem apple suggest all apples devises should all ways charges and sync with an apple manufactured charger for the best proformance don't try other doggy chargers made from other manufactures.

  • My iPhone 4S just turned off for no reason and won't turn back on?

My iPhone 4S just died for no apparent reason and now it will not turn back on. It was at about 90% battery at the time because I had just recently charged it so I don't think it died because of low battery. I have tried plugging it into outlets and computers/iTunes and nothing seems to work. I also can't do the trick involving holding down the power and home button because my power button has been jammed for over a year now. My iPhone is about 2 years old and I have never had this problem before. Earlier today it died for no reason but when I plugged it in, it turned on with no problem.
Is there anything I can do about this? Also, I am due for a phone upgrade in about 3 weeks. I was planning on getting the 5S. Is there any way that I would be able to get the upgrade several weeks early if my phone is broken?

  • Fix for wireless keyboard that won't turn on

I replaced my batteries after the low warning.  It wouldn't turn on.  Looking into the battery compartment, I saw that the bottom didn't appear like that on my wife's keyboard.  Mine was like looking down on a cup with a shiny button in the middle.  My wife's had the shiny button, but the plastic wasn't cupped.  I used a wooden dowel to loosen mine, removed it, replaced the batteries, and it worked!  Then I replaced the plastic so that the cupped side went in first.  Again replaced the batteries, and I'm using it right now.  The piece is designed to keep the keyboard contact centered for the battery.
Apparently, changing the batteries can result in the plastic piece getting turned around.  The cupped area prevents the positive battery contact from contacting the shiny button at the bottom.  It appears to be a design flaw.  My wife's keyboard is much younger than mine, so it seems that they are still being produced like that.  Be careful when you remove the batteries!
    YMMV

  • MacBook 13" (Model A1181) searching for keybord and mouse/ won't turn on

My MacBook will not turn on again.
Initially my screen was not working correctly and indication suggested a broken inverter board. I changed the inverter board (succesfully) and while having the machine open I cleaned and reassembled the fan, applied new thermal paste and reassembled the heat sink unit. When I had reassembled the whole machine, I turned it on and moved the display to different angles to check if it would work properly again, which it did.
But then it became problematic. At the first start, one could hear the sound and see the Apple. After that the machine asked on the screen to turn on mouse and keybord and showed no reaction when using the trackpad/keys (still not fully booted).
I thought of not having plugged in the upper case cable correctly and re-opened the MacBook and checked it again. But it got worse and since then, pushing the power button shows absolutely no reaction.
What might be the source of it and how could it be fixed possibly?

Nobody ever wants to hear this, but consider taking your computer in to an authorized service place.  It could be your wifi card is going bad.

  • HT1386 Auto sync between iPhone and iTunes won't turn off

Somehow my iPhone still starts to autosync with itunes on connecting, despite the option 'Prevent iPhones etc from autosyncing' in Preferences being checked (and saved!). Highly annoying. Why does it ignore this setting and how can I REALLY turn it off?

When that happens you have to have iTunes restore the device.

  • Recovered ipod nano won't turn on/off

Our previous laptop died but we were able to transfer over itunes to the new laptop. itunes is working on the new laptop. I went to add holiday music to the ipod (first time plugging it into the new laptop) and when I plugged it in I got a message that itunes had to prepare my ipod for recovery. I went through the steps of recovery and restoring the ipod. At first I was left with an ipod that said "no music" despite the space still being taken up on the ipod. Now, after going through the recovery/restore steps, it is stuck on "do not disconnect" (and will stay that way for hours). It won't turn on (or off) and anytime I plug it in, it suggests the whole recovery thing.

    Try these.
    My iPod won't turn on.
    My iPod has no power.
    My iPod won't wake up.
    iPod battery doesn't charge.
Sometimes if the battery gets completely discharged, simply connecting to a USB port on the computer doesn't supply enough power to "kick start" the charging process. In theory it should do, but yours seems to be a common problem.

  • IPod touch 4th Gen. 16GB Won't turn on.

I got my iPod touch for Christmas and it won't turn on. I woke up to my alarm and then it just shut off. It wasn't really working great when I bought it New from the store, but I thought maybe thats just the way it was. Need this fixed or Replaced? Please Help!

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Dropped iPhone and now it won't turn on??? :(

Dropped my iPhone 3GS and now it won't turn on. I didn't even drop it that far or anything but now for some reason it won't turn on. I've already tried resetting it several times and it hasn't worked. I plugged it in to charge it and nothing happened and when i plug it in the computer with the dock, nothing happens and it won't even show up under devices in iTunes.
    Please help.

I believe the correct technical term is... "you broke it".
Take it in for service. An out of warranty replacement from Apple is US$149.

I would say to start by looking on their web site... unfortunately, that appears to be dead.
Based on the horrible ratings on the App Store (1 star for the current version), I'm not surprised it doesn't work well.

  • TS3988 I changed my Apple ID to my new email address successfully for the iTunes and App store but it won't work for iCloud and it won't recognize my password. I read that this can't be done. How am I supposed to get into iCloud?

I changed my Apple ID to my new email address successfully for the iTunes and App store but it won't work for iCloud and it won't recognize my password. I read that this can't be done. How am I supposed to get into iCloud? I plan on getting rid of my old email address which is my old Apple ID so how is that going to work?

Same question Wish someone had replied!
I changed my Apple ID to my new email and now cannot find any way to access icloud. Unfortunately I had allowed icloud to hijack my airbook files, so of course I am afraid I will lose them tomorrow when I exchange my iphone for a new one and cannot keep an icloud account i cannot access. What a poor sync system! Really atypical for apple!

"If you've forgotten the Apple ID password how did you log in to make the last post?"
Exactly! The password I used to log on here and write my post I figured was the same Apple ID password I would use to reset my computer login password. But my computer isn't recognizing it as the correct password so it wont let me update my login password. I have 2 user accounts on my computer.
As far as the link you provided, I already looked to that for help earlier. It states:
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Users & Groups, click the lock to unlock it, then provide an administrator name and password. Select a user, then click Reset Password.
I did these steps, but I don't remember my admin password. The question is: How do I reset my admin password so I can reset my log in password.
Is my admin password the same password I use to log onto this website to post questions? If so, like I said previously, I already reset that password and my computer isnt recognizing it.
