Autofill in the username box (email, facebook, twitter, etc.)
hi. i have done the step for my facebook account, email account, etc.. I want Firefox do not remember my username. I have deleted all cookies, history, and everything i tried. I have even deleted firefox app and re-install it again. but...when I visit the site again and type in my username, the autofill bar popped out again. I do not want firefox to forget my usernames. Never been like this before. please help!

How do I autofill only the username or email... leave password blank
For security reasons I don't want my password to autofill but I do want my username to be saved. In the autofill feature it says to save both username AND password but I only want it to save the username. Is there anyway to do this?
Open Keychain Access (Applications/Utilities)
Select Passwords on the left.
Delete the keychains for the sites you don't want Safari to "remember".
However, if you have User names and passwords selected in Safari / Preferences - Autofill, you will be prompted to save that password to another keychain. Click No when asked to save the password. -

The game opens in a new window over to the upper left of my screen, leaving the original page underneath. I tried minimizing it so that I could get to my toolbar and did the View > Zoom > Reset. This has no effect. The lower portion of the game is still not showing. Using other browsers the window or frame of the game is much larger, therefore everything shows.

Yesterday my Firefox seemed to spasm and I believe I had a virus (every time I hit the "home" button which is google.com for me, it would send me to this weird site that I knew wasn't safe). I uninstalled and re-installed Firefox and ran virus scanners but nothing was found. After restarting Firefox, every website that I try to go to is giving me an unsafe error and that I must give each site a security exception, even for safe sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Once I did get on Facebook, everything is in HTML format and I can't use it at all I tried restarting/uninstalling/resetting Firefox again but to no avail. I checked my Firewalls and nothing came up. Here is the data from the troubleshooting information.

Hopefully you can figure something out as I love Firefox but it's very frustrating that I can't use it and that this is happening. I also use Avast! Anti-security but I'm fairly certain that is having no effect on this problem. As I said I've also ran malware and virus scanners but nothing came up harmful.Hello,

If your home page is has been changed, and you don't have any suspicious extensions:
* Tools (or [[Image: New Fx Menu]]) > Add-ons > Extensions
You can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/ Search Reset Tool] to reset your home page, new tab page, and search bar back to default. The extension then uninstalls itself once these preferences are reset.

How can I delete the "share" bar (facebook, twitter, etc.) from the web page I'm looking at?
A "share" bar comes up and blocks part of the information I'm viewing. I don't care to share anything on facebook, twitter, pinterest, etc. How can I stop this share bar from appearing? One suggestion was to go to Tools, Options, Content, and uncheck Enable Javascript.
I don't have a javascript box. Then what?Although these tools may be created using scripting, turning it off probably would break half of the web. So this setting has been hidden from easy changing. (It's still there if you really need it, but...)
Does this problem occur nonstop on all sites, or only on particular sites? If you see it all the time, it might be a feature of one of your add-ons. As a quick test to rule out your extensions as the cause, could you try visiting the same sites in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset)

The URL bar used to work almost as an "I'm Feeling Lucky" search, and take me directly to the website. For example, I would type in "facebook" and it would go right to facebook.com, or "twitter" and it would go right to twitter.com.
Now it goes to a google results page and i have to take the extra step by clicking on the top result, instead of firefox taking me right there.

Has anyone successfuly added the "like box" for Facebook (not the "like button")?
I've seen several discussions of this, and they either just trail off, or answer the question as it applies to the "like button" only.
If common Facebook Social Plugins don't work. Fine. It would be incredibly helpful if moderators, or Adobe staff could let us know. I've just started with Muse, but I have run across a few problems where other users have already asked the question I"m asking, but after a few vague suggestions the matters just seems to dead-end without resolution, one way or the other.
If I've missed a memo (its been known to happen) and Muse is still not out of beta and is unsupported, please ignore the above.

