Auto Sync Files not working with Local Host

Hi,
I am developing a site locally and testing on a local host. I have my working files in Adobe cloud and then 'upload' to my local host to test.
This works fine when I click upload, or control+shift+u, but its extremely annoying.
I have checked the box that says 'automatically upload files to server on save' but it doesn't do it.
The only thing I can think of it that it has to be an actual live server? Nothing else can explain it. My setting are fine and like I said, doing it manually works no problem.

I'm having a problem with the Auto-sync feature not working with my 700p (verizon) with my aol mail. It had worked perfect since May 2007. Just started having problems End of April 2008. Sounded like I needed another incoming mail server from aol other than: imap.aol.com, aol told me they also use pop.aol.com, that isn't working either. I get an error message that says "last auto-sync attempt failed."....Anyone else having this issue? I'm trying to decide whether to get rid of my aol mail of 14 yrs and use other address to continue using versamail 3.5 or keep aol and use Verizon Wireless sync. I do not like how wireless sync sends mail to outbox and then syncs vs sending right away. Please help...

I am having the EXACT same problem: Palm 700p, Versamail, AOL, Verizon.
It started about 1 month ago. The GET still works, but AUTO-SYNC does not...After spending hours on the phone with Palm tech support, and reaching someone who said AOL had changed something in their servers. They suggested TRYING Chatteremail, another Palm product. I have tried it for 20+ days out of the 30 days you get for free. It works pretty well, but NOT every e-mail that goes to my AOL acct is making it to my phone. The thing that's great about Chatter is that can be "live" all of time. Not auto-syncing every 15 minutes.
It's very frustrating....The same way the Versamail just stopping auto-syncing is very frustrating. With Versamail, sometimes I did not even get the error message. If Chatteremail worked consistently, I would bite the bullet, and pay for it, but to pay for it, and have it not pull down all the e-mails, all the time is not good.
I spoke to Palm Tech Support in N. America today, and they say the way AOL uses IMAP servers is in a non-traditional way, and it's very hard to deal with. They suggest ditching AOL, and using something reliable for syncing purposes like GMAIL. It's just hard to cut the cord. The man I was on the phone with knew of my problem, and he solved it by getting rid of AOL. It's just tough, since so many people have the e-mail address for me.

there seems to be some indication when you click on Smart Phones on left, that Coming Soon is Palm, but I don't know if that's going to be downloadable for 700p, or Palms moving forward. Or how far away that is.
I tried wireless sync and hated it.
This is really a pain in the butt.

I also did a search and found another program called "Snappermail", which I might try, and see if it's any better than Chatteremail.

My iMatch is turned on and I can direct downlad my music to the iPhone from the Cloud; however, I want to direct import All of my music from iTunes to my iPhone 5 via the connecting USB cable and it is not working. Yes, I have tried restarting both devices, and no autosync is not working nor is is it providing the avaialbile option to select music in iTunes on my Mac to then sync. Please help. Thanks

Please disregard. I figured it out. Answer for anyone else running into this problem: You have to turn off iTunes Match on both devices. Apparently, if you activate iTunes Match it deactivates your abiltiy to direct sync.

It is not possible to merge Apple IDs.

I had the same problem. I make my AF work going to Menu / AF mode and selected Live mode. On Quick mode the AF did not work. I change the settings without realise it. Now my AF is working fine.

Auto hide taskbar not working with iTunes 10.5 & Windows 7

Anyone else having problems with Auto-hide Taskbar not working when iTunes is open and the active window? Was working fine with previous versions including the beta of 10.5 I had. Is this a general problem or just me? Im using Windows 7 64bit for what its worth.

Chiming in with the same problem. 64-bit Win 7 Professional, taskbar set to auto-hide, newest version of iTunes (actually uninstalled and reinstalled via the website download earlier today to see if that would fix it; nope). I normally use the Alt+Tab keys to navigate between windows anyway, so it's not inconveniencing me too much, but it's still irritating when I'm trying to use the mouse to switch windows (or check the time) and realize I can't. Definitely fix this one soon. We'll all be very grateful

Please use a component cable. With either RCA or optical for audio. That is the quickest fix. For current HDMI issues.
1.7 upgrade has been known to fix most of the HDMI issues. Verizon is working diligently to roll out img 1.7.

Sync does not work with psd layer files

My sync with cloud does not work. I also can not downoad or upload PSD files with Layers

Hello Oliver,
I know this is 2 years old, I have a Mac Pro from 2007. I just updated to Lion so I can use Adobe CC software. iCal has been trying to update, or upgrade as it says, and it's showing like it's doing something but it doesn't respond. Have to force quit. It's been 4 days now. I use ical extensively in my business. Any ideas on how to fix that?

Flash Preloader Not Working with Local Files?

