Auto Updata a list

I have a Sharepoint list with a calculate column [Time] with a formula =IF([Time Out]="",NOW(),""), this puts the current time untill [Time Out] is populated. Is there a way column [Time] to autoupdate without pressing F5 update or
changing another column.

Calculated columns are only evaluated and updated when a record is saved.  So without editing the record there is now way that the calculated column will update.

Some sites that have an auto update feature, hang up and never complete. Here is one: http://www.callawayuxplore.com/coursesearch#mode=list&p=0&course_views=&num_holes=&sort_type=distance&location=&country=&q=29803&filter_only=false
Another is the Dish site : http://www.dishanywhere.com/
I have tried deleting cookies, updating Adobe flash with no luck. My other browsers handle these sites fine. I have a MAC Pro with 10.8.5.

    Hello,
'''Try Firefox Safe Mode''' to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)''
    * You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
    * Or open the Help menu and click on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item while Firefox is running.
''Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"''
'''''If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode''''', your problem is probably caused by an extension, or hardware acceleration, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article for that.

  • No Auto-Update for To Do list, session message and toast message

After LC ES Server hardening, we noticed that auto-update is not working for To Do list, session message and new task notification toast message. Before server hardening, all of them are still working fine.
Does anyone know why auto-update is not working after server hardening? Is there any specific port numbers which need to be enabled/opened to solve this issue?

JGroups is an open source project that allows processes to send messages to one another. LiveCycle data services uses it for its messaging implementation (basically it configures the server to multicast messages to all the listening clients...even in a clustered environment across different LAN/WAN).
In most cases the default configuration will work fine, the problem is that if you are running a firewall on the server (or your local machine...i.e. windows firewall) the ports that JGroups uses for its communications can be blocked. In a local environment its easy enough to disable windows firewall and bounce your server to get things working.
In a production environment you need to open the ports that JGroups is using. These settings are in the Global Administration settings (as mentioned by WorkspaceUser above). If you export it and look at the JChannelConnectionProperties you'll see the ports its using and you can set your firewall to allow communication to those ports.

  • Crashing on start up, auto-updating even when disabled & not allowing a safe toolbar add-on to download

I have followed all of the steps in all of the relevant help articles (http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-troubleshoot-prevent-and-get-help#w_get-help-fixing-this-crash), and nothing has fixed this problem.
I was running v17, and yesterday it auto-updated to v18 when I opened firefox. As soon as it updated it crashed, pressing 'restart firefox' did nothing, I could only quit. So I found an old install file, went back to v17, checked the option to ask permission before updating, run malwarebytes and spybot, so my PC is clean. This morning, same thing happened - auto update with no warning or permission given. Crashed. Repeatedly, restarted, closed everything else that was running, uninstalled and reinstalled the older stable version. Both times I spent a long time reinstalling add ons and themes. On top of that my goodapp toolbar from goodsearch will no longer be installed by firefox because 'it can't modify the necessary files'. All other add ons work fine, and I was using this toolbar with no issues in v17 only yesterday.
The second reinstall I clicked the option 'never check for updates'. But tonight, when I opened firefox, it updated without warning to v18 again and I was ready to switch to chrome after a decade of using this browser. There was no Firefox (safe mode) to run from my program files, and since I couldn't open the browser at all before it crashed, all I could do was uninstall and reinstall v17 for the third time in 24 hours and as you can imagine I am not very happy that your so-called stable release is anything but that. I think with the number of people having problems that you should stop work on v20 and actually accept there is a problem with this release instead of trying to blame it on malware.
    Latest crash report ID: bp-3ea35888-008f-4e21-b31f-023002130112

This crash is usually caused by to malware and the involved randomly named file in your case is astktkra.dll as you can see in the modules list of the crash report.
Try to use MSConfig and disable that file to prevent it from getting started.

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that allows to locate and remove the file either manually or with a malware scanner.
You will have to search the Windows registry (Ctrl+F) for references to that file and export and remove involved keys to avoid startup issues with missing files or alternatively use a registry cleaner like CCleaner.
If you are not comfortable with editing the registry then it is best to skip this step.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

  • How do I disable linked smart-object auto-update/refresh?

Working in the CC3D features, I am constantly making changes to my bump map. Every time I step-backwards, or make a significant change to the bump texture (smart object?), CC auto-saves the layer. This specific file is a very very large document (3 gigs in the bump texture layer alone), and the 3D layer has lots of lights and is very complex. This auto-refresh/update really bogs down the time that it would take me to make my changes. I have a very fast machine (I know it's fast, I dont need to list my specs), and I have all shadows disabled.
    How do I disable linked smart-object auto-update/refresh?

