Autodiscover URL error in SharePoint 2013

Hi guys,
     I want to integrate exchange and SharePoint to send mail from SharePoint. With the reference of this link i have done everything.
http://www.scinaptic.com/support/0109.html
But i didn't import SharePoint FQDN certificate. Because i don't know why it is needed. And i am stuck with this error.
When i tried enable a trust and service permission in SharePoint. I stuck with this error. I search for this error. I read deleting all self-signed certificate from exchange and SharePoint would work. But i have one clarification.
If we delete a self-signed certificate which is given to SharePoint site. Can we able open that HTTPS site ?
Why we need to delete exchange self-certificates ?
I need resolve this. Please help me.
Do i have another way to resolve this ?

You need to import the certificate so the trust can be established. The error is stating that the certificate is not trusted.

    Dear Support,
    please find below mention crawl log error in sharepoint 2013 for search services.
    8,597 The server is unavailable and could not be accessed. The server is probably disconnected from the network.
    423 This item could not be crawled because the repository did not respond within the specified timeout period. Try to crawl the repository at a later time, or increase the timeout value on the Proxy and Timeout page in search administration. You might also

    2 The crawler could not communicate with the server. Check that the server is available and that the firewall access is configured correctly. If the repository was temporarily unavailable, an incremental crawl will fix this error.
    would request your support for resolving this type of issue

    1. Are you able to browse the sites on SP server. server is unavailable means that application pool
    of that site is down. Check application pool on all server. if you start any application pool. make sure it does not stop few minutes later. you need to update password if it does stop
    2. Create a disable loopbackcheck of registry on all servers

    3. Create a new search service application and check if you face same issue.
    4. I assume you have change some password or other setting when you started facing this issue. what changes were made in environment

    Hi  Krishna,
    For your issue, you need to deploy a farm solution using HideCustomAction to hide site settings link. For example to hide “Title, description, and logo” link you can use below code:
    <Elements xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/">
    <HideCustomAction
    GroupId="Customization"
    HideActionId = "ProjectSettings"
    Location = "Microsoft.SharePoint.SiteSettings">

    I have had a few virtual machines that built fine... one I’ve been using to test with works about 33% of the time and fails with the same error other times.
    I have tweaked the RAM and the # of Virtual Procs and nothing seems to consistently fix it.  Specifically I've disabled dynamic memory, set the RAM to 8GB and the number of procs to
    4. I've also downloaded the SharePoint ISO from multiple sources (MSDN/TechNet/Trial) thinking the installer was possibly corrupt - same issue.
    At this point I'm thinking it is either an issue with Hyper-V on Windows 8.1 + SharePoint or else something specific to my hardware but it is terribly hard to troubleshoot an error that

  • Error in Sharepoint 2013.

    Hi Friend,
    I have upgraded sharepoint 2010 application into sharepoint 2013. i am getting the below error message when i excuted the SP2013 application.
    Sorry, something went wrong
    Failed to get value of the "Request Type" column from the "Managed Metadata" field type control.  See details in log. Exception message: Invalid field name. {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}
    /apps/etms/Lists/Requests.
    so kindly advise how to resolve this issue.
    One more question, any limitation to upgrade SP2013 from SP2010 application. kindly advise.

    Hiya,
    I'd guess on the following. One of your content types are referencing an managed field type. This reference is set by ID and not name. When you move the solution to a new server, the ID's of the managed metadata might change, if the managed metadata is not
    moved with ID's. This will break your references and might lead to the error you are seeing.
    Something along the lines of this:

  • Could not load file or assembly AjaxToolkit error in SharePoint 2013 Visual Webpart

    I wanted to use ajax controls in visual webpart for sharepoint 2013 so i followed steps.
    1-I cut this snippet (see below) from <head></head> Section and paste in <body></body> Section for my master page since it's a requirement for SharePoint 2013 ajax functionality.
    Snippet:
    <!--MS:<SharePoint:AjaxDelta id="DeltaSPWebPartManager" runat="server">-->
    <!--MS:<WebPartPages:SPWebPartManager runat="server">-->
    <!--ME:</WebPartPages:SPWebPartManager>-->
    <!--ME:</SharePoint:AjaxDelta>-->
    2-downloaded a latest ajax tool kit and then added ajax toolkit dll from the toolkit library in my solution's bin-->debug folder
    now add ajax entries in web.config in these sections
    in <SafeControls>
          <SafeControl Assembly="ajaxcontroltoolkit, Version=4.1.7.1213, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=28f01b0e84b6d53e, processorArchitecture=MSIL" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" TypeName="*" />
    in <assemblies>
    <add assembly="AjaxControlToolkit, Version=4.1.7.1213, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=28f01b0e84b6d53e" />
    in <controls>
    <add tagPrefix="ajax" namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" assembly="AjaxControlToolkit, Version=4.1.7.1213, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=28f01b0e84b6d53e" />
    finally registered ajax in visual web part as
    <%@ Register Assembly="AjaxControlToolkit" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" TagPrefix="ajaxtoolkit" %>
    added following calender control
    <asp:TextBox MaxLength="10" ID="txtToDate" runat="server" CssClass="FormTextBoxSmall"></asp:TextBox>

  • Visual Webpart Sandboxed Solution Error in SharePoint 2013

    I am trying to insert a visual web part using sand boxed solution on a page.But when i insert a web part on page i get the following error.
    "Web Part Error: Unhandled exception was thrown by the sandboxed code wrapper's Execute method in the partial trust app domain: The type is not registered as safe".
    Please suggest how do i get rid off this error as I've to use sand boxed solutions not farm solution.

    Hi ,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you used visual web part solution in SharePoint 2013.
    Whether you have enabled the web part solution in Site Collection Administrator->Site Collection features.
    Whether there were some non-authorized methods called in your code.

  • Issue with @mention urls in newsfeed - SharePoint 2013

    I have configured mysites in SharePoint 2013 with following cnfigurations,
    Server name : Server1
    Alternate Access Mappings for Portal  (on port 80): Server1 (default), Intra.domain.com
    Alternate Access Mappings for MySites (on port 1234): Server1:1234, mysite.domain.com . I created these by extending web applications on port 80 with host header.
    When accessing Mysites using - mysite.domain.com
    I am able access mysites and intranet portal without any issues, browse org chart, post comments etc..
    Links to Newsfeed, Onedrive Pro, about me etc.. all are working fine.
    links to Hashtags are working fine. E.g #SharePoint
    But when i post with '@mention' links to these user profiles are taking me to 'Server1:1234' urls instead of 'mysite.domain.com' urls.
    Did any one experience similar issue? I am not if it is a bug in SharePoint.
    Any ideas to fix this issue?

    Hi Srujank,
    According to your description, my understanding is that the URL changed to Server:1234 when you posted with @mention in Newsfeed.
    Did this issue occur with other users?
    How did you configure the Alternate Access Mapping for the My Site web application?
    I recommend to set the Server:1234 as the default zone URL of the My Site web application and set the mysite.domain.com as the other zone’s URL.
    Best regards.

    Please help me to solve this issue. I don't know if uploading the excel workbook is enough or maybe It needed to connect to another data source.
    I Appreciate in advance.

    Hi Ali.y,
    Based on the current error message, the error can be related to the
    Claims to Windows Token Service (C2WTS) and is an expected error under certain conditions. To verify the issue, please check the aspects below:
         1. The C2WTS Windows service and C2WTS SharePoint service are both running.
         2. Check the SQL Server Browser service is running on the machine that has the PowerPivot instance of SSAS.
         3. Check the domain. You're signing into SharePoint with a user account in some domain (call it Domain A).  When Domain A is equal to Domain B which SharePoint server itself is located (they're the same domain), or Domain
    A trusts Domain B.
    In addition, the error may be caused by Kerberos authentication issue due to missing SPN. In order to make the Kerberos authentication work, you need to configure the Analysis Services to run under a domain account, and register the SPNs for the Analysis
    Services server.
    To create the SPN for the Analysis Services server that is running under a domain account, run the following commands at a command prompt:
    • Setspn.exe -S MSOLAPSvc.3/Fully_Qualified_domainName OLAP_Service_Startup_Account
    Note: Fully_Qualified_domainName is a placeholder for the FQDN.
    • Setspn.exe -S MSOLAPSvc.3/serverHostName OLAP_Service_Startup_Account

    Microsoft.Workflow.Client.WorkflowCommunicationException: The request was aborted: The request was canceled. Client ActivityId : 3ef6779c-fb54-e0c5-7c03-e24d99e809f1. ---> System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: The request was canceled. --->
    System.ServiceModel.CommunicationObjectFaultedException: The communication object, System.ServiceModel.Configuration.ConfigurationChannelFactory`1[Microsoft.SharePoint.IdentityServices.IApplicationSecurityTokenServiceContract], cannot be used for
    Currently, to make the workflow run again, we restart the SharePoint Workflow services again or restart the server again. Besides, the workflow can run normally after a few hours without any restart of SharePoint Workflow services or server restart. Is there
    any advice on this?