Hello all,
I have created a digital resumé using a Flash
presentation. The presentation links to several SWF files that are
rather large. I have designed and implemented preloaders for the
files.
My intent is to burn the whole product to CD for
distribution. The problem I am having is that my Flash preloaders
work perfectly in FireFox; I click the button in the main
presentation and the preloader comes up in the target screen,
followed by the SWF.
However, the preloaders do not work at all in IE, which
leaves a black pane with nothing in it and causes the user to click
the button several times trying to figure out why nothing is
happening.
The Flash presentation that is being displayed is embedded in
a HTML document. The user clicks a button to load a SWF to a
separate screen; the preloader runs until the file is loaded.
Any help you could provide is appreciated.

I have attached the actionscript for the data connection. The
odd thing about this issue is some of the data is being displayed
from the webservice call and then some is not. The drop down list
is not being populated but I am getting some text in a textarea
that is on the form. My datasource is a SQL Server database and in
ColdFusion administrator, I used the actual machine name to point
to the datasource because it is directly linked to my web server.
This configuration is the one giving me problems. If I change the
datasource to my test SQL Server (server.somewhere.com) it works
fine. Does this help any?

How to setup new site in dreamweaver if not working with Local Site Folder?

I am working with a website design (wordpress) project with a group of people, since we are working together on the same design, our developing site is not located in the local folder but on remote server, but I can't setup the website in DW if the developing site is not located locally.
Is there any way to do the development on remote server with DW, and what will be the site setup setting for it?

Sharing a "Local" site is a recipe for disaster vis-a-vis file versioning. The best way to avoid these problems is to have three locations defined:
1. A local site (truly local to your computer, although it can be on a network, shared drive).
2. A staging site (this would be the intermediate holding site for partially finished work.
3. A production site (this would be where the final versions of files are pushed).
Enable DW's Checkin/Checkout facility. Each of you would checkout files from the staging server, and when finished editing, checkin those same files to the staging server. Thus, you are not sharing a local site - you are sharing a remote file repository, which is your gold standard source for version protected files.
Make sense?

Wi-Fi auto sync feature not working anymore since iOS 7...

I have noticed that the Auto Sync with iTunes feature does not work since I installed iOS 7 on my iPhone 4S. Wi-Fi is ON, the iPhone is on the docking for charging and nothing happens. Did I missed something ??? Am I the only one with this problem ?

Sync is not working with DM 4.5

Hi,
I'm having an issue syncing my data with outlook. When I try to configure synch, I get a popup that tells me: The computer must be connected to the Internet in order to initially configure synchronization settings. Please ensure you are able to connect to the internet and try again". This happens WHILE I'm connected to the internet. My firewall is disabled, so that's not the issue.
Sync worked with DM 4.2, but not with 4.5. I'm running os 4.5 on my Verizon 8830 WE. I'm wondering if I HAVE to run DM 4.5 with os 4.5? If I can't solve this, then I'll just downgrade my DM software, but I'd rather not do that.
Please help!

DM off with the clean procedure,
Download 4.2.2 and install, and you are good to go!

Reading the EDI X12 file not working with the patch 8233048

I have installed the latest path 8233048 on my windowsXP system, now I am not able to see the File being polled and processed.
In b2b.log I can see the last message as "oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.data.MsgListener:run start listening on message" after that no log.
In b2b_dc_transport.log, I can see only

This is working on b2b with only patch: 5907304 which is installed in another windows XP system.
The same configuration with the latest patch is not working.

Hi Dheeraj,
I have restarted my system many times, not only B2B.
I have taken the print out of both the tip.properties and compared line by line and wanted to check out which line was making it not to function.
I added the mismatching lines one by one by one, it was working for all teh updates. Finally I changed it to my new tip.properties.
Then surprisingly it is working.

FCP Quicktime movie files not working with iDVD

I have been using iDVD for years with no issues. Now, whenever I export a QT file from FCP 7 and use it in iDVD, I get a blank screen with audio and no video.
I am able to work around the problem by using "Export Using Qucktime Conversion" and creating a smaller file, but I've never had to do that before. What in the world am I missing here? Shouldn't I be able to export as a QT movie, as long as the file is not gigantic? (the most recent one I used and had this problem occur was only about 500mb). Thanks for any help...

Hmmm,
Well this is helpful information but unfortunately didn't solve my problem. The movie in question is only 5 1/2 minutes long. When I export it as a QT movie, iDVD "acts" like everything is fine; I can preview it within iDVD, etc.But when I burn the disc, it comes out blank. I then went back to FCP and exported it using QT conversion, and the DVD burned just fine. (I exclusively use Taiyo Yuden media and have never had a bad disc).
This is just a simple 16:9 movie, shot at 720/30p on a Canon DSLR. I ingested with Log and Transfer using ProRes422, then dropped it onto the timeline, added a music track, rendered, and exported as Quicktime movie. It looks great on my desktop using the QT player, but it simply will not work in iDVD. Still stuck here...

.psd file not working with Motion 5

I have a .psd that doesn't want to work with Motion 5. Every time I try and import it, Motion says that it's not a valid codec. I can't figurt out what's going on, all my other .psd files seem to work.
Yes, I'm using RGB colors not CMYK (that is the onne known issue thus far).
I'm just totally at a lose. Here's what the console says, if anyone has any insight, I woudl appreciate it:
