Autocomplete no longer working, what happened to nsLoginManager.js?

I used to have a modification to nsLoginManager.js in the function _isAutocompleteDisabled() which forced a "return false". This was wonderful at remembering passwords for *all* sites, even those that set autocomplete=off.
Now, I'm running Firefox 3.6.13 (Firefox for Ubuntu) and I can't seem to find this fine any longer.
Where is the function _isAutoCompleteDisabled() now?
Or, is there another way (Not a bookmarklet) to force autocomplete to ON irrespective of the sites preferences?

Just to to inform you all.
The nsLoginManager.js file is stored in the file omni.jar
This file is just a zip file that you can open and edit.
On Linux a program like MidNite commander (mc) makes it possible to edit this file on the fly.
Once you open it you'll see a directory called "components" it's in there. Just edit it and you'll be able to use firefox like before.

My MacBook Pro internal speakers are not working, what happened? If I plug in earbuds or external speakers, there is sound. In sound preferences, internal speakers are not a choice. Why doesn't my internal speakers work?

Hopefully one of these steps should solve the problem.
1. Remove the headphone.
    If you see red light in the headphone port, plug the headphone
    in and out of the port 5 or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside.
    Sound output may be stuck in the digital mode.

    Choose the method for:
    "Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
4. Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup

    Under Mute any of the boxes checked? If so, uncheck it.

I bought and downloaded a song and now it wont work, what happened?

I bought and downloaded a couple a songs on Itune. Now when I try and play the song it wont work. Itunes and the computer both say they cannot locate the song. what do i do? what happened?

If iTunes cannot find the file, that usually means that the file, or its containing folder, has been moved, renamed, or deleted. If you can figure out what happened, put it back the way it was. If necessary, use Windows to search for the file.
If the song file no longer exists on your system, download a fresh copy from the iCloud.

Autocomplete no longer working on my iOS devices even though it works on my MacBook Air

I migrated all of my settings and info to a new macbook air from an older macbook air a few days ago. Now the mail "to" field only autocompletes addresses on the Air, but it no longer works on my iPad or iPhone. When I open the address book on the iOS devices, the email addresses are still intact. All of the software is up to date. Have spent hours today trying to figure out how ot fix this.
Can anyone please help me with this? I work at a tech company, but even the former apple engineers I asked are not sure how to fix this one. Could this be an iCloud issue? iOS software bug?

It could well be an iCloud issue.
Are your contacts stored in iCloud? This article makes it sound like that's required for autocompleting addresses in mail on your iPhone.

When I open my premiere elements 9, I can't see the workspace, I have to restart the program many times until it works, what happens??

Somebody can help me, the program was fantàstic, but a few months ago, when I open my premiere I can't see the workspace, the program doesn't show me an error message, but I have to restart Windows several times until I can work normally, what happens, adobe premiere have some problems with other programs installed? I don't understand, I have a serial number, I buy a dell with the program installed, with Windows 7.
Can somebody help me, it's very important for me this program and I use it a lot

Serial number no longer valid. If there was a billing issue I missed seeing email. Missing an important deadline and software isn't working.

What software, and what version?
Cloud programs do not use a serial number... you sign in to your paid Cloud account to download and activate programs

I had a Sudoku Widget on Dashboard;it is no longer there;what happened

I have had the Sudoku widget I downloaded from the App store on Dashboard for many months. Now it has disappeared. I went to the App store to see what happened, and reading the comments, it appears that there is a new Sudoku app which doesn't work. What happened to the old one?

If you don't have access to your rescue email account then you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset (you won't be able to change it until you can answer 2 of your questions)

If iPhone and MacBookPro contacts are synced on icloud and the iPhone quits or resets itself what happens to the contacts on the other device?

I thought mabee they would sync and use the ipone as the newest change.

Autocomplete no longer working

I recently upgraded from a simple phone to an iPhone. I installed Dashlane on it and wanted to link my remembered passwords, etc. from my Mac so I installed Dashlane to the Mac.
After doing this, Dashlane took over autocomplete, but did not work. I hence uninstalled it from the Mac.
Ever since then autocomplete does not work on Firefox. All of my settings say autocomplete is enabled and it has all of my usernames and passwords, but it does not autocomplete.
Please help.

IPhone 3GS GPS no longer working-What should I do?

I have a very annoying problem with my iPhone 3GS.
I have invested a considerable amount of money on Navigation applications and applications that use GPS.
GPS reception started to get unreliable and it was deteriorating over time.
At the beginning my navigation application (Navigon) was losing the GPS signal at random times.
Usually, after every iOS update the GPS reception was fine for a week or so, then problems started again.
Now, GPS is almost not working at all.
All the gps applications on my iPhone can detect where I am, however the precision is in unusable levels. It may show a position 300-400 meters away from where I really am. This happens in Navigon, Maps, etc.
Navigon always shows the red bar on the top telling me that the GPS reception is not adequate.
What should I do? Is there any case that this is a software related issue? Is there any way I can fix this? Some users suggested that I set up as New, but this will be my last resort as I have a lot of data that I want to retain on my iPhone.
Or is this really a hardware issue?
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

If you've restored the phone and then reinstalled the SW, it may be a HW problem. There's a way to test to see if the GPS is working in 'standalone mode". It's valid for the 3G, I think it works for the 3GS as well.
On the 3G, the GPS receiver is tied to the cellular transceivers. If it's in Airplane mode the GPS doesn't work. Taking the phone out of Airplane mode, but removing the SIM card (and therefore no cellular connection) it works just fine (OK, it's a bit slower, but it still works).
As a final test, take the phone out of Airplane mode, remove the SIM card and run any GPS aware programme (Maps is good, it's an Apple App, so that removes the 'I wonder if the app is at fault' question). Place the phone in a location where it has a good view of an unobstructed sky, and wait. After 10 or 15 minutes press the "find me" button on the bottom left of the screen. If the "blinking" little blue dot doesn't appear, or if it says that your location can't be determined (there won't be a map), it sounds like the GPS is dead.
BTW, Apple doesn't reply to posts on the forum.

Autocompletion no longer works in address bar

The autcompletion works only with addresses I visited several weeks ago. For instance, when I type 'f', Facebook will be suggested.
But it does not work with any newer address, since about two weeks.
What can I do to recover this helpful function?

Make sure that the Location Bar is not set to "Nothing": Tools > Options > Privacy > Location Bar: When using the location bar, suggest: History, Bookmarks, History and Bookmarks

THE LINKS AT THE TOP OF ANY WEB PAGE NO LONGER WORK. wHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS

My Apple ID is no longer working, what is the cause and solution to getting it back?

A few days ago, my Apple ID stopped working. over the last week, i have been trying to recover thru the normal website process. There are two options on the website - have a temp password sent to your email OR answer a security question in my case BIRTHDATE. When requesting they send a temp password, the procuess would seem to complete, but I never got an email (not in 'junk' folder either). When entering the answer to the secret question, that did not work either.
We have been trying many different tactics and nothing has worked...until today.
We decided to try establishing a new Apple ID. AND we used the same ID. It accepted it! We are now facing issues with finishing the set up of the account thru iStore, we are hung up on the credit card entry (we are living overseas, but entering with valid US credit cards).
Not so concerned about the latter issue. I am worried that we were able to re-establish an Apple ID using the original. The system is treating it as if it never existed.
I've gone thru the community support site, and it seems like others have had similar issues, but in the threads I've read, there never seems to be a resolution to the issue.
Help!

With the amount of information you've provided it's impossible to offer a potential solution. We can't see your computer so we need to know some details of your problem and setup, i.e.:
what version of iPhoto are you using?
what system version are you running?
what fixes have you tried?
where is you library located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?
