Auto Zoom

Is there any way to set up an auto zoom. I have a flat panel set up to my Mac Mini. The only problem is that I cannot get around HDCP,;only by using 1080i. Well, that is great and all, but it makes everything small. I can't see anything...especially in Safari. So is there a way to auto zoom; That way I don't have to click command + every time.

In short, you need to create a style sheet containing three lines and save it somewhere sensible like a Templates folder as an .css file which you hook up to Safari through Preferences. I have set the zoom at 115% and it works except for one thing:
+By zooming away from the default 100%, Safari will lose *Radio Buttons* as already reported elsewhere in this forum.+
So the lesson I have learnt is when in doubt, zoom back down to 100% (Command Minus on the keyboard or the "Little A/Big A" zoom "in/out" button on the title bar if you have added it.)

Web page auto-zooms on orientation change in iOS 7

I had a web page that worked perfectly well until Apple came out with iOS 7 today and it broke the layout when screen orientation is changed.
Basically, when I have focus on a text area and rotate the screen to landscape view, the entire page zooms in. If focus is taken out of the text area and turned back to Portrait, things are back normal.
Rotation also works well when the text areas does not have focus.
I already have the following meta-tag in place (to ensure we block zooming):
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, minimum-scale=1.0;;">
Any ideas what's causing this awkward behavior?

Browsers auto zoom in/out

Recently my browsers (safari,chrome) behave oddly, it auto zoom in/out, sometimes really fast like it shaking or something, so far it only happens when i'm using Wacom tablet, I don't know exactly when this started, I guess when I upgraded to 10.6.6, i've asked Wacom Support they suggested to re-install driver, but still problem persist. Maybe anyone here knows what's going on?

Must be a setting on the tablet. You need to speak to Wacom.

If you are talking about your background wallpaper then its because the picture resolution is bigger than the screen resolution of your iPhone. When setting your background wallpaper, you can choose a picture from your camera/presets and then you can drag it around on the screen until you have the desired cropped photo for your background. If this is unacceptable then you would need to shrink the photo's resolution somehow, which is easy I think but I am not qualified to give you an explanation having never attempted.

IPhoto auto zoom

The previous version of iPhoto that I had on my older MacBook would auto zoom the photo to fit the screen. The newest version of iPhoto doesn't seem to have that functionality. Is there any way to set iPhoto to auto zoom photos to fit the screen?

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Front Camara Auto Zoom Error

So the title says it all, skype will auto zoom-in on my face. And the video (on the other side of the coversation) appears with a resolution like 200 x 600 px which looks like a vertical strip on the middle of the screen, this issue only happens when using the front camera on the tablet, there isn't a setting panel for the camara within android like an override aspect resolution setting, nor a skype setting for the video output like on the pc version...
any suggestiong anyone? (As a side-question, there's a way to "downgrade" the version of the skype app? cause this issue didn't happen in older version)(Sorry for my bad english )

Auto-zoom to selected object?

I have a mystery ghost path that I can't find. It shows up in the layer palette. But I can't see it on my artboard. I have Show Bounding Box and Show Edges turned on. I alt/option click the layer to select everything. But there's nothing selected on my artboard. (And my artboard is sized to fit artwork bounds).
Are there any scripts to auto-zoom/scroll the canvas to a selected object? Most 3D apps have a "Frame Object" command that moves and zooms the camera to make the selected object centered on the screen. Is there something like that for Illustrator?

I don't think so. Just lock down anything you want to keep, Select All, and hit delete. The phantom guide should go away.

Which digital camera will accept a FD 35-70mm and a 80-200mm auto zoom lens?

Purchased T50 Canon camera 20+ years ago. Barely used, but needs repair. Also purchased FD 35-70mm Canon zoom lens and 80-200mm auto zoom lens. Which Canon digital camera will accept these lens?

FD series lenses are pre-EOS. They don't auto-focus.
Canon started this line with the F-1 in 1971 and continued with them until around 1990 and they were phased out in favor of the EOS system.

No auto zoom for 3D geometric adjustments?

Hello,
I can't find an option to auto zoom stereo clips when I apply some geometric adjustments.
If I correct for example vertical alignment I'll have some black in upper and lower part of the screen, and that is normal; that's why in every tool I used to work with for 3d adjustments there is the auto zoom (auto crop) option.
Any way to do this in SG other than manually apply and adjust crop on every clip ?

Hi Stefano,
I would create a stereo safe area in the pan& scan settings. If your footage isn't massively distorted by things like roll and tilt in the mirror rig itself, you should be able to identify a rather small number for cropping and/or scaling.
If you are already shooting with a stereo safe zone (say, 2K footage, but your output is HD), I would always avoid the scaling. Even though the scaling algorithm in SpeedGrade is really good, there's nothing better than what you've actually shot.
Auotmatic cropping and scaling is certainly nice to have, but it's kind of counter productive if you want to keep control over image quality in an S3D workflow.

the files you linked to were both saved in rich text format , not the plain text that is needed for Safari to use a css file.
It does work but the file must be a plain text one. If you open either of yours in Safari, you'll see something like this:

Auto zoom in facebook since firefox upgrade

Can you ad vise why firefox would auto zoom ( reduction) in Facebook? Have had network engineer look at configuration and all APPEARS to be correct. however unable to view any type of crash report

Erratic auto zoom peculiarity

Why on occasion does opening a photo cause it to auto zoom? Once opened via Photos or even through an Event, the photo can auto zoom to about 1/3 bigger though the zoom slider bottom left remains unmoved. Using iPhoto 11 on iMac mid 2011

Wallpapers!!! Auto Zoom

Hello, I noticed that with the new update to ios 7 that when you go to choose your wallpaper it wants to auto zoom on it. Before you actually comfirm that as your chosen wallpaper you can move and scale but it doesn't let you save it that way. I'm just curious is there anyway this can be fixed or do I just have to deal with this inconvenience?? Maybe it will be a possible bug fix.

Yes! But, I'm picking something as my wallpaper because I like the whole pic I don't want it zoomed in for me. I don't like how it says you can move and scale but it doesn't work. I shouldn't have to deal with not seeing get he whole picture so I tried but it didn't help.