If you do not like a feature like smart objects there is nothing forcing you to use it. Use some other features to do what you want. Please don't ask Adobe to introduce bug into smart object support.
You could work on your bump maps textures in external files. When your done some time in the future you could edit your project with the smart object layer and use replace smart object. Only then will all smart filters be applied to the smart layer with the replaced smart object.
Or if by CC Auto save Layer you referring to CC Generate feature you can disable that feature.
I have no idea what your referring to when you write "CC auto-saves the layer" being a feature. I know CC Generate will write layers out as web files but that more a Web feature then a 3d feature.  Where do you see your layer being saved?

  • Auto-update of date and time on Lumia 800

I've recently had my Lumia 800 in for "repair" as the auto-update switch did not appear on the menu.
The phone has come back (from carphone warehouse) with OS version 7.10.8858.136 and Firmware 1750.0823.8858.12460, both of which seem more up-to-date than the versions currently listed as the most recent.
    [How can that happen?]
The auto-update switch is still not available to me, and I am told that the "newer software does not support this function"
REALLY? Or are they just fobbing me off?

What network are you on ?

  • Air Auto Update Error -- Flash Builder Burrito.

This is my first attempt at this, so I may be missing something simple.
I'm not having any luck getting an Air app to automatically update.
If I manually go to  http://localhost/air1/air1.air and redownload the file I will get a popup that asks if I want to update the app, but when I say ok I get this error.
"There was an error checking for updates. Error# 16816"
    I haven't found a reason yet,
    Any ideas?

  • Firefox won't update - tho I have OSX 10.5.8 it keeps saying I have too old an OS. The auto-update for Firefox is greyed out. How can I update?

I have a Mac Powerbook G4, running OS X 10.5.8. I'm getting messages from Google that Firefox is an old version and needs updating - so I went to the Firefox website and the message said that "Unfortunately the latest version of Firefox isn't compatible with your computer's operating system. Learn more." When I click Learn More, it says that Firefox only works with OS X 10.5 and 10.6...The auto-update box for Firefox is greyed out and un-clickable in Firefox preferences, there's no manual download that I can find - how can I make Firefox recognize my OS and allow me to upgrade? Many thanks.

PPC Macs aren't compatible with Firefox 4.0 and later versions.
    For older Macs that aren't supported in Firefox 4 / 5 / 6, try TenFourFox for PowerPC's running Mac 10.4.11 & 10.5.8 . <br />

    Hi pholewinski!
I have a couple of articles for you here that I believe will help you with this issue. The first is an article on advanced troubleshooting, and it can be found here:
    iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3297
If following that article's steps doesn't take care of the issue, you can try the things listed in this article, which is about permissions issues in iTunes:

In ipv6 , windows xp can get one global ipv6-address. how to delete the address and del the route in route table persistent? And stop route table auto update?

The WsusContent folder is filled with 256 folders that are two-characters long (e.g. 00, 0A, 0B, etc), and each of those folders are filled with exe and cab files all with what appears to be a GUID as a filename.
Currently the C:\Program Files\Update Services\WsusContent folder is 27.5GB in size with 256 folders and 15,361 files.
Classifications are confirmed matching exactly when viewed from either the WSUS console or the Software Update Point Component Properties on the CAS server:
    Critical Updates
    Definition Updates
    Security Updates
    Service Packs
    Update Rollups
    Updates
Product selection is confirmed matching exactly when viewed from either the WSUS console or the Software Update Point Component Properties on the CAS server:
    Developer Tools (VS 2005 - 2013, etc)
    Exchange 2007, 2010, 2013
Forefront Endpoint Protection 2010, TMG Definition Updates for HTTP Malware and NIS, TMG, TMG Firewall Client
    BitLocker Admin
    Lync 2010, Lync Server 2010 and 2013
System Center DPM 2006 and 2010
Office Dictionary updates, new dictionaires, XP, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013
    Silverlight
    SQL Server 2012, 2000, 2005, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, feature pack
    System Center 2012 (all), 2012 R2 (all), 2012 SP1 (all)
Windows (all except EU browser choice and graphics drivers for 8.1 upgrade)
Admittedly we could update that list a bit, but it sounds like you don't think there should be any content downloading to the WsusContent folder at all?

  • Why doesnt foxyspider work with 26.0 after auto update

I was using foxyspider successfully for several months until firefox auto updated to version 26. After the update it will no longer download. All other functions work but files will not be saved. A new page will open and thumbnails are visible, but when the option to save files manually or select all files is chosen and a location is selected to download, nothing happens. Again, it worked properly with the previous version of firefox.. I have contacted the developer of foxyspider twice but have received no reply. If it does not work anymore, I will have to give it a poor rating. Before firefox 26.0 foxy spider was 10 of 10 but no it is a big zero.