I have compared the page source of your test page with mine and the code is identical. Yours works, (I successfuly pasted it into my site) and mine does not. It appears as a grey box with a blue HTML in design mode, and does not appear at all in preview in browser or uploaded.
There must be something about the facebook page, or its permissions that I have missed. I have opened up everything I could find. Is it possible the feature only works with paid facebook accounts?
I'm still working on the Facebook KB to see if there's a reason why the LikeBox paste is not working.

I had this problem too. What I did was go to notifications on settings and turn everything on. If that doesn't work, go on the apps and then try their settings. Hope this helps

HELP!! Email, facebook, BBM, etc won't work EVEN ON WIFI! I HAVE a perfect 3G connection!
Hello, My internet wont work. On BBM I get a red cross, facebook nor blackberry appworld wont connect, I don't get emails nothing. I have a perfect 3G connection, with the symbol next to it. I can't browse either. When I turn on wifi, its still the same!! The only thing is that I can browse when wifi is connected. Nothing else. I called my service provider, they refreshed everything. Nothing happened. I also activated everything again (host routing table) you know the usual stuff. Nothing works. What could be the problem? It was working fine! Unfortunately, I cannot tell from your posts (e.g., "the usual stuff") if you have done these exact steps. Therefore, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
2) Delete and Resend Service Books
KB05000Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
If you have no CMIME entry, then skip the deletion
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you will need to continue to escalate wit your mobile service provider for formal support. You see, you PAY them for 100% of your service and 100% of your formal support...right now, it would seem that they are delivering neither to you, and you should not let them fob you off...you should insist that they comply with the terms of your contract, which means that they should stay with you until the issue is resolved, and formally escalate into RIM if they cannot solve it. For, you see, only via escalation from a carrier can your case receive any formal support from RIM.

Sharing specific page-content on Facebook/Twitter/etc...
Hi all,
I'm trying to create a blog-kind of website where I can add audio, video, pics and text on a regular basis. For the moment it looks like this: http://www.senneguns.be/sg/Leeg.html (don't try to understand, it's in Dutch . But as you can see, there's a date (Tuesday, July 27th) and underneath some text and a vimeo-link.
Now underneath the entry you can see a "share-on-facebook" button (doesn't have to be this one, I just picked one). Problem is, when you hit the button, you get a facebook-reference to the whole page AND it doesn't look very nice on Facebook. (The link is something like: http://www.senneguns.be/sg//Leegfiles/widget1markup.html --> doesn't say anything about the page content and I don't like the "widget1_markup.html" stuff in it)
So is there a way to link/connect the share button directly to the content on a page and even more specific: to SOME content on the page (like, in this instance, the vimeo-movie?). Here: http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/FacebookShare/Specifying_MetaTags I read it can be done with meta-tags, but I don't know how to implement those into iWeb (seem to come across various info concerning meta-tagging in iWeb)...
Any help would be very nice, looked and googled around for a while and couldn't find the answer... Thanks!
S.The one I used from http://www.addthis.com/web-button-select *worked for me*. I did forgot to provide one little adjustment that I had to make in order to make it work. I had to enlarge the snippet area to about 450 x 400 pixels to allow the drop down window to appear. The area can overlap other items. But don't hit the apply button after setting the new size or it will go back to the original size.
The close window x in the larger window doesn't work however but clicking on the button will open and close the larger selection window. The cursor rollover opens a smaller selection window.

Is the iTunes Store emailing gift certs etc broken?
Just bought 3 songs as gifts - none have arrived via email.
Have tried 4 different email addresses.
Is the Store down? Anyone else have success or otherwise?I have heard from Support but so far I've just been advised to check all e-mail folders because it might have been treated as spam. I've also received instructions how to resend it.
I've replied, explaining I've resent it several times (I'd already said so in my original e-mail), that I don't use spam filtering software but I'd checked my Webmail folders just in case, and that I'd tried resending to three different e-mail addresses, I'd checked my mail on two PCs and an iPhone and finally that I'm not the only one experiencing the problem.
I'll let you know if anything else develops.