    Hello rickster_too,
Thank you for contacting Mozilla Support. I'm sorry that the Foxyspider developer has not gotten back to you.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the extension?
It looks like the developer isn't very active on his social media channels, but you might try reaching out there.
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/foxyspider/
And there are a number of other addons that you can try that will work with FF26. Here's a list of similar addons that Mashable put together.

Please let us know if this helps.
    Cheers,
    Patrick

  • Layers of Smart Playlists don't auto update

I set up a smart playlist that only included songs not played in the past week (called 'unrecent'). This list dropped from about 200 songs to 150 songs last night after playing a lot of tunes.
I have another smart playlist that combines the above 'unrecent' list with my favourites (with about 20 songs). After docking the iPod however the combined list (called 'prime') still showed 220 songs in the list.
Only after editing the 'prime' smart playlist (without actually changing anything) did the playlist drop back down to about 170 songs.
Why wont this work automatically (with having to force it through by editing)? Please note, the basic smart playlist (unrecent) DID automatically update, just the other list that used it DIDN'T.
shuffle and 30gig   Windows XP   & eMac

Are they both set to auto update?
I have not nested smart lists inside smart lists. It may be a quirk in the program.

  • Auto-update incorrectly identifies card as xtremega

i have an extreme-music card and when i went to the auto-update it said i have an extremegamer. im not sure if i got the right drivers now. is there anything to check?

    ''Rakeh [[#answer-666122|said]]''
    <blockquote>
I did that too, as a first thing. The firefox now even says "Shockwave flash 11,2,202,425" in the plugins list.
UNFORTUNATELY, it still displays the vulnerable plugin message (both at various websites and at the plugin list) even though I apparently have the latest version.
    </blockquote>
    Try this:
    Stop firefox
    Edit ~/.mozilla/firefox/*.default/pluginreg.dat
    Replace "11,2,202,425" with "11.2.202.425"
This seemed to fix it for me.

  • Making a jtable auto updates itself from a mysql table

Pretty much what the title says. How can i auto update the jtable for every time my mysql table is updated in anyway? i am implementing this auto update function in my admin program which displays a list of users who are online etc. from the moment a user is offline/online or changes other details displayed in my jtable, i want it to auto update the jtable as soon as the actual mysql table has been updated with new data...
I was thinking of re doing the whole jtable i made and create a thread for that table that has a infinite while loop that keeps repainting the jtable with the new updated data from a mysql table query eg select * from table and store the data into a resultset which then gets transferred into a vector. Load the vector into the jtbale and their ya go.
what you think of this approach? Is their a better way to do this?
at the moment, as soon as my application opens, the jtable views all the data from my sql table, however if it doesnt auto updates itself, cheers

i am implementing this auto update
function in my admin program which displays a list of
users who are online etc. from the moment a user is
offline/online or changes other details displayed in
my jtable, i want it to auto update the jtable as
soon as the actual mysql table has been updated with
new data...Well you can make some changes to make implementation easy
Ex: Create a table to keep a log of the changes in the system the dmin program read the log and replicate the changes as specified in the log on the table model.
When reading the log the admin program keep track of the sequence no of the last read log entry and it reads ony the entries which has larger seq numbers than the last read seq no
I dont think that it is critical to make this to be cloase to real time. An Update once a 1 or 2 secs should be sufficient.

  • Recommeneded Auto Update Feature in 11.1 Grid Control

    Hi All,
I would like inform you about New Auto Update feature in the 11.1 Grid Control Installer. This feature allows the latest recommended patches to be automatically deployed while installing a fresh 11.1 Grid control or while upgrading an existing Grid control to 11.1 version.
These auto updates ensure that any patches required by the oracle installer or for successful installation/upgrade of the product are applied before the actual installation or upgrade process. It ensures that there are no failed installations or upgrades from known issues.
Oracle highly recommends using this feature to ensure that any new or upgraded Enterprise Manager installation is successful
To know more about usage and benefits of this feature Refer to :
    1. Note.1101208.1 Required Patches for Grid Control 11g (11.1.0.1.0) on Linux
    2. Note.1099123.1 Overview of the "Auto Update" Feature Available with Grid Control 11g Install/Upgrade
    3. Refer to this PDF
    4. Use Install forum to place your queries
Note:- If you have downloaded and installed your Grid control before15th May 2010 then we recommend you to apply this Generic Agent patch 9676134 on all your target boxes. Refer to the Read-me of the patch for exact instructions. If you don't have this patch applied then you will see this patch appear in MOS recommended section for that target as well.
This patch fixes the performance issue that is caused by Grid control 11.1 running a metric query against the v$rman_backup_job_details view on target database instances for Oracle Database 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.1) or higher. In some situations, this query might expose RDBMS bug 8434467, in which the query can run for an extended period of time, resulting in high CPU utilization. If you notice this problem, it is recommended that you apply the patches listed below, which will reduce the the frequency of the query.

    Thank you
